Seoul ManDoo is a great find for takeout. My order was ready in a manner of minutes, of which I waited comfortably in their clean and cute seating area. I ordered their 4pc giant dumpling combo and got four flavors. My favorites were the shrimp and the kimchi dumplings. The dumpling was well-stuffed. Absolutely full of veggies and noodles. the fried shrimp dumpling was satisfyingly crispy. This plate comes with a zesty sauce and a side of pickled radish. The sauce was perfect to pour onto or dip your dumpling in and the radish was a nice, crunchy palette cleanser between different flavors. I also ordered some frozen dumplings to take home. Wow, wow, and wow. My girlfriend and I made it into Denver, CO and we're looking for food places to eat. She recommended we try this restaurant and I said let's do it. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the owner which I appreciated very much. We asked about some of the menu items and she gave us a brief description of the different options and her personal recommendations on what to order, so we took her recommendation and ordered the Fried Dumplings with half meat and half kimchi. The food was absolutely amazing. The fried dumplings were crispy, crunchy, juicy, savory, delicious, and when paired with the sauce, it became an explosion of flavors which I loved. The only thing I was upset about was how quickly I ate them. Overall, I was extremely impressed with not only the food, but the owners as well. They were very nice and respectful, they checked on the other customers and made sure everything was going great. Not many food places leave me speechless, but Seoul ManDoo had no problem doing that! My boyfriend and I were looking at a places to eat while on my trip to Denver and this gem of a restaurant popped up. The food looked appetizing on Yelp, but I am so happy to say that the taste was just as amazing. I haven't been able to find food that reminded me of Korea since I left, but the taste of this food transported me back to my time there! I had the Giant Dumpling Combo 3 which consisted of Kimchi, Galbi, and Meat, and tried the fried meat and kimchi Seoul dumplings. Both which were amazing, and I would try to write about the flavors but there's no words for food this good. Also the sauce that comes with it is a perfect combination for the dumplings and adds even more amazing flavor. The service here is also top notch. The cashier was so kind and helpful, and just added on to our amazing experience. If I could give this place a 6th star I would, GREAT job. I will be missing this place until I come back to Denver. I wanted to find a new place to fix my dumpling craving. I opened yelp and searched. Seoul ManDoo had some really good ratings. I headed there to get a takeout order yesterday. It was not busy at 4:30 on a Sunday. I ordered the fried kimchi, and Galbi dumplings. Four to an order. These are larger than the store bought dumplings. Each order came with the dumpling sauce and chopsticks. The kimchi dumplings have a kick to them. Both were flavorful and very tasty. I'll be back. Came for a Yelp event. What a cute place! I love it. I'll have to bring my son as he is into all things Korean because of his heritage. The place is cozy and warm. The server was so nice and helpful. They made up my special event box and off I went as I wanted to share my goodies with my son. The carry out box was so awesome. Well made and sturdy. The dumplings were huge. We warmed them up in a moist towelette. 4 different kinds - shrimp, kimchi, galbi and meat. Galbi is marinated meat but I wasn't sure if it was pork or beef. Our yelp combo #4 had 4 giant dumplings. By far, my favorite was the fried shrimp and huge stuffed shrimp, lightly battered and fried perfectly. Next were a kimchi, and 2 meat dumplings. This place is definitely not overhyped! It deserves all the high ratings. We were first greeted ever so warmly by the lady whom I assumed was the owner. I got a 4 giant dumplings combo and a Korean rice cake. Was wondering if that'll be enough for two people. She didn't pressure me to order more but suggested that I tried the food first. She also didn't need me to pay up front just in case I want to order more. The food came out and everything was delicious. I mean, DELISH! First things first: unless you're lactose intolerant, ask for cheese topping for the rice cakes, it'll be so fun to eat! All 4 of the giant dumplings in the combo were wonderful in different ways. The food is very tasty and they have a loyal following . They are locating or perhaps now I should say have located. I'm not certain exactly of that status other than on my last visit they told me they were moving soon. Their new location is near H Mart for those of you who know H Mart. For those of you who do not know H Mart from their present location it is approximately a mile and a half north on Havana.. turn left on Yale and then it will be a right turn 800 