Went with a friend a few nights ago to grab some food and it's a pretty casual but really good spot for some late night Korean food. Went with the bulgolgi bimbimbap which was pretty good. A decent portion size I could barely finish but I would say not enough protein in comparison to then portion of veggies.

It was okay, nothing spectacular. I had the bulgolgi bibimbap lunch special and my partner had the tofu bibimbap lunch special. Mine didn't seem particularly flavorful, but the sauce was good and the portion was huge. The service was good and quick, not very crowded at 3 in the afternoon.

Seoul Kitchen is truly one of my go-to spots that serves authentic Korean, creative Korean fusion dishes, AND a DIY ramen bar with the most generous service! After visiting many times, I can confidently say that they actually never disappoint and every single visit has been consistently AMAZING! My absolute favorite dish on their menu is the jjimdak. They serve this dish just like how it would be in Korea, served boiling hot! I love this tender braised chicken dish and how the glass noodles soak up all of the delicious sauce, truly addicting and something I'm definitely ordering over and over again. More of my repeated orders include their extremely crispy Korean fried chicken and chili shrimp, just SO GOOD! What always brings me back to Seoul Kitchen is how they continue to innovate with new menu items while maintaining the quality I've come to expect after my first visit. Some of their newest menu items I recently tried were the mussel cream pasta, rosé pasta, and rosé risotto. I'm a huge fan of the creamy pastas with a hint of spice that balances out the richness of the dishes. Beyond the food, the service is also so friendly and attentive! The owners and staff truly make sure each visit feels welcoming and enjoyable. It's very rare to find a place that delivers such consistent quality time after time, in addition to a place with an evolving creative menu. Can genuinely say Seoul Kitchen is a great spot that I highly recommend giving a try!

I've been here a few times for lunch, and I've enjoyed it every time. The space isn't very large, but I usually go right when they open, so there are always plenty of tables available, which is a big plus when dining with coworkers during lunch hour. The staff is friendly and happy to answer any questions. They also have a great lunch menu with generous portions; I can never finish my meal. My favorites are the sweet and spicy wings and the spicy rice cake.

A place I've been wanting to try and finally did and ended up coming 2 weekends in a row.. lol. First time, we ordered Seoul ramen unlimited toppings, cheese balls, half/half wings of soy garlic and sweet/spicy. Second visit, got some ramen again, mozzarella/ buldak corn dogs and spicy squid rice bowl. The ramen was definitely fun to do, where you pick ramen and add all the toppings at the bar and voila put on the boiling water machine :): Cheese balls was ahmazing and for the wings, prefer sweet/spicy over the soy, but that's just preference. The spicy squid rice bowl was hot and def good amount of spicy! Will be coming back to try other things on the menu most definitely! Service was very attentive and K-pop music playing on tv as we dine in. Oh don't forget to scan QR code by the bar for free 2 hr parking before you leave!

My family and I have frequented this establishment, I want to say maybe 3-4 times alone this month. I am a big Asian cuisine fan and absolutely love how authentic (in my opinion) the food tastes here. Of course I have never traveled to Korea, so my version of authentic can differ from someone who has had actual authentic Korean food, but I can say that I do love me some Korean food and this place has got to be top 5 for me. The wings are great. Perfectly crispy and saucy. However, the spicy soy garlic was far from spicy... which is disappointing. I'd like a spicy wing when I order a spicy wing lol and the garlic taste was very faint. The half pound of wings is HUGE! It's good enough for 2-3 people. We have tried different dishes and my favorite is the spicy pork rice bowl with a side of kimchi. I can definitely say that the times we have been there, the food is good but it's not consistent. Sometimes the food comes out different than other times. For example, we ordered some dumplings and they were SOGGY!!! It really wasn't that good. But we ate them because we don't like to return food or waste food. So I think they really need to work on their consistency. But this doesn't deter us from coming back. I really like this place and next time I want to try the hot pot!

Arrived as soon as they opened, location and paid parking were not bad. Close enough to the Rockville courthouse. Decorations were very cute even an area for social media posting. It was a tad bit cold inside - heater wasn't quiet up and running that early. The food are very tasty and server (Noah) was pretty attentive. My son wanted so tteok for appetizer - good but wished it was spicy. We then ordered 10 piece soy garlic chicken, spicy pork rice bowl and spicy bulgogi bibimbap with fried dumplings. Again, everything tasted so good but for me needs a little more kick. They also have shelves of ramen for you to choose from to eat there. We will back to try more items in the menu. Plenty of leftovers.

Super solid Korean spot in the Rockville area. The food and vibe are very much Korean pocha vibes - great bites that go well with a good drink. We had their fried chicken and the one with onions was our favorite! Service was attentive and prices were fair! Good for a catch up with friends!

Boo-hoo, look around and you'll find a spot unless you're driving a yacht. Now, to the setting and the food...the setting is the way I like it. Rustic, clean, unassuming, not fancied up. Wooden privacy screens are set in between tables. (Perhaps because of Covid? Not sure.) This to me was really comfortable, didn't feel like I was stuck in a cattle car. I'm sure there's Korean BBQ here but we weren't at such a table. In fact it looked like grills had been removed from some tables and replaced with wooden covers. So nice to have that extra space because... Ordered bibimbap, bulgogi, steamed dumplings, etc. The extra side dishes I enjoy (kimchi, sprouts, etc.) were there as well. Ice tea, yadda yadda. Korean music was playing but it wasn't loud, on another screen by the kitchen I could see Family Guy. Again, not loud or intrusive. Didn't feel like they skimped on portions, there was plenty. Almost too much, wasn't sure I'd manage to finish the bulgogi but I did...mmm. Overall, this place is a nice break from other places. If you want to take someone out and just enjoy yourselves, this would be it. Perhaps a bit different when full, but still. Btw, it's been 13 years since I first went here. This week was only the second time. I totally forgot where it was or whether it was still around. So glad it is.

The predominant flavor of the kimchi jjigage was gochugaru. The haemul pajeon didn't have much seafood and came with several burnt spots. The japchae was extremely oily and included very few vegetables. I make better Korean food at home just by watching Maangchi videos. Speaking of videos, the only reason I found this place was through a TikTok, which offered a rave review and showed a packed restaurant. I guess this is how I know FoodTok has officially reached the mainstream, because I'm seeing more and more staged scenarios and dubious opinions. The only thing anybody had anything positive to say about was the rice, which was technically perfect. There is an old adage that goes, "you can judge a restaurant based on how well they cook their rice." But if you have a table full of food and the only thing people want to finish is the rice, then you've got a whole other problem.

I ordered a tofu soup with miso base and a kimchi pancake for the table. The pajeon was so appetizing I may have forgotten to take a picture before we dug in, and the tofu soup was just very warming. I didn't want anything spicy or I would've gotten a jjigae. You'll notice if you come here that this place is frequented by local Koreans, which tells you this is a good spot haha
