I've already reviewed this place a couple of years. Still amazing! Went in for their anniversary weekend, as expected it was super crowded, but once you're seated; the service is outstanding

Went to this Factoria location for my cousin's birthday with a party of 10 and the service is the worst I've had. Happy Lamb Lynnwood has running a promotion earlier this week (I went with another party of 10) and was much busier and we had better service there. Food took a long time to come, the quantity was wrong, the quality of the "Wagyu" was not good after the first round, and we waited for our cake that we had stored in their fridge for 30 minutes. Every time we asked for it, they said they were preparing it and that they were busy. My cousin ended up walking around to talk to an employee about bring out the cake for the third time, and one of them said "oh the cake? Is it yours? It's been sitting out here for 20 minutes". They were certainly not "preparing" it either, all they did was take it out of the box. And just after we thought it couldn't get worse, they didn't give us a knife to cut the cake with. When we asked, they gave us a small butter knife. Safe to say I will not be coming here again.

    Lamb bone (1lb)

Bought bowls of lamb bone from here, it says lamb bone (1lb) on the Menu. I think it should contain 1lb of bones, but my order came with half of the bowl and I do not think it's 1lb. They seems like from someone's leftover :( Come on happy lamb...

Went to Happy Lamb Bellevue and experienced hotpot for the first time! It can be a little overwhelming at first, as the menu is quite extensive in options and the restaurant itself was very busy, but staff was super helpful in explaining how to order, recommendations and how to navigate things. The food that came out was super delicious and all seemed really nicely prepared. Our favorite between the original and spicy broths was definitely the spicy one. Would definitely come back!

We went for AYCE lunch regular with 4 people, one of us had a birthday so we got the 1 free meal with a part of 4. Our first round order we ordered 4 types of meat and it was plenty of food for us 4 plus veggies. The service was attentive and very friendly. We enjoyed our meal in comfort! The decorations were clean. Going at a weekday lunch is very relaxed with limited customers. Note the sauce bar is extra $3/person. Soup is also extra per person. The sauce bar includes desserts so it's worth it if you're looking for fruits, appetizers and dessert.

Stopped by again on a Saturday night with a reservation at 7pm for 8 people. I usually love this spot and the service but it didn't quite live up to previous visits. I'm giving 3 stars because I love the food and have only had great experiences in the past, but this last dinner was not a great representation. First, you cannot add a party larger than 6 people to the waitlist which I totally understand! The site tells you to contact the restaurant for large parties so I called but it sent me to an automated message asking for my zip code and a PIN number, which I don't have. There is no way to join the waitlist if you are a large group and the phone is not picked up, which is a bit stressful. I finally just added us to the waitlist as a party of 6 and wrote that it would be 8 people and left my number. They called me within a few minutes and set a reservation for 7. We didn't get seated until after 7:30, which was a bit annoying but I understand is not totally their fault. Second, they have changed from using menus and paper to fill out to using iPads at each table. Great in theory as the order gets sent directly to the kitchen, but it made it hard to order with a large group as only two people could look through the menu and order at a time and you could only order 1 broth. Along with this, you can only place an order every 25 minutes (i think?). I think that this would be great for smaller tables or for less busy nights, but because we didn't order with our server, we didn't know multiple plates that we had been waiting on were out of stock. I think they could benefit from a few more employees on weekends and maybe an outdoor waiting area so that the entrance doesn't get packed shoulder to shoulder as people wait! This experience won't prevent me from returning because I love the food so much, but I probably will not be coming back with a group larger than 4 people.

I hadn't been to this location in a while, and it happened to be happy hour when I stopped by. I like that they replaced the paper menu with an iPad because it allows me to fine-tune the amount I want to order. That said, I noticed the portioning was inconsistent. For items like appetizers, the quantity matched the number I ordered. But for other items, such as vegetables and meatballs, the portions didn't reflect what I selected. During round two, I received fewer vegetables even though I ordered more than in round one. I also received more meatballs than I wanted when I only selected one piece. That was a bit frustrating and made it hard to gauge how much to order. Food was good as usual.

