Our party of 7 enjoyed these items: * Beef Jerky $13.95 - Our fellow dining companions never had Thai Jerky before and really enjoyed this! They'll be on the lookout for it on other menus. It's served with two sauces - Thai seafood dip and Jaew dip. * Chicken Larb $16.45 - Good. * Panang Curry with Fried Tofu $17.45 - Really enjoyed this as leftovers the next day. * Tom Kha with Fried Tofu $17.45 - Their version has a more a red hue and seems a bit thicker. But still very enjoyable nonetheless. * Pad See Eiw $16.45 - I don't order Pad See Eiw very often but really enjoyed their version. It makes me think I should probably order it more. * Mango Sticky Rice - The owner was gracious to offer this dessert on the house and seeing that colored sticky rice just transported me back to Thailand. (It makes me very curious to see what else he'll have at his dessert shop.) Overall, it was a really great meal. We enjoyed everything and didn't have any issues at all. Called in for takeout after a long day of flights. Was really craving spicy noodle soup. It was ready by the time I drove from my house (10 minutes). Lady who answered the phone, also checked me out and packaged my order. Very jovial lady (even at almost midnight). I ordered the chicken Tom Yum noodle soup with fat/flat noodles spice level 4/5. It was surprisingly not spicy enough, but they had extra spices on the side added with ones I have from home and it perfectly hit the spot. I definitely needed this. As is, soup has minced and sliced chicken, fish balls, fried fish cake, bok choy, steamed bean sprouts and crushed peanuts. Saw the reviews on this place and was curious on trying it eventually. Finally had a chance to try it late last night and ordered the Thai Boat Noodle Soup with spice level 2. The soup was very good. The broth was very savory and herby. The braised beef was super tender and fell apart so easily. Super tasty! My girlfriend ordered the fresh coconut and the BBQ Pork Wonton soup. It was also very good. All the food our group ordered had very good presentation. The waitress was on point with refills and helping us on our order also. A very cool thing when ordering the coconut, once you drink all the water they even cut all the meat out so you can eat it afterwards which was unexpected but appreciated! We showed up late night at 11 but it was such a good vibe. We enjoyed our food and and left full at midnight. The food was great the only thing I wish was that the menu had more photos or details of what the dishes are. I tried looking online beforehand to see if I can find reviews of the dishes I wanted to try and luckily a few reviewers included photos. This is more of a personal thing but other than that everything was great. This was my first time trying Thai noodle soup and this experience will definitely bring me back. I even drank all the broth leaving the bowl completely empty which is a massive compliment to say the least. I came here on Thursday night so there was no trouble getting parking or a table at all. Service was friendly and the place was clean. I ordered the khao soi with crispy duck with spice level 2 out of 5, and had a bite of my friend's boat noodles. I expected the crispy duck to have some skin (like on roast duck), but it was battered and fried instead - which isn't necessarily bad, just unexpected. The curry seemed a bit more watered down than I've had at other places, but it wasn't bad. Not spicy at all though. I'd say the portions were just right, and decent for the money. The boat noodle broth was very tasty. Overall, I'd come back here for Thai food that's not hard to get a table for, but maybe get the khao soi spicier. read more

This was a new Thai place we tried while in the Las Vegas area. Their Drunken noodles were delicious and their Thai boat soup was excellent. The soup wasn't as brothy or thin as Pho soup would be. It has a thicker consistency that paired well with the noodles and beef. It has great deep flavor and was just right. The service was good and their staff were amazing with all of our requests. We spoke for a bit and they said this place has just opened about a year ago. The place was full of different decor and authentic pieces from Thailand. The wife wanted late nite Thai food. What can I say? Happy wife happy life! lol It's was past 10pm and the only Thai place we could find in Southwest side of town was Khao Soi Thai Style Noodle house. Upon entering the entrance was wide and clean. We approached the booths and saw the server who greeted us and asked us to choose our own seats which we did. She proceeded to take our drinks orders but we went ahead and ordered our entree as well. We've been coming here for years but didn't realize they had changed their name. Stopped by for a quick lunch and it never disappoints! Restaurant was empty when we came in so we got seated right away. The place has been renovated and is very modern and minimalistic. The menu looked to be the same as before so we got the appetizer platter and our favorite fried chicken over fried rice. They both hit the spot for sure. Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside as usual. Service was outstanding as well. I didn't expect such good Thai food at an anonymous corner in Las Vegas. It was a 7 minute drive from our hotel, it's New Year eve, we were tired and hungry. We called to make sure they were open and were informed that they were closing early. We had 40 minutes to order and pick up our food. I had possibly the best Pad See Ew with shrimp in recent memory. It was perfectly savory, the noodles were moist, soft and covered with fried garlic. We also enjoyed the Mango Salad. The mango slices were crunchy as they should be, the dressing was perfect and the cashews were a nice touch. The only criticism I have is that the dish was a bit heavy on the raw onions, especially the yellow variety. The purple onion slices were sufficient. Very generous portion, flavorful broth, and perfectly cooked duck. It was a touch watery and we wished the pickled veggies came on the side, plus