After 6 months and full payment my system failed to produce a single watt. They outsourced the installation to a 3rd party and the crews were sloppy and not professional. They drilled holes all over my roof for the wrong panel layout and simply filled the old holes with white caulk after correcting the layout. My gutters are also bent from ladder placement on them. My system failed final inspection 3 times before passing, yet still didn't function when activated due to unknown errors. If using Semper I would insist on them not outsourcing the work so they can take direct responsibility for their work. Update: After posting this review my system was immediately fixed without delay. Fortunately all panels and inverters were great quality. 2 of my neighbors using Semper had excellent installs, but their installation was not outsourced. read more

This review appears to have gotten their attention. I was assigned a new project manager who was much better at communicating status and setting up meetings (including with the COO). She was able to document that Oakland Building did not know about the $1000 permit for Oakland Fire - so Semper had most of the deposit used up. I was given a meeting with the design team who did point out that I missed using a part that was not certified for use in the specific main panel I had. However, they did not take this and adapt the design using the correct part. Once I found the correct 200amp main breaker for the panel, I asked if that would be suitable but got a non-commital "It will be if the it is certified for the panel". I had expected the suggestion to move an adapted designed forward. Failing that, I decided to part ways. They have helpfully transferred the permit for installation of up to a 27kwh BESS to me that I can now transfer to another contractor or perhaps follow up on a different system that I can self install. read more

When Mann showed up to fix a factory glitch in our 3 year solar system I thought it's raining.. it's going to be a long day for him! His attitude was awesome as he diligently worked in the rain..getting soaked pretty good! I really liked his attitude even when the software wouldn't upgrade the first 3 times! I had Carlos Calderon come out to my house to give me Quote and so I decided to purchase from the company. At the time there was a special financing promotion which lured me in. A week later I got a call from the finance company regarding loan amount and etc. The finance company new nothing about the special offer and I tried reaching out to sales rep. Did not get any calls back. 4 days without a call back is not the way to go with a new customer. I cancelled immediately. Good job Carlos ! read more

Well unfortunately this isn't my first review of this company. December of 2020...my solar was installed. production of solar...zero in december. Partial production in january and february. I had questions about production and in early march I spoke with a member of senior leadership about it, it was about that time that he set me up with an app that can monitor my solar production. This was the first mention of an app. He did send out a service team of at least 4 people to service my system as it was established it wasn't producing. They didn't seem at all clear on why they were there or what the solution may be. In hindsight I realize they hit a couple of switches and buttons and did a reset of the system and told me they were all set. I had mentioned my frustration with the company (see my previous review from initial visits) and the fact that there was a significant amount of trash left by the shingle installers. I mention this because on my first trip back outside found more work related garbage right in front of the power panel where they were standing. They pushed buttons. There was no scrap generated during their visit. My trash can is in the driveway. Seriously guys? My bills seemed lower and I assumed everything was working. My true-up statement arrived in january of this year (read up on true-up. I hadn't heard of it before) and i pay extra in general with each bill. I owed $1800 on a bill that I didnt expect. My solar production lasted less than 2 months out of 14. Another serviceman, Manuel, came out and identified the problem in minutes. He kept me in the loop and followed through with appointments. My solar registers now. He has been the highlight of this company. I dont know why the previous crew didnt identify the problem. In any event I have asked about compensation a number of times and have again gotten nowhere. Jesus from leadership asked in email when I would be available to discuss it and even reached out by email again to ask the same. I responded both times with the last time being 11 days ago. Still struggling. Nearly 60 days after the company stated they had completed my install I am still without an operating system.

