K nails and wax is the best nail salon, her work is fabulous!! Salon is beautiful, prices are affordable.

    Josh B.

Once again, I got pulled into shopping in a mall with my friend and as soon as we got into the mall she made a B-line right to Sephora. I'll never understand why people want to spend $$ to buy make up but I guess people have been doing it for ages and to each his or her own. So the general set up is just rows of seemingly endless makeup and cleansing products and colognes and cremes and brushes separated by makeup stations where some of the workers help to apply the latest and greatest on your face. We went on a Sunday afternoon and surprisingly it was like busy in spurts. It felt like it was elbow to elbow for a minute. All the mirrors were taken up by one to three people trying to put on as much "free" makeup as possible and then scatter like ants. I was also surprised by the amount of guys in there getting their makeup done or cramming palette after palette of make up on and leaving without paying for anything. Also lord help the one makeup artist on the floor trying to balance consulations and mixing samples and answering questions. Tell me why there were like 5 people on the register and there was only like 3 registers? Get out on the floor and help people. My friend, who seriously needed help finding the right color and collection to use had to wait until the one girl on the floor, who was very busy but looked like she was calmly and gently inhaling and exhaling the tide of customers rushing in an out, was done helping a guy with his brows. Everyone just putting make up on without using the proper applicators or their fingers, which I think is highly unsanitary and somewhat gross. One girl nearby took a lipstick right off the shelf, already uncapped mind you, and put it on. The lipstick looked like it was melty and had lip crusties on it before, and then she goes and basically puts it on like she's sucking on a popsicle. Get it together....please. Also, there was an odd smell, not quite perfume, not quite B.O, not quite Bath and Body Works. Anyway with everyone hogging the mirrors trying to make them beautiful but possibly making themself look worse than when they came in, this place seems like not a place for serious beauty gurus. It's pricey but that's the price people will pay for just the hope.

I would avoid this store completely. Consider it a place off limits. This man has been rude and pushy with his sales and has not been considerate of the client/customer's requests, instead simply trying to sell what he had on hand. A total NOPE. Just order online.. your chances are better online that walking in here and having to deal with MaMhoooood.

All the 1 star reviews here, even from 8 years ago are still true!…read more Insane markup on all products, doesn't tell you the price and will quickly talk you into a sale, swipe your card and you feel cheated. We were sold a bottle of Kenneth Cole Black, 3.4 oz for $120! It's $39 online through several retailers. My husband is not one for arguing so he will just walk off but the gentleman was very rude we expressed feeling like we got a bad deal and would rather return than do a charge back, but the gentleman did not care. He told us we could have his whole store if someone had a better price than him. We told him there was a better price and he started going on about being a small business, fake fragrances and Walmart being a large corporation. Manipulation tactics to dissuade you from continuing the conversation about his prices being too high. Very arrogant and just an awful interaction. Please don't buy from here and instead buy from retailers who respect your business. This business has bad ethics, no transparency in pricing, refund policies and are flippant when caught being dishonest.

This past weekend was my moms birthday, let me tell you my mom is a perfume guru. When I went to…read morethe mall I went to originally buy her some lotion from bath and body works. On my way out the mall I saw the perfume store the sale sign caught my eyes I walked in to look around and Sam was in there. He greeted me soon as I walked in asked if I needed help finding anything, I told him I was in a rush but wanted to look around quickly and come back another day. Even though I didn't buy anything he still provided great customer service I left rushing to my friends birthday then went back the next day. I walked in i cant remember her name but it was Sam's wife she greeted myself and my husband as we walked in. I explained to her that I came in the day before Sam provided such great service that I came back. We started to chat about what type of perfumes my mom loves we got the YSL Paris and Gucci one. I continued to name all my moms favorites and she simply recommended a perfum from Dubai, we spelled it and it was just moms kind. Litsen my mom is soooooo picky we were taking a big chance bringing her a new scent. She gave us a great discount we stayed in there even longer the anticipated due to our conversations we were having. We loved her personality, customer service, patience and the knowledge she had about the products. Lets fast forward my brother drove from Portland and needed to get mom a gift I told him not to go to the mall spend money with anyone go to the Commons to the perfume store get something from there he asked why that one i told him because the customer service was amazing. I don't know about everyone else but I rather spend my money somewhere with good customer service then pay less with garbage service. He went to the store to find Sam in there, he got him on the phone and I told Sam check the phone for pictures help him pick one. Sam's service was amazing again and my brother picked the Versace and left. This birthday was difficult for my mom due to my little brother passing few months ago and this was first birthday without him. We had to make sure we celebrated the way we always did especially with his covid. Mom loved her perfume selection and LOVED the Dubai one even more, we were all happy. Everyone at the party wanted to take pics of the perfumes to go buy it, I told them that they had to go to the Perfume store we went to.

Miniso is probably the store version of the Japanese word "kawaii", which basically translates to…read more"cute". It is similar to Daiso imo, but it has much more of a focus on cute things and brand collabs like Barbie, Pokemon, and Snoopy. Whereas Daiso is more like a general store featuring more basic things that fall under $2.50. [Quality/Costs]-- most of the items seem to be under $10. The lunchbox I got is not only sturdy, but it has a lot of perks for something that is only $9.90. [Variety]--they have lots of different items such as body sprays and perfumes, makeup, nail care, household supplies like house shoes and toothbrushes, tumblers, water bottles, small purses and wallets, and etc that are generally along the cutesy theme. [Location]--it's inside the Tacoma Mall. The store is super bright and it was fairly clean for how many people were jammed in there. [Service]--the employees were fine. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad either.

To be honest probably the reason why I love Miniso is for their candy selection. They have lots of…read morecandy that are popular over in Asia here. Hi-Chews can be found here and anymore it at least it feels like they can be found anywhere but these candies which I effectively have my fondness directed towards instead of Starburst also have Gummi versions of their candy. Now those you don't see as much of. But probably an even bigger draw is the Hello Kitty marshmallows which has a gel filled center. I didn't think I found anything more addictive than Hi-Chews but these definitely take the top spot. You can get Green Tea, Chocolate, Strawberry and I believe Mango flavors. I really liked the Strawberry and Green Tea jelly ones. If I am not careful and my sense of moderation is weak I can finish a package of these marshmallows much faster than a Hi-Chew bag and that too is a pig out experience as well. Anyway I do like the candy selection here and it's conveniently located in the Tacoma Mall.
