I wasn't convinced and called the folks at Herald's. Instead of trying to sell us anything, they put a repairman, Curtis, on the phone. After what I told him about the refrigerator, he diagnosed it and told me he'd order the part and have it installed in a couple of days. Their service, kindness, and professionalism was impeccable. The refrigerator is humming along for about 7% of what I would have paid for a new refrigerator. If you live in the Mount Vernon, Ohio and surrounding area, and you need a repairman, or a second opinion, come to Herald's. They'll treat you right.

There as a nice young man behind the counter and he said he would bring it up later that day, which he did. It was T. J. If you are interested in buying what they sell, please give this young couple a chance to sell and service it for you. The good staff will mainly stay the same and will share his goals. We wish T. Tech verified everything was working as required multiple times prior to completing all the work. Cost seemed to be very competitive from what I have seen/heard from others.

had an absolutely horrible experience with this company from start to finish…read more First, the scheduling was a mess. I called on a Saturday and was told I could be seen Tuesday morning between 8 AM and 12 PM. At 1 PM, I received a call apologizing and was told someone could be there by 2 PM. Nobody showed up. I then rescheduled for Friday morning, again between 8 AM and 12 PM. The technician didn't arrive until around 5 PM. When the technician finally arrived, he checked my breaker box (which I've never had a refrigerator repair technician do before), looked at my refrigerator, unplugged it, and told me to let it sit for 15 minutes and plug it back in. He then stated that if it didn't work, it was probably the circuit board. That was it. He pulled the refrigerator out but never removed the back panel, never inspected the components, never cleaned the coils, never checked the fan, and never performed any meaningful troubleshooting. I specifically left the back panel alone because the appliance instructions state it should only be removed by a technician. After paying for what amounted to almost no service, I decided to investigate myself because I couldn't afford to waste money on another service call. I removed the back panel and immediately found that the coils were extremely dusty, proving they had not even been cleaned or inspected. I also found that the fan was not running. The manufacturer's service manual was attached inside the panel, so I looked up the diagnostic information and retrieved the error code. Surprise--it wasn't the circuit board at all. The issue pointed to the fan. I was able to do more troubleshooting in a few minutes than the paid technician did during the entire visit. To make matters worse, I was overcharged by about $30. I was told over the phone that paying by card would be cheaper, so I paid by card. That turned out to be false. When I called the office to ask about it, I was met with attitude from the woman who answered. She claimed I was supposed to call separately to make payment in order to receive the discount. Not once during any of my calls was I told that. So to summarize: * Missed appointment windows and hours-long delays. * Technician did virtually no diagnostic work. * Incorrect diagnosis. * Didn't inspect or clean obvious problem areas. * Overcharged compared to the quoted price. * Poor customer service when I called to address the issue. I paid good money for someone to come to my home and do less troubleshooting than I was able to do myself with the manufacturer's manual. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this company to anyone. Save your money and look elsewhere. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

The company ordered the part needed, and after 6 weeks, they finally returned, only to say they had ordered the wrong part and would have to come back another time. 2 months later, I called to see what was going on and schedule an appointment. After scheduling an appointment and having them not show up, I called and they said they had no record of our repair call. So, I rescheduled and they yet again did not show up when they were supposed to. I called to see what was going on and the woman on the phone literally raised her voice to me, called me a liar and told me to call her back once I knew what I was talking about. 3 months of dealing with this terrible company and our dishwasher is still not fixed. I will probably be calling the chamber of commerce and better business bureau on this company within the week. Don't waste your time dealing with them.

So when our Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling on the refrigerator side Samsung sent Accurate Appliance Repair out to perform warranty service. It took several days for a repair man to show up. Then once the repair man looked at the fridge he told us to stop using the freezer side (which was still working) and he would get the parts ordered. Several days later I called Accurate Appliance Repair to see if they received the part and they told me that the parts we in, but they wouldn't be able to come out and repair it until the following week. So when the scheduled repair time came the repair man showed up and surprise...he says he forgot the parts to perform the repair, he refused to go and get the part and complete the repair. He just left saying he had another repair to fix. When I called Accurate Appliance Repair the receptionist was very rude...told me to call someone else. We've had to miss so much time off of work messing with this outfit. Do yourself a favor if you are reading this and call anyone else for your appliance repair needs.
