I was excited to try this place, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. When we arrived, it was extremely busy and loud. The tables are packed very close together, so people were constantly walking into or bumping our chairs while trying to get by. It made the dining experience feel crowded and uncomfortable. The buffet itself appeared clean, but I saw several children touching food and then putting it back while their parents weren't paying attention, which was pretty off-putting. What concerned me the most was the food handling. I watched cooks outside smoking cigarettes while wearing food-service gloves, then go back inside without changing them. Several employees, including waitstaff, were also outside smoking, and the smell of cigarettes lingered on them while they were serving guests. That's not something I want to experience while eating. The food was also underwhelming. A lot of the hot dishes looked like they should have been steaming, but everything I tried was lukewarm or cold. The desserts were very dry--the cake in particular was hard and tasted like it had been sitting out for quite a while. The sushi was okay, but some of it didn't taste as fresh as I expected. I had gotten multiple things to try but didn't end up eating it due to temperature & taste. I also noticed several employees spending time on their phones or standing around talking, which made it difficult to get anyone's attention when we needed assistance. I tried almost everything but went back for the salmon sashimi & the kalbi beef. No crab or short ribs for lunch but for $19.99, I can't complain. Drinks are an additional $2.99. Food was temperature appropriate and overall tasted good. This AYCE buffet is a mixture of Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Everything tasted good and nothing was overly greasy or salty. Pass on desserts- with the exception of the ice cream bin, the sweets really weren't that good. But the fruit looked fresh! Servers are nice and they clean plates frequently from the table and refill drinks as needed. If they upped their desserts, I'd consider changing my stars to five. We'll be back. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean - the food service area is well tended and constantly wiped down by staff and i liked that. The hot foods, especially the fried ones, are my favorite. The lightly battered fish was crispy and tender, and tempura is about as good as any other sit down restaurant. The cold salads have some nice Asian items including wood ear, seaweed, and poke! The sushi rolls are plump and they do not skimp on ingredients - no tiny rolls that's mostly rice but large rolls with mostly ingredients your want to eat. The interior design is modern, from the bright lighting to the glass (?) artwork on the ceiling, and has a kind of psychological effect on the dining experience to make you feel like you're eating super upscale buffet food. They did a good job at restocking the food, which is good considering how greedy some people are :(. Since I drive by everyday for work, it's been a long time coming to see this place open up. We came in for a last minute lunch plan to see what it's like, and it didn't disappoint. The space is gigantic and beautifully decorated, the ceiling felt almost Vegas-ish, specifically kind of like the Bellagio hotel vibe. Food wise, everything tasted fresh, the flavors are mostly mediocre, but meets the expectation for a buffet. Good variety of sushi and hot food comparing to the few local Asian buffets. I was initially excited for this new buffet since they are starting to make a comeback. This was a let down. Parking is bonkers since it was busy even for a Monday. As soon as we walked in, it was very confusing of where to go. The food was under seasoned and it's sad when the noodles and beef were the best which wasn't saying much. My friend said the sushi and seafood was very bland not really recommended.
