    MY V.

Heard this place had some good dumplings so I had to try it. I got the kimchi fried dumplings and the meat baos. The fried kimchi dumpling was a hit! very crispy and tasty with the dipping sauce. I didn't care too much for the meat baos, it was a bit tasteless. Enjoyed the side of radish too. Resturant is small with limited tables. I did order to go.

Wow, wow, and wow. My girlfriend and I made it into Denver, CO and we're looking for food places to eat. She recommended we try this restaurant and I said let's do it. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the owner which I appreciated very much. We asked about some of the menu items and she gave us a brief description of the different options and her personal recommendations on what to order, so we took her recommendation and ordered the Fried Dumplings with half meat and half kimchi. The food was absolutely amazing. The fried dumplings were crispy, crunchy, juicy, savory, delicious, and when paired with the sauce, it became an explosion of flavors which I loved. The only thing I was upset about was how quickly I ate them. Overall, I was extremely impressed with not only the food, but the owners as well. They were very nice and respectful, they checked on the other customers and made sure everything was going great. I definitely recommend everyone to come here and try the amazing food options that Seoul Mandoo provides. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Denver!

Not many food places leave me speechless, but Seoul ManDoo had no problem doing that! My boyfriend and I were looking at a places to eat while on my trip to Denver and this gem of a restaurant popped up. The food looked appetizing on Yelp, but I am so happy to say that the taste was just as amazing. I haven't been able to find food that reminded me of Korea since I left, but the taste of this food transported me back to my time there! I had the Giant Dumpling Combo 3 which consisted of Kimchi, Galbi, and Meat, and tried the fried meat and kimchi Seoul dumplings. Both which were amazing, and I would try to write about the flavors but there's no words for food this good. Also the sauce that comes with it is a perfect combination for the dumplings and adds even more amazing flavor. The service here is also top notch. The cashier was so kind and helpful, and just added on to our amazing experience. If I could give this place a 6th star I would, GREAT job. I will be missing this place until I come back to Denver. If you're in the area- you need to stop here !

Wow! I have never had steamed dumplings like these! The texture of the dough was fluffy yet smooth and not overwhelming the flavors hidden inside. If you like some kick to your dumplings then I highly recommend the Kimchi Dumplings. If not, then my second favorite was the meat dumplings. Both were full of flavor and perfect for one meal. I was full after eating 2. Swing by this place and check it out! It's on Yelp's top 50 for a reason.

Was really mislead by the pictures I saw on here. We got the shrimp and beef dumplings, and the shrimp was good. However the beef was still really pink inside causing us to leave in a hurry.

I wanted to find a new place to fix my dumpling craving. I opened yelp and searched. Seoul ManDoo had some really good ratings. I headed there to get a takeout order yesterday. It was not busy at 4:30 on a Sunday. I ordered the fried kimchi, and Galbi dumplings. Four to an order. These are larger than the store bought dumplings. Each order came with the dumpling sauce and chopsticks. The kimchi dumplings have a kick to them. Both were flavorful and very tasty. I'll be back. This place is located on a corner that has a lot to choose from!

Came for a Yelp event. What a cute place! I love it. I'll have to bring my son as he is into all things Korean because of his heritage. The place is cozy and warm. The server was so nice and helpful. They made up my special event box and off I went as I wanted to share my goodies with my son. The carry out box was so awesome. Well made and sturdy. The dumplings were huge. We warmed them up in a moist towelette. 4 different kinds - shrimp, kimchi, galbi and meat. Galbi is marinated meat but I wasn't sure if it was pork or beef. There were sauces included - soy sauce, chili sauce and pickled radish. The dumplings were tasty. My son really liked them. I liked the shrimp and kimchi dumplings. My son ate them all. We are definitely going to head to the restaurant and eat some warm, fresh dumplings. Can't wait.

Thanks Seoul Mandoo for hosting the Yelp event to try your tasty Korean dumplings. You need to look for this place, but it is worth it to find these authentic dumplings. Our yelp combo #4 had 4 giant dumplings. By far, my favorite was the fried shrimp and huge stuffed shrimp, lightly battered and fried perfectly. Next were a kimchi, and 2 meat dumplings. They were all huge! Absolutely loved the dipping sauce (needed 2 of them, what can I say, I'm a dipper). I totally recommend Mandoos, and the owner is such a sweety and made us feel very welcome. Check it out!

