We went for their $25 all you can eat tacos and sushi offering on Tuesday's as a way to try out different items on the menu. Our group of 6 were seated right away and the waiter was ready to take our orders. However, it all went downhill from here. While we were ordering, we were told that we could only order one item at a time - either a taco or sushi. We were a bit confused by this but we went ahead and submitted our orders. The tacos ended up being very skimpy and the sushi took over 30 minutes to come out. We left very disappointed with the food and service.

Amazing experience! The restaurant was big and there was no wait for a reservation. You can sit inside or outside on the patio. I loved all of the decor elements they were so adorable. The margaritas were delicious and strong! The food was SO good. I really loved the Asian and Mexican fusion especially how it translated through their sushi options. Service was a little slow for being not that busy, but friendly angwI will be back!

This review is only for their $25 unlimited taco and sushi Tuesday deal. It is extremely overrated. I know for a fact that Selva Rosa has better food than what we were served during this AYCE. The tacos were pretty tiny, which I didn't mind because it's an AYCE so I could keep ordering. But the meat was really dry in them. The sushi was very basic (the salmon roll was a literal piece of salmon wrapped in rice with seaweed). This was probably some of the worst sushi I've eaten and it took AN HOUR to get to us. But I'll say it again, I know they have good sushi and tacos because I've experienced their food at an event before. Our server, Eric, was great and really on top of trying to get our orders in and out as quickly as possible. He asked the sushi bar about our sushi multiple times without us having to ask him. The only other good thing was the margaritas! $28 for a pitcher of passion fruit margarita that isn't watered down! I was decently tipsy hehe :) I know a $25 sushi and taco AYCE is a fantastic deal especially in this area, but at what cost? It's pretty clear that with this deal, they are sacrificing quality for quantity.

Decided to try out this spot despite not being able to make a reservation. Turns out, they have decided for now not to take reservations and there was plenty of seating available. The restaurant is super cute with lots beautiful decor and fun neon signs for photo opps. I will definitely make sure to look my best next time I come to take advantage of them, including the bathroom. The service was at times a bit slow and we probably waited at least 10 minutes for someone to come by our table to give us water and take our drink order despite it not being very busy. Fortunately, everything was worth the wait as the appetizers and drinks were great! We especially loved the margaritas, bao, and empanadas. The Rosa en Fuego dessert was super fun as they lit the sauce on fire and poured it on top but we thought the flavor wasn't great. I will definitely be back as this would make the perfect girls night spot.

I'm torn on this review because I've now been twice with two wildly varying experiences. The first time we went, we had some very good tacos, surprisingly decent sushi for a fusion restaurant, and some of the best beans I've ever had at a restaurant. Service was also really attentive and quick. I left telling my friends about this newer restaurant and happy for more choices in the area. Our second visit was last evening and it was easily one of the worst dining experience I've had in recent memory. If you're considering the Tuesday Taco/Sushi special I would steer clear. The great tacos and sushi we had on our first visit were not the food we were served. Tacos are tiny and dry. Sushi might be the worst I've ever had which was mostly rice. It took a literal hour to receive the sushi. It's clear to me that this restaurant is not set up for the AYCE experience because the service and kitchen cannot keep up. What was consistent across both visits was the ambience. Restaurant is very pretty, though it is very loud with a live DJ. The patio is huge and dog friendly nicely overlooking Lake Lily Park. Parking can be hit or miss, but keep in mind there is a free garage at the back of the property. I hope to give this restaurant another try, but not on Tuesday. It's an interesting choice by management to throw away the quality on a cheap AYCE experience, and I hope they reconsider the Tuesday special, potentially just selling the normal tacos and sushi at a discount.

