Excellent upscale Redmond location. I have stayed at this hotel number of times. Excellent professional staff. They even memorized my last name. Every time I check in they are well prepared. Valet staff are nice, friendly and fast. I had steak at the resturant with my colleagues. It was very well prepared. The chef actually came to our table to make sure we were satisfied. The hotel is a walking distance to other resturants and bars. The parking is pricey but I guess because of the location. Highly recommended. read more

I have stayed at this location many times. The rooms are a bit dated but always clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they greet you as you enter and say goodbye as you leave, and are very helpful. The bar staff is very attentive and the drinks are great. The bar area is pretty large, you can find a seat easily even when there's a large group gathered. They offer a small selection of local beers to purchase by the bottle to take to your room as well. The location is phenomenal as there are so many restaurants nearby to choose from. The exercise room is more than adequate, much better than most hotels, and there are walking trails nearby. I have never had a noise complaint at this location. You are far from a main road and never hear traffic. I love this location. read more

When we lived in Vancouver, BC we had three weekend destinations we loved getting away to, Victoria, BC, Whistler, BC, and Redmond, WA. The Redmond Marriott Town Center is the perfect home base for a blend of weekend activities. From the Marriott you can ride your bikes along the Sammamish River to Woodinville and sample the many wineries, brewery, and restaurants that make their home here. Evenings back at the Marriott are typically filled with fireside drinks in the Lobby, a soak in the pool, or a walk across the street to Redmond Town Center's cornucopia of restaurants, stores, and movie theaters. We travel both for work and leisure extensively and almost always choose Marriott for their service and heavenly beds. This Marriott stands out for some of the most attentive and pleasant service we've ever experienced. From helping us load and unload our bikes to storing them for the weekend, to recommending sights and bike trails nearby their friendliness is unsurpassed. We've stayed here every Spring or Fall for the past three plus years, and although we've recently moved to Arizona, plan on returning before too long. If you can, stay for the weekend brunch - complete with omelette station, this little secret is not your typical hotel buffet - and don't forget to quietly sneak off with an extra Marriott croissant - they're amazing! We had guests (family) in town for our wedding at the nearby courthouse. They enjoyed their stay at the hotel and the time rolled around for the ceremony. An hour beforehand, the judge called us to say that the courthouse was closed (!) due to a scare (someone mailed them some powder). In a panic, I called the Marriott and explained that we needed a room for a ceremony. After a minute's hesitation, they rallied around, offered us a choice of three rooms to use and even provided complimentary celebratory drinks. I love this place. It was clean and wonderful and the staff beyond helpful. I have no complaints towards the room as it was clean, fresh linen and the a/c worked its magic as soon as we turned it on. The staff was engaging and helpful and late at night we realized we were going to need creamer for our coffee and more towels... the guy brought us everything with a smile and brought us ladies a wonderful treat.......CHOCOLATE!!!! He just made 3 new best friends... that and well he was quite the cutie! We had gone to a concert earlier and had walked back to the hotel quite early in the morning the night staff were dolls and asked us if we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone here was pleasant, helpful and had a genuine smile at every turn. I can and will recommend this place to anyone needing a place in Redmond. I will be back!!!! read more

Stayed a night with the family. The staff was very nice. I will definitely give them that. The room was very small. We had 2 beds and the room was for 4 of us. It felt a little crowded. The bathroom had no privacy. If you are using the bathroom and someone wants to leave the room, you have to open the bathroom door in order to open the room door. We did like how big the tv was and that we could sign into our Netflix on the tv during our stay. No free WiFi btw. read more

Very nice gentleman at the front desk in the evening; young girl at the desk clueless!! Expensive - doesn't include parking!! During the day there is on-street parking and a municipal parking garage, however you cannot park there overnight which is why the hotel has a cornered market. Only $5 difference between the self-park and valet. The rooms are small and the "wall" safe is bolted to the floor...wierd and difficult if a person can't bend down. Counter tops were dirty and looked as if they hadn't been wiped down for quite a while. We also found a Trader Joe grocery bag in the closet. There was no robe, although there was an empty hanger with a hang-tag saying the robe was for use during the stay and we would be charged $75 if it was missing. (Did not report the this to the front desk - hope we're not charged!) Bathroom OK - not spotless like it should be - and the soaps/shampoo, etc....awful smell....sickening really....cannot describe it except to say it sure isn't citrus. read more

