Ordering was easy and intuitive. You pick the protein, bowl size, type of base (brown rice, white rice, or kale salad), and then toppings and sauces, some extra, or ~premium~. Speaking of premium, Sous Vide Runny Egg, always a winner! Pickup was a breeze as well. Everything was clean and ready to go. You walk in, give your name, they hand you your bag and you walk out. The bag was ready for travel as long as you buckle it up. Safety first! So good! I think we have eaten here 4-5 times and the food and service has been excellent each time. The husband normally gets ahi and albacore and I have been getting the salmon. Everything always tastes fresh! I really like that they don't charge extra for the crab salad, like a lot of other places do. You can choose from a regular or large bowl. Even the regular size is quite filling. Maybe they will Introduce a small size in the future for kids or lighter eaters? The only suggestion, besides a small bowl, would be to add unagi to the options. It is so good, but I can see how that would have to add another element by having to cook it. After trying this place 2xs I feel this is a fair review. Was first really excited to try this Poke place, but realized quickly there are many limitations from protein option to other toppings. This was my first time trying a poke bowl outside of Portland and I really enjoyed it. I got half of the garlic salmon and half of the truffle salmon and I enjoyed both. I really appreciate that this place marinates and seasons all of their protein options instead of leaving it plain like other places because it really adds a lot to the overall flavor. If you've never had poké in Hawaii, then I can see how one might be mistaken to believe this is authentic. If you're a Hawaii transplant, then I can see how one might want a quick fix reminder of home. Since this is the only poké I had in Oregon, I have no basis for comparison as far as the local fare - somewhere else is possibly and probably better. That being said, the rice is washed and cooked cooked perfectly. A good poké bowl begins with good rice. Overcooked, mochi-sticky rice is not the business! The fish. There is less fish in the bowl than anything else. You get your choice of fish (I tried spicy snapper because, why not?) which is about 1/4c worth. Then you get two side choices about the size of a small ice cream scooper - I chose the imitation crab salad and kimchee corn. My son opted for the li-hing cabbage (slaw). Choose your sauce - I chose the spicy mayo (sriracha) but wasabi mayo might've been better. Then you get any choice of toppings which include pickled ginger, tobiko (flying fish roe), furikake (Japanese dry seasoning meant for sprinkling), fried onions, nori strips (dried seaweed) - I opted for the last two. Tofu, soft boiled egg, and avocado are available for an additional charge. Would we go back? No. But did we starve? Also, no. Came in from lunch. There some positives and negatives. I love poke with all of my soul, I will sometimes dream about it. I will say the poke itself is pretty good, it's fresh, seasoned pretty well. However, they charge a bit too much for the amount they give you. If you wanted extra pole it's $4. And a scoop is equivalent to a cup. But I decided to try it anyway. Only reason I'm giving this a 3 star is because of the sides. I don't know if I came on an off day or something, but the sides didn't have much flavor, it was mostly bland. I literally pushed it aside. I've been to a lot of poke places and this one is no for me dog. I think this place is good but needs a bit of tweaking here and there. I used to frequent the Hawthorne location but my friend and I decided to try this one out in Beaverton since we were already on the west side. went with the large bowl with salmon. their salmon is my favorite, so its hard to stray from my usual but the snapper and ahi tuna are also really good. i do the base as half brown rice / half kale salad and i just love this option. the corn, edamame and seaweed salad are my favorite toppings as well as their wasabi mayo and chili oil for sauces. their house made chili oil is SO good. I also love their seasonal teas an lemonade, this time i got their mango lemonade and it was just as good as it sounds. overall, seasweets is a 10/10 in my book and it's a poke place not to be passed up. read more

