Tucked close to the busy main street through Sedona, near a good amount of construction, currently lies this food truck. It's basically a semi permanent set up, as they also have some covered seating and a salsa bar next to it, along with some parking spots. All the drinks have monk fruit which is not really my favorite thing in the world. They were also out of horchata when I got there, but when they have it, it's dairy free which is a positive. The tacos come with lots of toppings, and are not just plain street tacos, but still are on the pricier side and add up fast. The overall flavor was solid. The carne asada could have been a bit more tender. The chicken was good. I got two tacos but I think a third taco or a side would have filled me up more. I had high expectations given the reviews and hype, but this one fell short. I ordered a combo with two tacos and a side: carne asada and the wild caught fish taco. The carne asada was overcooked and dry, which was disappointing. The battered cod, on the other hand, was much better--flaky, well fried, and paired nicely with a sauce. We walked about 1/2mi from where we were parked to get to the setup. There are a decent number of tables, and they are under cover, which was nice! The young lad taking orders was really friendly. We ordered carne asada fries, a chicken burrito, and a watermelon agua fresca. The fries were bomb!!! They were loaded with toppings, and everything was really fresh. The burrito wasn't for me, but I prefer shredded beef to chicken, so that could be why! The agua fresca was perfectly refreshing as well. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality you're getting. We will definitely be back! read more

Lots of problems with my visit at this taco truck unfortunately. Firstly there's no menu on the truck at all forcing you scan a QR code which then leads you to order online. Because of this I order online. No one called any names saying my food was ready for quite a while which was a bit frustrating as it was ready but just sitting on a counter. Secondly the taco was said to be "huge" or bigger than average. In my personally opinion this is a pretty average taco. For 7 dollars I'd expect to fill me up a little bit but it was quite small to what I was expecting. Bright side is that it did taste good. read more

This taco truck is super cute, located just west of the fire department. You'll see the signs on the street and there is a little driveway with several parking spots. They have a little outdoor covered area to eat with about six picnic tables and string lights decorating and lighting above on the ceiling. There is a salsa bar and the staff is very friendly and kind. The young lady who took our order was very nice and welcoming. We are so glad they have vegan options! They have a couple of vegan taco options, a couple of burrito options and then even a vegan dessert and a few vegan sides!! So glad they cater to people with different diets! After a ten hour trip from Chicago I had been fasting all day. I asked for something to blow my mind and the reviews and cashier directed me to the chicken burrito bowl. No guac for me since I am avocado intolerant; weird things happen after thirty. There was no line and no wait! I was starving and grateful! Everything on the plate was fresh: The corn, seasonal squash, cabbage, etc. and the flavors were muy rica! I couldn't even taste the spiciness because it was all seasoned so well and provided the perfect balance of heat and flavor. It wasn't until after I was finished eating that I realized it had a hint of heat on the food. I didn't need water so don't be afraid of the spice. Being brand new to Sedona, this location provided a nice view of the sunset and the cacti reminded me immediately of where I was. I drove past Chipotle to support this local business. I highly recommend you do the same! Missing a star because there was a little grill bits and char on the freshly cooked veggies. This used to be my favorite place but they recently changed how they make their burritos. Instead of refried beans they now use whole pinto beans and they fall all over the place whenever I eat a burrito. They don't seem to put in any chipotle crema and not much tomato/onion/cilantro and guac. It's hard to eat so much meat and beans without other flavors and textures. Their burrito used to be delicious but I won't be buying them anymore. Total bummer! read more

The red and green salsas were equally excellent, had a spice but not too spicy, just great flavor. The food was fresh and had quality ingredients. I enjoyed that the veggie burrito didn't just have bell peppers and onions, it also included squash and zucchini so it was really filling. The horchata was excellent and sweet but not too sweet. I like that it was cashew milk so I enjoyed that it was dairy free, and you can tell it wasn't stale like other restaurants could serve.
