Lillian ensured me that they do not have a problem with theft or break-ins. My stuff was safe and everything was in fine condition when I moved out last week; it was dusty, but that's not on the storage place. That just happens when you've got stuff sealed up for a few months. However, my biggest issue is the lack of communication and how inconsistent the customer service is. The gentleman who I first spoke with upon moving in for the first time was incredible! Super sweet and polite. Incredibly professional. However, whoever I spoke with the last few times including the day I moved out, was pretty rude to me despite me keeping my tone very level and polite. I moved into my unit May 19th and then apparently the locks were changed SIX DAYS AFTER. I was an hour away seeing as I had gone home for the summer and was only using the unit in order to store stuff that I keep in my dorm/apt for the few months between school wrapping up and starting back up. I didn't know the locks had changed until I tried to access my unit in order to move out in August. That's 3 months in which I could've been informed that the locks were changed, but I received no phone call, no email, no letter, nothing telling me that the locks had been changed. But I did get a letter informing prices would be going up in August/September (which I'll give them props for that), so it's not like they had no way to get in touch with me or that they tried to get in touch with me and couldn't. Instead, I get to look like a total idiot trying to get into my unit and not knowing why my key isn't working. I even called corporate, since the office was closed given that I was clearing out my unit on a Sunday, who was trying to help me troubleshoot why it wouldn't work; the district manager happened to live right up the street so even she stopped by to try to help me (shout out to Anna, you were super kind!). I had to come back the next day to clear out my unit and was told that I should've known the locks had changed and I should've picked up the new keys since they were changed on May 27th. The move out policy is not clear on their site either. The site allows you to submit an online notice and tells you that once it's submitted that the location will reach out to you with more information once the move out date gets closer. Apparently, and I don't know if this is for all sites or just this one, only corporate sees the online move out request and not the location you're moving from. So corporate has record that you intend to move out but not your store. You're supposed to call them 10 days ahead of the move out date to let them know, but that's not listed anywhere. The prices also recently went up, so while it's not as crazy as some of the other units, it's still about a $20 increase. For mine it was going up from about $51 to closer to $71. So if you want a safe place to keep your items but don't mind possibly being locked out of your unit and having inconsistent customer service, go here. read more

Liliana is very rude. Her attitude is horrible she will argue with you and scream at customers. She does not have any customer service manners. She will sit and watch you go through your storage unit after you payed for it. Very unprofessional I've worked with many other Extra Space storages and this is the only time I've had a problem. I will not be coming back to this location.She also denied me the bathroom even though it has no sign that says employees only. read more

Came in for a quote. Walked into the office where two people were sitting. No acknowledgement whatsoever, didnt get greeted. Literally stood there and no one wanted to help. Didnt even want to be there so we walked out. It's common courtesy to greet someone, especially a potential customer. Will never make business. read more

Reserved a unit online today, received a prompt call and was able to go in today and get everything taken care of, the facility is clean, and the service was great I felt comfortable asking all the questions I had, got very detailed answers. I was showed both units I was interested in and was able to decide on the best one for me. Plus they have a special right now where its first month free couldn't ask for better! I really like the facility, it's accessible, clean, and the staff is very accommodating, speaking especially of Annie, who definitely tried to meet my needs and did. Annie made my move very easy and acted more of a friend than someone trying to take my money. I would recommend this facility to anyone and I would definitely do business with them again. I just wish I had gate access 24/7, but I also understand it is for safety and protection of my things so I can't be too mad. Really nice straight forward, really good deals and convenient pay. Hours are from 6-8 no 24 hours access but overall all good.

I previously had my stuff in a storage unit here at extra space but it was time to move my stuff out into a smaller unit. Based on the old unit Annie was able to give me the perfect unit that was an exact fit for what was going into it. I have to say it was a great experience because she made sure I got the best deal possible trying to save me money. Jess was there the next day to help out and they made sure I went through all the proper paperwork and it was completely painless because the whole time we were just chatting like friends. If you need someplace to store either temporarily or long term I would definitely say go here there hours are like most storage facilities but you'll be lucky if you find the same hospitality. read more

After many months of complaints the roof still leaks. Owned by out of area lawyers and only MANAGED by Extra Space. The owners will not spend the money to fix the roof. Water has caused hundreds in damage and owners don't care. Their answer is I should have bought their overpriced insurance. My answer, no it is the responsibility of the facility to maintain the roof unless I'm paying for a unit with NO roof. Been at this facility over 20 years storing excess business inventory and treated like this. Would cost me hundreds, maybe a $1000 to move. read more
