They have a great return policy. Most of the workers are sweet and helpful. One time I went in to get my color matched for the Bare Minerals foundation. It seemed like no one wanted to do it. One of the girl's said she would do it., but she didn't seem too happy about it. I was asking her questions about how to apply it, it just seemed like she didn't want to help me. Today I decided to take my mom out for a make up and shopping day. I decided to make an appointment for the both of us to get full face make over. I booked online the appointments were for 10am and 1030 am. Come to find out at 10 am the mall does not open till 11 am. Not the girls at the stores fault at all this was more of a system issue with the website. Me coming from Stockton it's was an inconvenience, but I blame only the website which I hope can be fixed for others in the future. Anyways... My mom had her make over done first by an amazing artist named 'Celeste'. First off my moms was hesitant about getting a make over in the first place and kept saying she didn't want it, but I finally talked her into it. In my mother's words, "Celeste was patient with her professional and artistic". My mother's favorite part about her make over was her eyes. Celeste used the NEW hudabeauty NUDE pallete, which she purchased among other things that Celeste used on her today. My make over was done by 'Brittny H', another amazing artist. She was very knowledgeable about all the products I was interest in. Being a make up fanatic I'm always wanted to try "what's new"! And I was impressed how she knew everything to a "T". I probably would have bought everything if I was not with my mom, because she's knows I'm also a make up horderer. Not only were the make up artist simply amazing but they also provided us with a lot of information about Sephora as a company and the upcoming classes that I plan on attending. I love Sephora in general and shop online there way too much. I've had a mixed bag of experiences in the stores, but recently I had two excellent interactions at the Arden Fair location. On Friday, I went in looking for a good nude lipstick and a better concealer. Celeste was so helpful! She did the Color IQ matching on me and found me the Smashbox classic nude Safe Word. It's gorgeous, she did such a good job finding me a good shade! She also patiently went around with me testing concealers. She was awesome! So helpful!! On Saturday, I got my makeup done by JJ (possibly her name is Jo Jo... I don't remember!!) She did amazing! I felt so beautiful and she was so helpful as she explained each step to me. I drove a long way to get my birthday gift just to be treated like I was waiting their time. The cashier just said that my options were in the box. The options in the box were knocked over, I couldn't even see what I was looking at. All of my past birthday experiences have been dealt with detailed explanations of each product and even some recommendations as to what I should pick. I asked her what my options are because they were knocked over and she didn't even know. Her coworker next to her stepped in for her and said "a toner and dew drops, a blush and mascara, and body and hair care." These employees need to be reminded that this is a birthday gift. To you it is just another day at work, but I was really excited to treat myself to this. I ended up picking something I didn't even know because I felt so rushed and like a nuisance. My experience here with the employees that helped me with the makeup are amazing! Never missed with them but skincare section has always been so-so. One time it'll be good and the other times it'll be laughable. One of the employees would always bust out "skincare myths" to not only me but i did hear him try to talk down on others about chemical sunscreens "causing cancer." Not only is this false, but it's not really an ethical selling tactic if you're just making up stuff to your customers to guilt trip them and then showing them MINERAL sunscreens that cost X2 the price of what some chemical sunscreens I was looking at as that did happen with me when he was talking to me. Ofc, I rejected his suggestion but he kept getting more aggravated LOL. I remember telling my dermatologist about this story and ofc, she laughed but if I do come here again, I won't be asking for help in the skincare section lol. read more

This is usually my go to Sephora, but I am bothered with my last experience shopping. I am never the type of person to leave reviews but I personally feel harassed and I am sure I am not the only one. I have worked for very high end customer service jobs so I know how to treat customers correctly. Whenever I go shopping I go for exactly what I need and check out. The moment I walked in, I was literally approached so many times if I needed anything and usually this is a great thing but in this case it was so overwhelming I just wanted to shop in peace. One particular older lady don't know if she was the manager or not kept coming up to me over and over again to the point where I felt uncomfortable and now feeling like I was being watched personally. I told her many times that I was okay and didn't need help at the moment. If someone says they are fine, why would continuously approach them in every isle? I got to the point where I was so bothered I didn't even want to continue shopping, I just purchased what I had in my shopping bag and left. At this point I don't ever want to go back to that Sephora again, I will drive to another location. I am all about having great service but this was overwhelming and uncomfortable. read more

