They have Thrifty ice cream here!!! I do miss Rite Aid tremendously since its better priced than here, but the ice cream is great and they actually give you a sizable scoop for the price. I wouldn't bring a tourist here, but good for like just random ice cream treat sometimes for a local. They have mix ins and cookie sandwiches and stuff but I just got a normal scoop and it was good. We had a wonderful supper next door at the Eldo! An excellent experience once again. We told our waiter that we would be getting dessert next door at The Scoop because a person in our group is celebrating a birthday (The Scoop has the the same owners as The Eldo). We walked over and when ordering we informed Scoop staff member that we had dinner next door and Jake said told us to point out that one person in our group is celebrating a birthday. I have to say that I do like Thrifty ice cream and their cookies are thicker than I'd prefer; however, their salted caramel cookies have the perfect texture and thickness, and I'd come back here for that cookie alone. We love this place and come here often. The cookies and brookies are soooooo good, don't sleep on those thinking that ice cream is only way to go. Been here several times but always ate what I got before I could snap a picture. We come here for ice cream on the weekends and we love it. There's a good variety of ice cream flavors, cookies, and almost too many toppings to choose from. My partner normally gets a scoop on a waffle cone and I order the Big Trev. It's an ice cream sandwich with ice cream in it. You can mix and match the cookies for the sandwich and mix and match your ice cream flavors as well. The Scoop (right next door to The Eldo) is such a fun spot! They serve up Thrifty ice cream so you already know it's a win! The servings are huge, the toppings are generous, and everything tastes amazing. Apparently this is where the pick-up orders for the restaurant are processed. Under the same owner and operation. Cute place with a lot of baked goodies to select from. There isn't seating as this was primarily a take out place but they hook you up with the ice cream. Just got some Friday night ice cream from "scoop/Eldo"the energy from the staff was horrible!!. My Daughter and I almost didn't even want ice cream. I had to ask the girl if she was OK because her face and expression were dead.. . She obviously did not want to be there. Then she proceeded to tell me her throat was sore as she handed us our ice cream.. can you please hire some more enthusiastic people in the ice cream department?.. this is not the first time this has happened in that area for some reason they do not want to be in the scoop section. read more

Good, huge scoops - 3 scoops is around $6. You can also choose to have an ice cream sandwich at the same price and take my word for it this is the way to go!! The cookies are always freshly baked and perfectly crispy and soft but holds the ice cream really well. Cookies were so good that i got a couple to-go as well (choco chip and their Ranger cookies - their version of oatmeal cookies with coconuts in it).
