    Chicken and carne asada taco
    Sasha N.

Tucked close to the busy main street through Sedona, near a good amount of construction, currently lies this food truck. It's basically a semi permanent set up, as they also have some covered seating and a salsa bar next to it, along with some parking spots. All the drinks have monk fruit which is not really my favorite thing in the world. They were also out of horchata when I got there, but when they have it, it's dairy free which is a positive. The tacos come with lots of toppings, and are not just plain street tacos, but still are on the pricier side and add up fast. The overall flavor was solid. The carne asada could have been a bit more tender. The chicken was good. I got two tacos but I think a third taco or a side would have filled me up more. The actual person who took the order was not the warmest of energies, a bit indifferent.

I had high expectations given the reviews and hype, but this one fell short. I ordered a combo with two tacos and a side: carne asada and the wild caught fish taco. The carne asada was overcooked and dry, which was disappointing. The battered cod, on the other hand, was much better--flaky, well fried, and paired nicely with a sauce. The elote was creamy and solid, and the watermelon agua fresca was just ok. Overall, it feels overpriced for what you get, likely because of the location. For tacos that are pretty average, it's a bit underwhelming. Meh.

Saw this place on instagram and decided to check it out. I got the carne asada taco it was $6.50 for 1, can't say it was worth it the meat was cold didn't taste fresh. My husband got the carne asada burrito but their fryer wasn't working so he had to get rice which he was sad about but my husband's meat was warm and seemed fresher. The watermelon agua Fresca was nice and refreshing.

Needed a quick and easy bite, but didn't want to go to a fast food or chain restaurant. This was the perfect spot! You can either dine in or get it to go, healthy and fresh ingredients and unique options which I love! Something different and exactly what I needed.

We ordered on their website and was given a pick up time. When we got there, we saw they were closed and cleaning up. Apparently, they ran out of food already and gave us a refund. They should've closed the online ordering so that we didn't waste our time. I decided to come back here and give it another go. This time, I ordered at an earlier time. I went with the taco combo and got the crispy cauliflower taco and carne asada taco with elote as a side. I was surprised how much steak was in the taco, but it was a bit chewy. The cauliflower was lacking in flavor as it seems they forgot the sauce on top of the cauliflower. Good overall, but improvements can be made.

Solid meal in Sedona. Perfect after a morning of hiking. I got the chicken bowl and it had a perfect amount of chicken, beans, and vegetables. I also got the watermelon agua fresca which was the perfect drink to go along with the meal. No complaints. People were nice, food was ready was quick. There are a few tables to sit at outside the food truck which is nice because it has a cover on top for a sunny day.

Pleasant service but the tacos didn't blow me away. The meat was dry and the overall flavor was lacking. The prices were also a bit high. 2 smaller Carne Asada tacos with a small size for just about $20.00 dollars is a bit steep to me.

Omg yum! So clean tasting and fresh. I had the cauliflower tacos and they were truly amazing. This really is quite the gem and I would 100% go back / almost did for a third taco haha. Thank you!

    Comfortable seating

The fish tacos are amazing. The cauliflower taco, veggie taco, and vegan nacho fries were good. I wanted to love the fries - the taste was good but they were unfortunately soft/soggy immediately when I was hoping for a little crispy-crunch with the fries. The new seating area is really nice and has sprayers when it's hot. The food came up quickly both times we were there.

Wonderful location. Beautiful places to sit down and enjoy the city from a higher point of view. The tacos were wonderful and exactly as they described. The best food place in Sedona by far

This taco truck is super cute, located just west of the fire department. You'll see the signs on the street and there is a little driveway with several parking spots. They have a little outdoor covered area to eat with about six picnic tables and string lights decorating and lighting above on the ceiling. There is a salsa bar and the staff is very friendly and kind. The young lady who took our order was very nice and welcoming. We are so glad they have vegan options! They have a couple of vegan taco options, a couple of burrito options and then even a vegan dessert and a few vegan sides!! So glad they cater to people with different diets! The food was so delicious! We can't believe we waited so long to come here my favorite was the cauliflower tacos and the magic school bus. I hope next time I come back, they don't change a thing! So good.