I really do love shopping at Sephora. It's a woman's candy store. But my last experience at this location was annoying as hell. Usually there are plenty of black-clad employees wandering the store to assist you with your beauty needs/products. I saw one female staff working the floor, no one getting a makeover, and 2 staff at the registers. This was a busy Saturday afternoon so I can understand, from the employee's perspective, working under stress because of mismanagement (understaffing). But still, you are in customer service, and you should be doing it without attiude or rudeness. I needed to find out if they had any more product in stock. I did my best to look at all the rows nearby in case they were misplaced. After walking around the store a bit, I finally spotted the lone female staff, and politely asked if she could help me. She was talking on her little walkie-talkie headpiece (which I didn't notice at first) and said she'd help me after another customer. No problem. So she never came around again, and when she did, she asked me 3 times to repeat what I was looking for. Some people just cannot multitask. Or single-task for that matter. She said "try looking at all the other products in case they were just misplaced". Ha! Why didn't I think of that? I made her look (in case I overlooked it twice) and, whatdayaknow, same results. So she gets on her little headpiece to speak to who knows who, who ends up not knowing shit. Finally one of the cashiers said, "no, if we're out, we're out". That's fine. My friend that I was shopping with asked her to do a price check on some eye cream from Clinique. When she said, "$80", my friend was a little taken back, and repeated "$80?" Then the employee, cattily remarked, "Well that's how much an eye cream that works cost." I couldn't believe she said that. Just rude. We get in line to purchase our products and she's asking people if they're paying by credit card so that she can help them on the side. I'm praying that she doesn't get to me. I already knew there would be an issue because I had an online Groupon to use. And of course there was. She didn't know how to ring it up. Thank goodness she passed me on to someone more competent and friendly to finish up my transaction. I overheard her when she was trying to type in another customer's email address. Lord, she couldn't even focus on that. Seriously annoying. I'll be shopping for my makeup at Macy's, Nordstrom's, or MAC from now on! read more

I LOVE Sephora, maybe a little too much. I'm very into skin care. I think as you age, you become more into taking care of your skin and having a daily routine versus buying a ton of makeup. Don't get me wrong I still love makeup. But at the moment I'm all about mask, serum and creams. The Sephora girls are amazing and their always helpful. I know some girls talked about how Sephora has a 3 limit samples per a day that they can give out to a customer's. I for one never had that issues at this Sephora or any other Sephora. The girls at this location are always trying to give me samples to take home and test it out. So far everything I need is always stocked up at their store unlike Ulta. If they don't have my item in store it's okay I'm a VIB Rouge so I get free 2 day shipping! One thing that does suck is that they don't have Estee Lauder double wear foundation in this store but they do have it online on their website. Sephora sell a lot of makeup tools as well but yet they don't sell foundation pumps. So I always get my foundation pump from Mac for about $9 & it saves me money because I don't over pour my foundation. This Sephora has all the high end brands I love. Sephora's is definitely not cheap, but you do get what you pay for. I can't use drugstore products, it clogs my pores and break me out. Another thing Sephora sells; mask sheets for about $7 each, you can get the same kinda mask for about $1 at K.P plaza. Overall I'm a fan, Sephora is one of my favorite stores. Lately everytime I walk in the store customers would ask me for help thinking I work there. Lol, maybe it's because of my crazy hair colors. The Sephora girls are always on point, when they hear that a customer needs help with a product or a foundation match. But before you get a foundation match make sure you don't just ask for just any Sephora worker. Ask for the one that you think their make up is done more to your style. Because I have some that recommend me foundation colors that are way to light or way to dark. Because they all have a different style, and most likely they would recommend something that they like. Origin Charcoal Mask! A Sephora worker told me about it and it changed my life. Seriously, I tried over 20 mask from Sephora & this is