A million stars!! We've been here a lot since we moved to the area. Great food, people, and atmosphere. Our recent visit was on my birthday and our waitress, Bessy, was the sweetest! I got a cute dessert and they all sung Happy Birthday. My fajitas were amazing and my husband loved his burrito. They have game day specials in addition to a ton of other specials. Every meal we have had has been well prepared. This is our new go to for Mexican food. There is no better place!

Great food, service was great also. We really enjoyed it. The drinks were not as strong as we hoped for but the prices were fair for what was received. We arrived about a hour before closing and they still were really nice and helpful to us. We will definitely be back. There was at least 10 things on the menu I wanted to try.

Stopped in for a quick snack and drink before heading out to run errands. The staff is super friendly and nice! I sat at the bar and had a house margarita as well as the boom boom shrimp tostados which were amazing! I have never had them before and they were delicious. The jalapeño ranch sauce was so good with the shrimp. Nice and crispy!

Becoming a regular here. While I want to try more of the menu I can't stop myself from ordering the birria tacos because they're that good!

I can't say enough good things about Señor Chile in Edgewater! From the moment we sat down, the service was warm and welcoming--our server immediately brought out fresh, crispy corn chips and some of the tastiest salsa I've had in a long time. Drinks arrived quickly, and the staff were attentive without ever being overbearing. The food was absolutely outstanding. The fajitas were next level--the sauce had incredible depth of flavor, the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the portions were so generous you definitely won't leave hungry. Even the black beans had this rich, umami flavor that made them memorable on their own. Between the friendly service, the attention to detail, and the delicious food, Señor Chile has easily become one of my new favorite spots. Highly recommend!

I have visited two other locations of this family-run series of restaurants: in Annapolis on Forest Drive & in Severna Park. This one has more seating & a more pleasant environment than either of the others. We arrived early, around 5:00 pm on a Tuesday. I ordered a house margarita, which was yummy. The chips & salsa were good. I ordered the Los Amigos platter, which is a combo & it is a LOT of food. My husband ordered Sopa Marisco and a platter of three tacos. His only issue with the soup was that he had to peel the shrimp & take the head off (actually, I did it), & the soup came out at the same time as his meal. I would order my entree again. He said he would try something else next time. It was a huge amount of food and the service was pleasant and quick.

Birria Mulitas-- sooo greasy and inedible.

This might be my lowest rating i've given a place, and I've been doing this for years. Ordered a two things for delivery and was truly disappointed. The food came on time, but was Suuuper greasy and inedible! And the consommé for the birria had peas, carrots, and green beans in it. Never have i ever had birria like this and it's one of my favorite dishes. It almost seemed like they ran out, and replaced it with a can of beef stew...because the rest of the pictures dont look like that on here. We literally laughed to keep from crying, but it truly was disappointing. The ONLY reason i gave two stars was because our delivery driver was super sweet.

Our party of five loved everything we had! First, queso dip is very good - something slightly different from other restaurants. Flavored blended margaritas were good, but could use a bit more flavor. Birria mulitas was absolutely delicious (dipping sauce is also a soup with meat & veggies). Server Kevin was very attentive & friendly. Definitely would go back.

Shrimp tacos. With a side of Diablo sauce which is straight up fire!

Food is great like all their restaurants. Drinks are strong and bartenders are friendly. Service is fast. It is a little less clean and a little more noisey then some other locations, but it doesn't keep me away. Always happy with meal. Free chips are a plus.