I visited on Taco Tuesday and overall had a mixed but enjoyable experience. I arrived around 5:30 PM before the crowd picked up, but it's worth noting that wait times should be expected due to their all you can eat tacos and sushi special. From the start, the service stood out. The host was welcoming, and my server truly enhanced the experience. He was attentive, communicated wait times clearly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night, which I appreciated on such a busy evening. The atmosphere is one of their strongest features. The space is beautiful, trendy, and has a fun, lively vibe that makes it great for a night out. As for the food, it was a bit hit or miss. The tacos were well seasoned but came off a little dry on the corn tortilla without much sauce, so I added queso and salsa on the side which helped. The sushi was fresh and made to order, but it didn't quite hit the flavor I was expecting. Gratuity was automatically added to our bill due to a group policy, even with just two of us. That said, our server was a pleasure and very attentive, so I didn't mind it at all. Although it is all you can eat, the timing between rounds was too slow and it took a while for each set to come out. The mango margarita pitcher was the highlight of the night, flavorful, tropical, and refreshing, and I would absolutely come back just for the drinks.

I was really excited to visit Selva Rosa after seeing so many influencer posts and Instagram videos, so we decided to check it out on St. Patrick's Day during their event -- unfortunately, the experience fell pretty short for us. Before going, I messaged the restaurant to ask about event details and specials but never received a response. We arrived early and were seated fairly quickly, which was a great start. However, when more friends arrived and we asked to sit closer together, we were given mixed directions. One staff member told us to ask our server (who was very difficult to find throughout our visit), and when I spoke with the hostess, she initially said no despite several open tables that could accommodate our group. She mentioned they were reserved, even though we had been told reservations weren't being taken for the event. She said she would check with a manager and come back to us -- but never did. The all-you-can-eat taco setup was also confusing. You could only order one meat choice at a time, which wasn't clearly explained upfront. We were told early on that they were already out of mojitos and some sushi items, and that sushi orders would take quite a while. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. The tacos arrived cold with minimal toppings, and you had to request basics like salsa and lime separately each time. The sushi, when it finally arrived, was underwhelming and tasted comparable to grocery store sushi. The margarita pitcher also tasted watered down. Service overall was extremely slow -- it took nearly an hour just to get our check and pay. It honestly felt like the restaurant wasn't prepared for the size or structure of the event they were hosting. The ambiance and decor are adorable, and we really wanted to love this place, but the experience from start to finish felt disorganized and frustrating. We may give it another try in a few months once things settle, because the space itself has a lot of potential.

The decoration of the restaurant is very cute and great for a date night. There is also valet parking if you're having trouble finding parking outside the restaurant. There's a tiny photo spot area near the front of the restaurant too. The service was good! The server came timely to update us on our food and drinks, and overall it was a nice experience. I loved the crispy shrimp! The tempura was nice and light and the dipping sauce paired really well with it! The drinks I got were also super delicious. I'm not a big fan of tasting the alcohol over the juice/other flavors in cocktails, and these were super good! My friends ordered the king shiso and hamachi mami rolls, and they were really good too. Out of the three, I enjoyed the hamachi mami the most.

We came here on a Tuesday excited to try their advertised $25 unlimited tacos and sushi menu, only to be told they no longer include the sushi. Needless to say that was pretty disappointing but the restaurant was beautiful and the ambiance was lively so we decided to stay. We were seated by the very kind hostess but eventually got up to sit at the bar due to slow service. The menu had an impressive variety of dishes and we were able to order a $20 margarita pitcher which we really enjoyed. For our starter we opted for the lobster flautas which unfortunately neither of us enjoyed. The idea was there but the flavor just wasn't good in our opinion. For the entrees my partner chose the birria tacos and I had the carnitas, both came with Spanish rice and refried beans. Mine was just okay, pretty bland and I ended up taking it to go but eventually just tossed it. The birria was better but certainly nothing to rave about. Overall, would I return? More than likely not.

We came in for a work lunch and had a mixed experience. To preface, I know they just opened and they're probably still working out the kinks. The interior is beautiful. The bar area, bathroom, and seating was all very nice. We decided to sit on their patio since the weather was good and it was a lovely spot. Unfortunately, service was not good. They were not busy, but our wait times were still very long for each interaction with our waiter and waiting for our food. He had to retake our orders multiple times. When we ordered items like tacos, he didn't ask about shell/tortilla preference. When we ordered sweet tea, he did not let us know it was a berry hibiscus tea unlike the typical kind. While our waiter was polite, he was slow and disorganized. The food was okay. For appetizers, we got the queso and the jalapeño crab wontons. The wontons were weird and the whole pepper didn't work well. The queso was nice. We also shared a birria sushi roll. It wasn't bad, but we wouldn't order it again. When it came to entrees, they were out of ground beef and another item. I got the lunch pick two with a carnitas taco and a pulled chicken enchilada with rice and beans. The chicken was dry and the taco was rather small. The beans and rice were good. Everyone else at the table agreed the food wasn't bad, just lack luster. I would be willing to return once they get more practice.

