    Haircut

    Renee was so amazing! She gave me the best haircut. I was feeling really iffy about what I wanted but she gave me her honest advice because I wanted the butterfly haircut and she did exactly what I wanted. She made me feel confident and after I had a rough day today, her kindness made it better! Thanks Renee and her amazing assistant!

    This is what I got

    Horrible service for customer service, I booked an appointment for a hair service did not get what I asked for asked for a refund and they were the WORST TO HELP! NEVERRRR EVERRR DOING MY HAIR OR GETTING ANY TYPE OF SERVICE HERE! They kept saying we're here to help! we're here to help! they truly made me feel so unheard and I had been asking for my refund since Jan it's now May and I got no resolution!

    Horrible haircut

    I went to get a TRIM on 2-8-25. I explained to the "stylist" LILY that I only wanted 3 inches taken off. I told her I had been growing my hair since 2019 and I needed to be able to put it in a bun for work (I am in the army). She then proceeded to take off 6 inches! Not only did she take off more than I asked her to, she absolutely botched my hair. As you can see, the left of my hair is CLEARLY longer than the right side. I brought that up to her multiple times and she brushed it off. And if you look The back she cut about a 2 inch notch out of the right side and the sloped the hair down to the left rendering the left longer than the right. What really pisses me off is when I first sat in her chair I asked "how much do I need to take off for it to be healthy?" Her response "7-8 inches" I said "I'm not ready to cut THAT much yet"...so why the hell did she remove 6 inches after I told her 3??? Her botched job had me go back the next day where Zephry (she was amazing and she is the reason I gave the 4 stars) had to take that short piece and cut EVEN MORE. I came in there with 23 inches of hair today on 2-11-25 I'm sitting around 12/13 inches. I 100% believe that LILY botched my hair in order to get her way. She was adamant about cutting 7-8 inches off even though I only asked for 3. She essentially forced me to do something I didn't want to do and had said "no" to MULTIPLE times. What else does that sound like? When you say "no" and the other person forces you to do something? Fucking shameful for that "stylist" to disregard a clients wishes, brush off the fact that issues are noticed and being spoken on, and to essentially go rogue and intentionally give me a bad haircut. If you get your hair cut here STAY OUT OF LILYS CHAIR Now let's move on to the girl who fixed the shitty job I left the store in tears over. ZEPHYR seen the mess and agreed it was a terrible cut. She apologized and said that she had to match the length to the notch. She constantly asked for my opinion and when I pointed out what I was seeing she took her time to try to see what I was seeing and if she was able to see it she tried her best to fix it without taking off more than she had to. When we had issues with the front (forgot to mention that LILI blunt cut the front when I asked her to blend it to the length so it all looks uniform) I asked if using texturizing scissors would help. Turns out they did and we were able to achieve the look i needed. ZEPHYR really was amazing with how attentive she is, how understanding she was when I explained one of the reasons why I didn't want to cut my hair, and she was very easy to work with. She is the sole reason I would ever consider returning to this salon. Although I was upset over how much more needed to be it off, I didn't leave the salon in a hurry with tears running down my face like I did after being in LILYs chair.

    Went in and got amazing customer service. I got color matched and recommended products I was interested in. I felt heard which was nice. I then went to go checkout, my total was $97 and I had a $50 gift card I just received for my birthday. The gal scratches for the PIN number and enters into the system. Not working and tries 4 more times with no results. She calls for her manager to come over, as she does the same exact thing. Zero help to solve this issue. I have the receipt of proof of purchase of the $50 gift card. She tells me to call customer service since she can't do anything. I'm very frustrated at this point, as I was excited to have foundation for my birthday lunch. The manager doesn't solve the problem, leaves to help another customer. I leave buying nothing and feel there should and could of been a way to handle this situation..

However, there's this short Asian lady with another (maybe Hispanic) both employees who seemed to be following me and my friend around. They stood by next to every aisle where my friend and I go. They also looked away every time I catch them looking at us. Santa Rosa is my go to location because I'm from Sonoma County but I have never felt treated that way from the employees there even when I'm not dressed nice. Lastly, I could be wrong, but what are the odds of my credit card declining because I literally used it just few hours before that. I called Chase right after the store visit and they said they didn't have any transactions from Sephora. Now walking in they had their greeter as with most locations greet us but there was a shortage of employees in the early morning. We had to wait for one lady who was helping customers.