AWFUL, DISORGANIZED, INCOMPETENT (2.5 yr disaster) Work with literally anyone else. I engaged Semper to install batteries and hook up existing solar panels I already had on my roof. This took them 2.5 years. I spoke to literally 30+ people over the course of the project, none of whom had any idea what was going on at any point. They failed inspection 3x. They installed a safety bollard in the middle of my garage turning it into a 1-car garage which obviously doesn't work. The cherry on top was that they reviewed my account and attributed this disaster to regulatory complications, when for instance my project languished in their design review for 6-wks while we underwent utility black outs during fire season and my children took freezing cold showers. These guys are clowns and one of the biggest time sucks of my adult experience. Use their competitors. read more

We met with an agent and signed a contract in March, 2020. Our installation, including two fully refundable Tesla home batteries through pg&e, was completed over two years later without explanation, and they failed to meet two deadlines for our full rebate from PG&E, the final extended deadline having been today, 1-4-2023. During installation they caused multiple circuits in our home to blow out, and to date, these have not been fully restored, despite multiple attempts by their "pros" and our electrician to find the remedy for restoring full functioning in our home. Two years and ten months after signing a contract, we've have not received a rebate for two Tesla batteries guaranteed by PG&E, and our home continues to have multiple circuits non functioning, including most of our garage, outdoor security lights, and a few indoor circuit's. This is the worst company for communication, for lack of specific knowledge, lack of follow through and possibly conducting retaliatory practices because we complained that several major circuits in our home were blown and they could not restore them. I am located in the greater Sacramento area, and dealt with that highly questionable branch of the business that appears to have its main base in San Diego. read more

In January 2023, California NEM 3.0 was looming ahead and I was concerned about missing the opportunity to get solar panels and enjoy the benefits of NEM 2.0. I started a mad dash to get solar installed before that date. I started interviewing solar companies. At first blush it seemed that Semper Solaris had it together better than the two others I interviewed. The sales rep was responsive and answered my questions to my satisfaction. Plus it is a veteran owned company according to their advertisements. Why not use them. They did seem to cost more than the others, but I believe you get what you pay for. As long as they delivered as promised it would be worth it to me to have peace of mind. After I signed the contract, my sales rep became more and more distant. I wasn't surprised since she got the contract, but she did claim she would keep in touch which did not happen. During our discussions I expressed concerns whether I have to include my roof as well. Grains were coming off my shingles, and that had not happened before. Semper Solaris inspected my roof and said it was fine. I have many years of life left on my roof. I thought great. Semper Solaris installation crew were fast, efficient and friendly. The project finished as planned. The permits took awhile, although that was really the City and not Semper's fault. I received an email from Semper Solaris on August 29, 2023 indicating my system was completed and operating. I qualified for NEM 2.0. Around the date of September 13, I contacted Semper Solaris to indicate I lost a bunch of shingles after a wind storm. Two weeks after receiving correspondence my system was completed. I had never lost any shingles before and reiterated my concerns for my roof. Not until December (3 months after notifying them of my shingle loss) did I receive contact from Semper Solaris to inspect my roof. They had me agree that if Semper inspects my roof and determines that the damage is not caused by them, then it won't be under warranty and I would be charged $250. The timing of losing all those shingles a few months after they walked on my roof seemed more than coincidental, especially since before we ever started this project I continued expressed concerns about my roof. If my roof is healthy and I have lots of years left, I shouldn't have to fix shingles a few months after installation. On December 13, the Semper Solaris crew inspected my roof and determined that they are not responsible. I am waiting for my $250 bill. Furthermore, they went on to say they can fix my roof and will provide an estimate. Despite the fact that I expressed my concerns before ever starting this project that I wanted to make sure my roof is ok and would last. Now I am forced to repair at the least and maybe something more at the most. Semper has indicated on my single family home, ranch style that all my ridge caps need to be replaced. They would fix it for $2,500. But they would offer me a 10% discount for $2,250. So with the original charge of $250 to come out and inspect my home, I'm back up to $2,500. Again, if my roof is in such peril, why didn't Semper tell me at the time and I could have addressed it at that point. But now not even six months later (3 months delay on their end) I am forced to consider replacing my ridge caps. As I sit here and contemplate my options, if I had to do it all over again, I would have used a less expensive vendor and had my roof included in this process. To anybody else who wants to consider using Semper, I would think twice. There are too many other companies out there charging less and providing the same service. Also, getting an independent roofer to inspect your roof would be better than using Semper's all in one service. They have a vested interest here to navigate the sales cycle in their favor. My long tenure with Semper Solaris did not go off without a hitch, but looking back at it. I'm happy. They did end up standing by the contract and now we have a really great system, a great roof, and I'm happy with how it turned out. Solar is a pretty major thing to do. I did not realize and there are complexities. But it's covering all of our electrical which I'm so glad we did as prices keep rising. And I'm glad I did my route with them so that it seamlessly attaches to the solar. I sometimes I can take some elbow grease to get through to the right people or to get things done, but in general, I found it to be a quality company that stands by their work if you are a good self advocate. read more

