TESO Life is a Korean and Japanese lifestyle and convenience store in Koreatown on 32nd Street,…read morespread across two floors. I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.

My order was delayed in shipping (it was shipped 2.5 weeks ago), it still hasn't arrived and it may not arrive at all. Obviously they can't help a shipping delay, but once I asked for them to do something about it they offered to either replace or refund my order (which, btw, was one item and it was $25). I asked them to replace it, and then they emailed me again to say that was a "misunderstanding" and they can't replace it. Their customer service emails are never signed with a name and they read like they're written with AI. Awful, and will never interact directly with the company again.

I swear by their Secret Sauce moisturizer. I started using it when I saw a wrinkle developing across my chin. I never believed anybody who told me a moisture cream delayed wrinkle development but when I saw a diagonal line on my chin I started looking for something to stop it from deepening. Within 2 weeks of using Secret Sauce I could see the wrinkle was lessening. It's gone now - look at my pic and you'll see no diagonal line on my chin! I can believe that Secret Sauce was developed in partnership with plastic surgeons because it works. I use it before bed at night and under my foundation in the morning. It absorbs into my skin and leaves a bit of shine on my skin's surface. I also swear by their Bye Bye Foundation. A dime-sized squirt on the brush covers my entire face and evens out my pale skin and dark freckles. It has a 50+ UVA/UVB sun protection and built in moisturizer so it's good stuff. My face doesn't have caked on make-up and my skin looks polished. I finish it off with a brush dipped with Bye Bye Pores airbrush powder. I now use their No-Tug gel eyeliner and love how it looks and that I don't have to sharpen the point, as I did with the eyeliner I used to use. I also use Your Lips But Better lip liner to color my lips before using their Je Ne Sais Qui lip balm. The color is deeper than my natural lip color so it's good for daywear/work. Yes, sleep, hydration and a healthy diet lend to looking good but my secret to looking good is "it"!

I said No-it was approved twice! I saw it on the terminal.it said Approved. They didn't believe me, then they checked the paper on the credit card machine & empty! No paper. Then? When I asked them to print up my receipt they couldn't figure that out! Duhh- I asked them to do a batch report & my 2 charges showed up. The Asian lady was nice, but the Latina with the brown wavy hair & fake eyelashes was as so rude! First she wanted to take my number & call me later.Uhh no. She kept rolling her eyes at me like I was wrong! They're the ones that charged me 2 times! And wanted to charge me a third time! Then they could not figure how to reprint all the receipts! I told them to hit the reprint button! The Asian lady called her husband & he walked her through the whole process! Sheesh ! Finally they printed the receipts & voided one charge. They wanted me to sign the voided receipt! I said No! You voided this! I don't need to sign a Void receipt!! Come on people! Ridiculous!!! The whole time, the Latina lady was rolling her eyes saying " give her all the receipts because she don't trust! We're gonna be here all day with her" Really rude. This wasn't my fault! Umm I don't trust!! I will never set foot in that place again!!!