feet into that shopping center. We ordered the giant 4 combo plate, fried meat dumplings, and the sweet red bean paste buns. Our food was ready promptly and steaming hot and fresh. The giant combo plate was truly giant. The texture of the steamed buns were so soft and fluffy. All were delicious but I think my favorites were the Galbi and the fried shrimp. The fried meat dumplings were also fantastic. So hot and crunchy on the outside, meat so juicy on the inside. I also love the pickled radish served on the side. We ended with the sweet red bean buns. They were massive and not as sweet as we were expecting, but still delicious (also made for great leftovers). I would definitely come back to Seoul Mandoo. After the last YelpEvent, I was hungry for some more mandoo and also wanted to try their ddeokboki with cheese. When we got there, there was only one couple dining. Now you know how the story goes. We ordered the vegi mandoo, ddeokboki with cheese to eat at the restaurant. We also got $25 frozen meat dumplings to go. The cashier brought out a small dish, dipping sauce and dish of diakon (yellow pickled radish). Took about 10 minutes to get our food and was surprised to find that our vegi dumpling had green skin. We walked in and we were warmly greeted by the staff. This small establishment makes big dumplings! If you plan to eat in there are 4 tables, 12 seats total but you can also take the buns to go including frozen buns! The bun was absolutely fantastic, filled up to the rim, and so elegantly twisted shut. The flavors were delicious but subtle. Thank you Seoul Mandoo for participating in this Yelp event. As a person who previously lived in Korea, the taste of mandoo was greatly missed and this fulfilled my longing. Not to mention the friendly Korean lady reminiscent of the Korean Ajoommas (ladies) in Korea. The size of the mandoo is pretty large and priced fairly. The outer bun was very soft and had a nice subtle flavor to it. I just wish that the filling was slightly more moist and flavorful. I noticed that my reliance on the soy sauce was pretty heavy. Same goes for the Jjin Ppang (more moist and sweet). This combination left me quite thirsty throughout my dining experience. Also, water was not provided and sold for a dollar. Overall, eating here was a pretty good experience and I will be coming back when my cravings for mandoo are back. Thank you again! read more

We found this place from Yelp reviews and it has become one of our favorite little hole-in-the-walls. We will drive across town to eat here. This place is small, but never packed. The people working here are some of the kindest humans I've ever encountered. They always make us feel welcome. We always get an order of the fried shrimp giant dumplings to split, and then I get the fried kimchi Seoul dumplings, and the hubby gets the fried meat Seoul dumplings. Pro tip: reheat the leftovers the next day in the air fryer at 375° for 6 minutes and they're just as good as the day before. Someday I'll try the steamed dumplings, but for now, I'll stick with the regular. Pro tip: the parking lot is probably the worst parking lot in the city, so park on the street to save yourself some anxiety. read more

I finally went to this 5-star dumpling place today and I COMPLETELY understand all the raves many people have given it! My experience today absolutely met my expectations! This tiny place humbly exists on the busy Havana St. However, it can easily be missed if you're just driving in the neighborhood to find a nice place to eat or take out; or unless you hear it from someone. So make sure to make a right turn onto Warren St from Havana if you are northbound and quickly turn into the shopping center on the very corner! The lady (not sure if she is the owner) welcomed me with a nice smile. I had already known what I wanted to get (I checked out their menu ahead of time): the $13 combo that comes with 4 different dumplings and 3 of them are those giant ones. It was my first visit so what else would be more suitable for a first timer like me, right?? Once my order was placed I waited outside as there was a sign at the register that says so: "Please wait outside." I wanted to comply with the restaurant rule although I wasn't sure if they were strictly enforcing it. It was a very quick service; my dumplings were ready in 5 minutes; well, I was the only customer anyway! The lady politely bowed a few times when she came out to hand me my takeout. At home, I savored each dumpling in a real sense. I didn't rush to devour to ruin this precious moment. Every dumpling was so delicious! We have been in for the dumplings several times and they are the best we have ever had! Super light and crispy with a delicious moist filling. The staff we have met do not seem to speak fluent English but are always very kind and friendly. The place is the last shop in a strip mall plaza. What I love about these Yelp events is that it challenges