I've been getting my eyebrows done for the last 15 years. I have a high tolerance for pain, but a very low tolerance for cuts. This is the 2nd time that I have ever gotten cuts. And it was painful. I won't be going back here again. You should not be getting cuts via threading. read more

I came here 2 times before and was pleased with the way my brows came out. However, just went in today and was horrified by the way my brows were done. Having already been struggling with spareness and unevenness in my brows, I requested a clean up. While doing my brows, the employee recommended that instead of waiting for the other brow to grow out, she could make one like the other. I was okay with this because each brow individually was to my liking and the expectation was that the larger brow would have been threaded to look like the other. However, by the end both brows were half their original size, pencil thin! Not only are they pencil thin, they are not even the symmetrical. They were nearly gone and unfortunately I was mortified--still am. Growing brows, has been a lifelong struggle and I am disappointed to say the least. read more

They actually had their shop on South Street across from Target Greatland. I've been going there for a long time with Sonia. But after they moved to Towne Center, cost to thread eyebrows plus lips went up 35%. I'm not going there anymore because there are so many other places around Cerritos-Artesia that you can go and find a good skillful person for threading. read more

I get my eyebrows done here twice a month with either Seema or Kiki, they are really the only people I trust to clean up my eyebrows. Love how they don't over do it, and allow my brows to stay thick but polished. Would definitely recommend! If you get 10 threadings, the 11th is free! Neelam did a good job! She took her time and got all the hairs out that were visible to me. I got the full face threading here. It was $30. I was looking for an salon to cut my hair at the Cerritos Towne Center and ran into this Salon. The place was very clean and had several staff that specialize in different areas such as threading, nails, hair and facials. I satisfied with my hair cut, but what brought me back her was the nails. I brought my girlfriend here to do her nails a month later, because while cutting my hair I saw a customer receive such beautiful nails. My girlfriend loved the nails she got and I highly recommend it. The service was great and welcoming, and the results were well worth the price. read more

I've been coming to this place for years and see Shana who is amazing. She helped shape my crooked brows over time. Since I was diagnosed with breast cancer and lost my hair including eyebrows, I haven't been in for 10 months. Now that my hair is growing back, I decided to come in today. This was a momentous celebration for me to know that I am feeling well enough post chemotherapy to have my hair finally grow back. Unfortunately Shana was not in today and a short lady who resembled Shana (not her) did my brows. I am giving this review a 1 because she gave me super skinny eyebrows. I came in with brows and instead of just cleaning it up and perhaps shaping it as needed, she felt the need to leave me with super skinny 90's almost not there style eyebrows. When I told her it was too skinny, she blamed my eyebrow pencil fill. My drawing was thick, what made her think that she needed to take off more than half of my brows? Needless to say, my milestone of getting my brows done for the first time since I lost all my hair from chemotherapy was ruined. I left in tears. Don't do it! Don't come here unless you know your Brown technician. I've been here for years and I've never seen the girl who ruined my brows before. read more

this place is fairly new and I do not think a lot of people know about this place. I used to go to a different salon to get my eyebrows threaded, but after I've tried this place I love it so much better! My mom, friends, and brother all go here to get our eyebrows threaded and I know they love this place just as much as I do. To be honest, I've never tried any of their other services so this review is purely on my experience of their eyebrow threading. the cost is $5.99 and sometimes they'll throw in some specials. I always go to Irma. she is really sweet and she does an excellent job! I've been to other threading salons and she does the best on my eyebrows thus far. Prior to going to this place, I've noticed that after I've gotten my eyebrows threaded the hairs grow back (pretty apparently) within a week. However, once I tried this place and Irma threaded my eyebrows I noticed that the hair took a lot longer to grow back. I'm assuming it's because she really is taking the time to pull the hairs from the root. it's been 2 weeks since I have last gone there and my eyebrows still look fresh! I highly recommend this place for eyebrow threading. I can't review on the other services because, like I've said before, I haven't tried them. read more

i got my eyebrows done here all thaaaaa time..... irma soooooooo great. always always perfect job. never messed up my eyebrows like some other places i went. because apparently sometimes when u jacked up ur eyebrows, they wont even grow back on that particular spot. and u ended up with this some ridiculous shape on your face. but i love irma and her work. great job!!! :) read more

