    Beef bryzol platter

Really delicious Polish food!! The restaurant is inside the Polish Home Association and is only open on Friday evenings. Make sure to email them to get your reservation set up. We loved the schabowy platter with gołąbki, polish sausage, pierogi (3 different fillings!), and sauerkraut, and the beef bryzol. I'd love to come back and try the pyzy and placki ziemniaczane. Everything is so flavorful and the portions are very generous. We also got drinks at the bar - a Polish beer and a Szarlotka (apple cake cocktail).

There are a few seats in there in a simple dine in sort of way. Clean, efficient. The food is freshly baked and incredibly consistent. Step inside and the air smells of warm bread baking with the faint sweetness of yeast. The eastern European ladies may be seen chatting it up behind the glass front display counter -- a showcase of their variously-filled delectable piroshky. The salmon shape is delightful but so are the perfect little roses and bows on their other buns. I was well contented with the spinach piroshky -- a beautiful gift-box-style presentation with freshly made, satisfying bite. I would bring any visitor to Seattle here for the famous Piroshky experience. I can't wait to return for some traditional honey cake and poppy seed rolls next. You can tell they are authentically prepared, and reminiscent of a hole-in-the-wall, family-run Deli in an older city like New York--except in "new" Seattle it is ensconced in the insufferable sterility of the rectilinear glass and steel modern abominations that pass for "architecture". Conveniently located to the Swedish hospital complex next door. Bus stop from downtown a block away.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE COLOMBIAN NO VAYAS AQUÍ SI ERES…read moreCOLOMBIANO I recently went to this establishment for the Colombia vs Uzbekistan game. They have SUPER unprofessional security. One of the guards happens to be my exes husband. We spent $250 on a mezzanine to be left alone, had a tab of $1,000+ just to come downstairs at the end of the game to be harassed by my ex that her husband Gabriel Garcia had called up. She instigated an argument, some words were exchanged as I was leaving and instead of security getting her under control they decided to side with her because her husband happened to be security for them. I had nothing but the up most respect for him and shook his hand first thing when I came inside. He still decided to instigate a fight, even though security is there to do the EXACT opposite. I've never seen him before there the last couple of times I've been, goes to show how well they do their background checks because my man is a wannabe onlyfans model. I was upset because security wasn't hearing what I had to say so I was raising my voice to get my point across that this was simply a CONFLICT OF INTEREST and that they should review the camera footage to see what went down but they had NO INTEREST in doing so. Multiple witnesses told them that she instigated everything yet they didn't bother to listen. I guess they'd rather side with a stripper that has an open court case against her for a stolen car than someone who was putting money in their pockets. I encourage Baila Bar to find another establishment to do business with because they aren't the right people to do business with. I got blocked by Rhein Haus social media team for trying to apologize which I thought was odd. I was trying to do the right thing today and come in and talk to the manager and apologize to their security detail AGAIN since I already had on Wednesday. I would suggest going to Don Lucho's or El Callejon!

The chicken tika masala puts every other version I've had to shame, rich with visible herbs. The rice is fluffy, the meats are well seasoned. I love the lamb! The owners check on diners and are happy to explain dishes. The walls are adorned with beautiful fabric tapestries and the interior has a cozy feel. There were a few other people at 11:30am We asked if they do lunch buffet as I didn't see any self serve food. The staff said they offered in the past but not today.. it might come back in 2 weeks? We ordered hummus, garlic naan, fish masala and special kebabs without lamb which was accommodated per our request. The food even the side veggies were really good, we all liked everything. I like this place for good quality fresh ingredients that I don't feel overstuffed. It's probably because the food is easy to digest? This doesn't happen with other Mediterranean and Indian food. I'd like to come back when they start lunch buffet again.