the #1 mask. I love using this mask before I use a nose strip. The mask helps bring everything gross up to the surface of your skin so the nose strip can do its magic! Shopping trip: 12/31/15 @ approximately 4:30pm. Felt completely marginalized and discriminated against. An employee there was extremely convinced I was shoplifting when in reality I wasn't. I was planning to buy a hand cream, but she followed me around the entire store and made me extremely uncomfortable. I would have appreciated it if she offered me customer service instead of making it extremely obvious that she was following me around. And because she decided to target the wrong person, she failed to recognize that the lady right next to me had stolen four L'occitane hand creams, but oh well, that's what happens when the employees weren't trained correctly. I walked out of the store infuriated and went to Nordstrom to purpose my items. I WAS a very loyal customer to Sephora, but now I will NEVER give this location my business again. If I could give them negative stars, I would. UPDATE: 1/7/16 After writing this Yelp review, I also went and shared my experience with the Sephora customer service. They relied my review to the store director, Dominque Yokley. She personally reached out to me and sent me an email apologizing for the actions of her employees and said she would use this as a learning experience. She also asked for my address so she could send me a small gift. I received the package today and was completely floored. She gifted me very designer, luxury products which I wasn't expecting. This Sephora is pretty nice overall. I know where things are and I know what I want usually. The workers are friendly and helpful enough and I can usually get what I need without much of a hassle. I've probably bought eyeshadow palettes, primers, and other goodies, but I honestly don't remember. I shop here way too often. There are tons of products here from so many different cosmetic lines such as Tarte, Buxom, Hourglass, Makeup Forever, and many others. The more high end stuff is like YSL, Givenchy, Dior, etc. The skin care products are pretty awesome too-- I personally like Boscia's moisturizer and Philosphy's moisturizer and eye cream. If you're a make up beginner, don't be afraid to ask for help! The workers should know what they're talking about and if they don't, well it's their loss. But some quick tips about makeup in general (especially if you don't want to blow all your money here): - Get a neutral palette. Great for any occasion-- Stila palettes are pretty nice and affordable and they usually have 10-12 colors for $40-$50. - Don't buy mascara. Yes some mascaras are really nice (Makeup Forever Smoky), but it's going to dry out in about a 1-2 months. And that mascara is a great incubator for germs. - Blush: Buy a neutral pink color. Looks good with any look you do (Nars Deep Throat/Orgasm or Hourglass' Luminous Flush) - Lipstick: Stick to Makeup Forever. Good formula, decent price, good color range. Other high end lipsticks are nice, but pricy at $35-$40. - Foundation: If you splurge on something, splurge on this. Tarte has an amazing thick, full coverage foundation and the line in general has more natural ingredients. Makeup Forever matte velvet is good for people with oily skin. - Bronzer/Contour-- Smashbox has a great palette but the highlighter is not so great. - Highlighter-- Watts up by Benefit is beautiful and it's a cream highlighter which is the only negative thing, I haven't tried the Becca ones, but I heard that they are the bomb. - Eye primer is a MUST. Makes your makeup stay longer for any skin type and I usually use urban decay eye primer in the original formula. - Face primer-- not necessary, but always nice depending on what look you want. I like the Laura Mercier one and Hourglass. - Concealer: the Laura Mercier secret camouflage palette has good coverage, but drugstore is good too. Sephora's immense range of personal care products exceeds the scale of believability. While I do not care to use cosmetics, I am an admitted cologne hound, and revel in the wall of gleaming, glittering bottles filled with the finest fragrances. Beyond the usual well-known designers are imported brands and varieties that leave my olfactory senses well-sated. I am reluctant to accompany my female cohorts-in-crime when they delve into the shelves for their powders and cremes, because I never seem to escape without a couple of new scents to add to my collection. Service has always been prompt and attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. I've never experienced an apathetic teenage clerk clicking her gum at me and shrugging her world-weary shoulders whenever I ask a particular question. I grant four stars only because, as I glance across the rows, it's like looking at a make-up battlefield riddled with the corpses of broken brushes and soiled sponge wedges; powders and potions and ointments and lotions surreptitiously dripping, the lifesblood of some slain fantastical beauty beast poured out in a sacrificial offering to the aesthetic gods. Okay, it isn't -that- bad. But damn those women can tear them up some testers. (Okay, and drag queens too, I'm sure they saddle up for a ride through Sephora to lasso down some purties.) read more

