Went for dinner here with my gf; the sushi and hibachi always calling my name lol walked in, seated right away; bathrooms were clean when I went to it. The place is spacious and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing; at least the night we went. We got drinks and appetizers quick , shortly after we placed that order. We had sushi and a hibachi meal that was truly so delicious! Customer service was A1; I mean really good! Happy customer; I'd recommend to check out this place out.

All the food was tasty & fairly priced. Excellent customer service, just make sure u go over the description they have online if u order takeout online. I ordered chicken skewers, crab wontons (Ragoon) & tuna roll (tekka-tuna). The online takeout description said the tekka tuna roll had crab, cucumber, avocado & roe. My roll only had tuna with the rice and seaweed. Also, wonton soup and Dumpling soup are same.

The chicken was not cooked and the soup was mediocre. This place used to be pretty good, but has gone downhill.

Not bad for a Wednesday at 1:30. The food is still good, but the service is HORRIBLE! Waitress came and said "order?". No introduction, no specials (clearly a board that listed some but was somewhat blocked by tables). We ordered, no recognition, no cordial response - very off putting. Did not make us feel welcome. Seemed rushed like she had some place else to be. I opted for just ice water and I ended up with and empty glass for more than half of my meal. No follow up to see how the meal is. When we were done, she came and asked "finished?" We were but once again that was it, no "anything else?". Guess she didn't realize she's in customer service and she needs to change her attitude. Unfortunately, the wait staff all seemed to have the same disposition. I told my son, this is a management issue, they need to train their staff better. So disappointed!

It's a concept of all you can eat, soup, salad, 2 rolls of your choice, at one time, nigiri, and either ice cream or sherbert. We ordered an appetizer from the main menu, the rangoon, was good. Now lunch was from the special all you can eat menu Monday menu, which is different than the full restaurant menu. There are a couple of special rolls on there. I tried the shrimp tempura roll, which I've never seen shrimp tempura look like a fish stick style, no shrimp tail at all, very odd. The rolls were prepared larger in size, I guess to get you full, or to not get you to follow one of their rules. So you must eat all of the sushi even the rice, you can't eat out the middle, even if you don't like it, before you can be served another option of the all you can eat items. The waitress literally pointed which sushi my guest didn't eat, as they went to order another option. Mind you, both of our rolls came on one plate, as if we were sharing. We did not like the fatty tuna with scallions, it was dry and very fishy. The spicy tuna which most places serve minced was more whole pieces, very different. Different is good, when it's flavorful, but this was missing it's punch. The kami salad was layered which was nice, but too much spicy mayo for the ratio, ask for your sauce on the side so you can mix it, since you mix it yourself anyway. The cucumber came layered under the crab, and the sauce on top, I actually liked that. The teas and soups were good, Dragon roll was my favorite, it was the shrimp tempura and salmon mixed. Try for yourself. It was a cute experience with good chocolate ice cream.

The restaurant is medium sized, lots of booths, and was decorated for Valentine's Day. They take reservations and were pretty busy. Service was good, although a little slow at the beginning. I tried the following dishes: Cauliflower Manchurian (3/5): This dish was pretty good, but not amazing. I did enjoy it. Garlic Chili Noodles (3.5/5): Pretty good noodles, not very spicy but good flavor and consistency. Hakka Chili Chicken (4/5): I liked this chicken, but my dining partner did not. The chicken was boneless dark meat, which I really like. You can get it with no, light, or full gravy. We did full and had it with rice. I did enjoy this dish. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at HAKA. No dishes were real standouts, but they were all decent. It is not a bad option for Indo-Chinese in the area.

The menu has both indian and chinese dishes. It's not fusion just two different cuisines being sold. We ordered a roll that came with shrimp tempura, mango and salmon. It was very good, a warm grill that felt like a sandwich. The side galore noodles we ordered were dry and not very flavourful. We ordered shrimp with then and they came with fried/tempura shrimp, which we found odd. There was also egg on the dish but it did nothing for the noodles. We ordered the noodles regular so they should have had some sauce but there was none. The chicken dishes were both really good. The chicken wasn't overly fried or breaded. It tasted fresh and had a good bite to it. I like the spicy garlic chicken a bit more because of the spice. The haka chicken was more of a sweet and salty flavor. Both were tasty. If I'm in the area I'll come back here.

