Craving dessert randomly late one Tuesday night and stumbled upon this nice dessert cafe while on the area. It's a nice sized store with plenty of tables inside and some stool seating that faces out to a busy street which is always nice to watch cars drive. The vibe was very chill and mellow at the time i went, great for reading a book or bringing your laptop to study. This place offers a variety of teas, coffees, ice creams, cakes, and croffles on their menu to name a few. I went with a single scoop of their Pandan Ice Cream which costs $5.50, but you get 5% off if you pay by cash or venmo. The service was very quick and the server who brought my ice cream out to my table was friendly. The single scoop was a generous portion and it came with oreos which was a nice surprise. The flavor was right on point, not too sweet, but you can still taste the pandan in each bite. I'll have to come back next time to try their other desserts!
Sundays call for brunch aaannnddd coffee dates. I've had this spot saved for a while and finally got the chance to check it out. Parking: Free parking lot. There's a small/medium parking lot. Finding a spot can be easy. Ambiance/Environment: The interior is very cute. They have a decent amount of indoor seating. There's a small den with a booth-ish seating. There are regular-height tables and chairs and shorter tables and chairs. It's a studious environment but also a nice spot to hangout. Service: The cashier that assisted me was simply efficient. Throughput was quick after ordering. We only waited about 12 min for everything. Drinks & dessert: The menu can be overwhelming. They offer small bites, desserts, milk teas, coffee, fruit teas, teas, yogurt, blended drinks, etc. Although the photos of the drinks look appealing, the presentation doesn't match. I was told they no longer offer drinks in a glass even if you're dining in. All drinks are in to-go cups. I got the Truffle Coffee, Vietnamese Black Coffee (with no sugar), and Egg Cream Toast. If you prefer your drinks strong and bitter, then the Vietnamese Black Coffee will be perfect for you. The bear on top is absolutely cute. Make sure you drink this properly - always let Vietnamese coffee sit and don't slurp it in two gulps. Hence why there's a lot of ice. The Truffle Coffee tasted exactly as it sounds .. I thought the flavors were okay, but I believe truffle should only stay with savory dishes lol. The egg cream itself was thick and creamy. I was expecting some fancy french toast along side with it, but it's literally just toasted white bread. Pricing: More on the expensive side for coffee in OC. I'd come back to try their other drinks bc they all sound appealing. I wouldn't get the egg cream toast again.
I really think the less than satisfactory reviews are from not knowing how to order here. I talked to Alisha at the front who is here mornings and went over recommendations based on my preference (less heavy/sweet, dark roast/strong coffee). Desserts are impressively made in house here. The ingredients are top notch for desserts and coffees. I would skip the baguette stuff and just do dessert and drinks here, unlike my first visit.

Came here with my dad for some coffee after lunch on his recommendation. Now my dad is very hard to please when it comes to food and drink - particularly Vietnamese coffee. He spoke very highly of this place which is all but a guaranty of quality. Sure enough, I was very satisfied with the coffee, it's on the stronger side which is perfect to me. I had iced while he had the hot. We were helped by Alisha who was very friendly. Very cozy, classic coffee shop vibe. Pay with cash / zelle / venmo for 5% off! Also free wifi so come here and enjoy some good coffee and desserts to relax or do some work.
September is an adorable cafe with plenty of seating and sweet/savory food options for studying or catching up with friends! The desserts are both made in house, and I'm normally picky about desserts but theirs are light, airy, and not too sweet which I loved. The individual decor on the drinks were the perfect cherry on top. we got their matcha cherry blossom (not too floral), tiramisu coffee (coffee base + cream top) and mango yakult (so refreshing/slightly carbonated). For foods we chose finger foods like the precut cream cheese garlic croissant and bread sticks (ham, cheese, pork belly!) with a crispy exterior. Favorites were the desserts!! I loved the berry choco mousse and passion cheesecake. We also got the oreo and tiramisu bunny since there's a buy 3 get 1 free promo! overall the price is amazing considering everythings made in house, and the staff are so sweet and attentive.
when I say every corner in this place is aesthetic I am not lying. Me and my fiance decided to stop by on a lil lunch date. Service was very nice and friendly, and there was lots of seating room inside. Menu was big with very aesthetically pleasing drinks. We got a biscoff latte and an iced matcha. The drinks came with these cute bear shaped ice cubes on top. we got a sampler platter w/ beef spaghetti, quail eggs, shrimp udon, bulgogi salad & garlic cheese bread & these cute hamster cheesecakes/mousse. Overall I definitely recommend this spot out for a date/study session.
Wow, the two drinks I got were so delicious that I wrote a review right away. I originally just ordered the Tornado Biscoff Latte to go, but they accidentally gave me a watermelon lychee tea too. My husband let them know it was a mistake, but they let us keep it. The Biscoff latte is strong, just how I like my coffee -- not too sweet -- and you can really taste the Biscoff in it. Every sip had yummy chunks of Biscoff. The watermelon lychee tea was also so refreshing and delicious. I would probably ask for it less sweet next time, but the flavor is perfect and captures the fruit flavors beautifully. The service was great, and the ambience is beautiful. There are great photo ops -- some ladies were even taking pictures with the décor.
An adorable cafe nestled in the heart of Westminster! The interior is absolutely adorable! Lots of plants, natural wood, and trendy furniture. There's also plenty of seating for coffee dates and lounging! In the mood for something fresh, I got their Barbie Yakult! Tart, light, and refreshing, this drink ticked off all of my boxes. Also, they have the cutest teddy bear ice molds- 10/10 for presentation!
September Coffee Shop is literally my GO TO spot rn the interior is SO cute and aesthetic, every corner is nice. the seats are comfy and perfect for studying I always get so much done here the vibe is chill but not dead quiet, just right. also the workers are super nice and will adjust drinks however you want which I LOVE overall just a really good place to sit, study, and relax. 10/10 recommend