Fish taco, Elote (corn) and Carne Asada

We had three tacos. The Carne Asada tasted ok and a little tough. Had a hard time chewing it. The OG Buffalo was much better. Also had the fish taco and that was good and loaded. The sides we had were the fries and they were ok, and the corn (Elote) was pretty bland. No flavor at all. Service was fast and we sat outside on a picnic table under a canopy. There were about 6 tables total.

Cute Taco spot with great, organic tacos. There's a bit of construction around when we came but the spot is definitely open! Highly recommend the carne asada tacos. The tortillas are Delicious and everything leaves you feeling light and healthy! My friend got the burrito and he thought it was phenomenal as well. Elote was also delicious!! This place is definitely worth a visit, it's a bit hidden but i highly recommend checking it out. You can leave a review for a free taco or flan but i would have given them a 5 star regardless.

We started with the Prickly Pear Margarita and the Mango Margarita, and honestly, you can't go wrong with either. If you made me choose, I'd give a slight edge to the Prickly Pear Margarita. It had a subtle hint of strawberry that was absolutely delicious and so refreshing. But, then again, I loved the Mango Margarita, too. The fresh tortilla chips were fantastic, and every bite of our meal was excellent. I ordered the Tostada Platter with rice and beans, and it was incredibly filling and absolutely delicious. Be sure to watch my video to see how piled high it was. They have vegan options, as well, as seafood, burgers, salads. So, literally something for anyone. The service was wonderful. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hostess (who may have been the owner) made us feel right at home, and our server was friendly, charming, and checked on us at exactly the right times without ever being intrusive. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. And then there's the view... Wow! The panoramic views of Sedona are absolutely breathtaking. Request one of the many window tables, or enjoy the outdoor patio seating to take in the incredible scenery. They even welcome dogs (leashed) out on the patio and have quite a special menu for them: Burgers , Chicken, Steak and Salmon I've included photos and videos because when I looked it up on Yelp, it had great reviews, but I couldn't see enough photos to show how special it was inside. Hopefully you can see that here, because it's now one of my favorite casual restaurants in Sedona. We'll definitely be back!

You'll probably have to reserve pretty far in advance if you want one of those times. I was there after a long day of traveling, so I arrived pretty hungry. They have a small parking lot out front, but I wasn't able to find a spot there. Thankfully, there are nearby free parking lots as well. You might be thinking, won't you be rushed to have dinner since they close at 9? I had the same question, but apparently, even though they close at 9, each customer gets 1.5 hours to eat, so no issues if you have a late reservation. Ordered the Elote and Quesadilla de Costilla as appetizers. It took quite a while for them to come out, but the Elote was absolutely amazing. The tanginess of the lime goes really well with the spicy mayo and corn. I'd highly recommend it. The Quesadilla de Costilla was also fantastic. For my main dish, I ordered the Carne Asada. The steak was good, but I didn't like the dish too much overall. I definitely enjoyed the appetizers more. If I were to go back in the future, I'd most likely just order appetizers like the Elote and quesadillas. Those alone would be enough for me!

We finally flagged down another server and asked if he could send our server to us. It still took another solid five minutes before we saw him again and another five after that to return with our receipt. No apology for the delay, even a half-hearted one. The restaurant itself has a lot of character, it full of textures and colors, had a cute little fountain outside. It just feels homey and welcoming. The menu...is hella pricey for a tamale. I mean even with inflation these days I could get a tamale at most spots where I live for like half the price. I just told myself it's Sedona just except it lol so I went wild and got their extra special tamale with lots of topping to make it a more complete meal. I chose the chicken mole for my filling. I also got their dairy free horchata. First thing the horchata was delicious! Creamy, great texture, not to sweet, seasoned just right. Extra points for being dairy free as milk is not my bodies friend. The tamale however was a major let down. I was so close to just sending it back, but was on a time crunch and starving. The masa was so salty. The mole sauce was barely existent and had no complexity or flavor really. I didn't taste the chocolate or the Chile . Just blah. The toppings and horchata helped make it possible to consume despite the saltiness. So overpriced salty tamale gets 2 stars, ambiance 5, and horchata 5, which is why this place gets a three stars overall. I wanted to love this spot so bad, and maybe it was a bad day, or the wrong thing to get...but their name is literally tamaliza. Their tamale should have rocked my world.
