THEY'RE GIVING THE ILLUSION OF CONVENIENCE, BUT PADLOCK ALL THEIR VACANT UNITS THAT THEY ASSIGN ONLINE WITH A FACILITY PADLOCK THAT REQUIRES AN ON SITE EMPLOYEE TO REMOVE ANYWAY!!! If you rent a unit online, you do not have IMMEDIATE ACCESS as SecurCare Self Storage claims. In my case, I rented online (w/ 3 HOURS access time left before closing at 10pm), got an email stating "You can access your space immediately using the unit number and gate code listed above" (see photo). Confirmed new customer at about 6:48pm. Showed up to the facility around 7pm. My gate code FAILED to open the gate. No onsite employee to help. Took me an hour and 2 phone calls just to get inside the gate. THEN, I went to my assigned unit and it was FACILITY PADLOCKED! Made a 3rd call and they offer two more vacant units WHICH WERE ALSO FACILITY PADLOCKED. IT SEEMS TO BE THEIR REGULAR PROCEDURE TO LOCK AVAILABLE UNITS BUT CLAIM IMMEDIATE ACCESS; A PROCEDURE THAT THEY DO NOT DISCLOSE. I'm losing 2 days that I paid for because they failed to state my unit will be locked until someone can open it Friday. Can you imagine coming into town with a full U-haul under the terms that you will be given "immediate access" only to be told you have to wait 2 days because there's no one onsite to remove their padlock! Daily U-haul fees accruing because of their dishonesty. Verbally, they also use the word "RESERVED", but I began RENTING the unit when I signed the lease, which they also use RENTAL in writing. My time started ticking WEDNESDAY and now I have to wait until FRIDAY for an ONSITE employee because tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Can't believe they haven't been called out for this before. IMMEDIATE ACCESS? Lies. Btw, this number 909-217-7850 is hard to navigate to a human. I know, because I had to call them 4x in my first 2 hrs as a new customer. Worst place ever!!! You can't call them! You go in circles with automated phone calls and they raise the rent every 8 months without sending you an email or notice. Bullshit place! I also found rat droppings in my storage unit. Picking up my Rv today and found a better place cleaner and safer ! Also the kids throw rocks over the fence from the wash and damage you Rv. The guy at the counter says they are not responsible! WTF!!! If you like to be treated like a number or milked dry for you money then you'll love this place. I have been a tenant at this storage facility for at least 3 years, maybe 4. Ryan has always been very helpful. All of the staff is very welcoming. I have never had a problem with any critters any other animals in my things. I would definitely recommend this business read more

Rented here for a year and a half, paid $200 a month and had to replace everything inside the storage because they have a rat infestation. All my belongings had rat pee and dropping they ate through my mattresses, washers and driers, every box had holes and droppings. We set our own traps inside our unit since their pest control person sucks, clearly. We gladly took the 2 rats we caught to the office and they still couldn't do nothing about it. Perhaps change pest companies if you see the problem isn't getting any better! read more

Worst place ever they say they have kind friendly staff but that's all a lie. They have no heart I drove 3 1/2 hours in traffic and like a dick so I could make it by 7 and got here at 701 and the gate wouldn't open. I even called before 6 pm and told them My situation and they couldn't offer any assistance. Not sure if you here is a on site manager but it sure does seem like it. Hit the intercom button for help still haven't got help.left messages no return call. Why couldn't they leave the side gate open for me. It would of took 2 second. Update in response to the owner: Here is a photo screen shoot of my payment receipt when I first rented the space, since you couldn't locate me in your system. The storage is closed now, can you make sure of that Rented here for a less than a year. I got a 6 month "special" rate then after the 6 months I was told it would the normal rate. Which I was fine about for 6 months they they kept their word of being charged only 115. After the 6 month, my rate was 160 (which I didn't have a problem with as I was aware of this increase when I signed up). But this rate only lasted for 2 months! Now I'm on my 9th month of rental and the rate is now 180. I paid the fee online as it was due the first of the month, then sent an email listed on the site inquiring about the increase. And still no response til this day, email sent more than likely the first few days of July. I called a few days ago, and no one answers. I call again, and no one answers. So I finally left a message for a call back, and still no call back. read more

