We miss the old Taco Nazo and Theresa at the other location, but even as Senor Baja, the food is still good. Prices have gone up a lot since we first started coming here, but it's good so we'll keep coming back. The best value is getting whatever the special is for the day. Chicken tacos on Monday, Fish tacos on Tuesday, Potato tacos on Thursday. This location does have a drive thru, but we usually prefer to go inside. The better rapport you have with the cashier, the more salsa and chilies you might get Plus, the lines or lemons, radishes and onions are out for you to get what you need. Fish tacos have been consistently significantly smaller than the one in rancho. Also the fish is not freshly fried. The fish are much crispier when we get it from rancho and I drive 20 minutes there and back vs 5 minutes for the one in upland. They also do not give you limes or grilled chillis and the salsa is worse in my personal preference. read more

Oh how I wish I lived closer to this place! Came by after a local hike with family. Senor Baja caught my eye and we checked it out. It's behind a Carl's Jr and next to a Chinese (I think?) food spot. It's small, interior looks like it was a Subway before. I ordered shrimp tacos with rice and beans. We sat outside, and they brought us our food and roasted peppers. Shrimp tacos were "baja" style (fried in fluffy batter) They were perfect!! Rice and beans were tasty. We ordered guacamole, and it was ok. Our food was ready in perfect time and it was delicious. The lady was nice who took my order, but when I received my chipotle fish tacos I didn't see any chipotle sauce on i it had a white sauce and they told me it was on the fish. I have been at the other Senor Bajas (Covina, Pomona, and Rancho Cucamonga) and they have bigger yellow looking tortillas and the fish fillets are bigger. Go on Wednesdays for $1 fish tacos! I don't know how close it is to what they have in Mexico, but I have enough credibility to say this is definitely a Southern Californian classic. Crispy, battered fish on top of two thin corn tortillas all at the affordable price of a buck. Service was fast for me. They have a small area on the side with various (pickled) peppers but no huge salsa bar, which was a bummer. The taco comes with one little container of this smokey, spicy salsa (didn't care for it, so I advise that you taste it before you go dumping it all over your food). I've never ordered anything else but if I do I'll be sure to get it with a side of fish tacos. Bottom Line: Great fish tacos at a great price. This is my first time at this Señor Baja. I've been to the one in Fontana and 2 in Rancho. This one is pretty tiny. It seats about 20 people total. So make sure you plan your quinciañera elsewhere. I stopped here because I was craving a Torta and the picture on the window hypnotized me. Once inside, I was disappointed to find out that they were out of Torta bread. what!?!?! Someone needs to get fired...or at least placed on paid administrative leave for two days. ( has that ever been a punishment?) I've only used the drive-thru, and will never do that again as the other fast food provider in that block of buildings has an ordering spot where, if there are more than 2 cars ordering from there, prevents Senor Baja customers from exiting (the only exit) after receiving their food. The drive-through is a little tricky tho so may be best to walk in. Staff ALWAYS nice and generous with salsa even when I tell them I don't need it! This place is one of the best locations to go to. The inside is very clean! We ordered Asada tacos, fish tacos and milanesa tortas. Which all were delicious, I enjoyed every bite I took. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, when they brought out the food to our table. They bought sufficient amounts of salsa and seasoned yellow chiles.
