I've been shopping at Lush since the early 2000s, and while I've always had great experiences with their staff, my visit on Memorial Day truly stood out. My daughter wanted to stop in, and we were initially just browsing. As someone who is very shy and usually prefers to shop on my own, I typically decline help unless I need it. After my daughter asked a question, an associate with pink hair stepped in to help, and she completely transformed our experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the products. She took the time to explain several items in detail, demonstrated products for me, and even showed me how to properly layer them. I've been shopping at Lush for years and still learned things I never knew. What impressed me most was how well she read the room. She never made us feel pressured to buy anything. She made us feel comfortable, welcome, and genuinely cared for. Talking with her felt less like interacting with a salesperson and more like chatting with a friend I'd known for years. We ended up spending well over $250, not because of a sales pitch, but because she took the time to educate us and create such a positive experience. By the end of our visit, both my daughter and I felt so comfortable and appreciated that we gave her a hug goodbye. For two very shy people, that's saying a lot. That interaction left such a positive impression on us that it genuinely set the tone for the rest of our day. After we left, I actually called the store hoping to get her name so I could recognize her specifically, but I completely understand and respect the store's privacy policies. The entire staff at this location has always been wonderful, but the associate with the pink hair is truly a star. I've been here several times over the years but I most recently came for a friend's birthday celebration here! The staff was super friendly and let us walk around the store before the start, sample products and ask a ton of questions. The actual party experience itself involved a step by step skincare routine from cleansing to exfoliant to toner to serum to lotion. We also got to make our own bubble bar which was so fun and unique! We also got a goodie bag with what I think is the birthday party exclusive bath bomb, the piñata bath bomb! I haven't tried this yet but I love a good bath bomb and Lush is the pioneer in this field so I'm sure it'll be great. I'm not 100% certain if this was part of the birthday package or extra but we also got a $30 credit to shop in the store and I purchased a lavender sleepy balm that I have been using nightly to aid in relaxing before bed. I also got the magnesium body balm that I like to rub on my hands before bed to better help my sleep and some fresh eye patches but I think while I would repurchase the lavender and magensium balms, I wouldn't get the eye patches as they didn't adhere to the skin and would require laying down for some time. read more

I recently attended a birthday party here and it was a beyond amazing experience! All the staff were extremely friendly. I showed up a bit early, but it was no problem for them. They let me walk around the store and sample lots of products. During the party we were able to demo their best selling skin care products and we got to take a mini toner home. The birthday girl herself got a face abs neck massage. Then we got to make our own bubble bar and this was so cool. It was such a fun and hands-on experience! For the final part of the experience, we got a $25 credit towards a purchase so we were able to shop around and choose some of the things that we were able to sample. Finally, we were given our goodie bags and inside was a piñata bath bomb, how cute! This was such a fun experience for all ages. The staff at the Sherman Oaks Lush have been great and I've never had a bad service experience with them, which goes to show they hire helpful staff. I generally don't like moisturizers as I don't like the feel of most of them on my skin. I use working hands but not much else. However, the staff has helped me find products I like to use. This place is full of handmade soap bars, bath bombs with many different colors, even sparkles! they have all the hair care, body care that's needed. Review for Stormy: I had an unfortunate experience at this location on 11/30/25 due to the behavior of an employee named Stormy. From the moment my mother and I began shopping, she followed us around the store, closely watching us without ever greeting us or offering assistance. Her behavior made us feel singled out rather than supported as customers. Two other employees we interacted with were very kind and helpful. However, during one of these interactions, Stormy approached, not to assist us directly, but to hand a basket to the employee helping us, who then handed it to us. The way this was handled felt unnecessary and only reinforced the impression that Stormy was monitoring us rather than providing service. The situation became uncomfortable enough that my mother directly asked Stormy why she was following and watching us. Her response was dismissive and abrasive, and her demeanor did not align with her claim that she wasn't doing so. When we attempted to confirm Stormy's name at the front door, another employee hesitated and gave conflicting answers before eventually stating she didn't know because she was "new." It felt like she just didn't want to say her name. Thankfully, the employee who had been helping us earlier confirmed the name for us. This experience was disappointing, as I have always encountered friendly, professional staff at this store. My concerns are directed solely toward Stormy's conduct, as every other employee we interacted with was polite and welcoming. I hope that going forward, Stormy can improve her approach to customer service so that no one especially customers with brown skin, feels uncomfortable or unfairly targeted while shopping here. read more

if you're someone who likes to shop in peace this may not be the location for you. every lush always has great staff but this location was next level checking on you and breathing down your neck. every second we turned an employee would be in our face asking 500 questions. one of our friends even said multiple times to a staff they were still contemplating but thank you though which is usually an invitation for the employee to lay off. one of the employees followed one of our friends around like a puppy dog the entire store. staff are very sweet but a bit overkill. I recommend giving people a chance to breathe and browse without getting interrupted every 3 seconds. read more