This is a solid all-you-can-eat hot pot spot with two pricing options. The higher-priced option includes drinks and wagyu beef, but we chose the cheaper tier. After tax and tip, it came out to about $50 per person, which felt reasonable for AYCE. They also offer a happy hour discount, which makes it an even better deal if you go at the right time. For the soup base, you can choose a combo. We went with a split pot: one spicy mala broth and one tomato broth. Both were flavorful -- the mala had a nice numbing heat without being overwhelming, and the tomato broth was rich and slightly sweet, great for balancing the spice. There's a self-serve sauce bar, appetizers, and fruit included. The selection of meats and vegetables isn't huge, but it covers the essentials: beef, lamb, and a variety of meatballs and fish balls. Everything tasted fresh. The fried chicken wings and brown sugar rice cakes (hong tang ci ba) are also included, which was a pleasant surprise. Both were actually really good -- crispy, flavorful wings and chewy, lightly sweet rice cakes that were perfect to end the meal. Overall, it's a good value for the price, especially during happy hour. Not the largest selection, but solid quality and satisfying experience.

To be very honest, any Happy Lamb hot pot experience will be a positive one. I've been to one downtown, so I expected a similar experience. I didn't know it would be like THIS though. Let's get into the review. Food This restaurant offers wide variety of meats that you can use for your hot pot as well as different hot pot soups to choose from. I love heat, so I chose the spicy one. We ended up ordering a couple of meats and appetizers, and didn't realize just how much food that was. I highly recommend to start off with two or three meats, and by the time you finish you can gauge if you need to order more. At any rate, the food tasted amazing! If you go, I recommend getting the octopus. Service Shout out to our waiter//server. He was so attentive and engaging, I darn well felt like I was eating at a Michelin star restaurant. But to continue, I can't even remember if I looked down at my glass and my water cup was not full. When we talk about being attentive, that's what we're talking about! He also helped me choose the right selection to complement my food when my preferred was out! His helpfulness definitely added to the experience! Ambiance This restaurant is appropriately dim, with the focus areas of light shining on the tables. That is the vibe that I was going for and I'm so happy that they understood the mission and executed on it. The music was also appropriate. It helps at the mood, not too loud, but just enough for you to speak at regular volume and not be drowned out by the music. All in all, I give this restaurant a 5/5 would recommend. Going here is an absolute MUST if you are craving hot pot.

Upgrading to 5 Stars. Near Premium. Consistency. Service. Menu Selection. Food Quality. Added "Near Premium" to why we return consistently here. I don't mean near premium as a negative, rather it means near top tier meat quality at other hotpots that charge a high price, but with less quantity as those other establishments are not AYCE. The premium AYCE here is great, and a very good bang for the buck. Personally I stick with the Wagyu and Ribeye beef choices now. The lamb used to be my favorite but with the newly added premium beef, its beef all the way now! Bang for the buck, AYCE + quality beef. The consistency and knowing what you'll get everytime you visit is a winning recipe here. Service always friendly, and the menu selection is rather large. Now that is is fall/winter is here, HOTPOT is back in super vogue pose. Not that we don't eat hotpot when its hot out, but nothing beats hotpot on a rainy, chilly, moody romantic day.

Happy hour as of 2025 December 9th: 2 - 5pm Mon - Fri, classic ayce 29.98, prime ayce 40.98. Applies every day after 9pm Mon - Sun Awesome experience once again, from our server Evan who made sure everything came out fast and nothing was missed. Another server was excellent with helping us but I couldn't get his name! fresh meat and seafood options galore, it was a proper celebratory Christmas meal! Loved that the sauce bar has crawfish, and a spicy tripe & cucumbers along with snack peanuts. My absolute favorites, I could subsist on the sauce bar and ice cream alone. The ordering style is now an ipad instead of paper, and the internet cut out on the pad, but nothing about our service pace or style changed, so everything was fine! Lots of large groups (8 or more people) also came in for Christmas dinner, so it was lively where people were also exchanging gifts at their table, it was so nice to see. Thank you happy lamb for a great time as usual!

Happy Lamb has been my go-to spot for hot pot for a while now, and it consistently hits the spot. With AYCE, you can load up on all your favorites, and the self-serve sauce bar is always stocked--not just with condiments but also extras like spring rolls, dumplings, fruit, desserts, and more. The staff does a great job keeping things clean, constantly wiping down surfaces, which I always appreciate. My only complaint is that the self-serve bar tends to bottleneck. The line moves slowly and it can block the walkway, which gets a bit inconvenient during busy hours. And it is almost always busy, so I recommend checking the Yelp virtual waitlist to cut down on wait time. I usually check how long the wait is and add myself when I'm about that far out. They recently switched to iPad ordering instead of the old paper system. It's straightforward and easy to use, but personally, I kind of miss the paper. Still, service is consistently attentive, and if something gets missed, they're quick to fix it. Overall, there's a reason I keep coming back--great food, good vibes, and an ideal spot to enjoy hot pot with friends.

