I have major travel anxiety, but have to travel for my job. This means finding a charter service that is consistent and calm is absolutely necessary. I love being picked up by Seemo, I have been using them for five years now. they also are really good at communicating well. It is pricey, but since it is for my job, it is a really good option. Also flying out of hartford there has been times I have had to change my flight because there was no parking and parking is not that great. So just biting the bullet and paying for Seemo has worked out really well for me. read more

Seemo Shuttle could not have been more accommodating, professional, and friendly. When I had to change my flight plans out of Bradley and badly needed to find transport to the airport, I called the Seemo office and Christine was amazing in arranging and confirming a ride. And to make things even more delightful, guess who was in the driveway in Hadley at 5AM? Christine! Talk about full service. And we had such a delightful and pleasant conversation that the drive seemed like it took no time at all. I will 100% be using Seemo Shuttle for all my travel back from Bradley to Western Mass. There seem to be number of disgruntled reviews on Yelp from people who clearly didn't read the terms and conditions--which are spelled out and EXPLAINED CLEARLY. Basically, you book, you pay, and you are committed even if there are travel delays that are not your fault. And this is completely understandable. Seemo is a small operation and once they book a ride, they have to book a driver and car. And they are then on the hook for payment of the commitment to a driver and car, like any reputable business. Granted, it sucks to be charged if a flight gets cancelled, etc. but that's how Seemo operates and they tell you that up front. With limited options in the Valley, Seemo Shuttle stands out with their integrity and first-rate service. Just know that if you book a ride to or from the airport, Seemo will be there and be there on time. I am sooooo happy that I discovered Seemo and could not be more satisfied. And I look forward to my next trip home--knowing that I can count on Seemo! read more

We've used Seemo Shuttle service for our daughter to ferry her from UMass to Bradley and back on several occasions without any issues. She says the drivers are polite and she feels safe. If I could give a negative rating, I would. We reserved a pickup and ride from Boston to our home 75 miles away. They require payment and gratuity prior to the trip. Then, during the horrific travel situation in the summer, our flight was cancelled and we were rerouted to a different airport. The drive was no longer relevant. The owner refused to refund us, let us put the money toward a future trip or even refund the gratuity. The travel insurance would not pay for it because they stated that the state attorney general should even handling it. We have filed a complaint. We have also filed with the BBB. How can you keep payment and gratuity for a service that we were forced to cancel and be unwilling to put the funds toward another trip. The owner has not responded to multiple attempts at contact. I called to arrange a pickup....told the operator I was concerned over some reviews I had read and wanted to make sure the service was reliable. The guy basically exploded, very angry, said they had had 5 bad reviews in 20 years, etc etc, and to take my business elsewhere. He basically took out his anger on me, a new customer! My kid's flight got cancelled because of the hurricane, so I called and left a message letting them know we wouldn't be needing the ride anymore for reasons completely beyond our control. A few hours later this rude and intimidating man called me saying they were gonna charge me anyways, even if the flight was cancelled. read more

The phone receptionist was helpful and patient when I called, so I was initially not concerned that the service would be bad. Upon meeting the driver outside the airport, I was told that I would be charged $5 extra for my luggage-- That's fine, sure the shuttle charged more for my luggage than the flight did, but it's a recession and they've kept their fees the same for years now (as I was angrily told by the driver when I commented on the luggage charge, which, by the way, was a small messenger backpack.) My concern was that the five extra dollars was supposed to be his tip. From that point on the driver made it clear he had a problem with me, and from what I could tell he tossed around my luggage pretty carelessly when unloading other passengers' luggage. Despite the rude service I still had $3 I wanted to give him as a tip, because it was cold and late and I felt to some extent he deserved it. When we arrived at my destination, the driver dropped my luggage behind the shuttle onto the snowy ground (quite literally dropped, without even trying to prop it up or stand it up) before I had time to get out of the shuttle. I guess he didn't like me enough to give me the courtesy of handing my luggage to me. When I came around back to take my luggage he gave me a coarse "Thanks." and jumped back into the shuttle and drove away while I was still standing behind the shuttle trying to gather my things that he had so carelessly strewn on the ground. I will NEVER use Seemo Shuttle again... Use PVTA, Bluebird, or Safari Shuttle.. The latter happens to be cheaper and friendlier than Seemo. ** Since posting this review, Seemo shuttle has began sending me threatening e-mails and posting my personal information and my exact location on google review. Since it IS basically the only ride service in The Valley, I have used it a couple of times, including my very first time flying in to college from CA (Such an exciting moment). Anyway, the driver was very nice but I did not know that you were supposed to pay a TIP...for a ride...I already had paid like 46 bucks. It's expensive, you have to wait until everyone is picked up from the airport, and then you leave...so it feels like a million hours, but that's just what it's like to share a van (I guess). read more