They act like it's such a chore when you ask for something - like they're also better than you. Sorry honey, your foundation doesn't match your neck, your eyeshadow needs blending, and your brows are looking more like distant cousins more than sisters. However, you do get the occasional sweet employee which I do appreciate. Sadly, that's not the usual case. Only two kinds of shops give me that kid in a candy store feeling - art supplies and cosmetics. Walking into Sephora one can be dazzled by the rainbow of eyeshadow pots, the shimmery rows of lip gloss, the allure of the fragrance shelves, or the endless possibilities that spring to mind when eye to eye with the cosmetic brush selection. The staff are friendly and helpful. I haven't seen any snobbery and they always answer my questions and help me find what I need. I like this store - can't you tell? Well, this sephora feels really cramped. I've gotten sprayed by perfume (someone else trying it on) while browsing, boo. I enjoy the roseville location a lot more, and hope they open one in Folsom. This one is smaller, and the staff is not as helpful, but that's ok. I have encountered some nice staff members, and then there are the ones that blatantly ignore me. Once I get to the register and they realize I spend disgusting amounts of money here, ass-kissing begins. I find it a little funny, and try not to let it bother me, but really? Maybe I would've bought that ridiculously priced item, had you talked me into it.. Generally, I usually like Sephora because they offer a wide array of different brands but lately, the customer service has been horrible. I used to think that Sephora's customer service was way better than MAC but they're pretty much even now. I came in here looking for a palette by Benefit which they sold out of, I'm not surprised though. It's one of the holiday palettes that I gave my friend for a birthday present and I liked it so much that I wanted it, too. After searching and looking, no luck at all. So, I decided to go look for the Yves Saint Laurent section, no where to be found! I placed an online order and went to the mall for curbside pick up. I called when I got to the mall and when asked where I parked I told the employee and they told me I was in the incorrect spot. She told me where I needed to go so I went there and then called again to inform them that I was at the curbside pickup only to be told that I needed to download the Sephora app and then check in, so I did that. After picking curbside on the "APP" I got a message saying curbside not available. So I call for a 3rd time and tell an employee what was going on, she asked me to hold on so that she could get my information to get my order. So I'm thinking thank the lord. But she comes back to the phone and says oh I'm sorry curbside isn't available today so you'll need to come in. You know when you assess a hair stylist based on their own hair? If your hair stylist has shitty ugly hair, why the hell would you want them to do yours? That's how I feel about getting my make up done. I'm sorry Sephora employee, but I don't want you doing my make up if you can't even match your own foundation. Ex: I told one of the employees that I had dry skin and she suggested a product for people with oily skin. Also I used to really love some of the products in their Sephora line that have been discontinued and when asked for something comparable, I was met with blank stares (on more than one occasion because I tried coming back to see if I could get better help the next time around). I am so done getting colored matched here because they can't ever get it right lol. About a year ago, I had someone color match me for the makeup forever hd foundation. So I go home to use it and it's very orange! Arden is too far from my house so I wasn't in the mood to go back to get it exchanged for the right one. A waste of money, I know..... Then recently, someone color matched me for the same makeup forever hd foundation. She followed all the steps & even tried 3 different shades on my face. She was really confident it was right. I even told her about last time someone color matched me wrong. So I get home, very excited to use it. And guess what? This one was too light..... Overall, customer service is great. If they don't have a specific product in stock, they always offer to order it online for you. But I'm never trusting them to color match me ever again. Lol read more

