This Sephora has improved A LOT. Sometimes on the weekends there is not enough staff for one on one help, but the staff is great when you ask questions. read more

The store feels dirty and it seems like the employees don't approach you unless you're obviously wearing makeup. Also, the male employee is always rude and insincere to customers. He watches customers browse as if they're doing something wrong and is rude with an attitude when spoken to. Definitely my least favorite Sephora location, I only go when absolutely necessary and even then I help myself. read more

This fake ass non real Sephora store inside JCPennny was the most horrible one I've endured. And I ask myself why I go to my local Sephora where they normally greet me with a welcoming smile! The girls that work here lack customer service they give you this look as if you're a thief when you 1st walk in. I totally dislike places and employees who treat any shopper that way! I first want to start by saying everyone is so helpful here. I didn't know what to do but as soon as I walked up I was greeted by violet. She asked very beneficial questions and was totally awesome at finding what's best for me. She helped me find the best affordable makeup and best for my skin tone. Also the best part was asking her what the brow bar was! If you ever want to get your eyebrows done for the first time I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SEPHORA! Especially violet she's so amazing! this is by far the most disgusting, unorganized sephora. all their products seems OLD and crusty!! so not worth the money spent. the employees are lazy, not informative, and when you ask for a suggestion on which product for your skin type, etc, they just name random products without thinking about it. when I asked for a sample the employee also said that the product is impossible to give samples out to because it has the applicator sponge.... I went to an altar to try a product like that in the employee there gave me a sample perfectly fine. lazy employees!! read more

I went to here after ulta didn't have what I was looking for. I went in for Kat Von D lipstick. After wandering around for 5 min. I finally tracked down one of the girls who were working. I asked for what I was looking for they were out and have been since October. She was helpful in finding something similar . She was helping me for a bit but there were 3 other customers that needed assistance also. I told her go ahead and help them because I planned on purchasing more items I was going I look around. When she came back I had about 4 items in my basket I asked since I am purchasing a large amount would she do my make up using the items I want to be so I am sure I like them . She said she couldn't do a full face so she just put powder on my face as I stood there . I ended up purchasing $160. Worth of make up. She rang me up and then I noticed there was a free gift for your birthday month .. She said oh it didn't come up with my sephora card when is your birthday ... Next week I told her and offered to show her my id . She have gift but the store was empty now and there was two of them she could have offered to show me how to apply all the product I bought. This is the second time I've been to sephora and been diss spooned with there customer service read more

I went into this SiJCP the other day and they made me so mad that I just walked out. I was there looking for a new perfume and I really ended up liking the Marc Jacobs Dot perfume. The plaque below the perfume said 1 oz $48 so that's the one that I took up to the register. When the SA rang it up the price showed $54 and I told her well the display says $48 and she kept saying no you're looking at the wrong one the smaller bottle is $48 you got the bigger one. And I was like no there are only 2 sizes on the shelf and I grabbed the smaller one, the 1 oz bottle. And she kept swearing that there was a .7 oz bottle and I grabbed the bigger, more expensive one. And I was like okay I'm going to go take a picture of the display and show it to you, So she decides to follow me to the display and I was like see 1 OZ $48. And she goes ohh, I'll grab another one and see if it rigs up at $48. So it keeps ringing up at $56 and she asked someone to come help and she's like this customer wants to purchase this perfume and the display says $48 but it's ringing up as $54 so what do I do? The guy then says well you know it's the holidays so people put things in the wrong place so you must have been looking at the wrong price and we can only sell it at the price it rings up as. And I was like okay then I don't want it and walked out. Like first of all both of you can kiss my ass because I was not looking in the wrong section and I'm not a complete moron, but they definitely made me feel like shit with that horrible customer service. It wasn't even an issue of the $6 difference, it was the fact that they continued to tell me I was wrong and that the second employee didn't even check the display after the first employee told him that the display for the specific perfume did actually say $48. I was never given an apology for the "mislabeling" or whatever you would call it. I was basically called an idiot that can't read. read more

I swear idk what this girls think working at sephora means! I think they have the wrong idea of what a beauty advisor is, i walked into the store and I asked for help immediately the girl who "helped " me was so rude , what ever I still went in and asked question and I guess she didn't understood me and looked at me crazy and said well if you do what your asking with this product it's gonna look ugly! And I looked at her and said ok thank u! Walked away and I couldn't seem to find another worker to ask about a perfume so I ran into her again and I said do you think you can help me she said "well help in what" and I said what's the difference between these two perfumes she said there the same thing just different colors, um ok I said and I asked and this is the prize for this size? ( 2 different sizes) she look at me and said " yeah this perfume is expensive you knw , so idk " looking at me funny! Felt like telling her wait I didn't ask u if it was expensive I asked if this was the prize. After that she kept going on with rude ways of trying to make it seem like I couldn't afford it when the only reason I asked was because at Macy's the had the biggest bottle including a gift for 40 bucks more! When she walked away rolling her eyes I didn't seem to understand why she seem so bitter just by the way she talked seems like she didn't want to even be there! Maybe I may be over reacting but I believe when your working on customer service you need to provide the right information with a good attitude. Little do these girls know they are talking to, the thing that actually made me feel better after paying for my stuff and walking out was knowing my worth and not downgrading to this workers level. read more
