The food here is not as bad as the reviews may lead you to believe. The burger was good, not great, same for the fries. However, my bartender and server, Natalie, was very nice and easy to chat with, without it being forced. My only drawback is my burger was well-done, not medium-well... and it smells like smoke everywhere. That's somewhat expected but still sucks. They're open until well past midnight too. Oh and they do a discount for military on Monday.

    Chicken Chile Verde Soup

Since we were staying at Win-River Resort & Casino and checked into the hotel super late after hiking all day, we were exhausted and didn't want to drive anywhere else for dinner. We were just relieved that the hotel/casino had a restaurant that we could dine at on our first night here. Hence, we came to Seasons. I wasn't expecting much because casino food is never good unless you're in Vegas. But I did expect my salad to be edible. We were provided free fry bread to start with, which was a nice surprise and I did like the fry bread. My partner ordered the prime rib entree while I had the chicken chile verde soup and a California Fresh salad, which is basically similar to a cobb salad. My soup came out first and it was tasty, and I liked dipping the fry bread into the soup, which was nice. But the salad was not good at all. I didn't realize the lettuce would be all iceberg lettuce, which wasn't indicated in the description on the menu, so that was a red flag there. The chicken was dry and overcooked, the avocado was not soft as if it had been sitting in a fridge for hours, and the hardboiled egg tasted like it was cooked days ago. Yikes! I ate what I could and tossed in the towel for most of it because it was the opposite of California Fresh as its name claims. I'm glad that my partner liked his prime rib entrée though, which came with sautéed veggies and a baked potato. Even though our server was super friendly and social, it wasn't fast service. She was managing the entire dining area, so it took a while to get items. Seasons is also located in the casino and is the only option for dine-in service, so I'm sure this place gets busy. Not the best food here, but at least I was able to get something to eat with the complimentary fry bread and soup, thankfully.

Let's start by saying they have live music on weekends! This place is inside the Win River Casino! There is a bar in the center of the room and then the layout has the booths a level up and you can see everything! The guys playing in the live band and the bartender shaken up cocktails. I really enjoyed the ambiance here. I order a nice champagne cocktail and Steak! It was pretty good. Cooked to my liking and flavorful. The mashed potatoes that came with my steak were tasty. I enjoyed my cocktail also. One thing that stuck out to me though was there were a lot of new employees! How I know this because they were bring food out to the wrong tables! We had a lady try and give us a salad when we're were already having an appetizer. Then she went to another table and they said no also. Ekkk! Then the girl asks another girl where it should be delivered and she said she didn't know any table numbers. Wow noted! Which reminds me that we had an appetizer that was good too. A wonderful bruschetta with mozzarella and a balsamic glaze with a nice crostini. Okay back to the new people. Not a huge deal but it didn't make the restaurant look good. Next we pay and leave due to it being kind of empty in the place we were ready to go! The next day my friend realizes we were charged twice for our food.Hmmmm.... I'm like are you sure? So we call the bank and sure enough the card was rang twice. So at this point it's time to give them a call and see what happened. So I call to do the talking and I get a server that is really nice but just takes my number and some information. He lets me know that a manager will return my phone call when they have time. It was busy. Totally understandable it was Sunday around noon. Then I get a call back yeppie when I saw the area code on my phone. It was a very nice Chef in charge that just came on to shift and saw a note with this information on it and he wanted to address it right away. That I thought was awesome because at the end of the day he is in the Back of the house and he easily could have waiting for the Front of House manger to deal with it! Thank you Chef. He was really apologetic and said that the server had run the card twice because she ran the wrong total the first time. So the card would only be charged once and the one transaction that was wrong will fall off.... Okay that's kind what I was thinking but it would have been so nice of the waitress to tell us that. Well at least the Chef was able to find that out and relay the message. So this is why I gave 3 stars but I would have give 4 because overall I was full and had a nice time listening to the band while eating!

This place is conveniently located within the Win-River Resort & Casino. The interior is designed in the typical casino style decor, along with an outdoor patio area. We came here a few times during our stay at the hotel. The bar is nice to relax at for a cocktail and socializing. Plenty of flat screen TV's are positioned around the lounge. The bartender was friendly and created a refreshing alcoholic beverage for me as we visited with family and friends. Joe K ordered an Indian Taco plate that didn't fulfill his expectations and was unable to finish it. The next morning we all met here for breakfast and unfortunately, experienced the same slow, dysfunctional service as many other previous Yelpers had mentioned in their reviews. While our waiter was pleasant, we started to realize that he was having a hard time getting our orders straight and would have to come back to ask what some of us had ordered again. Getting our food took way too long, because apparently, they were short handed in the kitchen. A few of us in our party started getting annoyed and wished we had gone to another restaurant. I ordered the "build your own omelet" with my choice of 3 items. My breakfast was good, but others weren't as impressed with their food. My nephew received his veggie skillet not only late, but the cook forgot to put eggs into his dish! This place appears to have potential to be a successful place for hotel guests, tourists and locals, but management needs to have more staff meetings!

    Indian fry bread

Located in the Win River casino in Redding is the Elements restaurant. This is a nice stop if you're needing a break from the gaming activities ( slots, card games, etc). The best part of the restaurant is the Indian fry bread that comes complimentary when you're dining. It's warm, delicious, and addicting. You can eat it plain, with butter and/ or honey. Honestly, by the time my dinner came I was no longer famished. It's just as well, because the meatloaf and potatoes were just ok. Maybe it was my fault that I filled up on salad and that killer Indian fry bread. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. I will come back and fill up on the bread again.