I worked retail for a long time so I understand the stress and grumpiness of retail workers, especially this time of year. But the way I was treated the other night here was unacceptable. I came into the store a few minutes before close to do a simple exchange, one brow brush for another (I had bought the wrong one hours before). Of course I understand they were closing and weren't happy I walked in, I wouldn't have done so if it was something complicated. Sephora's Customer service at this Arden location is a hit or miss. There are times you are greeted by most employees in the store and sometimes you DONT get greeted at all. Being ignored by Sephora employees was a bad start to our shopping trip. Given that my friend and I went in expecting to spend money. We have an obsession with makeup and pretty much have too much makeup to our collection already but still was in an extreme shopping mood. I wanted to try a sample of something in the store before i bought it so I proceed to seek help from someone since nobody wanted to offer any help since we walked in. Finally I was able to flag someone down by the makeup counter for a quick sample. She didn't seem all too excited to help us. While she was getting our sample ready, I asked her a simple question. She didn't respond or answer me and pretty much ignored me. My friend look at me and was like did she hear you or is she just ignoring you? Let me remind you that my question was a question she would want to answer. I asked is there any great new products or any new LE makeup I should know about. I heard no answer back. If I was a retail employee and heard that question, I would instantly stop and say of course and show them all the most popular products to try to boost up the store's sales. When a Customer ask these kind of questions that means they are interested in purchasing product from the store. However, I think they pick and choose when they want to be nice. The employee that I asked for help from pretty much had a (I don't want to be here kinda of look). Remember Sephora is a higher end cosmetics/skin care store. In order to make sales goal sometimes you just have to greet ALL of your Customers whether you like it or not. The days I get really good service I spend about $100-200 dollars. The days like today where I receive no service I bought NOTHING!. If you want my money you will have to work for it. I do not appreciate the inconsistent Customer Service at this location. This is why Sephora Arden Fair you only deserve 1 star on this visit. Let's see if you will ever be able to change my mind on updating a different review with more stars in the future. Walked in today to check out some natural moisturizer and toner since I'm out and as i walked in looked around made a circle no employees greeted me until I walked up to one around the make up isle in the front and asked her "hi I'm looking for first aid beauty.. oh it's right here!" I should have gotten her name. This is the reason why I never like going to Sephora because many employees is so stuck up like luxury stores but your not!!! I LOVE Sephora and have been a loyal fan. However, going to the Sephora in JCPennys is a different story. I normally just go to the regular store in the mall, but I had a JCP Sephora giftcard that I could only use at JCP. My complaint is with the staff. Dont get me wrong they are friendly, but some of them are just a little questionable. I knew exactly what I wanted which was a bare mineral powder foundation in medium tan. I just needed an associate to show me where it was. After being led to the Bare Minerals area, I told the employee I didnt need anymore help. I was then approached by 2 more associates literally 2 minutes apart. I thanked both of them, but informed them I didnt need any help. I used to work in retail, so I know that it is there job to ask, but come on. Cant a girl shop in peace. After a few more minutes, another associate asked to help me. At this point I just really wanted to find the product and leave the store! I told her that I found what I was looking for which was in a medium tan. I thought that the associate would just walk away, but she just stood there hovering over me. She was apparently assessing my skin color, and after a few minutes of just looking at me she said "Yeah, I think you are right. Medium tan is your color." ARE YOU SERIOUS!! Prior to that I had told her that I was just buying a refill of a product, so of course it's the right shade. The torture does not end here. When I finally reached the cashier, I told her that I would be paying with giftcards. I also showed her my Sephora insider card to see if they take it a JCP. She looked at my card and said "of course we accept it." After handing her my giftcards, the cashier kept asking me which of the 2 cards had the higher balance. She literally asked me this question 3 times, even after I kept pointing to the higher valued card. I just could not believe this store. To top it off, after she finished scanning my giftcards and told me my balance, I had asked her if she can still scan my Sephora insider card. She just looked at the card and said that since we were was in the middle of the transaction, that she was unable to do that. Man, I even showed her my card at the beginning of the transaction. At this point I did not want to make a big deal. I just needed to get out of there as fast as I could!! What the heck. I will not be returning here! read more