This place is definitely not overhyped! It deserves all the high ratings. We were first greeted ever so warmly by the lady whom I assumed was the owner. I got a 4 giant dumplings combo and a Korean rice cake. Was wondering if that'll be enough for two people. She didn't pressure me to order more but suggested that I tried the food first. She also didn't need me to pay up front just in case I want to order more. The food came out and everything was delicious. I mean, DELISH! First things first: unless you're lactose intolerant, ask for cheese topping for the rice cakes, it'll be so fun to eat! All 4 of the giant dumplings in the combo were wonderful in different ways. The Kimchi one had just the right amount of kick. The shrimp one is hubby's favorite. I loved the bun skin on the non-fried Mandoos just as much. Everything has that home-y feel like when you go home for dinner. The skin to filling ratio is impeccable. I'd love to come back and try the veggie Mandoos!

First off, a HUGE applause to the service! In this small, family-run operation, I have never felt so much compassion and care in the food service. While it's a walk-up counter style ordering, she was very kind to explain all the different menu items and providing suggestions/recommendations. She also came to our booth multiple times through our dinner to check in on us. Very unnecessary but very much appreciated! These buns- WOW- they live up to the hype! I highly recommend the 4-pack, where you can try a little of everything. My husband's favorite is the shrimp, mine was the kimchi. GO- you are missing out!!!

We came here Wednesday evening for dinner time. The dining space is very small and cozy, but we were still able to grab a spot. Service was so friendly and kind. We ordered the giant 4 combo plate, fried meat dumplings, and the sweet red bean paste buns. Our food was ready promptly and steaming hot and fresh. The giant combo plate was truly giant. The texture of the steamed buns were so soft and fluffy. All were delicious but I think my favorites were the Galbi and the fried shrimp. The fried meat dumplings were also fantastic. So hot and crunchy on the outside, meat so juicy on the inside. I also love the pickled radish served on the side. We ended with the sweet red bean buns. They were massive and not as sweet as we were expecting, but still delicious (also made for great leftovers). I would definitely come back to Seoul Mandoo. Their other menu items look so good, and their kind service was a huge plus!

After the last YelpEvent, I was hungry for some more mandoo and also wanted to try their ddeokboki with cheese. When we got there, there was only one couple dining. Now you know how the story goes. We ordered the vegi mandoo, ddeokboki with cheese to eat at the restaurant. We also got $25 frozen meat dumplings to go. The cashier brought out a small dish, dipping sauce and dish of diakon (yellow pickled radish). Took about 10 minutes to get our food and was surprised to find that our vegi dumpling had green skin. Our mandoo was delicious as expected and loved ddeokboki which had perfect level of spiciness. By this time, the place was packed with to go orders. 5 stars all the way!

    Super filled buns!

That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

We ordered the combo deals that's a tofu soup with a grilled meat of your choice for about $30-38 a person, depending on the meat of your choice. The meat is tasty, the bulgogi is a little bit on the sweet side... and the tofu soup... it's probably the most saddest, mediocre Korean tofu soup I've ever had, and essentially $20 a pop - definitely not worth it. The broth flavor was good, the soup literally had tofu and the meat of your choice... no veggies, no kimchi, no egg... Unfortunately, the experience was mixed--and ultimately disappointing. Before the meal, I stopped by the restroom to wash my hands. Both soap dispensers were empty or not working. I notified the bathroom attendant, assuming it would be quickly addressed. At the time, I brushed it off as a minor oversight. One of the highlights of Korean BBQ is always the variety of vegetable side dishes, and this visit did not disappoint in that regard. The assortment of banchan was plentiful--definitely the best part of the meal and something I always look forward to. However, the main dish fell short. I ordered the Kalbi Tang, which was quite disappointing. The beef ribs were clearly undercooked; the meat was tough, bristly, and difficult to chew. Instead of the tender, slow-cooked texture you expect from this dish. After the meal, I returned to the restroom--and to my surprise, the soap dispensers were still not working. This was no longer a small issue. It raised a serious concern: if customers didn't have access to soap, it's very possible that employees didn't either. The thought that staff might be handling food without properly washing their hands is unsettling and frankly unacceptable. I once heard a food inspector say that if you want to judge a restaurant, check the bathroom first. If they don't care about maintaining a basic level of cleanliness, it often reflects what's happening behind the scenes. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced that idea. While the side dishes were enjoyable, the combination of poor entree quality and concerning hygiene issues makes it hard to recommend returning anytime soon.
