I'm so freaking full and it's all Melissa's fault. She was just too sweet to say "no" to, so we ate the flan. And a more delicious flan I couldn't even imagine. Melissa said it was homemade by the owner and she didn't know the recipe but I think there's kahlua or Tia Maria in it; anyway, it's awesome and a terrific end to a fabulous meal. We also ate the cheese dip (or as I like to call it- "Mexican Fondue") because we love cheese and love to live dangerously. So cheesy with lots of peppers, mmmmmm! My entrée was a Seafood Relleno. Tender cooked poblano stuffed with sweet crab, bay shrimp and more cheese! Coated in egg and fried golden brown and topped with fresh salsa and more CHEESE! I'm lactose intolerant and I don't even care that in an hour I will be hating myself. My husband had Arroz con Camarones. The name is pretty self-explanitory, what sets this version apart from the rest is the amount of shrimp in the dish and the freshness of the ingredients. It was simply bursting with flavor and shrimpy goodness. We also had a couple of their house margaritas, again, so different from the standard margaritas that we are used to with all the fresh citrus muddled in. Thanks for the extra 5 pounds Melissa! We stopped in on a Friday around dinner time, Erica was our server. From the moment we arrived she gave us excellent customer service. She brought out chips and salsa which from the taste we could tell were fresh and house made, it was SO GOOD. Our main dishes were absolutely delicious as well! I ordered a Pina colada and it was perfect. My husband ordered a house margarita and it was SO refreshing with freshly squeezed oranges and limes. Went for lunch. Ended up paying $40 for a burrito and a marg. Pretty confused as to why prices are so high. Looking elsewhere for value.

The quality of food and service really nose dived here, and the last visit was so bad that I really do not think I will be returning. The chicken mole was one of the worst I've had in recent years. Not only did it lack any soulful flavor, but it was just bad and funky. I'm not sure what they did to it. The portion size was extremely small, which didn't matter in this case. The other dish we ordered was better, only average. Their salads are not authentic, and they only have typical American style dressings like Ranch, Italian, and Thoudand Island. The most annoying factor is on a Friday lunch, and there was only one server, and she spent almost the entire time multitasking having a phone conversation in Spanish. That is rude and giving minimal effort. The atmosphere is fine but nothing special. The view out the window, including a man walking down the sidewalk spitting all over the sidewalk. Parking is hit or miss, and you typically have to pay. What a mistake and a bad experience to go here PM the most recent visit. I'm not looking for a repeat of that. No, thank you. They weren't super busy on Friday either. I understand why. read more

Flight Attendant here, Me and my pilots came in for work out of state and drove around to see what looked the best during the shutdowns. This place seemed to have the best outdoor dining. Once we came in there was heaters and the waitress even brought out feet warmers to make it even more comfortable. After finding out they just opened in middle of the pandemic, We were very excited to try our lunch when she informed us everything is homemade and made daily. The salsa is amazing made daily along with the tortillas. If your looking for good quality Mexican food with generous servings and friendly hospitality definitely dine her and you don't regret it! 5 stars!! The kiddo wanted Mexican for our lunch date and I'm glad she did! It's refreshing to find a spot that makes the food to order. This is hands down the Mexican restaurant in northern Washington right now. This place blows jalapeños out the water! Their drinks are delicious and not watered down, their queso is perfection and you actually get a bowl serving not a tiny cup and their shredded beef is juicy and full of flavor! I would eat their food all day everyday if my calorie intake would allow it. Their staff is friendly, inviting and attentive and their prices and portion sizes are right on point! This is a nice family business and the food tastes really good. The restaurant is small and simple and sometimes gets very crowded. Service is usually very good except when it slows down too much when they are busy. This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in this area, but limitted paid parking and people sometimes bothering you in an unwelcoming way on the street are the downside. Absolutely amazing, authentic Mexican food! I was skeptical at first because there were not many reviews (all though they were all 5 stars) but we were not disappointed. The service was fantastic and the wait staff very friendly. I tried the blackberry margarita by our waiter's recommendation and my boyfriend had the mango marg - these were by far the freshest margaritas with real fruit we have ever had. Very full after, but mostly just cause it was a lot of food for a small combo, and I'm a bodybuilder so I eat a lot. Lots of flavor without all the extra grease and fat. One small word of caution...they are using a new online order system and their POS service guy didn't do some of the options right, so I would call and confirm the order after you place it.