Called in to get some information about hotel accommodations for the Washington brew festival this upcoming weekend. The lady who helped me was not only rude and unhelpful but she hung up on me! We travel frequently and I will never stay at a Marriott again. There are a few other hotels in the area that I would rather take my business to so that is what I will be doing. I intend to make my opinion on this location known while I'm at the festival so hopefully others will not be treated this way next year (hopefully the festival will coordinate with a more reputable hotel for next year). read more

This was one of the worst experience I ever had at this price of a hotel. I was seriously disappointed. First off there is no where to park and cost $25 a night to valet a park which is a rip off since you are at a shopping center. Second the staff was the rudest people I have ever encountered at a hotel in my entire life. I will never stay here again and will never recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

So...the location is somewhat out of the way if you are looking for something near Seattle...but, if you are sticking to the Eastside, this location is a solid choice. Clean facilities, tons of parking and overnight parking doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's located in the town center so there are shopping options if you want to get out of your room. There's not much of a nightlife in Redmond but Bellevue is just a short drive away with Seattle just a bit further west. Staff was friendly and fast. read more

I have to agree with the other reviews here, the staff is extremely accommodating. Their flexibility makes up for a somewhat less than stylish hotel. This place is great for a business traveler. It's clean, the rooms are a decent size and it's reasonably priced. The bar and restaurant closed somewhat early, around 11pm, which wasn't great for me because I got in late, but there's a convenience area where you can get snacks (oops, initially I wrote "snakes" instead of "snacks." I doubt they actually have snakes but I guess you could ask.) and charge it to your room. I'm a big fan of the staff because they were very conscientious when they didn't have to be. I had asked the concierge if they knew where I could buy Fran's chocolates, which is a local chocolate maker. By the time I came back to the hotel the next evening a different person than I had originally asked, found me and gave me a list of places I could go to buy the chocolates. That's service! My one beef is that you have to pay for Internet access. read more

My husband and I were recommended to stay at this Marriott by a family member while we were visiting over the holiday season. We had originally wanted to stay at the Waterfront in Seattle, but being that we were not that familiar with how far apart everything we wanted to partake it was this was a much better choice. The location is awesome as you've got several stores, coffee shops, and a movie theatre all within steps of the front door of the Marriott. We didn't try the restaurant, although it looked good, because we were mainly with family or dining elsewhere. The staff was great--friendly, helpful, and always welcoming each time we came "home" from a trek around the Seattle area. We had heard that the rooms on the upper floors had undergone a major updating--just like the lobby area and restaurant have had (see the photo I took). Unfortunately, our room was on the 5th floor, and it doesn't seem like our particular floor has had much attention paid to it in years. It literally took over 5 minutes each night for the water out of the sink to become even luke warm. The decor was a bit tired. All-in-all, it was fine for our purposes as we were mostly in and out quite a bit. We do stay in a lot of Marriotts as we have a timeshare, so we are very well aware what the typical Marriott property is like. We'll definitely stay here again and try the restaurant the next time. I stayed at the Marriott/Residence Inn based in Redmond over the weekend. When I first entered the room, it seemed fine to me. Upon further inspection, making sure that everything is up to standards, under the bed being vacuumed, tops of mirrors and pictures being dusted, hairs removed from surfaces and showers, finger prints wiped down. And to check if there where stains on the linens! Upon my inspection I found many of these things. As I had already paid for the room, I stayed. I took pictures of everything I found as a way to document. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted that this is the state they chose to leave the room in upon guest arrival. As someone who works on a cruise ship in the housekeeping department, I am always looking for things like these wherever I stay. I went any room I stay in to be up to good standards Again, as someone who works in housekeeping I would NEVER, EVER leave one of my cabins in the state I found my room. read more

Attended a conference: very well catered but I would have liked coffee/tea/hot water during lunch. Only available beverages were iced tea, soda and water. Parking : $16 for self parking?????? $27 for valet????? Really? You get the self parking rate for valet during the conference but this is clearly taking advantage of guests. There is free parking throughout the shopping center. Did not interact with staff. Bathrooms were well maintained. The conference rooms run on the colder side which is typical. Located conveniently in Redmond Town Center shopping center. It's not an enclosed mall so dress appropriately. read more