If you are looking to add solar to your home, please proceed with caution. We had a miserable time communicating with Sempar Solaris and they had multiple delays at our expense. For context, our solar panels were installed in September 2020 but they were not activated until February 2021. I am very understanding that COVID caused many delays all around, however, this was 6 months of time waiting to use a service that we were ACTIVELY paying for. We would always receive calls that someone would get back to us and these calls would go on for weeks on months before anything actually happened. All that we asked was that Sempar Solaris rectify the extra cost they incurred to us since we had to pay 6 months of our solar loan (even though we weren't able to use solar) AND PGE! We only asked to be reimbursed for whichever bill was lowest for those months. Then we went back and forth with customer rep Laney for ANOTHER 6 MONTHS before they agreed to send us a measly $200 for our inconvenience. Don't waste your time and energy on them. read more

I really wish I wasn't writing this review, but I cannot get any traction with communicating with this company. At every step of the way there have been delays. Unless I instigate the conversation, nothing moves forward. I call, wait on hold, get someone who doesn't know me, and am told I will get a call back. That doesn't happen and then I get to do the whole thing again. The only exception is when I find someone who confidently misinforms me, and then I get to start over when I am able to determine I was misinformed. Any time I have asked for a manager or supervisor, anyone I can call back if things don't go as promised I am told that such a person is not available. Really the most frustrating experience with a contractor of my adult life, and so much money invested. read more

I am very happy with my Semper Solaris solar installation. I particularly liked that the sales consultant didn't try to over-power us. He undersold the number of panels we were set to purchase by greater than 25%. we're excited to see how the year turns out. We're 6 months in, and tracking very well to have our solar system supply 100% of our power this year! It took a little more time to get through the pre-install formalities that we thought it would, including permitting, engineering and backlog. Once Semper was ready for the install, it occurred quickly. We were fitting the install in, either before or after a planned vacation, it was a bit dicey but worked out fine in the end. Semper used a subcontractor to do the work. The Semper coordination with the subcontractor and us was just okay. They returned for some minor follow up issues w/o coordinating with us, they just showed up... One time, as we were loading our bags in the car as we were leaving for the airport! This wasn't a serious issue for us, but it pointed out the minor difficulties with 3-party coordination. Speaking of which, the couple of items they came back for were minor, but showed an interest in getting the details right which was appreciated. These two callbacks were self initiated by either Semper or their sub. I check the system regularly, it is easy to do. You can check power output/consumption either on-line or at any point in time by looking at the meter. Our system appears to be performing as engineered. I'll report back when we "true-up" in August! I am a tough customer, and I recommend Semper Solaris. read more

We are very disappointed in this company. We had issues with them during the installation of repeated delays. We bought a backup battery for power outages and it is not working. We called them about it but and they said they can't guarantee someone will be out this weekend. The battery is supposed to be backup for our freezer and fridge. Now we have to worry about the food going bad. I would never recommend this company. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY!! Everything they promised, was a lie! AC was suppose to be installed in 1-4 weeks, it took 10 weeks. The Solar was suppose to be installed 8-10 weeks, it's been 21 weeks with absolutely no progress! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The communication was non existent, we had inspectors and AC instillation crews show up unannounced. we reached out to Semper Solaris numerous times with no response. Whenever we did get ahold of someone, they told us "there aren't any notes on our file and they would have to do some investigating and get back to us". Which they never got back to us. We originally signed back in July 2021, they drug their feet for so long that now our finance approval has lapsed and Semper Solaris wants us to sign a new finance agreement that is beyond the amount that we agreed on originally. read more