Super disappointed in Winn River Brunch!! THE FUCKING WORST EVER The service was the best the fucking food was trash! Understandably due to covid things have changed, but the following shouldn't have been affected: Same price $25 with no prime rib and no seafood. It took an easy 45min just to get our food and there were only 5-6 group tables being served. Hashbrowns were raw. Waffles were soggy. Pancakes were flat and not fluffy. Breakfast tacos had hard flour tortillas. I always come here but since covid this is a joke as much of the price. I have a better continental breakfest from the Hilton hotel this this 25 dollar slop! Now the server was amaizing she made this piss poor experience tolerable, hats off to Michelle

I would give this place six stars if Yelp would let me. This visit was actually a few months ago, and I created a Yelp account specifically so I could finally write this review. Ever since we left, I've found myself thinking, "I really wish I had reviewed them." Eventually I realized that just because time had passed didn't mean I shouldn't. When a place leaves this much of an impression months later, people should know about it. We drove about 3 1/2 hours to Win-River Resort & Casino to see Chase Matthew in concert, and from the time we arrived until we left, every employee we interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful. We arrived near the end of Sunday brunch. It wasn't an enormous casino buffet, but what it lacked in size it made up for in quality. They had pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, an omelet station, and genuinely good fresh crab rather than the cheaper quality you often expect at a buffet. The chocolate and lemon cakes were great, but the fresh fruit compotes made them. Blueberry compote on the lemon cake and strawberry compote with the chocolate was perfect. But the best part of breakfast was the staff. Plates were cleared, drinks stayed full, and everyone was attentive without hovering. When an issue with my credit card took a while to straighten out, our waiter simply stood there talking and joking with me. Instead of making an embarrassing situation uncomfortable, he had me laughing about how banks do things like this. It was one of the best interactions I've had with a waiter in a long time. And it wasn't just him. The man at the casino information desk joked around with me when I got completely turned around trying to find the restaurant. The ladies at check-in took our bags even though we were hours early and held them until we returned after the concert. We were also the first group in line for the concert. Staff moved chairs from nearby machines and lined them up outside the venue so we could keep our place without blocking the doors or spending hours sitting on the floor. The venue was just off the non-smoking section, so we could wait comfortably without sitting in cigarette smoke but were still close enough to walk into the main casino if we wanted to. And this casino is CLEAN. Not just "there's no garbage on the floor" clean. There wasn't grime built up on the machines or dirt ground into the carpet. I haven't been to a huge number of casinos in California, but I've been to my fair share in Nevada, and this was one of the cleanest I've visited. The concert venue was equally clean, organized, and well staffed. Normally after an event you remember that one employee who was especially nice--or that one who wasn't. Here, every single person we encountered was friendly. After the concert, we went to our room and realized we were still hungry, so we headed back downstairs. It was late enough that the restaurant was serving a very limited menu, but after talking with the bartender/server, she made an exception and let us order several bar-food items from the regular menu that weren't available on the late-night menu. The food took a little while, but at that hour I'm guessing the kitchen may have been down to one person. When it arrived, the portions were HUGE. The garlic fries and cheese curds were probably three times the size we expected, and instead of the three decent-sized chicken tenders we expected, we got five. If anything, I felt bad about how much we couldn't finish. There was one downside. Our room was clean, the refrigerator had complimentary bottled water, and the shower had refillable shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that were more than adequate. Unfortunately, someone next door spent about four hours during the night banging on the wall at fairly regular intervals. Ironically, what made that so frustrating was how incredibly comfortable the mattress was. If the bed had been uncomfortable, I probably wouldn't have cared about the banging because I wouldn't have been sleeping anyway! Instead, I was lying in an incredibly comfortable bed knowing that without the noise next door, I would have gotten a genuinely great night's sleep. That was really the only negative part of our experience. I honestly have no real reason to ever be in Redding again, but I can say with certainty that if I ever find myself even within an hour of Win-River Resort & Casino, I'll go back. There aren't many places I'm still thinking about months later--and definitely not many that make me create a Yelp account just to tell other people how good they were.

I'm here actually to go to the restaurant in here. Seasons is basically the all meals restaurant inside the Win River Casino. They open at 6 am for breakfast. The only reason I'm in here in a casino in the morning is I'm meeting one of my corporate bosses whose up from LA. He flew directly into Redding from LAX and loves casinos. I guess this was better for me than to go to Las Vegas to meet him! We need to meet on some stuff and he figured he'd just stay here at the hotel of the casino. I don't normally come to casinos that aren't in Nevada. We meet up around 8am and talk about business and we sit down in Seasons for breakfast. Looking over the menu it seems pretty normal American food. I go for the Chicken fried steak with home fries and scrambled eggs. I ask for lots of gravy on everything including the potatoes. My boss orders the same. Service is pleasant and efficient with the coffee refills. It's not too long and our food arrives. Wow, that's some good looking Chicken Fried Steak! For those of you that don't know, Chicken Fried Steak, isn't chicken, but it's beef, usually a Swiss steak cut that's been tenderized. They call it chicken, cause it's FRIED like a chicken with a batter. Usually deep fried. We both thought the breakfast was scrumptious, this was some of the best gravy I've had, bit super gloppy but just think enough. There was so much food I couldn't finish and took my leftovers back to go. It was a good meeting and breakfast on the boss. I didn't ask if he won any money or not or if he lost ..... Oh, the inside of the casino is pretty typical mid sized casino decor. As long as the boss is happy, I'm happy!
