Conceptually I think Seoul Bowl is a fantastic idea - bring common Korean street food ingredients together in a single serving. However, the execution falls flat. I got the (bulgogi) bowl with purple rice, roasted corn, caramelized onions, Asian salad, cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, sweet mashed potato, pickled radish, and soy pickled jalapeños with Yum Yum sauce. Since it was my first time eating here, I wanted to try all the toppings and see how well they would mesh. Individually I think these items would work in a meal but mixed together it's hard to taste what you're eating. Traditional Korean meals serve these items as separate side dishes that you eat throughout the meal. While there are Korean dishes, like (bibimbap), which are a mixture of various toppings, the contrasting flavors here clash. You have acid, spicy, and sweet in a creamy texture from the Yum Yum sauce. You also lose the subtle flavor of the purple rice, which is a shame. The bulgogi was also surprisingly dry. The ingredients themselves are really fresh and well prepared. I thought the soy pickled jalapeños were delicious. Portion size was pretty small for the price. A Korean chipotle-style fast casual? Yes, please! Grabbed three bowls - tofu, bolgogi beef, and pork - all got rave reviews. How in the world have I missed this all these months..!! Its like korean themed chipotle chain with the spicy tanginess flavor depth of korean cuisine and their kimchi and all the good stuff. At its heart they basically have one offering their bowl ....and also their wings. I tried a bowl with purple rice with chicken and all the fix ins (except egg and mashed potatoes). I got the spicy sauce and yum yum sauce in my bowl. MY o MY I loved this. I know this is one of the places i intend to visit for my lunches specially for their bowl. I tried their sweet and spicy 8 piece chicken wings and they were good ...but not honestly the star offering...that would be their bowl. Awesome, and unique experience around Korean food. This is my first time having a rice bowl "pick up your topping" type of experience. I decided to get the white rice with bulgogi as the protein. The fried tofu and bbq chicken sound delicious as well. Will be back to try those :) All the toppings were essentially a free-for-all except the soy marinated egg for $1. I have no issues with that. I appreciate being able to have unlimited topping choices and being able to have my bowl packed. Portion sizes are pretty big, and I even saved half for lunch for the next day, still tasty. Found this korean bowl place in yelp new business suggestion and decided to give a try. I ordered chicken bowl with purple rice and different toppings. My spouse ordered bulgogi beef bowl with purple rice and other toppings as well. Both the food was quite delicious. It costed around 26$. Pretty decent. Portion size is very good. Was more than enough for me. All the toppings are delicious as well. Portion of protein was good. I liked the food but tbh this is not something I will eat very often. May be once in every 2-3 months. But that's my personal opinion and nothing related to food quality or taste. read more

For starters I came here for the first time and ordered the original KFC. Given the two side options I asked if I could get kimchi instead. In which, the cashier said no, it would be $3.50 dollars. Mind you my dumplings cost that much so that was an easy no. The only pleasant part of my experience here is that he let me sample the kimchi but it was a small slicer off the tongs which I thought was kinda weird/unsanitary. After this moment everything started to get worse..... 1. I asked for a napkin after being handed a piece of kimchi off the tongs they use to serve and he gave me so much attitude. Like if the napkin was coming from his pay check. 2. I had to ask for chopsticks and a bag. There were two people so when I asked for the second chopstick he gave me attitude yet again. Not to mention he gave me the wrong size bag so I had to ask AGAIN for the correct bag to hold my food as I was ordering takeout. 3. The icing on the cake was when I got the rest of my meal , mind you I had to bag it myself it didn't even come all together. But my radish wasn't in the bag. I noticed it when I had crossed the street so I walked back and told the cashier he had missed the item. Mind you I'm already pissed at this point cause the cashier has given me the worst attitude towards me and now he messed up my order and proceeds to talk back to me so rudely, to the point he even said "stop with your attitude". I asked for my side , which comes free with the meal and he proceeds to tell "what is it that you even want" which clearly, all I wanted was my complete meal without the attitude and missed item. This cashier is gonna be the reason the business goes under, kindly fire him before you loose more business. read more

