So it looks like this place has gone through several concepts and now they've settled on pre-built bowls (no more build-your-own). You can choose between bulgogi, chicken, and pork and then choose which toppings you'd like. The bowl was AMAZING. The sauces just hit. My husband got the pork and I got the chicken and we both really enjoyed what are currently reasonably-priced bowls. The cauliflower and corn were so tasty. Plenty of space to sit and right next to the movie theater so this is a great spot to get something to eat right before your film and they are FAST. The strawberry dragonfruit punch was also tasty and just the right amount of sweet. Definitely would come back here.

Food: 5/5 service: 5/5 Wait time: 5/5 Accommodations: 5/5 Decor: 5/5 The food was really good! The worker allowed us to substitute spicy pork for the bulgogi for the fries! I was very appreciative of that. The food came out incredibly quickly and was very affordable! They provided us with 2 really tasty side of the sauce. I accidentally dropped on, but they were very nice about cleaning it up and telling me not to worry about it. They were very nice and funny. It made it feel like a fun place and very welcoming to come back. The place has very simple decorations. This would be a great place to get a bite with friends as there were a lot of seats and tables!

Surprisingly delicious! Was watching a movie at AMC and decided to give this spot a try.. and we were so glad we did! My husband and I wanted to split a Spicy Pork bowl and Bulgogi fries. The worker let us know that there was a cheaper combo with an upgrade that included a drink which ended up saving us money. We love that kind of service!!! And the prices were pretty reasonable too! The food ended up being so good! The meat was the star of the show! Soo flavorful and cooked to perfection. We truly enjoyed both the spicy pork and bulgogi in the fries. My main gripe was that I wish there was more meat. The bulgogi fries were so much better than I expected. The fries were actual perfection - golden brown, great flavor, crunchy all around, and fluffy on the inside. It's been a while since I've had perfect fries like that! The toppings were great, I just wish I had more. I loved all the fixings on the spicy pork bowl too and was surprised at how wholesome and "light" the bowl felt. I enjoyed that! Food was really good! And great value too Overall, give this place a try! It just might surprise you.. like it did for me :)

It's odd, I couldn't really figure out the identity of this restaurant. Poke, Korean fusion, lemonades & refreshers, thai and taro milk tea, it's all over the place. All that made it difficult to choose what to eat, admittedly because all the menu pictures looked delicious. Unfortunately, the dishes we got weren't as appetizing. Umami fold (beef) - bulgogi, rice, corn... that's it. It was just salty, with no interesting texture. After a few bites it became monotonous and ...boring to eat. It didn't quite live up to its description of "marinated beef inside a warm, crispy wrap layered with fragrant steamed rice and a vibrant medley of Asian vegetables." Yuzu sweet chili wings - what a letdown. Tasted like frozen Costco wings tossed in some generic sauce, with some yuzu flavored aioli drizzle. Seoul Street fries - probably the best of the three dishes, but still very underwhelming. The menu picture had a plethora of toppings, and what we got was hardly a scoop of onions, kimchi, meat. Although there was plenty of sauce, which helped. The redeeming factor was the service. Since they were slow, the guy took his time explaining the menu, made suggestions, and answered all of our questions. He even let us sub out items if we wished. Yelp Adventures 2025 - 11 of ??

The District Eatery is a Korean version of Chipotle/CAVA where you can build a bowl and customize items in an assembly line fashion. BYOB ($14) - For my base I went with kale salad and my protein on one visit was beef bulgogi and on a subsequent visit was the spicy beef. I definitely recommend going with the spicy beef, it wasn't too spicy and has a lot of flavor. Topping selection included: cucumber, onions, kimchi, corn, edamame, tomatoes, pineapple, guacamole, or pickled onions. On my 1st visit they let me choose all the toppings and the next time they said only 5 of the toppings. Finally one can top it off with some sauces. I enjoyed the spicy mayo. Overall the food was fresh, filling and tasted pretty good. Pricing is reasonable if one selects the beef option (CAVA charges extra for beef). The chicken pricing is slightly more than what CAVA charges. They do have shrimp and salmon options but those are $3.50 more. One thing they can improve on here is not limit the toppings to 5, but should allow customers to select as many, just like CAVA.

