If I could give zero star I would. We went there to get a specific item and ask for assistance. The lady said she will help us in a few minutes but we waited for like half an hour then the lady came back just to say she has another client and be right back with us, as soon as she can. Im writing this review in regards to a Sephora employee named Joeenee. I went in to sephora with a coworker trying to help her pick out a couple products, Joeenee was rude and dismissive and didn't bat an eyelash in our direction. We were both curious about the same product so we decided to sample it, the woman who made my sample was kind and lovely but when my coworker asked joeenee for a sample she refused saying and i quote "your friend already got a sample of this" in a very rude tone. it felt like she was accusing us of trying to swindle her out of a couple stupid samples. It struck me as incredibly unprofessional and tacky and it showed her lack of experience and customer service, especially since i know her behavior is against Sephora's company policies and i haven't had an experience like that with any other Sephora employee. read more

I usually dont write reviews for retail stores -- HOWEVER. i mer Selena today and omggg nicest most helpful employee I've ever met . She took the time to describe products and recommended products that would work for my skin type . She even explained how i would use the products I purchased. Didnt feel like i was being rushed or like i was being a bother , she definitely made me feel understood. Anyways, loved her and so excited to try out the skin care products she recommended. I'll give you 2 stars for products. Your employees are either trained poorly or just don't understand customer service. Firstly to be open you are not allowed to have products that could be mistaken as testers available to the public...out for display only..smh. Secondly I was searching for a product and your employees were obliviously standing around and in the way...not to help but, just in the way carrying on personal conversations. Third I asked one employee for a particular location of a brand of perfume, perfume to my knowledge references female fragrances. She then proceeds to ask me for male or female. She condescendingly points me to the incorrect location. At this point I would rather be left alone to look rather than be helped. So another emp asks me if she could help again perfume, asks male or female. Look, train them to ask,"are you looking for yourself?" I'll give it to the second employee she got exactly what I wanted, so thank you. The cashier ..... if you train your employees to be condescending and pompous I'll just buy on line elsewhere. Brick and mortar stores need customers to go there if you treat people poorly they'll shop on line or elsewhere. Facilitate the need for the store by making customers feel good when they are there. read more

I shopped here a few times with Natasha but when they told me she no longer worked there, I was unable to find someone else there committed to customer care as she was. I like this location, I was immediately greeted upon arrival.. I think they saw my confusion and lost look on my face so Meisha came and helped me look for the liquid liner I wanted and still gave me other options similar to the one I like. She also found me looking for concealer and definitely helped me find that too. I would absolutely go back just for Meisha's help! And the person who rang me up, Carlin was very nice and helpful as well! Definitely make a trip to this location, especially if you're not make up savvy like me, lol. read more

I needed to change my online order and I decided to go in 10 minutes before they closed. To make matters worse I was asking for a product that wasn't on their website. Instead of asking me to leave, Gianna spent 15 minutes trying to order the product and even gave me other options. She was nice enough to give me samples and sent me away with a smile. This is the best Sephora around. They are always well staffed so I feel like they really take their time with me and all my questions. Today Monica helped me and she was such a pleasure! Very knowledgeable and never made me feel bad for asking questions or for samples. You can tell she has things that are important to her but never pushed them on me. The girls here are so nice! I wanted to try a new foundation so I asked to be matched. Even though they were very busy one of the girls (I forgot her name) stopped to help me find my right shade. The guy that works the front door was super cool as well and kept my boyfriend entertained lol. I frequent Sephora and always appreciate when the artists take their time to help you. I love that all staffs are wearing masks and getting into the guidelines on how many people are into the store in the last 2 visits I was at this store. Although they told us the guidelines before coming in the store. Also they gave my mother and I hand sanitizers before heading inside. Their customers service gotten better than last time and I love how they keep their social distancing. They told us what was on sale, etc. Which is a plus. The reason I gave a 3 stars is because of the display of makeup testers when it is not allowed to be used as testers. Although you guys do a fantastic job and that there were far less talking. I have gone here 3 times now and receive the same mediocre customer service, which is not the norm based on experiences at other Sephora stores in the past. I walk in and there are several associates at the front of the store and maybe 1 makes eye contact to greet me. They are too busy talking to one another to even ask if I need help. As I walk through the store there are no associates to be found mid-way or in the back of the store. I see customers but no associates, they are all in the front talking. This last time, I found one and asked a question, she handed me the tester I was looking for in a new foundation and just walked away. She didn't ask if I needed help finding the right color. I left with out purchasing close to $100 worth of makeup. Please provide more customer service training. read more

