Went to look around at this particular sephora today and literally got helped by nobody. I didn't get one single "Hello", I went in specifically for Kat Von D's Vampira and had to open the bottom drawer myself to get it since the top wasnt stocked up anymore. I noticed the ladies working there were too busy taking personal phone calls because at the register the girl goes "Hold on babe I have a customer" and put the phone down to check me out. Went in on December 23rd, after 15 minutes of looking for a parking space, my bad because it was the 23rd after all. I was looking for a Tocca perfume, I asked the sales girl for help to locate, which she did with a most pleasant attitude. Found my perfume, proceeded up to pay, sales clerk was just as helpful and really pleasant and cheerful. I was able to look up my membership number and had my purchases wrapped,which they offered, so, as I was exiting, the sensor went off at the door, a manager type offered to help, walked my bag back to gift wrap/check out area and cleared up the issue, wow! The only place where I can get like 95% of the makeup I use. I've never gotten my makeup done here so I should try that out sometime. Maybe I don't have a problem here because I usually already know what I'm getting/what I want. The times that I have asked for help they were really cool and recommended a great eyeliner that I still use and when I asked for help with foundation they found a perfect match and recommended a clinique one that I also still use. I think it's funny when people complain about the price and yet don't realize that a lot of these products (clinique, dior, etc) have regulated prices that don't change whether you buy them from here, macys, or the brands website. read more

I have been a Sephora customer for years and years , I've always had a great experience with ordering online and the Riverpark location today I decided to go into the Shaw location because I was doing some other shopping and I new exactly what I was picking up at Sephora the fresh lip balm and hydrating caramel balm. I purchased one item ( mind you it was an 18 dollar lip balm ) the cashier (Gabe first off was not very friendly he had an attitude like he had been there all day and wanted to leave. The only words he really said to me was if I was a beauty insider he asked for my number and then seemed annoyed that I asked for a beauty insider reward mascara. I walked out trusting that my ONE purchased item was wrapped in my bag I made my way to my car got inside and began to drive off when I decided to look in my Sephora bag to try the lip balm as I was waiting in traffic when it was not in my bag all that was in there was the beauty insider reward I had to turn around deal with the hassle off finding parking ( again ) walk into the store will all my bags and try to get an associates attention to let them know the situation. Sure enough she approached the cashier Gabe to ask about the lip balm and there it was sitting on top of his register !!! How does that even happen when all I purchased was one item ? And perks reward ,are you that careless ? The "manager gave me my item didn't offer any type of discount or at least a reward for the inconvenience. She could care less or could not be bothered when I asked she tried to be condescending and asked if u wanted a makeover ? Are you trying to be smart and say that I need a makeover to add on to how pissed off I was. Horrible customer service. Pretty sad customer care at this location. I asked two store employees for assistance, and both advised that they were in "the middle of something". I then see 5...seriously 5, employees standing in the back of the store gossiping and laughing while one girl worked the register with 9 customers in line waiting to pay. Sephora is my go to store for my makeup...that being said, I've had different experiences here. One day I went in, no make up on, hair in a messy bun and I was COMPLETELY ignored!!!! I still bought my stuff though lol, however next time I went in, I happened to be in full makeup gear, hair on point, cute clothes...and wouldn't got believe...every girl working asked me if I needed help with anything. I love Sephora. They carry all the best lines of make-up and skincare and have great customer service. The employees are always happy to help you out. Sometimes they can be a little annoying but it is nothing that is too bad. If you need help matching a product to your skin they are always willing to help you. Also, they do great make-up for special events. I got my makeup done here for all of my formals and proms and was more than pleased with the results. I shop at the sephora inside Pennys, and I absolutely love this place. I told one of the sales women my skin type, and what I expected from my makeup, and I was not disappointed! She didn't favor one brand over another, but recommended the best brand for what I was looking for. They said that they would help me in a minute after they assisted another customer, but in a degrading tone. It