This review is specific to the Sephora in Arden Fair Mall. I have been to a few Sephora's before, but this one is probably my least favorite because of the staff that works there. They aren't bad per say, but they don't have the same level of knowledge as other places I have been. I went in looking for recommendations on travel size skin care products. The woman that came up to me and my friend showed us to the small size products near the register, which didn't really have what I was looking for. She then said I could try starter kits, but other than that, that was all the help she really gave us. She didn't ask questions about the type of products I was looking for, what type of products I normally used, nada. Don't get me wrong, not a huge deal breaker, but I have been to other places where they showed a little more care. read more

I love coming to Sephora the staff here is very friendly and very helpful to help you find whatever skin care you may need they also offer you a free foundation match so you could find exactly what you need with the right color and not leaving with a color that Way you could find exactly what color that you're like they have several different name brands that she is from such as Clinique Smashbox bareMinerals Sephora I really love the Sephora pressed powder it works great and is affordable they also have tart and two-faced and urban decay and anybody who's never tried urban decay eye primer should definitely try it the stuff works amazing and last all day so you don't have to worry about your eyeshadow smudging off during the day It really does last all day this establishment also sells perfume and make up brushes their make up brushes are very great they work really well and if you don't feel like paying the price for a expensive make up brush the Sephora brushes work just as good I highly recommend this at this establishment for anybody looking for skin care new fragrances new make up and much more they definitely have it all I will definitely be coming back here again very soon next time I am in the area thank you Sephora you guys are awesome read more

I usually really love Sephora, but my last experience here wasn't pleasant. I'm hoping everytime I go here doesn't end up the same way. It wasn't a horrible experience that would make me stop going here though. Mainly because where else would I go? I find it hard to find workers here approachable because sometimes I feel like they're either very nice or just plan annoyed with helping people. One lady never smiled and I never saw her helping anyone. She looked like she didn't want to be there basically. Anyways, I wanted to find out the price for an item and asked one of the other customer service people (she was actually really nice). She was a big help, so I decided to come to her with anymore questions or help with makeup. I came back to her later for some help finding foundations but I guess she wasn't knowledgeable so she said she would get some sort of color-matcher professional of some sort. I could be wrong with hearing the word "professional" but at least a qualified one. Whatever this color-matcher was, she wasn't a big help. I usually have big confidence when asking for help for certain make up questions but this was horrible. I told her my issue with my skin and wanted to find the right foundation. She was very nice but she had the hardest time looking for the right color. We ended up going to another brand and trying there for a while too (I tried probably 6). Finally, we found something that matched my skin color. She preceded to apply primer and foundation on my whole face with a foundation brush. The primer was Horrible. She either put to much or it was just a bad product because my face felt like I was wearing some sort of cleansing Mask. My skin became very stiff. When she handed me the mirror, I wasn't pleased. My face began to flake. I'm guessing from all the primer? I could barely move my mouth without cracking the primer and foundation. She told me it was my skin and with exfoliation it would come off... Um... it was obviously not my skin... I've never had any problems with flaking skin before. She made me feel like I put glue on my face. i was literally peeling it off my face. I still bought other products from here but I'm not sure if I'd ever ask any make up advice from them. What I didn't understand was why this "color-matcher" was behind the counter (I saw her there previously) doing transactions while the other lady was out on the floor. I ended up going across the way to MAC and found a very helpful, knowledgeable person there. I definitely will be going back to sephora but I probably won't ask for help other then "how much is this?" Good selections, semi-good customer service. I'm writing this review on behalf of my friend - I was with her in each and every step. Sephora made my friend from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. Yes, they painted my friend's face like clown and I was like WOW - you look HOT. SERVICE: It makes sense, why the staff takes too long because they take care of each and every customer. But, it's so slow and I can't help to mention this. Here are some highlights: (1) Slow: they are always busy with other customers and it takes about a good 30 minutes for a staff to help you out, show you around, and paint your face. (2) Sometimes they are snobby: it's really sad to say, but sometimes, especially the days when I look like a