A simple hello or just a small smile goes long ways. Having been a frequent shopper and participated in the consignment process I wanted to update. The store was best for high quality infant clothes in my experience. However, they have a bit of everything if you're a patient shopper- with kids that's not always the case. I have bought really great used items from onesies to special occasion outfits to toys and furniture and have never been disappointed. Super cute consignment shop on the main strip of San Anselmo. This store has lightly used and new items at reduced costs (sometimes still pricey, but they have brand name stuff). I had a great time looking around for items for my daughter, she is growing quickly and sometimes grows out of stuff before we get a chance to wear it. I think that consignment stores are a great resource for my family. They have seasonal gear (ski suits, swim suits and holiday clothes) that don't get used as much, so you might want to check them out. read more

It's so sad that this place has changed with the new staff. We started coming here in 2020 and loved their clothes and the friendly faces but since then it's become very hostile. They might as well have a huge sign that says, "children's store but don't bring your child(ren)". The lady working the day we went was hovering over us and constantly telling my kids how to act or what to touch and what not to touch. We couldn't believe the way we were being treated. I'm so sad this happened because now I don't want to come back or am nervous to come back. I wish they kept their old staff or just taught their staff friendliness especially since this is a children's boutique my family and my in laws used to love this place but not after our last visit and the way they treated our children which are our most loved ones. read more

I am giving SeeSaw two stars, since it has changed from a welcoming place to a tight, rigid, elite, and stressful place to shop geared towards the well-heeled Marin crowd, with very limited inventory. I am sorry that it is the only kids' consignment in town. However, I will start with the good: -- They have a decent selection of baby clothes and gear. I found a fair amount when my little was a baby. -- They have cute high-end kids clothes for special occasions and dressing up. The not-so-good: -- As has happened with many Marin businesses, the store owner and assistant have gone from being friendly and welcoming to stern, stressed, and cold. I can only imagine that the volume of business, including enormous input and output, has brought stress and a strain on the capacity for kindness. --As of late, I feel like I am in a prison-like atmosphere as I browse through the store. They are short and irritable, shouting sternly across the store. The assistant seemed very annoyed that my daughter picked up an item and looked at it, shooting terrible looks in her (and my) direction as I checked out. --The inventory, particularly for post-toddler kids, is incredibly impractical and high end. Everything is exceedingly precious and ornate -- and often uncomfortable. My kid wants to wear leggings and soft dresses -- I don't know that many six-year-olds that want to wear stiff designer duds. But they don't even carry leggings for that age range, only designer jeans and such. The dresses are also uncomfortable and high end. All in all, I imagine this is a good store for a Ross Stepford mom type -- one who doesn't mind snooty service (or perhaps receives better service?) and wants to dress their children up like dolls. This is a shame, because it is financially and ecologically helpful to have places to recycle clothes and buy used. I hope that the store takes this into consideration, that those minding the store find some space to breathe, and that it orients itself in a less elite, exclusionist manner in inventory and attitude. read more

Lots of wonderful clothing in all kids sizes. The store is well organized, clean and bright. Our stroller fit down the aisles so I could shop with my hands free. I'm the grandma and that was very helpful as my grandson was only 3 months old and can be wiggly when he is looking around. read more

I live in the peninsula. I have a great consignment store by my house. And I still come to See Saw every time I'm in Marin. And my baby scores. Wide selection of clothes, shoes, and toys. I wish I lived closer. I found a beautiful table and chairs, but couldn't fit them in the car. We were lucky to be helped by the owner. Sweet and engaging, I can't think of a thing she can do better with the store. I ask you, what's the point in shopping anywhere else for your little stinker? They grow so fast. And the store has like-new everything. If I lived here, I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I wish we had an adorable consignment boutique like Seesaw up here in the North Bay. Anna and her delightful daughter were so kind, compassionate, hard working and helpful. Hopping on Craigslist in a search for small a K'Tan, I found an ad posted by this business. Otherwise, if it wasn't for the ad, I would of never of found this adorable place. Late on a Saturday, I hopped in my car from Santa Rosa taking the 45 minute drive to San Anselmo. Anne was so sweet to hold the item for me. When I got down there, I couldn't believe all of the cute items they were selling on consignment. I walked out with a lot more than intended. Anne said that everything changes daily. Items are being sold every day and new item go out every day. I can't wait to take a drive back in a few weeks to see what other items are available. read more

I agree with the Powell E. Review. I came in the other day with wonderful items from Gymboree, Keen, Hanna Anderson, Native etc and the owner didn't even give my items a thorough review. She sorted through them in record time, and said she couldn't take anything. I have bags and bags more of stuff at home but limited it to the two they say (by the way, you can bring in ANY size two bags, even IKEA size). I don't want to waste my time going back now, since I thought what I had would for sure be wanted. Maybe I don't match the clientele they're looking for RME. Wish there was somewhere else to sell these to, I'd surely give my business to them instead! I have a newborn and toddler and it was SO HARD to make that appointment. This is my favorite store of all time. The owner is the nicest lady in the world and I love everyone who works in her store. I can always find really nice, high-quality items in the store for my daughter and son. I always go here first when I'm looking for something as it always has great options and I think it's wonderful to buy secondhand. And I know that the quality of the secondhand items is always top-notch. I have consigned many items here before. They don't always take everything I bring in but I understand that they have high standards and that is the reason why I love them as a consumer so I totally appreciate it and respect it. Usually if they don't take something of mine it's because it's not a very nice brand or it's been worn out. I have gotten everything from here from my child's crib to my daughter's Easter dress to our hiking backpack to adorable jammies and sleep sacks to rain boots to snowsuits, the list goes on and on. We love See Saw! I have found so many things for my two year old boy - I can't help buying them all! And my nine year old daughter had consigned some toys and clothes that she is ready to move on. It has taught her to reuse and to save up for new things that she would like to buy. I love that the store represents a large age range that fits our family. SeeSaw is fantastic because the owner, Anna, is fantastic! The selection of kid goods is top notch yet inexpensive. It is always a mood lifting experience to go into this store, look at all the cute stuff, chat with Anna, and of course shop! But beyond that, I want to give a shout out to Anna for going way above and beyond when I was far into my third trimester and bought some larger furniture pieces from SeeSaw...she and her husband personally delivered them to me on a Sunday-her day off no less-because I was unable to do any heavy lifting at that time.