Overall great experience. We purchased solar and two batteries. Mel was our sales rep and was helpful in making sure we properly sized our system, especially the battery back up. The install took a little longer than expected but that was primarily because of the delay at PG&E to upgrade my electrical. Shout out to Ruben and our crew for a their great work. A team member did have to come back to wrap up a couple of open items but they were minor and it happened quickly. Very happy to have my batteries in place, and about my decision to go with Semper Solaris. read more

This is possibly the worst solar company around. Totally irresponsible... took them more than 12 months to install my panels. Then they did everything wrong and not according to the plans and then it took them another 4 months to come and fix and then they screwed up the batteries and still nothing works. They got paid 8 months ago but still system not working and I'm getting no rebate. They never follow up unless you call them 10 times and escalates. A true disaster company to work with. Please stay away from them. I'm seriously thinking about calling Contracotor license board and ask to cancel their license. They are danger to the community. read more

What more can be said besides the poor ratings and reviews you will read below... mostly all bad. I had a lot of confidence in this company after reading some good reviews, but they have gone downhill. Besides, they don't install or even MAKE these panels, they just contract it all out. Installation & Inspection were great... but it wasn't Semper doing it! The communication in this company is broken. I have the Hayward office in charge of my installation, but they don't call. I have a project manager located in San Diego, who doesn't know anything. The SD office doesn't even talk to the Hayward office! I was told many conflicting things (you're done, nothing more to sign) vs. you will be getting a document, sign it right away! What?? Too many people to call, and the project doesn't move unless you call them. The Semper salesman committed to having the project up and running by Y/E so we could get our 30% rebate (it's the last year for this), and here it is 12/18, and we're still waiting. While they blame PG&E for taking 1-4 weeks, it says on PG&E's site that they only take 10-15 business days for permission to operate. What a lie they told us! I've been calling someone EVERY DAY to keep this job moving, otherwise it would NOT be done by year end. Still crossing my fingers! read more

Well, I'm one of those who had their contracts pushed back. We signed our contract on June 3rd, 2019. Today it's 6 months and 4 days past. They measured lighting levels within a week or two since the signing date and then done literally nothing. Last 3 months I was constantly pinging them via email, and all they gave me were apologies and courtesy calls. However, the situation didn't change. And given the rain season start and the Christmas week I don't think they'll manage to finish the project in this year. And on January 1st, 2020 I'll cancel my contract. I'd do it two months ago when I realised this company cannot deliver, but at that moment all the solar providers were already booked till the end of the year. I saw the owner replying to the similar complaints on Yelp. It's about the "influx of customers looking for solar after the PG&E blackouts". Pardon me, but I don't buy it. The first blackout happen in October, 4 (FOUR!!!) months past the date we've signed the contract. It doesn't matter how many people came to Semper Solaris after that, my contract should have been executed before all those people's contracts. The only way how that "influx" could delay my contract by half a year is if this company does a contracts cherry-pick in favor of more profitable ones. No doubts, they can make more profit on a solar + battery contract vs a regular "just solar". But by treating customers this way they lose trust. If you're looking for a provider, think twice before choosing this one. Remember, that every provider offers warranty on the work. And if this company treats their customers by the amount of profit from the contract, what are your chances to get good and prompt warranty coverage? What if your roof starts leaking? Every day of waiting will be adding damage to the house, but Semper Solaris may be too busy to help you, fighting with another "influx of customers". read more

2023 Update. With the recent rains, we have now had three separate leaks in our brand new roof. Each time that they repair the faulty seams (or actual un-welded holes), they tell us they have checked the entire roof for additional problems before leaving. Then, there is a new leak which makes me wonder not just why it was so poorly installed, but if they know how to check for additional problems. We are currently waiting for someone to respond to our emails and texts to come and repair the latest one that leaked over one of our bookshelves. read more