the egg noodles were thinner than we prefer. Still, it was a solid 4-star dish, though we'd say the khao soi from Weera or Lotus of Siam still edges it out. The Seafood Panang Curry was the standout. It was creamy, balanced, and packed with shrimp, squid, fish, and mussels. The Beef Kao Lao Hotpot was another surprise favorite, with a rich, hearty broth full of tender beef morsels, beef balls, and veggies that added great depth. Service was good. Water was always refilled and food arrived hot. Our server checked in on us to ensure everything was to our liking. We were looking to see if anything is still opened and was surprised that there was actually a place near our house that was open till 1am! We showed up at 11:30pm. We've been here before, years ago. I came in around 1:30pm and seated myself. Only one gentleman in front who took care of the dining area and phone orders. He promptly greeted me and came by with a menu. I decided on the crispy duck Khao Soi seeing that it's their popular dish. I was a bit disappointed that by crispy, it's just the duck being batter fried. I was hoping that it would be fried so the skin would be crispy. I'm not a huge fan of the batter being soggy. The flavor however of the dish was very tasty. Halfway through I was full as I wanted to save room for the coconut icecream and sticky rice. There are crushed peanuts on top of this decadent dessert to add that texture. I live down the street from Khao Soi and I never paid much attention to it when it was called something else (I think Thai Style Noodles), but I've had Khao Soi before and enjoyed it so I figured why not try it? I went in on a weekday afternoon, around noon , and the place was empty. The lady who greeted me was super nice and very welcoming. She answered all my questions thoughtfully and gave some suggestions. They also had a lunch special which was decently price given it came with salad and an egg roll. Given the name, I decided to go with the chicken Khao Soi ($18). It was displayed in a wide flat bowl which was different since I couldn't really tell how much broth was in it, but there was a good amount! The noodles were cooked well, chicken was decent, it had pickled vegetables, and the broth was rich nd flavorful. My only note is that I wish the broth was hotter in temperature. I also got the chicken satay which was good. The chicken may have been a tad overcooked but after dipping it in the peanut sauce, you won't even notice. The restaurant was really nice and updated. They did a good job with the simplistic style. Plus their playlist was awesome. It's like jazz covers of currenr music. Overall, I'd come back. You'll find them near Chevron gas station at Concorde Plaza, right behind Lucky's and next to Scoop Ice Cream and Boba. There's good parking available. Massaman Pineapple Curry ($15.95) is wonderful and absolutely delicious! The khao soi was the best I ever had, aromatic curry broth with the perfect balance of creaminess and spice, and the noodles were cooked just right. It tasted authentic and deeply comforting. The fish cakes were flavorful and bouncy, clearly made fresh and well-seasoned. The papaya salad had a great balance of tangy, spicy, and savory, refreshing but still packed with flavor. We also ordered pad se ew, which had a nice smoky wok flavor and just the right level of heat. The catfish dish was excellent, crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired beautifully with the sauce. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and true to Thai flavors. Came here after our hike to get lunch when Khao Soi opened. It was pretty empty when we arrived but became pretty packed when we left. Since the name of the restaurant was called Khao Soi so I guess I had to get a noodle dish so I got the boat noodle. I also wanted some vegetable so I got the spicy eggplant as well. You can select the spiciness of 1-5 for each dish. My friend got the egg roll and pork larb. The boat noodle was decent, I got it with wide noodle, but felt that there was too little noodle? I ate the whole bowl (not all the soup) and still felt pretty hungry. It came with a selection of different cuts of beef. My spicy eggplant was pretty good, it was not deep fried first so it won't taste as soft as the chinese restaurant kind of eggplant. But it was lightly seasoned, not overpowering, sweet, savory and delicious as a second dish. My friend's egg roll was pretty good, nicely seasoned. It's only a $7 dessert, but they really should have either comped it for the birthday or at least asked before adding more charges. One of the worst Thai restaurant experiences I've had. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was hostile and unwelcoming. The lady who took my order didn't greet us or speak respectfully--she literally said, "what you want?" and kept using her hand to motion for us to hurry up like we were wasting her time. It felt extremely rude and uncomfortable, especially considering we were there to spend money and enjoy a meal. To make things worse, the tables were dirty, which immediately gave us a bad feeling about the cleanliness overall. We had to sit down at a table that looked like it hadn't been properly wiped down, and that's not something you should ever have to deal with at a restaurant. Sadly, the food matched the service. Everything we tried was lacking flavor--bland, under-seasoned, and honestly disappointing for a Thai restaurant where you expect bold, fresh taste. The worst part was the meat: it had a strong gamey taste that made it hard to eat, and it left us genuinely worried about getting sick afterward. When you're paying restaurant prices, you shouldn't be second-guessing the quality or safety of the food. We spent over $114 and left feeling ripped off and frustrated. Between the disrespectful attitude, the dirty tables, and the disappointing food, I would not recommend this place. There are plenty of other Thai spots that serve better food and treat their customers with basic kindness and respect--this is not one of them. read more
