Ambiance is nice and cozy, the staff was great and attentive, and the charcuterie board was better than a lot of regular restaurants I've been to and a decent price for how much you got. Bar tender was quick and courteous. Do not order the Beet and Burrata salad. Canned beets cut into 1/4 inch cubes. Gross. Crushed pistachios? More like whole dried and salted. Also gross. The burrata? Whole, barely warmed, the least amount of effort went into presentation. It wasn't so much that the food was bad (it was), it was just insulting to walk into a place that projected "high end wine bar" only to be served slop. We only got wine here but the food sounded really good, lots of cocktails I would've loved to have tried, and there were a lot of good selections for alcohol overall. Long rant, so to summarize: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, WALK, sorry, RUN AWAY. Seriously, McDonald's was cheaper, friendlier, faster, their technology actually worked, and a short walk away. I had high hopes from the place from first glance at the spacious and inviting atmosphere to the healthier menu, but my hopes to have a relaxing dinner with a wine pairing was quickly shut down. Waited about 5 minutes until someone finally helped me. The one blonde lady working the entire space was extremely rude, disrespectful, and my experience was sadly very similar to previous guests from Google reviews. The sign at the front said to please wait to be seated and some items might not be available due to food supply shortage. I reviewed the paper menu in the display, and scanned the QR code menu to compare offerings. When I was finally assisted, I asked if the salmon tartine was on the menu. The miserable person said yes, and got me seated. There are QR codes at every single table to complete your order and pay, but I received errors on 3 different ones (the QR code label notes the table number). We're all wearing masks, it's been over a year of this, so we all know by now it can be a littleeee harder to hear and communicate. I told the jerk running the place the code to order wasn't working. Her response, "That's why I told you if you had a menu, those aren't working". Me, "No, you asked the lady ahead of me if she had a menu." Her, "Well you asked about the salmon, so I figured you knew." I got up to leave, said this was a waste of time, and she said ok BYE!! I've never felt more pissed and surprised that I was spoken to that way. There are so many other ways to speak to a guest, I could have been given a paper menu at seating if she knew the QR code order form didn't work. However, previous reviews say there aren't even paper menus available, so...you either memorize the menu at the entrance, hope the QR code works, or...suffer and starve because no one will actually help? Also note, this is a WINE place and the paper menu only specified food. To put the cherry on top, there's a standing sign at the entrance explaining how easy entire process of ordering at your table with the code is, HA. We're over a year into ordering food at restaurants with codes, and this idiot can't even figure it out how to help resolve or calmly and POLITELY assist?? The audacity. Just...the absolute worst customer service ever, and time wasted writing this novel. Seriously, if you hate communicating with and helping people simply order a quick bite to eat, maybe this isn't the job for you?? Nice place to sit and have a local Washington glass of wine in between flights. This time I had the sparkling wine and I did not like it. I should have known because I'm not a fan of that particular winery. Next time I would get it. Another time before I got a Riesling that good. I had better service this time. Came here using my SEA Visitor's Pass while waiting for a friend to arrive. They're pretty understaffed. They have barcodes on the tables but we're advised not to use them for ordering, only for reviewing the menu. So we're condemend to wait for the lone server who's circling the floor like a busy bee trying to make sure everyone's happy. The most common patron appears to be the weary traveller whose flight was delayed. That makes sense. The wine I had was delicious, and I saw its label pop up at other various points the following weekend, which is uncanny. The wines overall on the menu tend to be pricier, which is not a surprise for an airport business. It was very drinkable, but sorry Washington, not up to the paso Robles cabs. I got some sweetness. Trying a local astrea meadow gin. It is very nice. Would go well with something like elderflower. Wouldn't stand up to campari or fernet, but would probably work with aperol. A lot of nice floral notes, not overpowering juniper. Has a very mellow lingering floral finish, I like it. Also, the crostini had garlic and a strong herb taste that did not go well with the goat cheese drizzled with honey (or the other cheeses for that matter). The cheese was not that great. Although the food was not bad, the service was terrible. Of five dishes ordered, three were wrong. The waitress had come over to our table to take our order but then when the orders were wrong, told us that we should have ordered online to make it easier on her. She didn't apologize that the order was completely wrong and said she forgot. She left the wrong dish on our table before correcting it and then charged us for the wrong order because we did not refuse it (although we said it needed to be corrected). Absolutely no customer service - seat yourself, order yourself through a QR code, etc. - and you have to tip before you receive your order. My drink came in a beer glass (unacceptable for a $22 drink) and only after the server taking my drink on a tour of the restaurant despite the table number being indicated on my order. Only one straw despite two drinks and only one set of silverware for a platter I was obviously sharing. Waiter/server (if you can even call them that) left so quick I couldn't ask for a second set and never returned. Pretty awful considering their minimum preset tip is 18%. Definitely would not have tipped in advance as the self order system requires if I had known how terrible the service would be. Wine options are abundant, food not so much. I don't know about other travelers, but anything seafood does not sound like a good idea before flying. Absolutely awful. The steak sandwich looked like an Arby's roast beef but with even less meat. They have only open face sandwiches which is an excuse to give you less food while still charging the same price for a normal sandwich. The chicken sandwich is a sad miniature chicken breast with random bits of Brie that looked like a toddler spit out what they didn't want. A single margarita was almost $20. Avoid at all costs.