I made an account specifically for this establishment. I have always used Yelp for general impressions on stores/restaurants/etc, but nothing has urged me to make an account to voice my experience until now. Please read the entirety of my review before responding to it. Today's visit was only my third. I only tried this salon out of a recommendation from my mother. A Filipino movie has taken my parents to the Long Beach Towne Center, which was when she came across this salon. She passed by it, probably saw Sophia (she was there at the time) giving someone a haircut, and my mom probably decided, "hey, let me try out this place". She got home with a new haircut and tells me to try out the salon because Sophia is good. She then gave me the calling card. I phoned Sophia for the prices. I asked how much the haircut was (she called me back 4 days after I left her a voicemail), she said it's $15 for men. She apologized for not being able to give me a haircut that week, because she was on vacation. She told me to come back after the 21st, as she will be back from vacation. Afterwards, I thanked her for her time and we hung up. On the 22nd, I called her for confirmation (in case she didn't show from jetlag or something). She said she was available, I can come in for a haircut. My girlfriend and I asked her if we need to make an appointment, she said no. She was already there. I came, gave me a speedy haircut, and it was awesome. She was the first to get the hairstyle I want correctly. I swore I'll be coming back as a regular customer because of that. A month later, I came back to the salon for a haircut. It was yesterday, a Sunday (11/17/13). A lady who was on the computer at the front and a young woman who, I think, does the threading said Sophia doesn't work on Sundays. They said she only works on Mondays to Saturdays. There were no other comments after that. We said thank you, and left. Today, we came back to the salon, a good 30-45 minute driving distance from our house. Once again, Sophia was not there. Naturally, we were upset, because the same women who we talked to yesterday told us she doesn't work on Sundays. What they didn't tell us was we needed an appointment. My mom and I were very upset over this, because we wasted time and gas to get there just to be told that the hairstylist isn't here and we need an appointment when they could've simply told us yesterday! The lady at the front desk started arguing back, cutting off my mom, and talking over us. My mom told them why couldn't they have told us that information yesterday, before we drove all the way down here. The old lady rudely said, you've been here before! I've seen you come in here for a haircut! She then said she will call Sophia to come over for my haircut. Everyone finally stopped talking while we all waited for Sophia. When Sophia finally came, Sophia greeted us and acknowledged me, since she remembers me by face. The old lady started laughing and said Yeah! You've been here before! My mom then responded back saying we've only been here before once! We're not old customers, we've only been here once before. The old lady then angrily responded back, until she started yelling at my mom. Sophia told her to calm down and let it go, it was just miscommunication. She sat me down. I told her nobody informed us BOTH that an appointment is required. I only called her to ask for details, but even Sophia failed to tell me I need an appointment. I told her they have haircuts advertised on their window, but they don't inform their customers about making appointments; so either they inform their customers about their system, or they take down the advertising on their window. The old lady started yelling again AT MY MOM, of all people (I was the one who was talking, why yell at my mom? And why are you YELLING in the first place). The old lady yelled she owns the business, Sophia isn't a regular employee, and a lot of other things about ownership. The owner was wagging and pointing her finger at my mother. My mom told her not to raise her voice at her and to stop pointing, but she continued to yell. It reached a point where the owner actually got up, walked closer to my mom (she was sitting) and started yelling at her and gesturing wildly. The young woman who does the threading did the same. Basically, the owner and the threader cornered my mother and yelled at her over miscommunication. We were harassed over miscommunication. After we left, I took pictures of the store and it was finally then that I realized that it was, in fact, written on the store window. Haircuts need appointments. But did they really need to corner my mother and yell incessantly? In fact, they could've just told us it's written on the window! Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this salon. Being harassed over a haircut is NOT worth it. New customers, beware. You have to be completely knowledgable of this salon's system, because a simple mistake will not be tolerated. read more

i tried so many threading salons like vinitas,nanus,ziba..........but i was not at all happy with them......one day my friend suggest me to try seemren threading salon ,the one located in cerritos towne centre................and i luvd this place,they do amazing job..............i just luv the way they did my eyebrows. then i had a hair cut too,,,,,,,can't blve they guys r so good in all the services................................. i m not agree with the girl who is warning for this place......................................i will go there again for sure,and i suggest all of u to go there..........u will luv the place. read more