makes me uncomfortable and want to leave and never buy products from there. I have met other people who have had similar issues. Okay so I previously reviewed this sephora and gave it one star but after going back in the other day my mind has been completely changed!! New people? New manager? I don't know but whatever you guys are doing it's working! Fabulous! Since I just renewed VIB Rouge membership I get the makeover services free of charge. I spend a good amount of money here and I buy all these products based on online reviews so why not get my make up done here and see what looks and products I love the best with help from the professionals! Anyways I scheduled my appointment and headed in with no make up, which didn't really bother me. I was paired with Felicia but first another young lady helped me, she was super nice, friendly, and funny. She cleaned and prepped my face, she made sure to tell me exactly what she was using and what it was used for. It was great! After Felicia came over it was all smiles and laughs after that! And her friend that came over and completed my look, also amazing! Super friendly! Super down to earth! And OMG I LOVED MY MAKE UP! It was sooo beautiful! I felt so beautiful! Right when I walked in I was given a rude look by one of the employees, and she insincerely asked if she could help me.. I have been meaning to write a review on the Fresno Sephora for over a month now. I am a big fan of the store concept and love makeup. That being said, I have been totally underwhelmed with the experience at the Fresno Sephora. The customer service is really lacking. A woman named Heather waited on me the last time I was there and she must have been having a terrible day or missed her last 3 breaks, because she was downright surly. I mean, come on, you don't work on Rodeo Drive and your name isn't Karl Lagerfeld. Come down off your elitist cloud. Also, even through it is Fresno and I am sure you do have a bunch of theft I did buy close to 100 dollars worth of product after being helped by a guy who was more helpful than Heather. Sometimes they trail you around the store in a suspicious manner like you are ready to lift anything that isn't nailed down. I've had really good experiences here, but I've also had equally as bad ones. I only come to this one because I get discounts if I buy from this particular Sephora. This last time they ignored me at the counter when I tried explaining my return, and then they ignored me when I had a question about a product I planned on exchanging it for. They were standing together talking and brushing each other with products. I think it just depends on who's there that day, but I think going to the outside Sephora would be better. This review would've for the sephora located outside of fashion fair. I went in for the first time ever, and grabbed a few items, I was ignored at first but Ivan then asked if I was doing okay, I asked for help in finding a foundation and he got me help right away. I got in line and it was a bit busy and long he asked if I was paying cash or card I said "whatever is fastest" and he then took me to someone else with an iPad, which took longer than expected. I am writing my review for the Sephora that is inside Jcpenny. Went here a few days before Christmas with my mother who was looking for a perfume that they were currently sold out of. She was helped by a lovely sales associate named Winter. Winter looked busy with a big binder looking at perfumes perhaps doing inventory? However she took it upon herself to help my mother find a perfume closest to what she was looking for. She asked questions, was attentive and professional. read more

I love the products they sell and I am a VIB rouge member and I love the perks. I wish they improved the service here meaning I can go in there for about 5 minutes and no one will help me. I have to track someone down for a sample or a product, get shade matched, find a product I want to purchase ect. They are not very helpful when they are out of a product they aren't willing to let you know when new shipments or call another store like mac will. This is by far the worst Sephora I have shopped in. I was looking at foundations for over 15 minutes waiting for assistance and no could be bothered. I asked to be matched with the color iq and was given a number for foundations that were 4-5 shades darker than my skin. When I asked an associate if they could help match a foundation to my neck for an upcoming wedding and she gave told me a specific MakeUp ForEver foundation was my perfect match but when I looked in a mirror it was a completely different shade than my neck. I feel as though they were uninterested in helping me because I came into the store wearing no makeup. But I didn't wear any makeup in the hopes of finding a perfect foundation match. I've been a VIB rouge member for many years and primarily do all my shopping online and this store is the reason why I'll continue to just keep shopping online instead of at this location. read more
