Genuinely one of the most fun experiences I've ever had at a casino. Our small crew of three (all over 21) had so much fun especially with our game host Chelsi (we kicked her butt at all the games!). The vibes were very upbeat and everyone that worked there was very personable and easy to chat with. The coolest thing we found was most of the employees made the pieces / prizes for all the games ( it gave a very welcoming and caring atmosphere).Definitely worth the time if you have the chance! We had so much fun doing this. We didn't plan on it just a last minute thing. Samantha was amazing and explained things so well.

My friends and I stumbled upon this place while visiting the Grand Sierra Resort for the first time. We were instantly drawn by all the flashing lights and laughter from the patrons inside taking wild pictures in the photo op area. That alone piqued our interest and convinced us to inquire within. However, we were disappointed when we found out there were no more available slots for the remainder of the day. Fortunately, the following day was relatively open so we decided to go back. We were greeted by Devin, our Game Master. She did a fantastic job explaining what the experience would be like and what to expect for the next 90 minutes. For those who are unaware, Sensology is a fun way to test your 5 senses (smell, sight, touch, taste, and hearing) in 5 engaging team oriented games such as tasting different flavored jelly beans and being quizzed on what they were (Taste) or navigating through a pitch black room while inserting different shapes of wooden blocks in hidden slots throughout the room (Touch). I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who's looking for a bit of fun in Reno! Living in California (Bay Area), I can see this type of establishment blow up in this market. Perhaps a possible expansion is in the foreseeable future? read more

Let me start off by saying we had SO MUCH FUN and laughed throughout the 90 min experience! I went as a party of 4, you can book online or over the phone. A deposit is required to reserve your time slot. My 4 stars? Our reservation was at 730, host name was Jessica. I don't know if she was just done for the day or what but her directions were very robotic and unclear. She might know what she's talking about but being a first timer, girllllll slow down. You're talking at 100 MPH. Mind you, we were a sober group coming in so alcohol was not the factor. Secondly, they had a room for taste, we had to eat jelly beans and guess the flavors by multiple choice answers within 4 min. Mind you, we thought we were tasting for 4 min and then logging in our answers after, but no. Tasting and answers in within that time frame. It did not help that the jelly bean machine was not dispensing correctly. On a few, I had to continually turn about 8-10 times to get one out. Again, we had a great time. I just think they should have a video showing examples of how each game works instead of directions from a person. read more

Went to Grand Sierra Resort to get away from Oakland for the weekend and as soon as we got to the hotel my 11 year old brother begged to play this game. At first, I was doubtful; it was just the three of us and my mom didnt want to do anything but play at the casino so I wasnt sure it would work out with only two players. We decided to check anyways and Im so happy we did. We both had so much fun and it wasnt that expensive at all. Devin was our game master and she made the experience better than I expected. It was our first time visiting and being a fan of escape rooms, we were curious about the idea of going through different games based on the 5 senses. To put it simply, it was a GREAT EXPERIENCE! Our hostess, Jessica, was very patient and informative and was with us every step of the way. The games were so much fun and well thought out with each sense, the bar area was clean and nicely designed and the lounges were nice and cozy and we felt safe leaving all our belongings in there as we explored the rooms. Whether you're in a smaller group, like us with 3, or a bigger group, the experience was absolutely awesome and even their photo op of a sideways perspective illusion was a fun challenge too. After finding out also that this location is the only one of its kind in all the country, it makes this place so much more unique and we can't wait to try it out again and see how much they will expand in the future because this concept and the overall experience was so worth it! We had no idea what to expect, but our family enjoys escape rooms and we figured this would be a similar concept. It wasn't, but it was still super enjoyable and fun! This is somewhat of a game show experience that pits the participants against each other in teams and betting how well you think you'll do with tests of your various senses. We laughed the whole time and were surprised at what we were good at and what we weren't. Kinda hard to describe without giving it all away, but I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience and we look forward to when they change things up in 3-6 months so we can come back! read more