Very nice looking place with very helpful staff. The facilities were just average as there is no onsite dinning (although plenty near by in the Town Center) and the pool is outside. Probably only gets used a month or two a year. Rooms were a bit on the cozy side but adequate for a short stay. The Häagen-Dazs they sell at the lobby is pretty good. Stayed here for Microsoft interview. Their room service food is also awesome. I like the steak and onion dips. read more

It's a nice hotel but the staff is really rude. Like they're nice at check in but if you need anything after that they act dismissive towards you or like they're mocking you and acting condescending towards you. I'm paying $315/night to stay here and they acted like it was a huge hassle to have to scan my Clif Bar that I was buying from the food section in the lobby. read more

Stay out of the Restaurant at this hotel. We had Halibut and Beef Ribs, absolutely disgusting! Should of known after being the only one's there on a Saturday evening we shouldn't of took the leap. Halibut was rubbery and the mashed potatoes were cold and not cooked along with the vegetables. Had better food out camping from a dry freeze pack! Priced way too high for sub par food. This is a hotel that puts their employees and policies before their customers. A couple of weeks ago my husband stayed at this hotel for a business trip. His company booked and paid for the rooms. Upon my husband's arrival the front desk person asked if he wanted to give them a card for incidentals. He said yes, gave him his debit card and nothing else was said. He stayed at the hotel from Sunday-Wednesday and incurred no "incidentals" during that time. Upon his arrival home, he checked his bank account and found he had been charged $250 in overdraft fees because Marriott had put a hold of $75/day on his card. - a total hold of $300! Obviously, we were on the phone immediately with Marriott and our bank. The bank was completely understanding. Without much more than an explanation they credited our account of $100. The remaining $150 would have to be worked out with Marriott. Our first conversation was horrendous. The only answer to our questions from the "Front Desk Manager's" mouth was "I don't know." I couldn't take that any longer so I said I would call back on Monday and speak with someone else. We were asking Marriott to reimburse us the $150 as my husband was never told about the hold that would be placed. My husband's debit card is not regularly used and he always keeps a low balance. Therefore, had they said they would be putting a hold of $75/day he would have obviously declined due to insufficient funds. In short, we did talk to some individuals who were understanding of our plight. They were responsive and friendly. However, in the end, all we heard was that their employees are fully trained to provide an explanation the fee to their customers. (Definition: We believe our employee not you)Then they offered us 5000 points on our Marriott Rewards Card (that we never use because we rarely travel and stay in hotels) and an upgrade on our next stay (which will never happen). Even with this explanation they said there was nothing else they could do for us. Yea, right. Thanks so much Marriott for really listening and really wanting us as a loyal customer. read more

My family and I were in town for a festival and stayed here for the weekend. The rooms are very clean and the staff is always eager to answer any questions you may have. I've had problems with noisy people during the night at other hotels but not here. It was very quiet all night long. A wonderful place to stay. read more

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary this past weekend. We got a good deal on Priceline. We mentioned that it was our anniversary when we checked in and when we returned from dinner, there was a bottle of local wine and a plate of cheese and crackers in our room. Which was a nice touch. The bed was very clean and very comfortable (we check beds carefully because we have had a bug issue at other hotels in the past). The location is great for exploring Redmond and/or Woodinville, which has a great beer and wine scene. Other things we liked included the shower head, which provided good water pressure, and the workout room which was well equipped and included TVs at each of the cardio machines. Only little touches kept it from being a 5 star experience. When we checked in, the in-room coffee supplies had not been restocked (no cups, no regular coffee, no cream). The workout center also had no cups for the water cooler. These are small things. Overall, our experience was positive and we would go back. read more

This staff at this hotel was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Claire, the wedding advisor, created a breakfast voucher for our guests, and she set up a lane for the shuttle bus that we had rented for our son's wedding. She was very organized and detail oriented. She ensured that there were a variety of foods on the breakfast buffet for our guests. She also ensured that the goody bags that my wife had created were distributed to our guests upon their arrival. Our guests told us that the proximity to shops and restaurants in the center of Redmond made their stay more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

I never really spent a night here but when the mother in law gets frisky ill come on down ! I only tried they're restaurant a couple times my favourite meal of all time is the rib sliders they taste like they been on the barbecue pit and I love that taste sooooo much so if your a fan of baked, gourmet , barbecue pit taste kinda stuff then I say you should eat here for a good ol time . Also they're computers are a little disappointing you can't really click on all Images lets say your looking to print a image you have to go to like a website maybe tumblr or something to go print it out alittle complicated with the lobby computers but other then that pretty good read more