I'm an avid poke fan. I've eaten it all over the west coast. The quality of the fish was good. The pricing was insane. $16 dollars for 2 scoops, $4 for 1 extra scoop. Very few toppings to choose from compared to 99% of poke shops. Avocado was not an included option but $1.75 option. There were 4 toppings to choose from, you get a grand total of 2 selections. An extra option costs extra $. 4 sauces to choose from as well. 2 mayo based and 2 oil based. The oil bases were either sweet or spicy, nothing plain. I've never tasted poke bowls so salty in my life. I'm not sure where it was all coming from. I'm guessing the kale salad base, but it seemed to be coming from the fish (which are all marinated, no plain) and the sauces. I paid $50 including tip for 2 bowls!!!! I generally would never pay more than $30 and that's on the high side. Definitely a first and last experience. Over priced and under delivered!! Please avoid! read more

Delicious, fresh, authentic quality poke. I got a large bowl, which is around 17 dollars, which gives you two big mounds of poke, rice, two sides, and unlimited toppings. I got white rice, their truffle salmon and shoyu ahi, crab salad, edamame, house chili oil, and miso sesame sauce with furikake, fried onions, and nori on top! This is delicious, it's like a gem in the sea. Be careful, the chili sauce is spicy and mixed with the Serrano peppers is a kick to the stomach. My bowl was as pretty as in the pictures and the fish had no oceanic 'aroma' indicating it was old, so far so good right? Erm, well.... I wish I could stop there and say the bowl was delightful and I can't wait to go back, but I can't. Why? It was so, so salty. I don't consider myself to be sensitive to salt (I can dispatch a bag of chips in one sitting)0, but my bowl was salty to the point that I forced myself to hit halfway (because my friend paid) and couldn't eat anymore. This is a go-to for us when we need something fast and healthier than burgers/wings/etc. They have a nice selection of toppings and ingredients to go with their fish. There's nothing I can complain about when I think of SeaSweets, but it is a little on the pricey side (although it may just be the sticker shock of rising ingredient prices). We've been to SeaSweets Poke so many times, staff behind the counter recognize us!!! I've never had poke in Hawaii but this appears to be the Real Deal. Essentially there are three steps to building your poke bowl: two sizes, regular and large. Step 1, choose your base: white or brown rice, kale salad or a combo of all 3. Then step 2, pick your poke: ahi, salmon, albacore, shrimp (cooked), snapper, spicy tuna, octopus (cooked) or tofu. Each is mixed with its own vinaigrette. Step 3, add sides & toppings/sauces: choose two from Seaweed Salad (not gluten free), Kimchee Corn (contains fish), Li-Hing Cabbage Slaw, Edamame, Lemon Pepper Krab (not gluten free), House Pickled Bean Sprouts, Sambal Guacamole (+ $1.75), and Sous-Vide Runny Egg (+ $1.50). I have never seen such a disorganized process. Definitely not enough people working there either. I haven't been here in awhile and I used to enjoy them often. Tonight I ordered on Chow Now. Came in 30 min after placing order to pick up, Chow Now said it would be ready in 15. When I arrived I was told they were running behind, that's fine, but I see my order sitting there half ready on the counter and people are coming in to order and they just work around my order. 50 minutes total and multiple times I had to ask when they would finish making my family's order. When we got home and opened the bag, none of the toppings were on it and we paid extra for the eggs and never got them. Please fix your system. Edited to say the poor girl working really tried her very best to make it better and refunded me, but this isn't her fault, I blame the owners. Now while I commend the attempt to cut down on plastic, the amount of food inside of these is maybe half of what it was in the bowls. So now I am paying $17-$20 for half the amount of food. Ordered lunch via Postmates. Had the salmon bowl (small) with many toppings. So many to choose from. I wish the delivery apps had pictures. My favorite toppings were the crunchy onions and the corn. I think the salmon I got wasn't as orange as another reviewer's picture but I don't really what salmon is supposed to look like anyway. When it's orange is that added coloring?....or when it's less orange is it because it partly cooked by the hot rice by the time it's delivered? Whatever the case, I wish there were more poke. The poke was well portioned and flavorful. My bowl looked very aesthetic when I left. I also grabbed the house lemonade which was so much more than lemonade. It had berries and it tasted like there was lavender in it. The staff was friendly, too. The only thing I left wishing for was plain protein options. It looks like they pre-mix certain flavors with the fish and I just wasn't sure how they would play together.