I hate leaving negative reviews but unfortunately something has to be said. I purchased a storage locker in March of '21 and was told that there is a 10 day grace period for late payments. I admit that I have been late but have always been within the grace period. EVERY SINGLE TIME I or the other individual on the account has visited, our gate access is always denied. And every single time we have to go in (bills already been paid) and they have to unlock it. I paid Mays rent late on the 7th and didn't visit until the week of May 24th and wouldn't you know it, I got denied. Went in the office again to tell the male associate, again, and again I was told like every time "it should be fixed now." I then paid June's rent early the same week I visited in May and guess what, access denied again. Again I go back in the office and now let a female associate know how irritating this is. She looks up whatever information on her computer and tells me that sometimes if you're late the system won't let you in and the system will lag 1-2 days even when the accounts now current....but I tell her if the bills been paid and is within the grace period then what's the problem. The 1-2 days thing is bs because since paying the late payment for May I haven't visited until the week of May 24th which well after 48 hours, two weeks even! I haven't always been late and I still get denied access. She tells me she's reset everything. I ask her, what happens if I return, and since I'm already paid til the end of June and this happens again...she tells me they can give me another code, and this isn't happening to anyone else, and someone is supposed to come fix something on the gate maybe that's why it's giving issues...but I can call them ahead of time before I'm coming so they can make sure the gate opens. Very upset right now. Packed everything yesterday so I could start moving everything in today and low and behold they have not removed the lock. ( yes almost lost it, but I paid it off) I get there and it's still locked. So now what? I have to take Monday off ( Lose a days pay) move everything by myself because all the help I have today will not be available tomorrow. Unbelievable what people due. I know they heard us. They live on site and still would not help out. Dont trust them. There are plenty of other storage places. Go that route or be disappointed. read more

6 AM and... we can't get into the facility to start moving our stuff out; before the heat comes. I should of expected this. Our time at this storage has had nothing but issues. Rates have gone up almost every other month, whether it be the insurance charge or the actual rate. This latest issue, we gave them notice that we were moving and they told us not to pay until we moved because their system does allow for 1/2 payments. We called them last night to pay and confirm all was good for this morning. They said we were good and took our payment because we planned to be gone before the office opened at 9. Now we are stuck. Wasting valuable cool hours of day light, money for our moving crews, and we miss deliveries from the vendors we bought new furniture from; most importantly the mattress we are supposed to sleep on tonight. These people can't keep their operation together and are costing us big time. read more

This is a great storage facility. They are very friendly and helpful. They are always give me the best deal in town. I have been using this facility for 10 years. Great location especially with the new strip mall across the street. This is a great facility. It is clean secure and staff is always polite and professional. Their prices are definitely some of the best in the area and their free truck rental is definitely a big help. They may not have the name of some of the bigger storage places but they don't need it cause they're number one in my book. Give them a chance you won't be sorry. read more

Their monthly rate keeps going up. When we first came in the lady told us it would be $90 then when they charged the card that month they pulled $100. My husband called and she said it was the taxes(that she did not mention when we specifically asked if that would be the monthly total) been using this storage place for a year now and rate continues to go up. Will be glad when we get our stuff out of here. read more

GO ANYWHERE ELSE YO STORE YOUR STUFF! This place is HORRIBLE since they changed owners. They literally raise the rent every few months ( I started at $99/mo for a small unit and was up to over $200 in 1 year and 3 months. They also have a mandatory insurance charge even if you already have homeowners insurance that covers your unit. I'm all for a business making money but their business practices are GREEDY!! They don't enforce their own rules such as opening gate on time in the morning but they will surely kick you out if you are inside past closing time. Vacating this business was the best feeling ever! In return, I will remove the reviews and rescind my complaints with those agencies I mentioned on my postings. I am only seeking answers to my questions; 1. Do you a written policy with safeguarding my information? 2. Why do you need a fingerprint (you state per a program)?
