Soooooooo good! Talk about tasty tasty treats. Staff is so friendly and a very chill place to wait out the rain or just hang out while you eat. They were playing the "Wicked musical" sound track and I knew I was home. Check this place out.

The piroshky here is ELITE. This is a small business shop, not to be confused with the larger Piroshky Piroshky chain. I got a beef cheese and mushroom and it was incredible. The bread was warm and toasty, and was a perfect shell for the gooey filling inside. It was all hearty and filling for a quick breakfast. It's perfect for a grab and go snack, and they have a huge case of piroshky options!

I'm a big fan of the salmon piroshki from Piroshky Piroshky in Pike Place. If that's the standard, then I'd have to unfortunately rate the salmon piroshki here a 2/5. They grabbed one off the shelf, tossed it in the microwave, then quickly toasted it in the oven. Maybe I came at a bad time when things weren't fresh, but it was around 1pm. The end product was warm and soft on the outside, but cold on the inside. I was wondering why it was so cold, turns out the center is just a big block of cream cheese that's lightly enveloped in some salmon. Not the greatest ratio of cream cheese to salmon, I just kept getting big bites of cream cheese. The bread surrounding everything also wasn't great. It was soft, airy, and very bland. No crisp toasted exterior or sweetness. For $9, these are also smaller and more expensive then the ones at Piroshky Piroshky. Overall, a dissatisfying experience given the high reviews I see here.

Piroshki pizza, Bavarian sausage, smoked salmon & cream cheese

Piroshki!! They look pretty good here so I decided to try a few myself. The Bavarian sausage one was just like a tasty humungo pig-in-a-blanket lol. The smoked salmon & cream cheese one had a tad too much cream cheese for my liking but I appreciated that there was a lot of salmon packed into the bread. Least favorite from the ones that I tried was the piroshki pizza one because there was way too much chopped pepperoni and the mushrooms seemed like they were from a can based on their slippery texture (not a fan of canned mushrooms). The bread for these piroshki was phenomenal. Thick and fluffy. The egg wash gave them such a pretty shine. This kind of bread would make stellar dinner rolls lol. Overall hit and miss with the piroshki fillings but the amazing bread makes me still recommend trying at least 1-2 piroshki here (perhaps there are some that I haven't tried that are much better).

I'm bummed I don't get to be in this area more often just so I can come to Piroshki on Madison. It's a cute, little shop off Madison in Seattle. There's limited seating & no parking at the facility. You would have to park across the street. They have plenty of flavor options from savory to sweet pastries. I ordered the potato, broccoli & cheese piroshki. My fiancé ordered the smoked salmon & cream cheese (fish shaped) & the rice, chicken & mushroom piroshkis. All three of them were delicious! The well-seasoned & garlicky flavor on the insides plus a soft, warm bread was a perfect combination. The service was quick since their pastries are ready to serve from the case. It'll be on my list of places to stop by when I'm in the area.

Super tasty and easy to grab for breakfast or lunch on the go! Loved the shaped piroshkies especially -- super cute! The staff is very nice and always reminds you to stamp your freebie card

Strip of foil/metal found in filling

Been eating here for years. First time found a strip of aluminum in the filling of the piroshky. Probly stuck to blade as the chef finished cutting then got stirred into filling. Fortunately, i wasnt hungry enough to "inhale" my food and was able to sense it before swallowing. I'm sure it was a complete accident, but the chefs need to revise their process to I sure this doesn't happen again.

Napoleon like in childhood. I recommend everybody to try it

This is so authentic place! Reminded me my childhood food!!!! I was in the area at some medical building near by and decided to stop by. This time they had my favorite salmon & cream cheese! Absolutely delicious!!! I ask if napoleon was fresh and lady assured me it's very fresh and good they bake everything there daily!!! Dang, this cake was like in my childhood so fresh and yummy!!! This location is much better that we used to have on 3rd and also pike market ( they don't have lunch special or cakes) also that one always full of tourists. Last time I went there salmon piroshky had so little filling in it. This place on Madison it's much much better than pike place! I live on 2nd and pine and I am willing to go all the way uphill for this nice food!!! , !!!!

While I ultimately decided that I'm still a fan of the classic mocha, I'm glad I tried it--it made for a unique coffee experience. Another nice surprise is that Hagen also has a full bar, so it's a great place to return later in the day if you're in the mood for a cocktail instead of coffee. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, making the experience even more enjoyable. Key Points: - Iconic khachapuri "bread boats"…read more- minor drawback: limited coffee customization options and only forks available The Fam and I stopped by Skalka for some breakfast/brunch before perusing the rest of Seattle during my birthday week. I saw it on a few YouTube food influencer videos and was really impressed by what I saw. The their staple is their Georgian khachapuri. They're the iconic bread "boats" filled with cheese, butter, egg, and whatever comes along the variety you ordered. TBH, I actually thought they looked like little volcanoes, which is something I figured The Little One would enjoy. What we ordered: - Stroganoff: one of the popular items listed on the yelp page. The beef was rich, succulent and comforting, with a creamy, savory filling. The pickles added a bit of bright, tangy contrast to balance the richness. - Adjaruli, the classic version with cheese, butter, and egg. To me, this seemed like the plainest version, but I figured The little One would be more likely eat this because she hates anything that resembles a sauce or toppings. Both dishes were fantastic. The bread boat sort of reminded me of a pizza crust: crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and perfect for tearing off and dipping into the cheesy center. The Little one did especially like the crust since she's a big pizza-crust fan. Surprisingly, getting her to eat the cheese and egg was tougher, as she usually likes those. I guess that's just being a kid? Inconsistent fluctuations of opinions and likings? The Mrs. and I happily finished everything she left behind. The restaurant itself is a small, casual spot with self-service kiosks for ordering and open seating. Nothing fancy, but it's efficient. We also appreciated that they had high chairs available, making it easy to visit with a child. We did see other families with kids there too. My only gripes: - once you've submitted your kiosk order, making changes isn't really possible. The staff is so busy going in and out of the kitchen, that you really don't have any opportunity to flag them down. We actually wanted to make one minor change to our order, but by the time I managed to talk to someone about it, she informed me that the order was already being made. - If you order coffee, you need to decide on cream, half-and-half, and sugar ahead of time, seemingly preset amounts. It's entirely prepared in the kitchen, not self serve, and you can't exactly customize to your liking. - Only forks were available. No spoons, no knives. Knives would have been helpful for cutting through the thicker bread crust. Those are very minor complaints, though. The food was excellent, the concept is unique, and the meal was memorable. Won't dock any points off there.

It wasn't necessarily anyone's fault, but if you order with a person this doesn't happen. Toilet is broken in restroom. But the FOOD! Was amazing. They serve only one type of dish, which is like a bread boat with cheese inside and or other filling. I got the one with spinach and cheese - it is enough for 2 ppl but I finished it on my own as a very hungry pregnant lady. We also got 2 more to go - one with beans and bacon (Lobiani) and the other with beef stroganoff. Both were delicious, although the beans & bacon one has a bit of spice. I would 100% recommend eating in person though, because everything is perfect and melty when it's fresh.
