Very poor service. I made an online reservation for a 30-minute eye makeup appointment. When I arrived, no one was at the front, and I had to go find an employee myself to let them know about my appointment. About five minutes later, the artist finally showed up. I showed her a picture of the eye makeup look I wanted, but the result was a complete failure. She clearly does not know how to do makeup properly. After 20 minutes, I canceled my appointment and removed the makeup she had applied. I ended up buying a few items, and the cashier asked if I had received my service. I told her no, and asked if the makeup artist was new. She said yes. So why is someone without experience placed in that position? To make matters worse, no manager came to apologize for the waste of my time. Very disappointing experience. read more

I recently went to this location in Sephora before a wedding. Originally I was just going to purchase some items but I was able to get an appointment with Ashley H. to do my make up. We did a 30 minute make up session as well as the perk face service this really helped getting ready for the wedding and made it so much easier, during the whole time, Ashley wanted to make sure I was very happy with the progress, and it really involved me with the process which I appreciate it so much. She was fun and very easy to talk to. My face was glowing and my make up looked amazing and I got a lot of compliments at the wedding next time I am in Broomfield I definitely will be coming back at least for the face perk service. read more

Arrived at noonish on a Monday. Not a whole lot of activity today. They were staffed in all the correct areas (greeter, on the floor and a cashier) Today I was looking for Briogeo scalp scrub. I felt it was pretty efficient the going in and going out. The employees were able to help point me in the direction I needed to be and were pretty knowledgeable about the product. I was even able to pick up my birthday gift monthsss later. Yay! It's clean, organized and yes even feels sterilized here. They sanitize the register in between purchases. For added measure they have plexiglass between you and the cashier. Masks are required here No folks, no samples no testers, no on-site classes or mini makeovers I sure miss those :) but it's another pleasant visit to the sephora. No curbside pickup at this location. But looks like they're testing this service at other locations. read more

Service was great from most employees, but this female in particular Cynthia was rude over the phone to another customer and then while my family and I were all ready to purchase our stuff she brought another female up to the register and rung her up first and then proceeded to be rude to us throwing our stuff in the bag and her attitude was absolutely nasty. Playing with makeup all day sounds fun but most of the employees here do not seem to enjoy their line of work. My friend and I had make-up applications booked and called ahead because we were running 15 late....we should have just cancelled. The artist working on my friend made multiple comments to us that because we were late she couldn't do my friends eyes.. or her lips. Huh? It doesn't take 45 minutes to apply foundation. She only filled in my friends brows when I insisted it would look nice. It was just a really sad experience. I had booked the appointments because my friend is shy about makeup and was excited to try new things and the artist treated her like she was being inconvenienced. My artist took some time warming up to us, and I'm glad she did, because if she hadn't it would have been such a bummer. She did a lovely job but the lasting impression will be the overall reception we received. I read some of the Google reviews earlier and the week, they were mostly negative, I thought "no way, they're probably just over sensitive shoppers." Nope! Wow. Ok, so I placed a pickup order 2 hours ago..ok cool. I go in store to "pick up" my pay online "pick up in store order", they didn't have it ready. Ok, no problem one of the employees presumed to "pick it". Assuming she will simply pick "picked up" since it was paid for and this mall is deserted she has me hold all my items and then check out by the register even though I paid. Of course, I ask "im already charged from pay online and pick up in store", she goes to tell me she will just "cancel" it..huh? Make that make sense. Anyway on to the register I'm trying to give 2 male employees my rouge ID on my mobile he goes to tell me I'm " insider" LOL so I said "no I'm rouge that's why I was preparing to pull up my membership ID on my phone"..they process it as insider so I'm paying an additional $60-70 bucks and my account was already tied up from my "canceled online" pick up order. At this point I just tell them cancel everything and refund me since I have TWO $200 charges and they were about to process a 3rd to put my rouge discount in when they didn't listen the first time. Ridiculous! So after my account clears over $400 I will give my business to online instead of trying to support a store like this. What a mess. read more

Terrible customer service. I was on a mission to find a new foundation. Eventually an employee asked if I needed help and I said I'm looking for a new foundation and need help finding a color. The employee called another employee to "help" me. A male employee came over and asked about my skin type as I explained he pointed to the closest foundation (Cover FX, which happened to be right behind me) and asked if the 40 dollar price point was ok. I responded with "ehh I would be more ok with that price if it had an SPF in it." He then grabbed the foundation and proceeded to apply two foundations on my neck. Which I was not prepared for. He said I the second matches better and grabbed that foundation and said "here!" I then asked for a sample because I wasn't ready to spend 40 dollars on something I said I wasn't sure on. I've never had that awful of service before. I honestly was depressed as I walked out of the store. I was in need of a new foundation and to get treated like I'm not worth the employees time and that my money doesn't matter is a terrible feeling. Granted, it was a Saturday but they had plenty of employees just wondering around. After this experience I decided to go to the next closest Sephora, which happens to be in JCP at The Orchard. The employees ACTUALLY gave a shit and helped me! They gave me advice, listened, and helped me find a new foundation that matched my skin tone. read more