This place serves more food now which is so great! I came in around Lunch time with 2 of my friends and we had the spicy shrimp udon and their popular breadsticks , and strawberry croffle for dessert! All great, staffs are super friendly! Shop aesthetics were on point--I loved the rustic wood tables! I came with friends to chat, and there were a lot of nooks and corners to socialize in. The menus is very extensive and beuatifully done--it was difficult to decide what to get! I happened to find this cafe on Tiktok the night before my OC trip and I am so glad that my boyfriend and I were able to visit. Immediately, we were welcomed by a friendly face who handed us beautiful menu books. We sat down on one of their beautiful tables that look like a raw wooden slab (beautiful interior design all around!) and looked through all of our options. The menu had pictures of all of the drink and food items which was amazing because there were so many items to choose from! We chose the dragon mango latte and rainbow jasmine milk tea which were perfect for us because they balanced each other. The dragon mango drink was perfectly sweet and refreshing without being too sweet and the milk tea had a strong tea taste balanced by various jellies, which is our favorite kind of milk tea! The baristas were so kind and helpful, and they handed us a sample of a corn snack because we did not order any food items. They went the extra mile! The entire cafe was filled with Halloween decor and I was stunned when I found a moving, talking witch decoration right as I entered the bathroom This establishment is so amazing that I was compelled to write a review almost instantly. Great quality, good quantity, good value. Came here on a recommendation from my girlfriend who saw this place on social media. I was amazed by the atmosphere and design of the cafe when we stepped in. All the drinks on the menu looked absolutely amazing and the aesthetic was cozy and the cafe was filled with not just a younger crowd but a lot of the older local residents. Rainbow Jasmine Milk Tea: This drink is sweet and tasty and has a strong taste of tea. I personally LOVE when milk teas taste like tea because you know they made it well and you're not just drinking sugar milk. The drink also has a ton of yummy add ons like classic boba tapioca pearls and grass jelly cubes. Mango Dragon Latte: This drink is sweet and creamy and includes REAL mango puree. Who would've thought that this would be a great combination. The sweet refreshing dragonfruit drink pairs amazingly with the sweet and tender blended mango. There is also tiny bits of actual dragonfruit which were a fun little nibble. The drinks here are beautiful and creative and have such great presentation. I've been to this place twice in one week lol. So of course I recommend it. I have always had this place on my radar, I ended up in the area and drove past it and decided it was time to try it The first time I came I ended up getting the pineapple passion mojito. The drink didn't come with one of the cute little ice cube bears, so I asked if I could add one. The really nice lady behind the counter suggested the raspberry one or mango. I went with the raspberry one. And then I ordered the pineapple tropical ice cream (you pick two flavors and they have 12 to choose from) They were having a special if you bought a food item (the ice cream counts) with a drink you got 10 percent off. The workers were so friendly and helpful at making suggestions. I even tried to order something with less sugar at first, and they were really helpful with accommodating me. You get a little number for your table and then they bring it out. The place is really clean and a lot of people seemed to be here working and doing homework on their laptops just hanging out. They have really nice seating in the back that is tucked away booth style up against the wall Everything was delicious (obviously, I came back a few days later) The 2nd time I came here for a birthday, I got the birthday girl the ice cream hot pot (you pick 4 ice cream flavors and it comes with fruit and other things to dip into the melted chocolate) I said it was for a birthday and they came out singing and put a candle in it We also got the strawberry mojito and mango passion mojito They do have some little cakes up front at the counter where you order and they do offer some real food but that menu is pretty small and limited. This is mostly a little coffee / tea shop. I stopped by September in Westminster and instantly fell in love. The interior is absolutely stunning (bright, modern, and aesthetically on point.) You can tell they've put thought into every detail. I ordered the crème brûlée iced coffee and wow... they actually torch the cream on top! It added the perfect caramelized touch to an already bold, delicious drink. Sweet, but not overpowering...just beautifully balanced. This spot is definitely a vibe, and the coffee backs it up. So good! Can't wait to come back. read more