Personal experience with Semper is bad and getting worse. They undersized the estimate for number of panels and then fought me when I requested 2 additional. Only under threat of cancellation did I finally get them to comply ( at added cost :)) it should be noted that all the installation was by a sub contractor, not by Semper. I'm not sure of exactly what role Semper played other than billing for job? Then when I posted a review of their performance I received a call from Semper asking why I gave s bad review as an example I said the phone app they connected to the system was only halfway connected and not functional they told me I would have to pay an additional fee for the repair/ connection/ setup(?). Reading through other postings on Semper I find others are having the same bad experiences I've had. While they reply to each complaint nothing is done to correct the issues other than week attempts to explain the problem away. read more

Everything went great for me. Took just over 2 months from start to finish. I had emails updating me through every step. Install took less than a day and luckily no leaks from the new holes in the roof. Now I make tons of power and don't have to pay sdge. I'd recommend them. read more

After they installed the solar panel and collected the check, there's zero support. I called PGE to see what the status of my application is and they said they haven't received it. I contacted Semper and they keep on referring me to a 800 number to call. No one picks up, after 30 mins call drops automatically, left voice messages numerous times but no one calls back. Email responses are very short and unhelpful. They've sent me a docu-sign for Agreement and Authorization pdf after I escalated the issue and then another week goes by and they sent me the same AA docu-sign. They use the name veteran owned but do not live up to any of the military values, very disappointed. read more

Not to put too fine a point on it, but our experience with Semper was pretty awful, from start to finish. I don't mean just annoying and vaguely less than on the ball awful, the two-star variety of awful. I mean such a relentless, ever-rolling stream of screw-ups that it became a family joke. Because, you know, sometimes all you can do is laugh. To start with, it took them nearly a year and four months after we signed the contract to get the system up and running. But mere slowness is not what lands them in one star land. It's their unbridled, relentless, needless screwups that led directly to these delays. Here are the highlights of our depressing slog with Semper: * In January 2020, after a couple months of back and forth with our sales person, we studied the proposal he had given us detailing the price, system size, physical components, and promised energy generation, and chose Semper over two other companies. Within literally minutes after signing the contract, however, the sales person emailed back to us saying that oops, he'd mistakenly given us too low a price, and would need to charge us about $3,000 more. We, being in possession of a basic understanding of how a legal contract works, said no. This set off a couple of months of relentlessly, exhaustingly trying to get the corporate office to acknowledge the contract that the sales person had signed (which they finally did, only after I finally got hold of a top company manager. Who did not apologize.) * When they started designing our system, they told us that oops, they'd mistakenly underestimated the number of panels we'd need to generate the level of production they'd promised us, and would need to charge us roughly $3,000 more to add the additional panels. So another round of weeks of explaining to them that when you sign a contract with certain specs, it's actually binding on you. * Months went by after that hearing nothing. I contacted their customer service line, which is staffed entirely by nice, chipper people who are utterly unfamiliar with your particular project, they're just messengers. And this particular chipper messenger assured us, week after week, that our permit would be issued shortly - about three or four times, she told us we'd get our permit "in only two weeks now!"; and then told me he exact same thing again when the permit didn't actually materialize in that time frame. Well, I got suspicious and actually called the County permitting staff, and found out that they had identified problems with the permit application and sent it back to Semper with comments - which Semper had simply let drop. So, I spent another several months sorting that all out. With Semper continuing to give me information that was plainly wrong about the permit issuance status, again and again. * When we finally got the permit, installation was a comedy of errors. Semper operates on such a decentralized model that they cannot even keep basic scheduling or project status straight. We embarked on another six months of utter scheduling chaos. Workers would not show up when scheduled, but then would show up unannounced, having no idea at all what the status of our installation was or what they were supposed to be doing. Inspectors would show up at our house and wait around and ultimately leave frustrated because the Semper rep had failed to come. One or two scheduling screwups would be annoying, but it was relentless and constant. * When we finally got the system running, we discovered that they had basically broken our HVAC system when doing a simple add-on (soft start) to our AC system. They eventually fixed it, but not before walking away and leaving us without heat on a cold night. This list doesn't by any means capture it all - it's just the highlights. An overall problem with Semper, in addition to their decentralization, seems to be that they are understaffed. The one person I finally identified who was actually consistently helpful and knowledgeable (thank you Jessica!) had a huge workload and little assistance. What Semper needs to do is get rid of their model of using a generic customer service line (the chipper messengers) and assign a single project manager - with technical chops - to each sale. Who will see the personally project through start to finish, be consistently on top of all the scheduling and technical details, and be consistently available to the customer. And who, needless to say, should understand the legal meaning of a contract. Until and unless they completely revamp their business model, I would stay far away from this company. read more