    Gochujang chicken rice bowl
    Jordan M.

Way to expensive for a bowl of "rice". We feel scammed we got 3 small pieces of chicken in this bowl and barely any sides but a whole ton of rice. We also got the bulgogi fries which was just as bad 2/3 fries with minimal sauce and a tiny bit of meat. Would not recommend this place unless you want to pay so much for a bowl of rice. I would have give two stars if it wasn't for the girl at the register. She acted like she hated being there and had a face with no expression. She didn't try to help us with the order or even offer to explain the menu. Please save your money and go somewhere else and don't be tricked by the other reviews on here I fell for it and I'm pretty sure they're fake.

A poke bowl-style rice bowl place nested in a hidden corner next to the AMC theater, The District Eatery hits the mark with its delicious rice bowls with a wide variety of options. They were also running a promotion today so I got a drink included with my meal! Build a bowl (5/5): I built my bowl with bulgogi beef, seasoned rice, a bunch of vegetables, and ponzu sauce + spicy mayo, and it was delicious! Mango lemonade (4/5): Pretty good, but a little sweeter than I would've liked.

Went here on a whim, didn't know they had opened! The food is delish, and i love that you can take your bowl out to sit in the sun on the promenade. I got spicy grilled chicken with this really good peach sauce. Pineapple, kimchi, green onion, radish, and cucumber. Greens base. Yum! My server, Soon, was fantastic. Let me taste the sauces and was very generous with the portions! Single protein was more than enough for me.

Quick Summary Located next to the AMC theatre, this Korean fast casual restaurant is really tasty using quality ingredients. Easy parking at the District at the most part. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating like most places at the District Food- 5 stars Tried the Korean Street bowl and it was really tasty. Everything tasted fresh and the tri tip so very juicy and tender (no cheap meat here). Service- 5 stars The owner was fantastic and really helpful with explaining the menu. My only feedback was that the server should've cut the tri tip a bit thinner, but I should've said something prior Bottom Line Really good fast casual Korean spot using fresh and quality ingredients

Double protein and triple protein bowls
    Natalie Y.

When we first walked in, we were both so overwhelmed because there were a lot of options on the menu (when creating your bowl) I ended up getting the triple protein which were the grilled chicken, shrimp, and salmon! I happened to see a piece of salmon in the protein section and didn't see it on the menu so I asked them if I could add it to my bowl. And I was able to for no extra charge! Also i think the owner/chef said he would make fresh chicken and shrimp for me which was so nice of him! For my base, I got the seasoned rice and kale salad (both really tasty)! For the marinade, I asked which was their most popular and they said the honey garlic is very well liked so I got that! And for my toppings, I originally wanted guac but beware! it's extra! so instead, I got corn, kimchi, pickled radish, cucumber, and tomatoes! I also got a gochujang drizzle on top. Overall the meal was yummy! The freshly made protein made it 10x better too! I would come back here again for a quick and healthy meal :) The inside has plenty of seating and some tables and chairs on the outside as well! The meal is pretty convenient to take out around if you want to eat somewhere else. Also their free lemon infused water is so good and refreshing!

Marinated chicken, cucumber, guacamole, mixed greens, corn, edamame, rice, fried onions Simple and tasty :)
    Geradine J.

I love this place! It's like Chipotle, you build your own bowl. You choose your base - rice, mixed greens, or kale salad. Then you pick your meats. - Spicy or non spicy - chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp. Then add your toppings - onions, kimchi, edamame, corn, cucumber, tomatoes, pineapple, guacamole, pickled onions. Next pick your sauce - honey garlic, sweet ponzu, yuzu, spicy umami, spicy mayo, miso, garlic aioli, or pineapple aioli. And top it off with crunchy - fried onion or furikake Some times I just want something simple and tasty like this, meat and added veggies. Dog friendly and the customer service is always great! Will be coming back often!

The food was really tasty, we build our own bowls. We got the spicy bulgogi and regular bulgogi and both were good. The service was great, workers were very friendly and patient in explaining the items. Inside the ambiance was very chill. New spot to try next to AMC.

Burger French Fries and mixed lemonade.

