Great little neighborhood Thai spot. It's small and cozy inside, with friendly service and a relaxed feel. I had the Crying Tiger, which was really good, and the dipping sauce was excellent. My husband had the Pad See Ew along with a curry, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. One thing I'm not a fan of is when restaurants offer a free item or incentive in exchange for writing a Yelp review and then show them. I understand why they do it, but I do think it can skew the reviews a bit. That aside, this is a really solid neighborhood Thai restaurant. First time at Chalong Thai Street Kitchen and was blown away by how good everything was. Went with my aunt on Mon 08/10 and we were told to seat wherever we'd like. The restaurant is quite small but they have the cutest little outdoor patio; although we did decide on indoor seating due to the weather being too warm out. We waited a bit to get our order in because they were a bit busy but regardless the servers were efficient and the kitchen was quick to get our food out to the table. Best Thai Tea I've ever had in Vegas thus far! The Mango Sticky rice was incredible from the flavor to the freshness. I had Shrimp Spring Rolls and the Drunken Noodles; both dishes were absolutely delicious. I wish I got more photos but hopefully the ones provided give the restaurant justice. We just moved to this area and have been wanting to find a go to Thai spot, this place has checked all of our boxes! When we came it the restaurant it was small but very atmospheric and we were seated right away. The menu was large but well organized. We ended up ordering Panang curry with chicken, chow mein pad kee mao with crispy chicken and spicy eggplant with tofu and they were all delicious!! My favorite was the panang curry, it was very flavorful and creamy. We also ordered the fried banana with coconut ice cream for dessert and that was very tasty as well. As a Vegas local growing up in town when it comes to South East Asian food especially being Laotian I'm very particular on how the fare should taste. The ambiance in this place is very romantic and contemporary especially having cultural wallpapers and details inside shows how proud and vibrant Thai culture is. Inside there were different cultures enjoying the fare making it much more wholesome to see different kind of people trying Thai food. Their menu is very balanced and had a variety of authentic Thai food for a very reasonable price not to mention they had a clutch lunch special menu. We got the chance to order Thai tea and iced coffee so refreshing and delicious came with the right amount of half and half milk on top so good this was a must try to order for drinks. As for food we ordered red chicken curry on the lunch special menu. The curry was very well balanced with chicken, red and green bell peppers, bamboo, red curry, and topped with coconut cream so delicious. This curry lunch special came with a salad with house dressing, vegetable egg roll, and cream cheese wonton. I would say the red curry dish was the star of the show paired well with the side of right rice so good and the flavors were on point. The Essan sausage were also delicious especially because it came with a bed of lettuce, fresh sliced ginger, sliced garlic, and fresh shallots with Thai peppers on the side. The detail and garnish alone made a big difference so good and savory shows the flavors of northern Thai fare. First time eating here and it was sooo good. Selected a dish from their recommended menu and it did not disappoint. I chose 1 as the level of spice but I could have gone up to 3 and it would have given me the little extra kick I wanted for the curry. I've eaten at other Thai spots and a 3 is typically extreme, here it is perfect. I'm also use to a little thicker curry but flavor was on point. Not too busy for a Friday evening. The dessert though? I am amazed at all of the positive reviews and it's why I gave it a shot, well that and the die said to come here... I ordered yellow curry, vegan style and fried rice, vegan style + egg. My brother ordered Pork skewers and beef jerky. He said the jerky was tough and chewy. He said the pork was mostly fat, not hardly any meat. I loved the curry, the Veggies were perfectly cooked, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, onions, Potatoes. The fried rice had egg shells in it. My husband and I were excited to order from here because of all of the 5-star reviews! Our favorite Thai place closed down last year so we have been looking for a new go-to. We ordered a pad see ew spice level 1, a tom yum fried rice spice level 2, a Thai papaya salad spice level 4, and the tom yum noodle soup level 3. All for takeout. I have a higher than average spice tolerance and had been looking forward to tasting the spiciness, but were disappointed when the Thai papaya salad and tom yum noodle soup both didn't live up to their spice levels, feeling like they didn't have any spice at all. The papaya salad had like two Thai chilis, but I should be able to taste the spice without biting directly into the chilis. I'm not sure if the restaurant assumed that I couldn't handle Thai spicy since they didn't see me until I came to pick up my food, but I was severely disappointed. The food tasted fine, but as someone who loves the spiciness of Thai food, I was really looking forward to it. We are willing to give the restaurant another chance since we know it'll probably be better if we eat there in person, but we would also still like to be able to order takeout without worrying if we'll even get any spice or not. read more

They have bar for beer, wine, and sake, happy hour 4-9:30pm. They are a family owned business with attentive service. Eddie, part of the owner, constantly checked on us, gave us honest recommendations, and asked us if we loved the food or if there's anything they can improve. Definitely a business who cares and will go for a long successful way. Must try the spring rolls and panang curry. The drunken noodles are good, coming with a lot of veggies, mushrooms, bamboos, and baby corns, but I would prefer more basil flavors, same as the Thai basil, definitely can add more basils to enhance the flavor.