I'm not sure how they do it but semper seems to manage to have my negative review removed for one reason or another. Do not believe this company! They outsource everything and I never worked with any veterans, the service was awful and the billing is deceitful. I spend almost a year having to manage them while they screwed up permitting, billing and any communication. They will say what you want to hear to get a contract but then it's all downhill. I have a Solaredge system installed by Semper Solaris. The first thing I noted when they did the installation is that the work didn't pass inspection, something not up to code. You would think their experienced installers would know what was necessary to meet the code requirements. This might suggest they were using inexperience people or subcontractors to do the installation. This all caused a delay. I've had the system for about 11 months and finding a $1000 true-up bill. So, the system they sold me was underpowered. Well, it was new home for me at the time and I didn't have a lot of PG&E data to supply them. But, I found that solar installers have can use some pretty good software that can estimate the requirements in a given region with x bedrooms, sqft of home, based on historical climate data, they should be able to provide a reasonable estimate for the home and simply overshoot it a little. Obviously, that didn't work out. So, my solution was to call my salesman, explain the situation and ask him to quote me for more panels. I had done some research on the SolarEdge inverters which indicated they can be DC oversized, by 150%. In other words, it should have no problems handling up to 11 additional panels (based on current panel ratings). I asked for 10 new panels. The salesman came back and gave me an overpriced quote that included an additional inverter. I told him I don't need the inverter, I just want to add panels. He said they don't sell panels without inverter! WHAT?! They sold me a system that was under powered and then when I want to add panels, I have to get another inverter?! Then I started calling around some other companies who said that's ridiculous. But recommended I stick with Semper Solaris to maintain the warranty. Then I called the Semper Tech support people and they told me they add panels all the time for various reasons like when someone add and EV car. So, I went back to sales and asked for a different salesman. (and that's after the support guy tells me to contact sales to add panels only). Again, he gave me the same story, "We don't sell panels without inverters." WTF!!! To top it off, the salesman gave me a quote for silfab panels. He told me that other quotes from other companies might have better prices but they provide lesser spec panels. So, when I went to do the research I found that the other companies, who gave me quotes with QCells and REC AA, had better specs than Silfab, and they charged far less overall, than Semper. I'm not talking about a small difference in price. Semper's price was up to $4000 more than other quotes I got from other companies (with inverter). So, I feel like I'm not only got a bum deal, they are still trying to shaft me. Seems all they care about is making more money and less about making me satisficed. Since then, I am helping another family member install solar on their home. We got quotes from several companies including Semper. Semper's quote was comparable, but with lesser spec-ed panels. They ended up settling for a smaller company. I asked to look at the contract and what I noticed was a much lesser valued warranty from Semper. For example, the other company provided a 25 year roof warranty and my Semper contract covered the roof for 10 years. I now caution people who are buying new systems to pay attention to the details. I'm still trying to figure out how to add my 10 additional panels. And, I don't know why this is so hard for the company. The other gripe I had was the original salesman had gotten sick so every time I tried to connect with him, he was taking 1-2 weeks to respond. It would have been perfectly okay to just hand-off the job to another salesman, but the he didn't want to do that. I'm just exhausted with this company. But for the warranty, I'm stuck with them. read more