The burger was delicious and the fries were so good I snuck them into AMC to eat during my movie. It was quiet so I ate inside the restaurant. The service was very quick and an employee recommended I mix the dragonfruit drink with lemonade, it did not disappoint! With tip it came out to $24, I definitely would come again.

The restaurant strikes a…read moregreat balance between casual comfort food and high-quality ingredients, and every visit has been consistently enjoyable. The star of the menu is definitely the pho. The broth is rich, flavorful, and clearly simmered with care--not overly salty or greasy like some places. The meats are tender, portions are generous, and the noodles always have the perfect texture. If you're a first-time visitor, I highly recommend trying one of their signature pho bowls. Their garlic noodles are another standout. Perfectly seasoned with a buttery garlic flavor and a slight savory kick, they pair incredibly well with the grilled meats. The shaken beef and grilled pork are both excellent options if you're looking for something beyond traditional pho. One thing that really sets Sup Noodle apart is the variety of appetizers and sides. The crispy egg rolls are packed with flavor, and the wings are surprisingly good--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated with just the right amount of sauce. Don't skip the house sauces either; they elevate every dish. The restaurant itself is modern, clean, and welcoming. Even during busy lunch and dinner hours, the staff does a great job keeping things moving and maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Service has always been attentive without feeling rushed. A few tips for first-time visitors: * Expect a wait during peak lunch and dinner times, especially on weekends. * The garlic noodles are absolutely worth adding to your order. * If you're dining with a group, order several appetizers to share. * Parking can get busy, but turnover is usually quick. Overall, Sup Noodle Bar delivers excellent food, generous portions, and consistently great service. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of pho, flavorful garlic noodles, or simply looking for a reliable restaurant in Irvine, this place is well worth the visit. I'll definitely be coming back.

Well, I guess it was bound to happen. While my food adventures in OC have largely been successful,…read moreit was inevitable that I'd end up coming across a place that so many folks like that just didn't hit the mark for me. However, I never would've thought that place was going to be Siam Station. After hearing good things about their spot in Cupertino/the Bay Area from several friends, it felt rather fortuitous when we randomly came across their original location - and with no line in sight! Inside, they've got a cozy sort of vibe and it's cool how they have some outdoor tables set-up as well. As for the menu, it didn't seem all that extensive at a glance, but it has all of the staples you'd expect to find among their appetizers, soups, salads, fried rice, stir fried noodles, noodle soups, curry dishes, entrees, and desserts. -- ZESTY WINGS - Deep Fried Chicken Wings Topped with Crispy Basil and Served with Chili Sauce Easily our favorite dish of the night. The wings were really crispy on the outside and oh so juicy on the inside. Even though there wasn't much of the sauce, which was flavorful but not that spicy, it was fine - the wings were still great without it. -- KHAO SOI with Chicken - Yellow Curry Broth with Egg Noodles and Chicken and Served with Red Onions, Lime, and Pickles Ehh...this was okay, I guess. On the plus side, the chicken was tender and I thought the broth was pretty good - not the best I've had, but better than most. That said, I didn't love the egg noodles, especially the crispy ones after they had soaked up the broth. -- PAD KEE MOW (Drunken Noodles) with Crispy Pork - Flat Rice Noodles Stir Fried with Spicy Basil Garlic Sauce, Bell Peppers, Tomato, Sweet Onion, and Thai Basil I was super excited for this, but it was disappointing. The first thing we noticed was how pale it was and, sadly, the taste matched. Whether it be their garlic sauce or some chilis, this needed more. As for the pork, it was definitely crispy, but a few pieces bordered on dry/burnt. -- MANGO STICKY RICE A little hit, a little miss. The mango was fine (decently sweet, soft), but the sticky rice left us a little wanting. Mainly, I didn't love the glob of coconut cream, was it was pretty thick and viscous, which gave the rice a weird texture/coating to it. As far as service goes, it was uneventfully good. Although there was one point where it was hard to hail someone, it was mostly because the restaurant got increasingly busy and one of the servers was trying to help a group sort something out with their order. Otherwise, our food came out relatively quick and the workers were rather efficient with everything. Despite how we left feeling bummed out by our experience, it had more to do with being underwhelmed than the food actually being "bad". Admittedly, we came in with high hopes/expectations from all of the hype we had heard and it probably didn't help that we had gone to Manaao the night before, which is one of my favorite Thai restaurants anywhere. What's more, I wonder if we just didn't get the best that Siam Station has to offer. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to coming back to find out (and potentially writing an update), but perhaps I'll just try my luck at their spot in Cupertino that my friends like so much.