My partner and I are huge Mexican food fans - she grew up and SoCal and I grew up in Colorado. Needless to say it is a big part of who we are. We stopped at Senor Chiles around 2:30 pm and I expected it to be your average Mexican spot. We have been on a quest for some seriously good Mexican food, and frankly, the east coast hasn't been treating us kindly. This place, it's the exception. Starting with the salsa and chips. Absolute perfection. Light, crisp, perfectly salted and WARM chips, served up with a salsa that was smokey, spicy, but had a hint of sweetness to finish it up that is a total crowd pleaser. The guacamole had the perfect balance of salt, acid, texture, and spice. Really couldn't imagine a better guac. Our entries just continued to impress us. Finally enchiladas that weren't soaked in queso, but rather an exceptional verde sauce. My partner (the meat lover) got birria and it was by her remarks incredible - just look at that consume! The drinks were some of the best we have had. A traditional michelada and a spicy margarita ($7 on happy hour) complimented all the wonderful flavors of our meal. Service was quick, attentive, just what it needed to be. The place looks like your classic Mexican restaurant, but again, it's just what it should be. This is the only Mexican spot we have found that I would go out of my way to visit again. KUDOS. You have got to try this!

The service is always friendly and welcoming! The drinks here never miss--they have so many flavors, and the bartender makes sure you get your money's worth every time. The food is also really good, so don't hesitate to order an appetizer or entrée to soak up the liquor. Enjoy! This is definitely a spot to visit, but keep in mind you'll likely leave smelling like any skillet that passes by. We only come here when we're headed straight home afterward.

Part of a crunch wrap . Omg split it with your friend . Lol

We sat at the bar. I had a crunch wrap . Was very good . Very big . He had a faji tacos , very good . Plenty of food . Mexican mule good . Beer cold . Bartender great . Always festive .

Food was ok. The restaurant is VERY small so it seemed like they were rushing us to leave. They charge for each topping you add to tacos. So beware. My friend was charged more for the topping than the actual tacos. Good spicy margaritas tho.

I eat a lot of Mexican food and this is easily the best I've tasted for Miles around. Birria enchiladas were off the hook. And the salsa there is fantastic! Just a couple more notes about pricing though, because I think it's worthwhile to mention: there is no lunch menu. Most Mexican joints have a lunch menu, with smaller sizes and lower prices. not here. The portions are very generous so be prepared to get a dinner menu and to-go box. And I ordered a draft Mexican beer and got a 24 ounce glass for nine dollars. I think this is another attempt to raise your check. Most places will give you the option of a 16 or 24 ounce. Yes these are nitpicks, but I'm not complaining because the food is so freaking good.

June 2025 Sin…read moreFronteras Café We came to Sin Fronteras Café for dinner and met up with some friends--this was my wife's and my first visit, though our friends had been here before and spoke highly of it. We started with chips and salsa, and they were excellent. The salsa wasn't overly spicy, just full of great flavor, and the chips were fresh and crisp--definitely a strong start to the meal. My wife ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was quite different from what we usually get at the Mexican spots we frequent--it was one large chimichanga served with a small salad, whereas we're used to getting two smaller ones with rice and beans, which we usually share. Still, it was tasty and satisfying in its own unique way. I ordered the Chicharrón en Salsa Verde--crispy pork and onions in a green tomato sauce, topped with cilantro and served with rice and warm flour tortillas. It had great flavor and the pork had a nice texture--crisp but not dry. Our friends ordered a variety of dishes, including: Chile en Nogada - a stuffed poblano pepper with seasoned ground beef, covered in a chilled almond and walnut nogada sauce, topped with pomegranate seeds and served with rice. It was rich, colorful, and very flavorful. A beautiful dish with red and yellow sauces and a white cream swirl--unfortunately I can't recall the name, but it was as good as it looked. Six tacos with assorted meats--each one was fantastic. The flavors were bold and fresh. To drink, most of us had margaritas, and you could tell they use fresh ingredients--these were excellent and not overly sweet like some places serve them. Service was top-notch from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only disappointing part of the evening came at the end, when we learned that the restaurant will be closing in about a month. The building is being torn down, possibly for high-rise condos. The staff doesn't know if or where they'll reopen. It's a real shame, especially in an area that's already struggling with traffic and congestion. More homes, fewer gems like this. I just wish we had discovered Sin Fronteras Café sooner. Hopefully they find a new home nearby, and we'll definitely try to come back before they close for good.