Horrible, horrible experience with a cashier. She was asian with a bland face and some basic makeup on, don't remember her name. I came up for a simple return and when it couldn't go through, she gave me the dirtiest look up and down and then didn't even attempt to look for the receipt in my account. I tried to be friendly and told her to have a good day, but she continued to stare at me with some type of disdain. My sister was next, and when she made her return, it was the same deal. She made the entire transaction without even looking once at my sister, and then THREW the store credit on the table in front of her. I love this Sephora! It's close to my job and not only that the girls here are super sweet and informative! Rocio was so sweet and gave me any samples I asked for and labeled everything for me. Bri checked me out and was very sweet letting me know what points I have and also let me know the hair product I purchased was great (which it was) the second time I came here was today and another associate named Gianna helped me and greeted me and remembered me from the last time I was in which was so nice to feel remembered! I loved her lip combo and she showed me all the products she used and she also walked me over to the skincare items I wanted and gave me some helpful info on the product as well. I had a great experience at this location, specifically with Janessa. I'd tried to book an appointment for a specific time and day to see a makeup specialist for family photos but no one was available so I opted to just show up and ask for help and tips on how to do it myself. Well I lucked out because Janessa helped me. She wasn't trying to upsell me on anything (I thought i wanted a eye shadow palette and she showed me how i could use one eye shadow and my bronzer to create the natural look i wanted.) And spent an hour with me, showing me not only what products would look great but HOW to put them on. In this small amount of time I learned more about doing my makeup with Janessa than i have in the multiple makeup appointments i've had at other sephora locations. So thank you Janessa, our photos turned out beautiful and I'm using your makeup tips every day! (Actually lets be real, i'm a mom of two small boys so I rarely wear make up. Had a very bad experience here. Me and my girlfriend went here after having a dinner date at the mall and wanted to check out this sephora. We went in around 8:15 and started looking around at the different make and cologne/ perfume they had. We said hi to the employees and smiled and even asked for help looking for something. Once we decided on what to get we saw at the front door that the concord police were in the building and was thinking something happen and only to find out they were there for us and approached us asking how we were doing and if we were buying make up and what kind and if we shop for make up a lot and then told us that they were directed to us by the employees. Me and my girlfriend stood there shocked when he said that. I asked the police officer that the employees called you cause of us and they said yes and they were just worried and curious cause you two were in here for awhile. Me and my girlfriend looked at our phones and saw we only been in here for 30-35 mins. They said it's no big deal and said have a good night. I was mad as hell and went up to the counter and bought some lashes for my gf and did this so they can see how much point we have cause we have 6,000+ and shop at Sephora a lot and made a remark saying "as you can see we shop at Sephora a lot and have no reason to steal" I questioned the lady helping me up front why would they call the cops? What did we do to make you call the cops I'm curious. She replied "Idk did you see me on the floor" I asked for a manager 3 times only to find out the manager was right next to the cashier I was talking to and hadn't said anything when I asked for a manager 3x until she was pointed out by the cashier. I asked the manager the same question why thy call the cops? What did we do? And the only repose was "oh we didn't call the cops, veranda did (veranda is the outlet areas where Sephora is located) and we been hit by a lot of couples" so the only reason they had was cause they profiled us as couples cause they been hit by couples?? I would think they would have diversity training and profiling training and not profile people and call the cops. read more

Terrible experience! My daughter and I decide to go into the store after dinner. We were looking around just checking out the makeup she's s senior in high so getting makeup is something we had been wanting to do. But oh boy this simple trip was turned into a very uncomfortable visit. We were trying on lip gloss mind you all with no assistance from any of the employees. So check this ! All of the ladies had those ear pieces on , so I'm assuming they were speaking about us because I notice they kept looking but not saying anything to us so one of the ladies make the mistake of speaking too loudly . As she was pretending to search for something in the drawer she said "girl I'm right here watching"! I was so shocked I looked at my daughter and she looked at me . I said what did she just say we both looked at her in disbelief. We continued looking at the lipglosses still asking each other if we were tripping. Once she realized we knew she sent to watch us she quickly walked away which confirmed what we knew we heard. Note: we were the only black Americans in the store there was about 6 other people in the store and they were being tended to, while at least three ladies were watching us . I told my daughter they will not get a dime of our money let's go. As we were leaving and once they knew we knew what they were up to and once they knew we wanted to spend money they wanted to tend to us. I politely said while pointing to the young lady that was sent to spy us, "she has made this the most uncomfortable shopping experience of my life and I will not be spending my money here and I'm sure she was only doing what she was instructed". Came in to try a new foundation as i was so excited for the new Sephora to open closer to my home. I asked for a color match to try a new foundation and the lady said it will be a moment, waited until she came back about 5 minutes (stood up the whole time when seats were available at the mirror) she said that she will take 3 pictures of my neck and told me to punch this code into the iPad and then told me to let her know what foundation i wanted to try and left. Never explained the process or what she was doing. Totally caught me off guard and once she left me at the iPad i left. I am a rouge member and spend tons of money at Sephora but couldn't believe the service i received. Its like i was a inconvenience to her since she was wanting to talk to the other lady working at the door. Wake up ladies you are in a service job and should be happy to have someone walking in the door and not shopping online like i always do. read more