So off we go to check it out. It's right off the freeway, I forget which one since I'm not driving. The buffet is located in a shopping center with lots of parking. I think there's a Thai restaurant across the parking lot from here. We go in and wow, this is a nicer buffet than most other one's I've been to. The dining area is very large and clean. I see the prices on a sign. Looks like about $30 for dinner, plus they add the tip of 10%. I guess that's about standard to leave for a tip at a self serve buffet. We get seated and head up to the buffet. Looks like they have a big sushi section and a Mongolian grill section as well. Looking at all the food, I'd say the quality is better than most buffet I go to in CA. The dishes just look better. I'm gonna say in general, the food in the Seattle is a higher quality and more foodie oriented than down where I live. I even tried some of the sushi and it was seemed as good as any all you can eat place. Normally sushi at a buffet is something I avoid. I had ribs and some shellfish seafood and various other American Chinese foods. I did see a few more authentic dishes that I couldn't exactly tell what it was, so I guess it means it was authentic! The dim sum area was also mostly empty. Chicken feet, shrimp dumplings, and other items were gone for long stretches, and some dishes looked like they hadn't been refreshed in a while. Several entrées were empty and not refilled promptly. They also charge extra for soda, coffee, and tea, which adds even more to the cost. If you live on the Eastside and want Chinese food with some sushi without driving far, this place is convenient. Noodle Nine delivers a genuinely authentic dining experience that feels like stepping into a slice…read moreof everyday Asia rather than a polished, commercialized version of it. From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

We have tried other places but we keep coming back to shaburina because the service is always amazing and the food is great. They have added tablets at every table to order food, drinks, or refills. It's super easy to use and definitely a game changer. Only sad part is they now serve ice cream in a disposable cup rather than a cone. I hope they were just out of cones and this isn't a permanent change.

My son graduated and I made reservations here in advance and called to ask about a table for 10, and if they could accommodate us and they said they could. Great! And I separately called about wanting to bring cupcakes and if that was allowed and they were cool with that, so super! It is one of my son's favorite spots so when the evening arrived, we got to the restaurant only to be led to a table that seated 6 in one corner and 4 kitty corner from that table. So...a family gathering had to be split, with 4 of us not even being at the same table as my son-including me. Mom. And in order to be close to him I sat with my back turned from him. Not ideal at all. So I was definitely miffed by this. I approached someone about it-not sure if he's the manager or not but he was very apologetic about it and said that they don't have seating for 10 at one table. But they tried their best by putting us all in the corner together. Not the same thing unfortunately as we could not all celebrate or converse all together. I told him that I had called specifically asking if they could accommodate 10 and I was assured they could but I did not know I had to ask "at the same table?". They should have been forthcoming that it would be at two different tables otherwise I would have made a reservation elsewhere for the celebration. What could I do but just accept his apology? But then, with a party of 10, I would think we would get extra attention but I guess since tip is already included after 5 in a party, they just called it in because I had to ask for more plates, more napkins, spoons, & water because the setting at the table was for 2, and we had 4. No one even asked us if we needed any more broth nor did they ever come to ask if anyone wanted a refill of the AYCE meats. Not that we could eat anymore but no one even offered. And, since everyone had to order the same meat plates, and one person wanted the wagyu, we all had to get wagyu at our table. Doesn't seem fair to me especially when they don't even offer more but I guess that's policy. When my son and I come in by ourselves, they are very attentive and always ask us if we need more of anything. But it was hard to find anyone to come to our table. They never checked on us after they brought the broth and meats the one time. So let me say I was very upset that the tip was included because really, no one served us unless we asked for more things. No one checked on us. Then I had to go and find someone so we could pay our bill. They apologized again for not seating us together but what could I say at that point? I'm not going to make a scene but it ruined a special night when all of the family couldn't sit together. Very disappointed with this visit especially when it's one of our fave places and we frequent it often and spent a good amount of $ that night with 10 people.