A local Lush is the best kind. Bath, Body and all natural daily self care needs is what you get at lush. From simple yet aromatic soaps, shampoos and body wash to skin care cleansers, toners and scrubs and beyond. The body sprays are strong and like no other which is clearly why they are some of the more expensive goodies in the store. Being a plant based chain Lush prides itself on originality. The Sherman Oaks location being one of a kind with amazing customer service, best health and safety practices especially during a pandemic and an easy to navigate layout and wonderful displays. I tend to get gifts from here on my birthday from family and always try to return the gesture to those I know will appreciate the variety of Lush which is practically most people. The best thing for me is that all ingredients are listed on products and even sometimes on a small card or tag, especially for highly purchased goods. Located toward the east end of the Westfield Fashion Square just next to Macy's on the first floor it's easy to get swept up and leave with some great finds especially with great service everytime. The capacity limit is low which is good, but sense Lush - Sherman Oaks is eye and scent candy gone wild so you won't spend a crazy amount of time here as things will call out to you. And there's always an associate close by to help you hone in on what you want for yourself or someone in your life. read more

If you ever are wondering what to buy for someone, describe a little about that person, and maybe what scents they like and Jasmine will have great suggestions for you! She really cares! What made me stop by as I made a mad dash to the APPLE store since I had a broken iPhone as I went past LUSH there was a digital ad in the window, to stop in for a "sample of KINDNESS". Curious I did ask about it. AND BAM! Jasmine was ready with a quick sample. I explained to her how certain scents are too strong for me, and she listened to what I wanted in a relaxing bath, and she offered some great suggestions, telling me the exact ingredients used to create the bath bomb products (since I am allergic to grasses and tea tree oil). Upon checking out at the cashier another beautiful employee named ALEX was kind enough to print out ingredient labels of the products I bought to stick them on my bag. Jasmine is the Assistant Manager and a GREAT one at that because she listens to customers, makes them feel valued, and when I returned a week later, she remembered my name and how I had an interview last week. She truly cares and is an incredible asset to LUSH!! PRODUCTS: 5 out of 5 stars. ASSISTANT MANAGER JASMINE: 6 out of 5 stars. This has become my new Obsession. I have walked by this store frequently but never went in. I went a few weeks back and I keep coming back. I really love their products and what they offer. A few products I really love is their charity pot lotion, it's really great as anytime you purchase this item they give back a portion to charity. It makes my hands really soft especially during this cold weather. I love their face masks I love that they have like a 2-3 week expiration date as they need to be refrigerated so it basically forces me to use it every other day and you can get about 5-6 uses out of it. I've tried a few so far and I love it. They have great soaps and shampoos and just overall a lot of great products that you have to come in and try. Melanie here is a wonderful person, make sure you go and see her. She's helped me a few times and all the products she's tried on me or given me samples of I ended up loving. She even gave me a hand scrub in store with a massage and everything, it was great. I definitely will be back. You can also ask for samples and just really enjoy this place. I know I do. This store is super fun! I had seen them pop up in the Westfield Sherman Oaks mall (1st Floor near Macy's) but they hadn't yet opened, well tonight the wait was over - I was able to go in an explore. Their grand opening is set for next Saturday but boy are they already up and running. We must have spent over an hour in here on our "tour". I wanted to know the concept behind them since I had never heard of them or seen/used their products. After our nearly hour long tour (I'm not really sure how I managed to get my 12 year old son to endure this - he must want something from me or perhaps he was as intrigued as I was), I'm still not exactly sure what everything is and how to use what but I did purchase a few things to try. I can't wait to see how they work out - the bath bombs and bubble bars are fun, fun, fun! This store screams party - bath party! Pamper me, lather me, exfoliate and moisturize me P.A.R.T.Y :) with product names like sex bomb, twilight, space girl, phoenix rising to sunny side, two timing tart, big blue - I just want one of everything! I want to mix and match and lather and rinse and shine and smell like something out of a bakery. Shampoo Bars (can't wait to try my shine bar), Massage Bars - trying Strawberry Feels Forever - these are pretty sexy! I wanted a bunch - some are even edible or lickable, yumm!, Salt Scrubs, Dry Shampoo, Soap bars cut deli style (that you pay for be their weight), Henna hair color, cosmetics - oh my! After I told him I felt helpless, as my shampoo is never stocked that I had been using for years, and that I wasn't going to wash my hair in store, it was only then that he offered me one. Let me just say that this was my first time at a lush store and I was not disappointed. I was assigned from my boss to get ten gifts for are co workers. There was so much gifts to decide on presentation made it even harder as everything looked amazing! I asked help from Alex!