I don't buy from any other beauty source. I always go to this one, but the Park Meadows one is nice... If you don't mind the Stepford mall. Please give Sephora all of your money. Sephora is any girl's (or some guys') dream come true. Whenever I come up to the Flatirons area, I have to come into this store. So many brands and cosmetics and colors to try. Urban Decay, Lorac, Chanel, Dior, etc. One of my favorite sections is the line from Kat (LA INK). I forget the name of it, but she has some amazing, deep eye and lip colors. This ain't Walmart so you're paying for quality. There are a big range of prices here though. All over the store, they supply customers with free swabs and brushes to try on the cosmetics, and they also have make-up remover, water, and anti-bacterial hand soap to wash everything off. I never put the free testers on my face here because who knows who else has been dipping their nasty little hands in the make-up and getting their pink eye all over it? What I do is just rub certain colors on my hand to see what it would look like on my skin tone. Oh, but how I want to put on that make-up (damn my common sense and understanding of germs and disease!) There's always a lot of employees walking around here, and they always ask if you need help with something. In my opinion, there should be less staff here, but whatever. However, the staff doesn't bother you as much as when you're in a department store, and you can test every cosmetic out on yourself. Besides all the make-up, there's also lots of skincare for keeping your skin fresh, and lots of scents to hide your natural stink. I always have to spray on one (or two, or five) different perfumes without getting dirty looks from the cosmetics consultants in department stores. Sephora is a must see when you're at Flatiron, for both women and men (yes, some men DO wear make-up). read more

Even though I recently visited the Park Meadows location I usually spend my dough here. This place makes me feel like I am on drugs. Good drugs. If you know what I mean. I like make-up. I like lotions. I like perfume. I like beauty tools. AND I am usually cheap. Unless it's a stellar color or unique product I can easily handle the $6-8 eyeliner rather that the $12-$18 eyeliner. Or the $10 lip gloss rather than having my husband faint when I tell him I bought the $25 dollar tube of lip gloss that looks like most of the other ones I have. Sephora has both kinds the fainting ones and the easy on the pocketbook ones. Yay! I also love that all the prices are right out in the open for you to see. The thing about this particular Sephora is that you should only go during the week when nobody is at the mall. If you go at that time, the salespeople are super friendly, very knowledgeable, and willing to answer all your questions. They'll do the initial "approach new customer in store, ascertain if they came in for something specific, let customer know of their availability for questions" and then will just leave you the heck alone-if you want. They'll also recommend new products, etc etc during the week. The weekend, however, is a totally different story. The weekend means you can walk into and out of the store without ever being acknowledged, even when a Sephora salesperson walks right by you. The weekend means that if you dare to ask someone for help, they'll have the attitude of, "Oh God, I'm so busy but I have to help this person with this inane question of choosing a foundation shade...*sigh* guess I'd better do it". All that to say, they'll help you, but you might feel like a douchebag for asking them for it. It's obvious the weekend is their most insane time, so don't go if you have questions. read more

This is my one stop shop for all things beautiful and nice. If I don't shop at Sephora stores then Sephora online it is. They have a huge selection of beauty and grooming products that actually work. Check Sephora online for reviews on products and go get a sample or try it out at sephora store. It does not carry the drugstore brands so it does not have the drugstore prices, but honestly its not very expensive for the quality of the products. read more

I had a great experience at this location. It was my first time at this mall, and I couldn't find the store. I called them, and the person who picked up couldn't have been more helpful. They guided me through the mall until I could find the store. Then, when I arrived, someone immediately approached me and asked how they could help me. I was there to pick up an online order, and they helped me right away. It was easy. Everyone was super helpful and kind. I had a unsightly blemish while traveling to Colorado. I left my awesome blemish control by Bare Essentials at home.. and I had to control it before it got out of control. I called Macy's and Nordstrom to see if they had a BE counter... I was seriously let down when they said no. I don't know how I remembered Sephora, but I called them from my hotel, only a block away.. and they said they have a full line of BE. MY SAVIOR! I'm thinking of adding a "Sephora" item to my monthly budget. I LOVE this place. They fulfill (almost) my every beauty need. This location is a little smaller than I'd like, but they do carry most everything I need. I went in the other day to buy shampoo though, only to find that's there's not really a hair care section anymore. I was hoping for Bumble and Bumble products, or at least Fekkai, but no dice. They do have a nice selection of hair care appliances though. Even without the shampoo, Sephora is incredible. As long as they keep stocking Dior mascara, DDF skincare products, and Sephora brand eye makeup and body wash, I'll be here at least monthly. They need a discount program. read more