teenager - wearing sweats and no makeup, and I enter the store they ignore me. On the other hand, when I look like a grown-up (painted my face before I came here), they really want to help me out and have me try on products. The best way to come here and not get snob of is to go with a large, HUGE crowd of girls with face-painted already - and then they will help you out. (3) They put a LOAD of makeup on your face: Sephora staff knows how to sell you their products. They make you look 100X HOTTER, even if you have some existing makeup on - they just do it better. My friend said the staff put too much makeup on you - like face painting. But, also makes sense, they are trying to sell it to you. PRODUCTS: This is what I bought at Sephora: (1) NAKED by Urban Decay: LOVE THIS! This is a MUST BUY! Neutral color and works with everything I have. $50. 5 stars. (2) MAKE UP FOREVER: This is it girls - this will cover everything from red spots, to brown spots, to black spots - this will make you look HOT. $40. 5 stars. (3) BRUSHES: One brush is $35, but it works really well with the makeup forever. **OVERALL: if you think your girlfriends is not wearing enough makeup - take her here and Sephora will paint her face for you like a clown.. cause you're going to be like me: WOW, you look HOT. Sephora recieves 4.5 stars for their product selection, but probably a 3 for their customer service. I rarely ever get greeted when I walk in, and I only get asked if I need help about half the time. I'm 22, and I probably look like I'm 16 thanks to my genetics. But that's no reason to ignore me because you think I don't have money to spend here. [P.S. I reach VIB status every year]. Yes, the products are pricey. But you get what you pay for (usually)! I'm loving their nail polish rack/display. Instead of just the Sephora by OPI one, they have a lot more brands of nail polish in one spot. Perfect for someone obsessed with higher end nail polishes. Another thing I like is that you can always take home a sample of anything (supposedly). Some associates are a bit stingy, but others are pretty generous. read more

Sephora at Arden Mall has the best employees--great customer service, they are always available to help out, and they seem to always be doing something work related anytime I walk in. Super friendly team and at least 5-6 I've come into contact with have gone above and beyond. So a thousand stars for a great team. I don't love the layout of this particular location, but it almost always has what I need. I don't know if it's just this Sephora or common in all stores, but some of the items/shades I come in for are usually sold out or just not available. The testing stations are always clean and there is always fresh remover, tissue, swabs, etc available. read more

Sephora is a great place because they carry multiple brand named makeup (i.e. Nars, MUFE, Bare Minerals, Korres, Benefit, Urban Decay + more). I'm addicted to makeup and this store has all my needs except for MAC (of course). Sephora also lets you sample their products. For the past 2 months, I've been sampling the new Nars tinted moisturizer. It's great because you can try the product before committing to it. Brands at Sephora don't come cheap. So, don't expect any drugstore prices here. The cheapest brand is their own; Sephora. The workers are nice and helpful. They're always there if you need assistance or they'll ask you if you're finding everything okay. They also carry perfume products and skincare products. If you haven't done so, join their Sephora Beauty insider. You can accumulate points from the products you purchase (online/store). After 100 points, you can redeem it. Went in for an exchange this morning and was immediately greeted at the door and offered help (i know that they have to do this & it's required) however they were the sweetest Sephora workers I've come across. The other ones at other locations will almost harass you and be snobby. The young woman working in the fragrance section was incredibly helpful & I was in and out in less than 5 minutes :) read more

Hi, my name is Jessica..and I'm a makeup junkie *Hi Jessica* Glad I got that off my chest.... So I buy a lot of makeup, face wash, moisturizers, lotions etc from Sephora. This is my go to place for all things girlie. Sometimes I find it helpful to shop a bit on-line for things I'm interested in and bring a list with me. The store is large and broken out my company, but it can still be overwhelming if you don't know exactly what your looking for. The staff in this store are very helpful. I came in here the other day and the tester I wanted to try was missing, I looked around for a second and someone was right there, asking me if i needed any help. They also know what they are talking about, different companies, different products...every sales person who has helped me in this store has seemed to know what they are talking about! If they don't have something in stock, they will call another store and if you have a beauty Insider card (which everyone should, its free) you get a special gift on your birthday, as well as free gifts when you reach certain point levels. read more
