He did not have that sales man attitude, of just wanting to make a sale, he actually cared about my concerns and didn't lie or beat around the bush. My husband and I went to Selma Auto Mall to look and get a feel for what we were wanting, when we got there, literally 2 salesman's came running before I could even get out of my car which was annoying. We had found a used car we liked and decided that we would see if we could come to good terms, now my credits not great which I understand, but they came to me with a 27% interest rate, saying it gets my foot into the door and I could just refinance. I said no, they begged me to wait even after I was ready to just go home, brought back a 20% which I still knew I could get better. I told them no thanks, and was fairly annoyed, then get asked 'what did I expect with my credit' which to me was incredibly rude and uncalled for. I ended up going to a dealership in Visalia and got a rate for way lower. Your luck may be different, but I felt pressured and almost bullied. Glad I decided to go elsewhere read more

NATALIE catfished us. We spoke through the phone and she informed us the car was available and she'd have it in front of the dealership waiting for us. Upon arrival we met her and she looked up the stock number to give to the salesman. He later returned and asked if there were any other cars we were interested in because the car was sold 45 minutes ago. 20 mins ago we spoke to Natalie on the phone and it was still there. These are some pretty dirty sales tactics they are using at Selma auto mall. No integrity, liars, money hungry-this place is all these things. Not all sales people are like this so I cannot speak for all the people at this place but NATALIE for sure (do not trust her). I'll take my service elsewhere. Beware. That was more than a month ago, I've called half a dozen times and get forwarded to voicemail every time. I'm always promised a call back that never comes. Went to Kia automall after already setting up an appointment with their online sales manager. Upon arrival (I hadn't even stepped out of my vehicle) I was approached by a man asking what he could sell me today. I told him I already had a appointment with someone and didn't need his service. He proceeded to follow me and ask who my appointment was with. I told him it was the online sales manager and I wasn't sure his name. He then asked me "what did his race sound like? Asian?". So I told him I don't know ethnicity through voice and to please leave me alone. He then sent another man over to me to tell me his online sales manager was on vacation and my appointment was a mistake (I just talked to him that morning). He then took me around back and showed me cars he couldn't even sell because they were inspected and proceeded to tell me these where the only cars he could sell me. Even though he couldn't even sell those cars. I then asked to speak to someone else. So he took me inside and told me to sit and he would be back. I waited 20min being ignored and he never came back. As I walked out to my car he ran outside to follow me and ask where I was going. I told him I didn't want a car from here anymore. As I was walking to my car another man approached me following me to my car asking what he could sell me. I also told him to leave me alone. So needless to say I had an awful experience and left empty handed. The men were not helpful. They made a remark I felt was racist. They ignored me or were super pushy. read more

What a joke!! We went in to look @ the new Honda CRV for my daughter & asked for the best price they could give us during the Memorial Day week on a Thursday. Salesman was nice enough but when manager came out & showed my husband the "best price" on that particular car it was TEN THOUSAND dollars over the listed sticker price. How the heck can it be $10000 over sticker? We said that's not the numbers we would even consider. Heck with tax, license & registration for that car it would have only been $2,000-3,000 more. Why on earth would we want to pay an additional $7,000? The mgr claimed it was for built in car service etc. What!? Why would we prepay $7000 for car service? That's crazy! He kept saying Well tell me what price you're willing to pay & my husband told him around the sticker price . He wouldn't budge from HIS $10000 over sticker so we got up & left. We told him we would be paying cash and NOT financing. We did NOT ask for any extra items to be added onto this car we simply wanted the BEST price on that particular model that we had taken for a test drive. What a joke! This happened a couple other times when we went to look @ different models/dealerships within Selma Auto Mall. Don't waste your time there. You're better off going to Fresno or Clovis! Purchased 2 vehicles from here and the staff is always friendly and professional. My first vehicle I never had any major issues with it so I didn't need to bring it in for service very often the entire time we owned it (10 yrs). My second vehicle hasn't been the same story. Within weeks of buying it we started having electrical issues, but because they were "intermittent" we couldn't get it fixed (I even took video evidence to try to show them what it does but it didn't help any). 2 years after purchasing it and we started having what I feel are a lot of issues and the still the same electrical issues. We've already been in for service 4x this year for 2 different issues and each time they've had my vehicle over a week before they even diagnosed the issue and filed a claim with my warranty company "because they're busy". We're debating just trading in our vehicle now but I'm unsure if it will be with them or if we will go somewhere else. read more

So, my daughter and I went in today to renew my second lease with Selma Honda. My first experience was great. This experience was exceptional! I was completely blown away by the way we were treated. First, Bruce Bounsavang greeted us and asked some brief questions. He immediately took care of us and introduced us to our salesman, Isaiah. From the beginning, Isaiah's approach was completely professional and non aggressive. It was clear he genuinely cared about meeting our need and working with our financial situation. He found us another civic that offered $1000 discount. I was thoroughly impressed with the knowledge he had about our vehicle. We then worked with Mario, who really worked out some numbers to get us a monthly payment close to what we had on our previous lease. And finally, we finished the deal with Mat. We worked with him last time. He was quite efficient in finishing the paper work and getting us out quickly. I cannot say how impressed we were with our experience. These men were honest and genuine. Had an appointment to get a recall done on my vehicle. Even though I was running late, a quick call to let them know and they still took my car in. Even though it was very early in the morning 8am, they were friendly and ready to help. They offer a part of the dealership to wait for your car. They have coffee and a TV to watch the news. The coffee could use some dairy creamer, but coffee is coffee. They also have a play area for kids to get distracted while waiting. read more

