    Aji mackerel special
    Kat L.

Very clean establishment, friendly service. We ordered their futomaki roll and aac (avocado, asparagus, cucumber) roll, which were of good size unlike the usual veggie rolls in other places. We also ordered their black garlic ramen. I noticed that their bamboo shoots were not the usual thinly sliced but they were still pretty good. The chashu had nice char, tender, and on the sweeter side. Good dish but the noodles were more like instant ramen texture. I also wish there would be more of the bean sprouts, kikurage, and corn inside. Lastly we got their aji mackerel sashimi. The price was reasonable for a whole fish and it was nice tasting but the deep fried bone of the fish gave off fishy smell. I guess the experience matched the price point so that was quite worth it.

This is a newly opened sushi restaurant in a small strip mall along rt 13 in a small city. I am glad we stopped for dinner on our way back from OBX. We had a group of 6 and ordered a lot of food ( pork bao, goyza, dumplings, hamachi kama, seaweed sald, house salad, Chicken teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, sushi, and sashimi combo, ramen, salmon roll, tuna roll, cucumber rolls, beer, bubble teas, soda) and everything came out on time and in the correct order of appetizers then entrees at good intervals that everyone got their food at similar times. The server was very good and friendly. The food that came out was very fresh and well cooked 9/10. The rice for the sushi was correct, the fish to rice ratio was good, the sashimi was cut well. The tempura was a surprising star- not oily and still crispy even at the end of the meal, they know their tempura batter. We were all happy and stuffed, and the dinner bill was under $200 w/o tips. This is an amazing value for amazing food.

This is me and boyfriend second time coming and they have yet to disappoint! The service is great the ladies there are soo kind and they answer what ever question we have with no problem. The food is sooo good. Today we went for just sushi and it was sooo fresh and tasty. The vibe was very chill they even had old R&B playing. Definitely will be coming back

Stop by on our way north and looking for a good sashimi place. We were so delighted! Food was amazing and presentation even better. The waitress was so good. Everything inside looked and smelled new. We highly recommend it. You won't regret it!

For you true sushi lovers that remembers Sushi de Kanpai or just know great sushi, I have found the BEST place on the shore. Sekai Sushi & Ramen is located in the strip under Salisbury University Housing on Business 13. When you go there, Eason, the Owner and Sushi Chef will treat you like family. Who knows, you might see Mrs. Kumi the owner of Sushi de Kanpai there enjoying some dinner ( she's there a lot, now that she is retired, enjoying dinner with her husband ). The food is off the chart. Try the Kabuki Roll, Special Scallop Roll, or the Oasis Roll. These rolls are Special Request and are out of this world. But what is even better.... thier Nigri selection is not to be messed with. I have not found a better selection anywhere else. You will not be disappointed.

Rainbow roll, caterpillar roll, and an eel roll. We also got the calamari appetizer and tried their curry samosa.

The food was delicious, and the wait was not long either. The service was exceptional - the staff is very kind, and the interior of this restaurant is very nice and clean. We will definitely be coming back here!

    Sushi rolls

Wow! What a place. We came here when it was just ramen and that was phenomenal but the sushi is great too! We ordered some really good appetizers, the tiger skin, the squid salad, and gyoza. All of these were 5/5 stars. They gave us curry samosas on the house and those were delicious. The sushi rolls are large and very fresh. We tried the American Dream roll, the double salmon roll, the sweetheart roll, the SU roll, the fiery roll and the sunrise roll. Every roll, I'd order again. Will be back here soon! The service was also excellent.

It has the look and feeling that you are in Japan and not in a cheap, tourist way. The location is really neat, clean, and sanitary. Additionally, they went the next step as we were seated in a table with chairs but the chairs all had soft, pillow cushions, providing extra comfort while dining. I love that you can see the kitchen while they cook as the aromas of the delicious ramen are being prepared. If you see the bathroom there, do not be alarmed to see that their toilet has a bidet set-up. They also have toilet paper if you have never used a bidet before. Now to the best part, the food! There are two dishes I highly recommend: Bulgogi Ramen and the chicken Katsu with the bulgogi rice bowl a good follow-up. The ramen is delicious with the meat being tender, flavorful and the sweet bulgogi taste seeps into the broth, adding extra flavor. The noodles taste fresh and hand-made as well! The kimchi provides a nice counterbalance to the sweetness of the meat and broth. The bulgogi rice bowl is good too for you do not want ramen for the day. However, the chicken katsu is delicious!!!! The chicken is so crispy that you can hear the crunch sound as you bite into it. It is cooked to perfect, thin, and uniform throughout. The rice is piping hot, cooked to perfection, and a lot is provided. The cabbage provided is a nice, refreshing counterbalance to the richness of the katsu and rice. Lastly, get a boba tea drink. The flavors are delicious like the lychee and the boba is not chewy that you will have to bite and bite. One bite and it dissolves in your mouth and is in your stomach. Lastly, the service. Gabriel was phenomenal! He was attentive, gave great recommendations, and made my family and I feel welcomed like we were eating at his house. He was funny, interactive, and accommodating. Overall, great server. Kevin (the host ) was phenomenal as well. He was so humble to come by and serve us our food. He never left us unattended. Last but not least, John (the owner) is hands down one of the best owners of a restaurant I have seen. He is kind, funny, compassionate, and took his time to interact with and talk to all the patrons. He made you feel like family, asking my family and I our names and making great small talk. He was open to talking about himself and his inspiration about his restaurant even when the place was about to close. Owners who stay late near closing time on a Sunday evening, not many do that. Living in Virginia, I will miss this place. Their food is one of the best that I have had and I will be counting down the days I can come back to Rohoboth Beach to bathe in their ramen and chomp into the katsu once again!

We were captivated by the magnitude of terrific reviews Miyagi got, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was unassuming, located in a small plaza next-door to the Safeway grocery store. When we walk through the door, we were immediately greeted into an authentically Asian atmosphere. The restaurant was long and narrow with the kitchen visible to guests. We were seated at a cozy booth. We started with an order of the purple, sweet potato fries, and they were delicious--hot and fresh, tempura style. Each of us ordered a different Ramen bowl. The portions were healthy. The bowls were like a picture in a magazine, so colorful and varied. Unable to finish our entire bowls, we asked for takeout containers. When the server returned, he clearly directed us to separate the noodles and the broth. His attention and concern was impressive. Miyagi is a must in Rehoboth Beach. Once you're tired of eating crabs, stop by for a remarkable bowl of soup!