A definite glo up! Super cute inside. Food is decent. Skimpy on chips and salsa but they bring more at no additional charge. Our server made great recommendations. Definitely going back!

2/2 review: As being someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, I personally think the whole restaurant is set up this way as a scam. They create this aesthetic looking spot and have this special "deal" to pull people in. Get a ton of influencers to come out and through the phone it looks alright so people want to come. You go in and it's packed so you think it must be great until you start ordering and realize what you're in for. I think they take so long on the sushi/seafood on purpose. They want you to get full on the cheaper stuff to make (tacos). It's easier to prepare, way less ingredients, and cheaper. If you fill up on tacos by the time your two sushi orders finally arrive you can't finish them and have to pay that extra five dollars per item. That way they make sure no one is ordering more than two sushi items each. You can only put two orders in at a time so everyone put their sushi orders in first then had to wait so long that they ended up letting everyone put as many taco orders as they wanted it. The system is set up this way on purpose. If you look the deal used to be $10 cheaper like a month ago and they raised it already. Literally in no world is it worth it. If you come during a normal day you can order the same amount of food for LESS! The only possible way you are making a deal of this is if you are eating some combination of 3 giant sushi rolls/ 3 orders of 3 tacos and no leftovers. Cherry on top is parking is terrible. Have to walk all the way down to the parking garage that has the tightest parking spaces and dog shit smeared all over the sidewalks. You can get a filling sushi roll, miso soup, and a small appetizer all for about the same price at KABOOKI! That's enough for you to realize NEVER TO COME TO THIS PLACE! Oh everyone got sick too after eating and pretty sure one of us got food poisoning from the fish. Just fyi! :)

Completely redesigned and so new, you can still smell the fresh paint. But the vibes are there, making this a fun and trendy new spot. Welcomed with a warm greeting and great service while at the bar. It's a blend of Latin and Sushi with some pretty unique menu items. We just popped in for a few drinks and a small bite this visit but plan to return. As you sit down, you're greeted with a small portion of classic chips and salsa. The carnitas bao buns were a standout - crispy from the pan sear and packed with carnitas, crumbled cheese, and vibrant toppings. A unique bite. The Margarita Fresca is their take on a skinny margarita, and it's one of the better ones in town - refreshing without being overpowered by lime or sour.

It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. No complaining about that ! lol

This place was beautifully designed. It has different lounge areas that seem like separate rooms…read more(only three walls), each with a different design. There are table games, like Jenga, and different kinds of seating all over. The ace throwing has stalls on the opposite side of the establishment. The bartenders are awesome, and of course I had to get my staple, an espresso martini. They add a cute decoration ontop in the form of two axes AND it's made with Lineage espresso. The food is delicious. I had the 2600 which has a heaping amount of filet pieces. It's served with chips and is so yummy. This is a cute place for date night or hanging with friends! I've even went in here and there were Salsa lessons. Ask the staff about their upcoming events.

This place does a great job with getting everyone started and teaching you safety. We also added knives to the reservation. I love this place, everyone is there to have fun and they always have coaches around to help you improve your form if you have questions. Their bar is also great and they always make a good drink. It's got a nice sitting are to stick around and enjoy a drink after throwing too. I did dock one star because they wouldn't refund us for the 2 no shows, they said we could either take an extra half hour for the 4 of us or call the owner later, it just seemed more complicated that necessary. I would understand a non refundable deposit and then charging full for whoever shows up, but charging full for no shows seems odd. Either way I'd definitely recommend this place! It's great for friends or a date.