We went to our new Seoul Bowl tonight, and we were really happy with our meal; we will probably be back. We both ordered chicken bowls with just about all of the toppings, and we enjoyed each and every bite. If you haven't tried it yet, you absolutely should. Next time I would probably try the chicken sandwich (looked delicious on the menu) or the beef bowl. We are always excited for new restaurants to open, and we are looking forward to Seoul Bowl being around for many years to come. Was this a life-changing meal? Amazing wings! The wings were meaty and super juicy; they definitely didn't skimp on the chicken. We tried the soy garlic and sweet and spicy sauces, which were both delicious. My favorite was the soy garlic, which was heavily specked with black pepper. The sweet and spicy wings were mainly just sweet; you couldn't taste the heat at all. Delicious nonetheless. For the price, you get a decent serving of wings! I would ask for the fries in a separate container as they tend to get soggy from the heat and sauce of the wings when they are placed under the chicken. read more

The food is good overall. The japchae side order is pretty disappointing though. Looks nothing like the menu picture. Arrived with 2 slivers of carrot and just a (ice cream scoop size) portion of noodles. I also feel like Seoul Bowls food would be more enjoyable if they offered a plate option instead of just bowls, so you could keep the sides and main separate. It's not as good when piled on top of each other imo. (Look up Patton Oswalt's bit about KFC bowls for a laugh) it came to mind after eating here. Was really excited to see they have a store to get food from thats close to my house. I tried their bbq bowl at the Taste of Edmonds years ago and really liked it. I tried the Seoul Fried Chicken without any sauce for the first time and it was tasty. Will definitely be back for more, just with sauce next time. I want to try sweet n spicy along with the Honey Butter for sure. Really liked the salad with the wings. Sesame salad dressing complimented the flavors. If you're going to get the wings, you may want to call in your order ahead of time as it can get busy in the evenings, especially the weekends. They don't make them until you order them so it can take 20 to 30 min to have them ready. Also, had a bowl with spicy pork, salad, corn, caramelized onion, and picked radishes. I ordered from DoorDash so I don't have any experience with the service but wow the food was yum! I tried a tofu bowl with everything and purple rice. There was a ton of tofu and plenty of sides so I thought the portion was extremely generous. The sauces do kind of blend together so it's hard to tell what's what. The pickled jalapeños are definitely still super spicy and not super pickled so beware. The purple rice also is not as fluffy as I've had at other Korean restaurants. read more

The perfect lunch or dinner spot if you love flavor especially Korean flavor. The bowls are so yummy. I got the bulgogi beef with half white rice and japchae! My husband got the spicy pork with purple rice. I prefer the flavor of the bulgogi but the pork is tasty too. I love the bowl idea. Once you add all the yummy sides, it's a flavor bomb! The jalapeños have a nice kick but they are very tasty. I love the kimchi's and picked radish! We're going back tomorrow to try the tofu and possibly the fried chicken sandwich. This is a fun addition to Bothell! Ordered the Bulgogi Beef Bowl which had just about everything on it. While it was super good it was a little rich with all the toppings for me so I would love to go back and build my own bowl with less toppings. The beef was flavorful and well proportioned! read more

Traveled decently well, the sauce got a bit unwieldy but I still got a bit of the crunch. I wish I got to try it immediately. Different Korean eating style but great if you're in a pinch for time and want fast service. They have great tasting chicken wings and choices of various Korean banchan items to add into the bowl. First, there's a choice or rice, purple rice, salad (cabbage like sitting in the first part compartment of choices), or japchae (extra $), choose your protein, and you go through the line like Chipotle or Mod Pizza. I wouldn't necessarily recommend mixing all the ingredients together but eating them separately in the bowl. Restaurant stays pretty cold, so dress warm and there are only four tables. Chicken wings take awhile to cook so order that first if you want some. Parking was available out front on the Wednesday night I visited. read more

My boyfriend and I came here because we were craving some KFC and this place was so good. We ordered the bulgogi cheese fries, sweet and spicy wings, and the chicken sandwich. The bulgogi kimchi cheese fries were great and are best eaten fresh. There wasn't a ton of bulgogi but there was a good amount of cheese, kimchi and sauce. The sweet and spicy sauce on the wings and sandwich was soooo good, I'd say spicy level is a 3 and pretty mild. The lady working the counter was super friendly and checked to make sure we enjoyed the food. I definitely recommend this place and we will be back! Food is fine but I don't think I will ever go back here. I have been ordering their food to take out so many times and it is always missing something. They never make an online order correctly. They forgot the salad or missed the sauce on the side or any side order in general. For the price, I don't think I would order from them again and I don't recommend to do any online order from them. This place has a set up like chipotle but for Korean style bowls. It was so yummy with many good toppings to choose from.

Actually really really good. Think poke bowl or burrito bowl but with Korean food instead. My kid, who is big meat fan, said "there was actually too much meat and not enough yummy veg".
