Great to see the Seneca Casinos being so inclusive. Attended their Pride post parade party yesterday. Although the weather did not cooperate, the event was very nice. They had a drag performance, which included being able to get VIP access to a meet and greet, which happened upstairs at the western door. Spacious area with very cute decor. Then outside in the parking lot were some food trucks. This is also where the the stage was setup for the performance. Due to the weather there were over 25 vendors that were located in the bottom area of the parking ramp. It was such a nice vibe. Security was in full force, even staffed with Marshalls. Would definitely go again and recommend checking the event out. The casino was also doing a cash give away every half hour of 500.00 cash, of you were playing the slots! read more

Great machine variety and typical casino atmosphere. This casino has a large and free parking garage, which we appreciated. Upon entering the space, we noticed that there were hundreds of machines and that the space was buzzing with customers. We tried numerous machines and had a fun time with each. We didn't win, but were able to get a couple hours of gameplay in. The odds seemed fairly normal based on my experience with other casinos. I was impressed that there was a variety of new games and retro games. Also, there were many of the visually stunning tall-screen games, which I was happy about. In other casinos I've been to, there were so few of these games available that I've had trouble getting on those games. This casino seems to have improved since some of the other reviews were written in terms of cleanliness. I didn't notice any issues. I also enjoyed the fact that they had a live DJ spinning on a Friday night. I was never offered a drink by a server and my card was very finicky with the machines. This is the stupidest casino in the world. Walked in and went to the ATM to withdraw $300, the ATM then froze and I continued to wait 15 minutes before it said out of service. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes before anyone came to help me, which then they were no help at all and took me to the counter where they said they couldn't give me my $300 but the entire time it was withdrawn from my account. This casino is so clean and bright! I really love how nice it is on the inside, you walk in and instantly want to spend lots of money. Haha There is a nice bar in the middle that serves free bottled water and offers beers and we'll drinks. There is a really great restaurant on the upper floor as well. There are servers that will walk around and take drink orders whole you are sitting playing a game. There are slots, poker games, black jack, etc. So there is plenty to keep you busy There is almost always a line at the cashier though which seems to be a regular problem but they do have machines throughout the floor where you can cash out your stub and get money right from the machine so you can often avoid the lines. My biggest complaint is that there is a smoking section and anyone who has ever been in a building that allows smoking knows that you can taste and smell those cancer sticks whether you are in the smoking section or not. This review and 5 stars is for The Creek restaurant. Went there last Friday evening with daughter and sister. I didn't have photos on my mind, and didn't really plan on doing a review, but the fish fry I had was so good-- proof is that I'm thinking of it 5 days later-- that I had to Yelp it. I substituted a house salad for the French fries, though the meal came with cole slaw anyway. Sometimes I just double up on cole slaw, but at that point I didn't know if I would like The Creek cole slaw. Turned out I did, so next time double slaw and no fries. The fish was excellent, the slaw was very good (an 8 on my Perfect Cole Slaw scale), and the house salad was a good size. Recently I reviewed the Seneca Alleghany Casino and said I liked the fish fry at the Seneca Café. The Creek's fish fry that I had last Friday was better. As for playing at the Buffalo Creek Casino, all covid protocols are in place. Hand sanitizing stations aplenty. And, as usual, no smoking in the casino. My daughter cashed out a winner on her free $5 slot play for her birthday... and went home. My sister and I should have left then, too. I Ubered to the joint so I can't speak to parking costs or anything of the sort. Upon walking in yes- there is a smoke smell. That's what casinos always were and will continue to be if you are from a state that doesn't allow smoking inside. Suck it up. I can't smell so I wasn't really affected that much. I went to get Sabres alumni autographs and since I was going to the Sabres game I had brought my grandson with me. I was told that he could not enter the building which was fine. I'm not a smoker so I was most worried about the smoke. Yes, it's bad but not terrible. It wasn't filled with smoke and there were maybe 60% of the people smoking. The non smoking area is just fine but you don't get to play as many games. After we played games we redeemed our food vouchers. I got the appetizer combo with beef on wecks, pizza log and wings. Located in downtown Buffalo the casino has been drawing crowds. That's why I came actually - I had driven by twice in the early evening and saw many cars heading into the parking lot. So I thought I should check it out. We saw a few craps tables, a few roulette, and various card game tables, blackjack included but many others as well. And then slots. Many many slots. This is a small casino overall, which can have pros and cons. Pros include easy to get into and out of, a small more intimate environment. Cons include small, not many tables to choose from. The drink servers were visible and it was easy to get water, small bottles, but water was easy. I'm not sure if you pay for alcohol or not. But tips for water are assumed. Smoking is allowed. Including cigars. So from the minute you open your car door to the minute you take a shower later you smell smoke and will smell like it. It did seem many people were not bothered by this. And I grant you all casinos except one I have ever been to allow smoking. So it's the norm. But it did result in us leaving sooner than we might have otherwise. Loosing also helped that departure along though. All in all I enjoy casinos on occasion. I'm not sure I need one in the middle of a city but judging by the crowds many people are quite happy to have this casino. I only hope no one is banking on winning, the odds favor the house always. There is a small place to get a sandwich, gelato, coffee, breakfast and more. Have to say, it looked good and clean but we did not try any food. I can see going back here to kill some time or entertain out of towners. Easy access, close, easy parking, all good. Buffalo's newest casino. This casino is basically a smaller version of the casino in Niagara Falls. They do not offer complimentary alcoholic beverages in order to protect the restaurant and bar businesses in downtown Buffalo which I think is a very good program. There is a small gift shop where you can buy odds and ends....no pun intended. Since its brand new everything is clean and beautiful. It also seems to be providing a lot of jobs and opportunity for Buffalonians. I am not a big fan of casinos but I think this place offers one more facet of entertainment for the downtown area keeping harmony with the whole "Buffalo Rises" master plan. Not a fan. I'll start with the positives... Easy to find, ample (free) parking. That's about it. I visited during COVID so things might be different otherwise, but as I was walking from the parking lot to the security check line I had to walk through a huge cloud of marijuana smoke. It was gross and stayed with me for the rest of my visit-- yuck. There is an elevator from each parking level and a temperature check station upon entrace. You have to attest to not being exposed to COVID as well. Once you are inside, it's very standard--typical slots and tables. The atmosphere is most certainly not upscale and I didn't feel like I would want to sit here and play for any length of time. Lots of bill breaker/ticket redemption stations and ATMS. Very poorly lit. Would not return on my own volition-- definitely take a few extra minutes and go up to Seneca Niagara if you want a better experience. Pay back rate was crappy. read more