It's been a long time since I have eaten there, so I had to visit again when I received a promotion…read morefor twenty dollars off. I made a reservation for a Saturday evening on Resy in advance. Since valet parking is free, I took advantage of it and headed straight to check in. I was greeted immediately and sent to the table where I could watch the open kitchen. I was told most of the drinks were strong, so I tried the mezcal drink (14 dollars). I forgot the name, but it was smoky, herbal, and lightly boozy. It was such a nice sipping drink. I was very happy that my server was very honest in mentioning the salmon was farmed raised, so I decided to go with the airline chicken instead (26 dollars). Before I was given my chicken, the chef near my table gave me a complimentary hors D'oeuvre. It looked to be a small wonton bowls filled with ahi tuna with some guac topping I think. Whatever it was, I was in heaven. It was fresh and flavorful, making my taste buds happy. When the chicken arrived, it came mostly deboned. It was tender enough, but could have been a little more juicy. It could been a bit more seasoned as well since I tasted mostly chicken without any other flavors. The vegetables, however, were far better as the potatoes were roasted and seasoned perfectly. I thought there would be mostly grilled vegetables, but the potatoes overtook them. The other vegetables were still amazing. I wish there was more of the green salsa, but it was thin. It did, however, added the kick and flavor to the chicken. It was still a very enjoyable entree. For dessert, they handed a separate menu, and I had to do the creme brulee (11 dollars). It was quite generous, but still light enough to finish. The crust was crispy without being too powerful, and the vanilla specks just made the flavor perfect. The service was excellent and professional. When it was time to pay, I showed the email to my server, who got the manager to verify. The manager immediately checked and gave me the twenty dollars off, making the total price before tips about 33 dollars after tax. It was a great deal. Both the manager and server checked up with me on the dinner and were very friendly. The atmosphere is upscale, but t-shirt and jeans are still welcome here. I love the open kitchen, and you are welcome to talk to the chefs. I am so happy I visited Luke's again after a long time. I loved their sister restaurant, Lumas, and was sad they closed a while back ago. While Luke's can be a bit pricey, they still have some items at reasonable prices (like the chicken, burgers, and sandwiches). Plus, if you sign up for their email, you can get promotions as well. And their cocktails are one of the best in Orlando. Definitely still a great restaurant in the Maitland area. Overall: A

I didn't get a chance to experience the sit down because they didn't have a table ready for me and my friend, so we sat at the bar which I didn't mind! The service was actually really good because of the gentleman that was helping us. Once the switch shifts the service wasn't as on point but it was still good. The food was amazing aside from the sautéed coconut shrimp that we had it wasn't that good but they were very accommodating and end up switching out the meal for wings which omg best choice ever! It was such a nice vibe! The bar tender also made me a drink which was actually very good. Me and my Bestfriend had a wonderful time . I will definitely be back with my boyfriend for sure because it was so such a nice experience

I had 30 places on my Mills 50 walking route that day, and Death in the Afternoon sat at the very…read moretop of my list. The name alone was enough to capture my imagination. It evokes another era, the 1930s and 1940s, a hidden place where people escaped reality for a few hours and where every whispered conversation felt a little more dangerous than it should. There is something about saying the name out loud that feels almost mischievous. Even before stepping inside, it conjures images of old Hollywood glamour, forbidden romance, and the kind of longing that filled classic films. The sort of place where people met not because they had to, but because they couldn't stay away. The space itself more than lives up to the promise of its name. Death in the Afternoon is one of the most visually interesting places Orlando has to offer. It feels intimate, mysterious, and wonderfully removed from the ordinary. I couldn't help but think of The Great Gatsby, not because of excess or extravagance, but because of that same sense of romance, possibility, and yearning for something just out of reach. In fact, I visited twice in the same afternoon. My first stop was simply to satisfy my curiosity and see if the reality matched the image I had built up in my head. It did. So after completing the rest of my three-hour Mills 50 walk, I found myself drawn back for a meal and a chance to enjoy the atmosphere a little longer. The menu is limited, so choose wisely. The salmon entrée was excellent and easily the standout of my meal. The Caesar salad was pleasant enough, but the salmon is what I would come back for. As a perfect ending to the day, a dear longtime Yelp colleague joined me and we spent some time catching up on the latest news and gossip in our circles. Good conversation, a memorable meal, and an atmosphere that feels like it belongs to another time. Death in the Afternoon is not just a restaurant. It's the kind of place that stays on your mind long after you've left. Make sure your stay is not over 2 hours tho ..