If you want to spend an hour with a Xenophobic sales rep who believes in "America First" and constantly China bashes, and who insists on giving you a 1 hour condescending sales pitch, this is your company! Most roofers step onto your roof and provide an accurate estimate. These guys don't spend a minute on the roof for their quote (I imagine you might expect big shifts later when they 'discover' what you need). Given the level of xenophobic "China Bashing" as bill referred to it, I politely escorted the sales rep out. Alarmingly, he insisted on emailing me back and forth to debate his mistakes. Infact, he even said he was kicked out before for 'China Bashing' too. Yikes. I asked Bill to let me know if he would like to have his supervisor give me a call. Will update you if that happens. Otherwise, we can only assume that this behavior is reflective of the company. Skip the harassment, and pick a company with shared values. This is too big a purchase. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY!!!!! THEY WILL JERK YOU AROUND UNTIL YOU GIVE UP When we decided to get solar we thought we had done a good job selecting the Semper Solaris to do our solar panels. The advertisement was great, the warranty given to us was phenomenal and the sales person Mr Francisco Barrios was extremely professional and answered all of our questions. We had just bought our house and the PGE would have been too high every month to supply a 4100 sq home. We made the decision to make a huge investment on our new home by installing 25 panels, with a cost of $35,000. The technicians that came were professionals and polite. Even when they ran late we understood that it happens sometimes. They were some sloppy work done and multiple roof tiles were broken but instead of changing them they said nothing. In Feb 2020 we got our bill, or Tue-up for $3,293. from PGE. We were in shock how can it be if we have 25 solar panels. We called Semper Solaris to come and ck the panels, but Covid happen. We got a technician to come down in May/April and he confirmed that multiple inverters have not been working and need it to be replaced. He also mentioned that he will be replacing the broken tiles. Because of Covid it took until mid June and July to get the inverters changed. Well, we asked the technician what's going to happen to my PGE bill that it's so high because of the failing panels and he assured us the the company will reimburse us the cost for the unproductive panels. It's March of 2021, we have spoken to everyone and we keep being ignored by the high ups of this company. They are blaming SunPower for faulty equipment, and SunPower doesn't want to own up to it. The last person to speak to was Adrian Dill and he said he would look into it. Adrián sent the True-up PGE for them to reimburse us of what the panels didn't produce. I sent him another email to follow up on the complaint, and we haven't gotten any response. We spoke to Adrian Conception, from SunPower and without even seeing the True-up bill he said $500 and the case is closed. We just want Semper Solaris to make it right. We bought these panels through them, under the understanding that we were dealing with a great company. A company that takes care of their clients and stands behind their warranty. Semper Solaris has let us down, we shouldn't have to be the ones chasing after SunPower, that should be handled between the two companies. Semper Solaris should take care of this matter because the agreement was between us them. We are about to make a huge complaint with Better Bussiness Bureau for an investigation in this matter. I have to clarify as this all started in November and it's been a nightmare just when you think it's been all the way to January 20th water coming in my living room like water fall since November 11th isn't right but I'm reassured they are sending a Restoration company to get things done right but no in stead is one guy that thinks it's ok to tape it coat it so that all the other wet crap mold contamination area aren't delt with just crap again I think it's horrible I wrote a review being honest no reply but I changed it on the 20th thinking ok they are going to get everything fixed our carpet walls ceilings windows shutters Christmas tree ornaments hand made on and on ruined our furniture has been exposed to water this sucks read more

If you value your time and expect a company to communicate with you....STAY AWAY from Semper. We are now 9 weeks from the first time the guys showed up to install the batteries. Still not completed. They make promise after promise that they do not keep. Despite 8 phone calls to the company and multiple promises for management to call me back...no one does. All I hear are excuses as to why they cannot come back to complete job in a timely manner. Covid, family emergency...and my favorite...we are very busy....etc. etc. Work hours are strange as well. Guys show up at 10, take a lunch break and are gone by 3...without having finished the job. I am super frustrated and wish I had gone with a different company. Take it from me....even though everything looks positive and wallet friendly in the beginning, you will regret doing business with them. read more