I want to love this location, but each time i go there they are out of at LEAST one thing I need. I went in today to purchase clinique high impact mascara (in black brown) and they were out... again. I overheard someone who was looking for the same product ask when they get thier shipments and the associate said on mondays, but that they never know what they're going to receive (?). I found that to be a little odd. Luckily there are several other stores in the mall that sell what I'm looking for. I've been here multiple times to buy nail polish. They have a fairly decent selection. I purchased a base coat that was entirely empty. It was supposed to be clear so I didn't notice until it had been opened. When I returned it, the supervisor that the cashier called suspected me of dumping out the nail polish and meticulously cleaning the entire bottle to get a new one. She rubbed the inside of the jar with a q-tip for minutes. She got accusatory and asked me, "If this was always empty how come there's product on the applicator?" It was stick straight and the bristles were glued together. I work in retail and I would never ever be allowed to accuse someone of being deceptive when the quality of the stores merchandise is in question. If a return item looks dysfunctional and the alternative explanation is preposterous than you shouldn't be rude. I was offended and even though I argued my way into getting my dysfunctional product replaced I will not be coming back. I can buy real O.P.I elsewhere. read more

I would go with one star but I love the makeup. I've never had a good experience at this store. The staff is very rude. My daughter tried to return a product purchased at another sephora and they would only give her 50% of the refund because it was purchased at jc penny sephora. We decided to take it back to the original store at orchard crossing and the staff was absolutely phenomenal. They helped us find additional products and gave a full refund on the return. If it wasn't for the fabulous and friendly staff at orchard crossing I would have became an ulta customer. read more

I went in here today looking for a new foundation. Carrie, one of the makeup artists, was so helpful! She matched my skin tone with their fancy machine and helped me find the perfect foundation. Then she sampled it on my skin and ended up giving me a full face of makeup. She asked if she could put it on my jawline before applying it which was nice because I hate when they just start putting makeup on me without warning. I love Sephora! However, this one in particular doesn't get the five star review. They never have anything restocked when I come in to buy necessary products that I wear on a day to day basis, or products that I may want to treat myself with. It's been a few months and they are still out of certain eyeshadow palettes and eyebrow products. The customer service would be about an 8 out of 10. Whenever I go to check out they are always so sweet and fun! But when I walk around the store all I get is blank stares or "do you want a basket" in a very monotone voice. I went into Sephora looking for lip color and left with the perfect product. When a salesperson approached me I told her that I wanted something dark, earthy, and long-wearing. Instantly she guided me to a Kat Von D liquid lipstick, explained the benefits, and helped me choose a color. I have had a couple of bad retail experiences lately, but this was NOT one of them. I am older than the average clientele here, and when I walked in and saw the makeup on all of the staff, I was concerned that if I asked for help that they would try to overwhelm me with product that I did not want. The young man (Leighton) that helped me, really listened to what I was looking for, and the look that I was trying to achieve. I have no patience for shopping, so having him suggest and demonstrate the products that he thought would give me what I was looking for was fantastic. I was probably in and out of there in 10 minutes. The items I bought were pricier than my usual makeup purchases, but I can now throw out all of the stuff that I ended up not using because it wasn't quite right. read more

This is a smaller location, so they don't have all the things normally found at Sephora. I bumped a star off for that. Otherwise, I usually always have good service here. A couple of times the employees were a little snotty, but everyone is entitled to a bad day. The only reason I'm writing this review is because I had such an amazing experience the other day. I spend a lot of money here and no one has ever really explained the points system before. I came in to RETURN something I didn't like. The cashier made some pleasant conversation. I was asking about the gifts, points, etc. She went into detail explaining everything to me. I've been wanting to try the Ole Hendrickson line and they had a gift for 500 points. I had 400 and something points. She explained I could get the gift and just be minus some points!!!! To sum up, I was treated respectfully even though I was returning something, I was given valuable info AND I walked out with a gift set from a line I've been wanting to try. I'm so bummed I didn't get her name, but this knows what customer service is! Because of her, I know that I'm only $100 away from the next level of membership, I know how points work and I'll definitely be back soon to spend more money. Also, because good service is so rare these days, I left with a smile on my face and a spring in my step! I absolutely love this location. It is so much better than the one in Cherry Creek. The women who work at this location actually wear makeup to hide signs of aging and create a youthful look. The women at Cherry Creek just don't ever look like they need makeup (and they're kind of snobby). I have never had a problem with a salesperson not acknowledging me, and I've been here weekdays and weekends. I like to change up my look every few months, so I love the consultations they do and the ability to sample a new line of makeup and moisturizers. I do think the store is super cold compared to the rest of the mall, which is kind of a deterrent to the kind of browsing and sampling I'd like to do, but I understand we can't have all the makeup melting. Other than the temp, I LOVE this place, LOVE the sales, and LOVE the people who help me find what I need. read more

She was extremely helpful and was able to get me with an associate within 5-10 minutes. Not only was the makeup associate very helpful he gave me multiple options. Saphora is a great beauty shop for makeup! When I'm in the mood up vamp up my routine I love coming here to try on different eyeliners and lipsticks. The only time I've been disappointed with a purchase is from their own line. I bought the powder foundation and matching spot coverup (recommended to me by a sales associate) but both of them resulted in clogging my pores and giving me extra pimples, for an otherwise clear-skinned person. I like Saphora and most of the time I'm happy with what I get, but I would recommend don't buy the Saphora brand products. read more