I e-mailed to confirm a reservation I had made with them more than a month ago. This was the astonishing reply. Dear Kathleen Overby, Thank you for your reservation request. We apologize; but our shared service is not available on June 9 and June 16, 2013 for the time of your travel. Your reservation request has been disregarded. There is no charge to your Credit Card. I called very confused. David got on the line and proceeded to tell me that it states on the e-mail they send after you make on line reservations that if you don't hear from them in 48 hours to call them. He said I either ignored it or missed seeing that instruction. I got more confused. He made it plain that I was at fault. He said that Bradley Airport had gone from 200 flights a day to 89? He said that maybe I waited till the last minute to make plans? Scratching my head in complete confusion, wondering if we were in some alternative dimension, I said, wait, let me explain better. He was completely defensive of his position and completely unprofessional toward an unsuspecting, surprised, confused, customer who chose them on purpose. I picked him. Isn't this what businesses want? It seemed like he didn't want customers. The conversation was more than a mere misunderstanding. We were driving in an area where cell phone coverage is sparse and I lost the connection and couldn't get back to him for half an hour. He had called back and left a message. This is a transcription of it. "Hi, this is David calling back. I don't know if you hung up the phone or we got disconnected. If you hung up the phone, that's perfectly fine, if we got disconnected, unfortunately, like I was saying, I'm not going to be able to run shuttles .... one at 9:20, one at 12:00, one at 3:00 for three individual folks who are arriving all day long. That's very few people unfortunately and one person per shuttle unfortunately is not good enough. Like I said earlier, I don't know if you heard it or if you already hung up, when we were told that the Glenworkshop was going to have about 50 people, well unfortunately, 50 people are not the same as three. And if you have questions you can call us back, if you find other alternatives, or make other arrangements, then the best of luck, and thank you very much." What is strange is that I chose to use them again after a good experience last year. All of us going to Glenworkshop on the Mt. Holyoke campus waited together and traveled in a full van both ways. We were happy to connect, talk, and get delivered courteously to the door of our destination. The driver was polite and took care of our luggage with grace. If I was writing this after last year I would give them a good review and recommend them. Last year the lady who answers the phone called me to confirm times and was helpful and friendly. Sometimes we don't understand the situation underneath the situation. I would like to understand what the problem is. I just hate being wrongly accused of being the problem. I wish them well and hope the customer service improves. I know the public can be brutal. But everyone isn't brutal. Some of us are thankful. Last year I was thankful to be taken care of so well. I would be willing to give them a redo if they called back and apologized. :) The saddest part is that several of us needed their service. At $50.00+ a person they could have made a killing shuttling us all three times a day to Mt Holyoke and back at the end of the week. We used Seemo Shuttle for many years to transport people from around the world to professional appointments throughout Western Massachusetts. We were delighted with all aspects of their service and were happy to refer them to others who were also pleased to use them. This could represent thousands of dollars of business for Seemo Shuttle in any given year just from us, plus referrals. The two stars here now are for the DRIVERS who were always professional, punctual, pleasant and helpful. The visitors couldn't say enough nice things about the drivers. That all came apart about a year ago when a reservations clerk was profoundly and extraordinarily rude to the people who were trying to pay them. Finally after a request for an explanation about a charge that was no where in the contract or any emails during the reservation or contract process ("It's on the website") we were told *in writing* that it would be best if we didn't use Seemo Shuttle in the future. When I emailed the owner for some kind of response to this I heard back nothing. So take it from Seemo Shuttle, it would be best if you used another company. read more