Overall I do not recommend the Selma Auto Mall. The car I drove away with had an excellent price. But the entire process was quite ridiculous. Essentially the car was purchased in February and I did not receive the keys until April. This was because they kept trying to sell us cars that could not be sold (couldn't pass smog for example). We finally drove home the 5th car they provided. This whole process took 7 weeks! One of the biggest issues was they never returned a call (that's an exaggeration, they called back a total of 3 times). Then less than 24 hours after making a bad review the Selma Auto Mall contacted us and went above and beyond to make things right. I am walking away from this deal finally at peace. They truly did not need to go through all the effort (although I am grateful). It's a shame that it took a bad review for things to actually get better. Unfortunately I still cannot recommend Selma Auto Mall, it was an excellent price for a car, and that's about it. read more

Selma Honda- Go somewhere else. I went to buy a car and spent about 3 hours time there. I was already financed through my bank so all they needed was to send the email to release the funds. They kept bothering me for my social and trying to run my credit through their own banks to get a better APR. I insisted not to, because I was happy with my APR my bank gave me. All that drama only to find out that the car I wanted to buy was already sold three days prior. The general manager told me that the lady who had bought the already bought 20 cars from them before. Which makes no difference because who ever bought it, it should of been removed from their lot the minute it was sold. I literally live three miles away from this place and I would rather drive miles somewhere else to get good service and know that cars on the lot are "really" for sale. I recommend Michaels Toyota of Fresno. They have plenty of hondas there. That is where I bought my new car! read more

Me and my wife stopped in last week. We are looking at trading in our full sized truck for a car. Once we arrived we where greeted by a sales man from the Chevy department. Friendly guy. I believe his name was Jose. I never got a business card so I'm alittle unsure. We went over what we are looking for and he showed us a few cars that fit our interest. We found a car that we thought was worth running the numbers on and started the process. Three hours go by and multiple talks with Jose and the sales manager and we where given the option to head home and wait for a call. We where told that "everything looks good and we should exspect a call soon". This was a Friday btw. Saturday comes along and nothing. Then I get a call from the front desk lady saying "thanks for stopping in". " If there is anything in the future they could do for me to give them a call or stop on in". Um....ok? So I told her my situation and she said she would have Jose call me. Minutes later, guess who, Jose. Him saying sorry he didnt get back to me, blah blah. He told me the bank didnt except the offer and he explained why. Then that was it. I then told him, "well are you going to ask me for more to put down on the car"? Thought this was his job? I offered to put another 1k down. Then I was told, with that the deal would be a go! He said he would get back to me on Monday. I also got q text from both Jose and the sales mgr, both opoligizing. Regardless, Its Thursday now and I have text them both twice and no response. Great job at following through guys. I can deal with smoke and mirrors, that's part of 5th he game but just to let the deal fall off like that. You obviously dont need my business. The next time I need to checkout some vehicles, I'll make sure to to wave as I pass heading to Fresno. Selma, thanks for waisting my time and thanks for running my credit for no reason. read more

17 years ago i went in and haggled for 4 hours, left to look elsewhere and finally came back to close the deal. It took a total of 10 hours at the Auto Mall. Back then i got a good deal but i had to grind out a winning deal for me. Looking at their prices for used trucks online now i won't set foot on their overpriced lot. They've got 2012 pickups listed like they're 2014 or 2015 models. Over the high end of the Kelley Blue Book retail price. Screw that. Im not spending a day with these crooks again to haggle a decent deal. Btw... Kelley Blue Book is based off of what WE the consumer are willing to pay for a vehicle and what YOU are willing to take for your trade in. I've seen a truck at another dealership get passed around from its Selma lot to Fowler to Fresno and back. Now the price has dropped just over $2,000. I think I'll go take a look at it tomorrow. Do NOT go to Selma Kia! Spoke to Tanya via text regarding the Kia Sorento that I was interested in. It was supposed to be waiting outside for us when we went to the dealership. When we got there it wasn't. We ended up in a Dodge Journey. I've never been so dissatisfied with a car! Besides not getting the car I wanted, we ended up with a car that only has 1 key (didn't find that out til the contract was signed, but given the option to buy another one), no floor mats (the one we test drove had mats), no antenna, and the car makes a noise in the front end when going over a bump.... plus no hands free! The salesman didn't even show us anything in the car before we left. I haven't even made my first payment and I'm already counting the days til I can trade this car in! read more

My husband and I are looking at purchasing another vehicle that his credit union gave us strict parameters on. We have not been able to find anything in the Fresno/Clovis area, so we went to Selma Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep and met with Ed last week. We have been upfront with him about what we need and our price range and he has gone above and beyond what we expected. He found us a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe that meets all of the bank's requirements. While it isn't necessarily my first pick for a vehicle (I would love to have a newer (2011 to 2013/2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee) but our bank isn't willing to work with us), it is a solid car. When I arrived at Selma Auto Mall Hyundai two gentlemen by the names of Raymond Sahagun and Steffen Clark assisted in finding the car that I was looking for. I was initially looking for a used vehicle with low miles as it would be used for work purposes only.
