The japchae tasted super yummy, not overly oily which I super appreciate. The beef bulgogi bento came with such generous portion! Delicious ribeye, great sauce over the rice, nice portions of salad and macaroni salad. I also got the cheese tteokbokki, mildly spicy, perfectly chewy, an absolute delight. This is a restaurant that clearly cares a lot about their food and their quality. It's a family owned restaurant with an adorable little kid, sitting quietly in the corner. Service was super friendly and nice! A lot of orders are to go, so they're constantly busy. But I haven't seen anyone wait more than 10 minutes. Best Korean food in Portland! Excellent! I loved the beef bulgogi bento. The rice soaked up the tasty flavors of the marinated beef. The salt levels were just right. The bulgogi was of good quality. The japchae had a nice hint of sweetness and was very fresh. The Tteokbokki was some much needed comfort food and it brought a smile upon on my face. It was cool to see the cheese melted right in front of us. The staff was working very hard and it showed. It was nice to see and a family run business. I would most definitely return. One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the area! I've dine in twice and ordered to go as well and all experiences were great. Whenever I dined in the staff here are extremely nice and friendly. Especially ajumma who always smiles when we walk in, she's so sweet! The food cooked so well. I love that the meats are tender and so flavorful. Everything is made fresh and you can watch them make it while you're waiting. The atmosphere here is casual and has that comforting/chill vibe. I enjoy watching the kpop music videos that they have on. The restaurant itself is nice & clean. I've tried many dishes here and they were all so good. Definitely recommend this place!! We usually get combo plates. Not sure if I've ever seen spicy chicken available with the combo. Tonight we got one order of spicy chicken and one order of ribs. Fantastic. This place has been on my radar for awhile! When I went here on a Saturday afternoon, the location had plenty of parking around the restaurant. The person working at the counter was very attentive and worked efficiently with taking orders and packing to-go orders. The food here is AMAZEBALLS I always pass out because it's just that good. I always get the kimchi jigae, tteokbokki, and the chicken teriyaki. I love how you can customize how you want your food to taste such as spice levels and add ons. The service here is great aswell since it's a very small business it's almost a bit more intimate and the staff accommodate to your needs and they are as helpful as can be. As for the ambiance I admire the gentle and simple ambiance but the music sometimes drives me insane lol, it's not bad but when there's a lot going on and I see Le Sserafim screaming and doing backflips in the background overstimulates me. This small restaurant is located near Subway with a pretty spacious parking lot. At first I was a little wary of how the food would be because of how small and sparsely decorated the place was, but I was surprised by the quality of the food and service! The lady at the cashier was also our waitress, and she was pleasant and kind. The ladies working the kitchen were also cheerful and kind as well which I really appreciated! I ordered the bimbimbap with beef for $15.00, which imo is a little bit pricey, but the food was delicious and the vegetables in the bowl were not overly seasoned. Only downside is that I wish they gave out more side dishes! But it is understandable that the restaurant wouldn't give out as many side dishes since many people don't finish them. Awesome all around. So far we've tried the kalbi, chicken, beef, and fried tofu. The beef was probably my least favorite, but it wasn't bad at all, just not as good as the others. The meat has all been good, but even the Mac salad they serve with it is terrific, one of the better ones I've had. Plus the workers there are all very friendly and helpful. Overall, the food we got here was pretty good, but we were disappointed by a lack of spiciness and bold flavor in our dishes. For dishes with names like spicy chicken and buldak (fire chicken), we had much higher expectations for the heat level. I even requested extra spicy for the buldak. but it was nowhere close. We also found some of the bento sides a little bland, and the mac salad was a little out of place; it didn't add anything to the dish. So I had to try this new spot out read a bunch of reviews that raved about how the meat portions were so much bigger then other places I didn't find that to be true I feel it was a appropriate portion of meat although it was very fresh and tasty and the prices seemed reasonable how ever there was no sauce to drizzle on my rice or dip my potstickers in and the side of Mac salad was incredible small I'm talking like two bites with no flavor but a little mayo it could use some work that's for sure plus maybe a little more shredded cabbage because I like my vegetables even when I get the meat and rice plate but over all pretty good and I'll definitely go back to tryout the rest of the menu and the Kalbi ribs were delicious read more

Thank you to the Seoul Grill employees cooking great food at closing. We picked up our order (first-timers) maybe ten minutes before closing. Some places can really let you down ordering that late, but not this place. First thing we tried was the kimchi, which was tasty and a great sign. I ordered the kalbi bento, and everything in it was delicious, even the cabbage salad. It comes with a mac salad which has sort of a Hawaiian twist, but it's not a super rich mayonnaise version, which I prefer anyways. Also ordered the soon dubu, which is a great pick if you're tired of fast food/fried food. I'm going to end up trying all the soups at some point. The pricing was really reasonable in my opinion. This will be our go to Korean spot when we don't feel like driving into downtown Beaverton. Really glad to see this out in Aloha. I'm Korean American, not that I know more than anyone else--but imo this spot is legit, especially for Oregon standards. read more

This is a Korean restaurant with "no vibe" of the Korean restaurant, if you know what I mean. Mostly for Take out and they are not really set for in- dine experience. No banchan ( side dishes). Tea is Extra. We ordered Yughechang and Kalbi , assuming it would come in a Korean dining style. Instead soup came in first and Kalbi came in the "to go Box" ( with Ton of rice, MacnCheese and 3 pieces of Kalbi). It felt like "Teryaki over rice" and not Kalbi we wanted and ordered. $20 for that plate is not worth it. We had a soup... took out our next meal and walked away. Fast and tasty! This was a yummy option for if you want Korean food but are on the go. They were really friendly and made delicious food. The tteokbokki with cheese is my new guilty pleasure! It was spicy but not so much that my son couldn't enjoy it. It has a nice amount of tables around so you can sit in if you want. There are some beautiful flowers and plants that give if a zen vibe. I was looking for delivery and found this place. I love beef bulgogi and saw this place so time to try something new! I got the kalbi bento, honey got the beef bulgogi bento and (because we didn't read the menu correctly) ordered fried mandoo. Then we 1/2 the meat so we each had some kalbi and bulgogi. I've never had bulgogi without onions before. It was very good, mild flavor though. The kalbi was very good and good amount of flavor. The pasta salad was super overcooked (fall apart when touched) and such light bland flavor. It really didn't taste like much at all, mayo? The cat loved it. Maybe he's got better taste then me. The coleslaw was ok. At least it had some flavor. I'm used to side dishes for Korean food but this had none, and the 2 that came with it were bland and useless. Hey but the important part is the meat was good. The fried mandoo was very good as well. Very torn between good bulgogi but nothing else. Hopefully they step up their side dish game and offers. So can't really say if would order again and try something else or go to my usual spot. Probably stay in my own spot that has multiple good things.