This shuttle company is not bad I used them 2 times, the guy that come to pick-up me from my home was good with the clock, he came exactly at the time I have in my confirmation and he was a nice guy. I lived before in CT, I used a different company over there but they are not the same like Semo Shuttle. read more

Seemo Shuttle is the absolute WORST transportation company I have ever had to experience. The receptionist's (who I later found out was THE OWNER) behavior is unbelievably inappropriate, demanding and he has an unnecessary, rude attitude. On two occasions, I have been verbally abused by this man when I have called to ask simple questions regarding my reservation. This time around, I had merely called to confirm the time I would be picked up. I told him the time my flight would be arriving at the airport and he became angry with me, telling me the flight time arrival is OBVIOUSLY not the pick up time and that all I had to do was look at the confirmation email they had sent me three months back. I calmly corrected myself and proceeded to confirm the reservation. He then started to raise his voice and say that he was "confused by what it was that I wanted to know." His strong suit is making the customer feel low with demeaning responses like "I'm not your slave" and "Let me finish before you open your mouth," and even "What are you, stupid or something?" Once I had been offended enough, I requested to speak with the manager, who had the same harsh, childish, inappropriate attitude with me and she stood by everything that this man had told me. Finally, they told me "You're not worth the headache, we don't need your business." I do not recommend this shuttle service to ANYBODY and if you are a current customer I suggest you walk away and do not give these people a cent more of your money as they do not deserve it. I will GLADLY be taking my business elsewhere, as there are several other transportation services in the area with far more competent, professional managers. read more

THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE. The worst experience I have ever had with any travel related service. I just helped my daughter move in at Hampshire college and was trying to book a shuttle back to airport, so at first I told her to send the shuttle to the college, where I would leave my daughter's car. She put me on hold, and when she came back I told her if it would be more convenient for them I could be picked up in Hatfield instead, at the inn where I'm staying. She immediately became very snippy, and told me in a condescending tone that if I wanted to be picked up in Hatfield I should have said so. I tried to explain that I could be picked up in either place, that I was trying to be considerate, and that whichever was most convenient for them would be fine. She went off on me, telling me that Hatfield was a completely different matter, that it would mean a private car, etc. etc. and completely steamrolling my attempts to reiterate that I was just trying to be nice. Then, in a huff, she informed me that "chuck would have to handle this call" and I was passed over to Chuck. I began by explaining to him what I wanted, that I could go from either place, and that I was talking to him because the other person had been rude. Not only was he unapologetic, he immediately picked up on the same line, saying he'd been sitting there the entire time and that she had NOT been rude to me, and that he was her supervisor and what a horrible person I am for "trying to get her in trouble". Okay, WHAT? First, I had NOT asked to speak to him and I had no idea he was her supervisor, how could I know that? And "trying to get her in trouble?" What is this, elementary school? Have these people ever heard of a trite little concept called "customer service"? He even said something like "if it were me, rather than try to get someone in trouble I would just call another shuttle." Obviously these people care more about themselves and their weird incestuous little work clique than they do about their customers...after what seemed like a very long time of him telling me how horrible I was, I was in tears, trying to explain that I wasn't trying to "get anybody trouble" I was just trying to get a shuttle to the airport, and what is wrong with you people?!? Finally I gave up, took his advice and called another shuttle company - Valley Transporter - where the woman who answered the phone was INCREDIBLY kind and even though I was trying not to cry, there was no miscommunication and I booked my shuttle (from my Inn - apparently not a problem for a shuttle service with competence) no problem. Moral if this story: Stay away from Seemo Shuttle. read more