What makes them so unique is their perfect balance between Asian flavors and Italian classics. Everything I have tasted here has been delicious and has exceeded my expectations. Something I appreciate, besides the aesthetic interior, is their unique selection of dishes ranging from innovative pizzas, creamy and original pastas, and bright, flavorful appetizers. Here are a couple of items that I want to shout out: First, the truffle honey bread. I really appreciated the crispiness of the cheese on top and the bounciness of the fluffy bread paired with the sweetness of the honey. It creates a very balanced bite that keeps you wanting more. The raw salmon appetizer was a huge hit with our table. The citrus paired very well with the salmon itself, and even though this is a common appetizer at many fusion restaurants, they really do it right. The beef carpaccio was a great fusion dish and a wonderful nod to the Asian flavors that inspired them. This is a dish I have ordered multiple times, and it always hits the spot. Out of all the pizzas, I enjoyed the mala lamb the most. It actually was not too spicy, with a nice peppery flavor. Sometimes lamb can be a bit overpowering; however, when topped with the mala honey, everything balanced out perfectly. I also want to note that I have never seen this flavor combination anywhere else, and I think it is definitely something you need to try if you are here. The short rib gnocchi was another favorite of mine. The gnocchi was fluffy and cloud-like and paired really well with the umami-rich, savory flavor of the short rib. The meat itself was very tender and pulled apart easily, making every bite delicious. There are other dishes I could mention, but I do want to shout out the scallop risotto. This one definitely surprised me, as I am not usually a big risotto eater. I appreciated the creaminess of the rice mixed with the scallop, and even though it was a cream-based dish, it did not feel heavy at all. The service was very friendly, and everything came out in a timely manner, which I especially appreciated considering we had a big group. Overall, I will always try to find a reason to come back here, as this place really does take the cake for me when it comes to Kei concept restaurants.

I'll be real, this spot wasn't in the plans for my girlfriend's birthday but schedules changed and…read moreso plans had to chance. Spent a good amount of time browsing Yelp and OpenTable to find a new spot to end the night. Came across TEN on yelp and I'm glad I found this spot. I made a reservation and was a little late due to a previous plan that ended a little later than expected. They sat us right away regardless and the owner greeted us. I asked Brian what his choice of drink is and the crazy thing is I scanned the menu and this drink caught my eye, which he then recommended as his go to, the Yuz it or Lose it. My girlfriend had the Lychee Rose. Started with the Chicken Gyoza and Japanese Nachos for appetizers and ordered the BG roll and Keoni roll. Throughout the night Brian would stop by and made conversation with us a couple times, super attentive and super friendly! At the end of the night Brian brought out a surprise Melted Chocolate Cake with Ice cream and chocolate drizzle & whipped cream on the side, along with what tasted like two shots that tasted like melon? I'm not sure but they were a 5/5! There is a good amount of seating inside and outside. The mix they had playing through the restaurant was absolute fire and it isn't too loud either, you can still hold a conversation without having to raise your voice. They have a parking structure and you'll receive a parking ticket which TEN validates. Yuz it or Lose it: 5/5 A very refreshing and balanced drink. Lychee Rose: 5/5 On the sweeter side but still balanced and the lychee garnish is a nice touch to end the drink Japanese Nachos: 5/5 I literally had to fight the urge to not share these with my girlfriend they're a party in your mouth. (We subbed the spicy tuna for regular tuna) Chicken Gyoza: 5/5 I'm normally a pork gyoza type of person but these were great, nice and juicy and whatever sauce they have at the bottom of the dish was bomb. I literally poured that sauce into my dipping cup instead of the soy sauce that is available BG Roll: 5/5 This roll is tasty and very fresh since there are no cooked items in/on it and the jalapeños on top are a nice touch as well, especially with a little of that sauce from the Chicken Gyoza dish Keoni Roll: 5/5 The eel sauce is a nice touch to this roll along with the jalapeño sauce that they spread on the plate. Shoutout to Brian again! You've earned repeat customers! We will be back
