This is the last time I order from them. First, they put mustard in a sandwich order when we explicitly said the person that would be eating it is allergic to. In a second occasion, we ordered the cafe con leche and pan con tortilla. The pan con tortilla went Straight in the garbage, the eggs were bad, oh so bad! And just now I ordered breaded steak with congri, sweet plantain and Yucca, once again, straight in the garbage. So much oil I can't eat it. Just look at the photos. This is such a shame. I crave my Cuban food so much and 90 miles is so far I can guarantee that our food in Cuba is not as disgusting as the one this establishment sells. Save your money. read more

We came here for a late dinner around 730pm thinking they closed at 9pm like yelp shows. We were the only ones there and they welcomed us with open arms. We quickly got seated and placed our order soon after. About 5 minutes til 8pm they locked started locking the doors and turned the "open" sign off. He stated they closed at 8. I included this in my review because, never once did we feel pressured to order quick because they were closing, or pressured to eat quick, and never once did they look annoyed. Gotta respect them for that. My wife ordered their Ropa vieja sandwich and she enjoyed it. I took a bite it wasn't my cup of tea. I ordered their media noche sandwich, and a side of arroz congri which rice with black beans and the rice turns black when cooked with the black beans. I'm a sucker for rice and the arroz congri was very delicious. I've had better in Miami, but these will do without having to travel 1400 miles! The Media Noche was on point. Very tasty and tasted similar to others I've tried. Media noche is the same as a Cuban sandwich except for the bread. It's a softer much sweeter bread that is used. Other than that, it's identical. The roast pork, Swiss cheese, ham and mustard. A simple sandwich executed perfectly. Overall a very satisfying meal and will be returning. read more

My brother and I found out about this Cuban gem through UberEats. We were craving Cuban food for breakfast and as we typed down Cuban food, this restaurant was one of the first one to pop out on the list. We searched through their menu and saw some good breakfast sandwiches; I tried their Pan con tortilla de vegetales (veggie omelette sandwich) and my brother tried their omelette sandwich with meats. They are delicious, and I love the butter spread on the bread that gives it that flavor! So since now, this is probably our 5th buy from this restaurant and I continue trying their veggie omelette sandwich and also tried their cafe con leche and cortadito (espresso with foamed cream) .. I've also tried their fried yuca, but seemed a bit dry for me. But altogether, delicious Cuban sandwiches! I will surely order from here again read more

I have been to the original Senor Pan and the cafe is just as good. Went for lunch with a friend and the service was good as the food better. I ordered a media noche sandwich and its was great. The meat with mustard and pickles gave it great flavor. My friend had a lechon sandwich and it was very juicy. The onions made a good contrast in flavors and textures. We also ordered a side of tostones and they were done nicely as well. The sauce they give with them compliments them very well. read more

Score O I called and placed an order for the Bistec Cazuela. It said on their website that it cost 1295. I go to pick up the order and I ended up paying $18 for it! It was $16.45 before taxes. I am formed the individual who Rang me up and said that the prices went up. I showed him the website and he answered by saying, "Oh, I guess we need to change that." He made no attempts to compensate me for their false advertisement. I've had better Cuban meals and the food is not bad; however, I'm not paying $17 for a plate in Belmont Cragin. This restaurant is slowly getting worse. I was one of their biggest fans when they first opened up. But the quality of the food isn't good. The appetizers are not tasty. Get your act together please. I wanna come back. The kid's steak was dry and flavorless. Not what Cuban food should taste like. Their meat empanadas and rellenos de papa need a makeover. Flavors are just not there. Didn't order one of the sandwiches this café advertises as its main fare, but I did get a salad with grilled chicken that was VERY tasty. The chicken was a bit under-seasoned, but was grilled perfectly. Likewise, the peppers and onions in the salad were grilled with an incredible char that made it awesome. Hello my experience was a minus -0 because I ordered steak with rice and fried tostones and when it came the steak was overly cooked to a burned Crisp and the tostones seemed like someone else had left them behind and they recooked tostones. I paid $75 for the four of us to eat and it was NOT worth it to me. My boyfriend ordered the steak sandwich and it literally came with one very small piece of steak that he had to open the sandwich just to search for the steak. This location of Sr Pan has been my favorite for many years as they have delicious food, sandwiches and meals. Several times a week I would stop there on my way to work to get two cafe con leches because they always opened up at 6 am and I need to get to work by 7 am. My self and many customers who went there the other day were surprised and very disappointed to find that they changed their hours to open at 7 am . I understand that management decided to change the hours arbitrarily without bothering to check with employees to find out the amount of customer traffic in the morning. Unfortunately decisions like this by business owners often result in a loss of customers. We will now have to look for another cafe in the morning. Oh well. read more

I was there before, and had experienced poor customer service, but was given a free pastry as a peace offering. So, I went in on Wednesday to order their chuletas special, as it being plural meaning more than one, I was served a very thinly sliced bone ham pork chop. I kindly asked the waitress if this was it, and she said yes it only comes with one, the tostones were actually as round and as thin as the chop, minus the fat and bone on it, very disappointed.