our tastes buds and makes us take a trip outside our zip code. Well organized, I ordered extra food to go with our 4 dumpling combo and it was ready on time. It's a 30 minute drive here but to my surprise, when I got home the food was still piping hot! I was a bit apprehensive trying the kimchi but the flavor was well blended with the meat. The fried meat dumplings and shrimp dumpling is where it's at. Crunchy and fatty, it was delicious. Now I'm a bit let down that the galbi dumpling was more shredded veggies and noodles than galbi. I expected a galbi filled dumpling. Even though spicy dipping sauce was provided, I was surprised that the dumplings didn't have the usual punch of flavor that most Korean dishes have. My mother loved them though. Seoul (capital of South Korea) ManDoo (dumplings) is locally owned by a Korean chef with over 20 years of experience. These buns are well know street food and can be steamed or deep fried. The menu is focused only on dumplings and my favorite out of the combo 4 was the shrimp. They also have a desert like Jjin Ppang with red bean paste not overly sweet. The pickled radish is also on point. The seating area is cozy and they also sell frozen packs for takeout. The counter lady is super nice and she ran out of the store made sure to give my cellphone because I left it on the seat. Overall the place has a good vibe with great service. Great place for some yummy handmade dumplings. We tried the meat, veggie, galbi, and shrimp giant dumplings. The dough is fluffy and the filling inside is mostly all the same, it seems, with the addition of the different proteins. The fried shrimp dumplings were my favorite. We ordered our food to go and it came with a plethora of sauce and a few ramekins of yellow pickled radish. I think they even gave us an extra red bean dumpling to try. It ended up being A LOT of food but we pushed through. My top choice was the Kimchi Dumplings with the Shrimp Dumpling coming in a close second. Seoul ManDoo opened during (the first) peak Corona season, but man is it a dumpling breath of fresh air to the Denver Metro area. They serve delicious Korean dumplings (pronounced mahn-du, not MAN-do) with perfectly flavored fillings that would satisfy Korean food purists and adventurous American palates alike. It's a small shop that specializes in doing one thing really well, more like what you'd see in New York or San Francisco compared to what we're used to seeing in Denver. I think that's a big part of the charm here. This is how many Asian restaurants are in cool cities around the world, and we finally have another one here! There are only a handful of tables, but in theory, in a regular world, they would turn over quickly because the food comes out quickly, hot, and shouldn't take any normal person more than 15-20 minutes to eat. We had the four-piece giant mandoo combo, three of which came steamed (galbi, kimchee, meat) and one was fried (shrimp). They were all delicious and unique, but the shrimp with its fried exterior was the star of the show, and the galbi was a very close second. They're all delicious, and as a meal, these put a dim sum pork bun to shame. They're on a different level. While service anywhere right now isn't normal, we were warmly greeted and walked through the menu. While I'm Korean and know what's going on, I loved that they walked my wife through the options too. It's a very not intimidating way to try Korean food that isn't BBQ. This is like quick serve Korean food, and man, is it good. If Seoul ManDoo was in SF/NY/LA, there would be an hour wait to get in for these delicious dumplings. This is the kind of restaurant that we need more of in Denver, and especially because they're a new restaurant that opened during the worst possible time, I will absolutely be back to support them! read more

There are 5 flavors to choose from, kimchi, pork, veggies, Kalbi (Korean BBQ beef) and prawn which was in dumplings only. I ordered the 4 pieces combination and chose to eat in because steamed buns should be eaten steaming hot. Of the four I had, my favorite was the kalbi, very flavorful. The prawn dumpling was my least favorite, it was a bit oily. The sourness of the kimchi did come through, and it was not spicy. The restaurant is very small, only 4 tables inside that seat less than a dozen people and 2 small tables outside. I got there before 11:30, and a few minutes later customers started to pour in. These dumplings are loaded with different fillings, including Koreran BBQ, Kimchi, shrimp, cabbage, and starch noodles. The fried dumplings are crisp and chewy. The shrimp dumpling was amazing. I loved the "stuffing" like flavors with a Korean twist. These dumplings are not like Chinese dumplings and their fillings are less dense. The service was very friendly and the whole experience felt authentically Korean. I'm not an expert, but my daughter is a K Drama enthusiast and she loved the experience.
