They took the time to meet with us in person beforehand to make sure it was a great fit and to fully understand what we needed to feel comfortable leaving our home and pets in their care. During our trip, Keiko took amazing care of our golden retriever and two cats, as well as our home. She sent frequent updates and lots of pictures of our happy, relaxed pets, which gave us so much peace of mind while traveling. It was clear that Keiko genuinely loves animals. We came home to a spotless house and very happy animals. As if that wasn't enough, Keiko even left homemade dog treats in our freezer -- above-and-beyond! Well since I had no choice I had to call an errand running business and after two weeks of phone interviews with several companies I finally settled on Helping Hand Errand Services. I chose this company because the owner offered the right price, availability and friendly attitude someone like me needed. I was very worried that first day about what she would say when she saw and unfortunately smelled my house. As it turns out I had nothing to worry about. The owner Sylvia came in with the biggest smile on her face and she reassured me that life was going to get better, and it has!!! After years of living under my things that I could never find and the nice stuff I had getting ruined and broken from years of neglect she changed all that. After several months of organizing (at my slow pace) the house is now neat and clean and I was finally able to let go of a lot of useless things I didn't need. I am eating better, I feel better and my appearance has changed. Sylvia even helped remodel my bathroom so I could use my shower and toilet again (yes I said again). We are planning a large yard sale for the summer so we can clear out the house even more and I am very excited about the future. My…read moreprevious person cancelled the day before so I was left scrambling to find care for my Bailey. Angie was so friendly and willing to take Bailey even at a moments notice. I dropped Bailey off on my way to the airport a bit nervous hoping Bailey didn't think I just abandoned her. Angie reassured me while on the trip by sending pictures and videos of the pampered pooch treatment Angie provides. So relieved and so thankful for Angie. Karin was incredibly patient and dedicated to earning our dog's trust, meeting her many times before staying overnight to make sure our dog felt comfortable. We love that Karin is so attuned to our dog's body language and has made such an effort to understand her unique personality and needs. Karin recently did her first week-long overnight sit at our house, and she was very communicative, keeping us updated with photos and notes on how our dog was doing. We felt so reassured and confident that our dog was in good hands! We came home to a happy, relaxed dog who had clearly been very well cared for in our absence. I caution anyone against using Debbie Fish for house/pet sitting. I used her a few years ago and…read morewhen I returned from my trip, my neighbors told me she had people at my house a few times while I was gone. She never had permission to have anyone in my home with my animals. Total violation of my trust, privacy and the safety of my pets and home. Then she left us a nasty note because we didn't have cable. She also posted on her public Facebook page that she was leaving my home for several hours, gave my first name and town (not hard for a crook to look up!). While at my house she once told me she was late getting back to another house where she was caring for dogs and that they would have gone to the bathroom in the house by that time. It is very stressful for dogs to have to soil their home - I wonder if those owners knew. And when I had her come to let my dogs out once during the day, I came home to find vomit full of dirt all over. I had told her not to leave my dogs outside alone for even a moment. She tried to tell me that my dog started eating dirt (sometimes she did this at certain times of the year and Debbie had been informed) and she ran inside and got cookies to get her to stop. There's no way my dog ate that much dirt in such a short period of time. When I turned on the tv that night, the tv was messed up (she'd screwed up the remote) so it was obvious what she was doing while she was supposed to be outside with my dogs. After those 2 negative experiences, I never called her again and would NEVER trust my animals or my home to this woman again! Now I also have cameras everywhere but if you want to take a chance with this person, be sure you have a camera so you know what is happening in your house with your pets.