But with that said, my girl wanted some Indo Chinese.... so we made the trip here to see whether it's worth a second visit. Now, to be clear: the Rose is a Pan Asian Cuisine. So it's not necessarily just Indo Chinese, but it also encompasses flavors from all the other countries too. We ended up ordering 3 items in the following order: 1a: Gobi Manchurian 1b: Smoked Vegetable Sizzler 2: Mushroom Sautéed in Ginger Garlic We ordered the first two together and those arrived relatively quickly. The Gobi Manchurian was the better of the two, but I wonder if it was a bit too overpowered with spice and less of the sweet and sour taste (or even the soy sauce). The spice was a bit too overbearing. The sizzler was fine, but it was mostly onions and peppers. The tofu - while cooked fine - surprised me because it was like the silky ma po tofu (which coincidentally is what they serve here). In other words, the same tofu is repeated across multiple meals. I think the tofu needed to be pan fried at least for a sizzler. Because of the above, we didn't feel full and thought that the mushroom would provide a different taste pallet. Unfortunately, that was a miss as the mushroom had the same taste as the gobi manchurian, when it should've been infused with the ginger garlic. Additionally, the mushroom was way too overcooked so you couldn't even taste them either. It was like a crunchy mushroom. No good. To make things worse, the waiter, who also manned the front desk, seemed a bit too aloof at times. Often that meant not refilling water unless prompted and not providing the check on time or not even setting up the tables properly with silverware. It was a bit disappointing. This place has the potential, especially with the cute decor. But failed execution with the food and some lackluster service do not make this a place I'd recommend in the future.

Here in north Howell Township, you will find an Asian restaurant that does not have a lot of…read morereviews, yet has a lot of potential. Brand: 4/5 Located in Regal Plaza, New Pan Asian specializes in Chinese and Japanese cuisines. It has a pretty standard sign that has a straightforward subtitle indicating which meals they serve. Inside, you will find a Japanese noren that accommodates a line. You will also find many Chinese-inspired décor throughout the establishment. Based on what I discovered inside, I will say that the Chinese/Japanese aesthetics match well. I also liked the vine motif upon the wall. Website: 5/5 It opens to the main page, with sections separated by brush-stroke endings. It has the standard description about its location in Howell Township. I do like how the menu items have their Chinese/Japanese translations below their English names. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no interruptions or issues waiting for my order. Ambiance: 4/5 While the establishment did not have music, I did not think it needed it, since the cooking itself provided an immersive sound without disruption. I did notice a burnt smell throughout the establishment. While it did have a few tables, I did not see a problem with them, for they had well-spaced positions. I had no issue with the seats. Food: 5/5 I ordered a small box of Seafood Fried Rice, packed with peas, carrots, shrimp, crab meat, and crayfish, with a side of Taro creamy tea latte. The box had an equal amount of meats and vegetables. It all held a form that stayed within the box, while also did not fall off, and all of it had a well-cooked steam. With every application of soy sauce, duck sauce, and hot sauce, the eating experience definitely gave me a warm taste with every bite. Every part of the box satisfied me. As for the Taro creamy tea latte, I will say that it had a sweet taste to it, accompanied by the bobas at the bottom. I never had Taro before, and I will say that it was a pleasant first impression. It also help neutralize the hot-sauce-laden fried rice. Service: 5/5 The owners provided a good service with asking if I wanted it to go or to eat there. Worth The Money?: 4/5 The food reflected the brand perfectly both in the establishment and the website. It perplexes me how New Pan Asian could have a low rating. Nothing about the ambiance interfered with my time there, and the wait time was appropriate for the time it took to prepare the Seafood Fried Rice. The service puts a lot of care into the food. Pertaining to the ambiance reflecting the brand and the website, I would like to see more of the combination of Chinese and Japanese aesthetics, since they both have vibrancy in their own ways. Americans typically do not have the time or the luxury to learn in-depth Chinese and Japanese culture (let alone the differences between them). Needless to say, the time it took to wait for my order did not feel tedious when accounting for the establishment's ambiance. Between me and the owners, we did struggle to communicate. In immigrant-owned eateries, I generally forgive the owners and the staff if English is their second language. If I ever find myself around Regal Plaza, I would absolutely consider it my first option for Asian cuisine. I did think the tea latte had a high price compared to the Seafood Fried Rice. Rating: 5/5 Stars I see a lot of hope for New Pan Asian, since it brings Asian cuisine to Regal Plaza. Recommend To... Anyone looking for Asian cuisine in the area, but is also interested in learning Mandarin Chinese or Japanese, since you might try to learn them there, based on how they write their menus and their receipts.