Oh my God, I cannot wait to come back and get their other latte, but I'm really really really in love and inspired with their Biscoff Latte . I was in a hurry for an appointment so it was able to order for pick up, but I wish I had time to hang out in the café because they are so beautiful and aesthetic. And the drink is very good. You can adjust sweetness, but I think the coffee itself is already strong so it covers the sweetness from the biscoff. They also have biscoff paste at the bottom of the cup, so don't forget to stir it! read more

Came here to chat and work with my daughter and friend and it was such a vibe! Friday night around 7:30 and it wasn't too packed unlike other cafes which was great, because I was definitely excited to try this place out. I have such a sweet tooth and ordered the tiramisu iced (it wasn't that great to be honest), and my daughter said her Hawaiian smoothie was wayy too sweet. This place is still sooo cute, and they have a HUGE MENU! I wanted to try the mojito mocktails, but I'm a huge coffee head. The service was amazing!l Fast, friendly, and hardworking! I stumbled upon this place with some friends and it was definitely a vibe! Everything was so astoundingly aesthetic! I love interior design and customer service. It was perfect. My friends and I kept saying how it felt as if we were on a getaway trip. We all got a drink of our own, and shared the delicious yummy coconut ice cream (A MUST if you love coconut). Such a cute shop that is sooo aesthetically eye-pleasing with its neutral colored decor. Service: 10/10. Employees were polite, friendly, and welcoming! One of the girls profusely apologized for the delay of my drink even though I didn't mind at all :,) Drinks: Tiramisu coffee - You need to mix everything all together before the first sip to bring all the flavors out! Coffee itself was on the bitter side but once it got mixed with tiramisu on top which was pretty sweet, the whole drink became so perfectly balanced. I came here since I wanted to get a drink. I googled what was around and found this place. I was able to find parking and once inside I saw that it was busy. I was able to order a drink and then go sit down and wait for it. Got my drink quickly. The people were kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more
Cute little coffee shop that also serves ice cream and some food items. The staff were friendly and our coffees and drink were delicious. I am a sucker for tiramisu coffee drinks so if I place has it on their menu I must go try it. I was little scared when it came that it was just black coffee with some cold foam on top; but nope. Once mixed up it was exactly like a tiramisu. If I lived closer to this shop (it's an hour from my house) I'd come often for it. My daughter got the strawberry mojito (no alcohol served here) and my friend got the Vietnamese coffee that came with a little bear or dog ice cube on top. Biggest downfall to this place is the location. It's in a strip mall and parking was crazy. It's a decent size parking lot but it was tight and because of how many businesses are in the strip mall, finding parking isn't easy. We didn't try any of the food or ice creams read more

Been here a few times. It's a nice spot, coffee is STRONG, but my favorite is the Oreo matcha! I recommend mainly going for the drinks as food takes some time. It was a busier day for them, maybe it was just an off day for them with timing, the food still was tasty! Whenever I just got coffee or matcha, possibly a pastry, service is really fast. Staff is always friendly. And the space is beautiful. read more

The interior of September is super gorgeous and inviting! They have a wide selection of drinks from coffee, tea, and fruit focused drinks as well as unique desserts. The pandan bac xiu was great! The pandan flavor was prominent and the coffee jelly was good as well. Only wish was for the coffee to be stronger but that's just my personal preference. read more

I was looking up dessert places after lunch and came across this place. I looked at some pictures on Yelp and knew I had to come here! I'm always up for wonderfully presented drinks & desserts! I was drawn in by the adorable animal shaped ice I saw. I got a cute bear on my drink. The ice cream dishes also were fancied up, they came with an umbrella, cookies, and orchid or some other decoration. Very lovely presentation! I loved the attention to detail! The gals taking & bringing us our order were friendly and polite. We were greeted as soon as we entered. As we walked towards the counter, we were handed menus. We sat at a table and browsed the offerings. When we knew what we wanted, we ordered our items at the counter. She gave us a number & a snack sample. Interesting Fact: I asked one of the workers about the name of the cafe. She said it was the owner's birth month. We decided to get a single and double scoop of ice cream so we could see how they would be served. It cost more than getting a single three scoop size, but it was worth it for the pictures! Both of the ice cream dishes came out on a coaster. The gold spoons were a swanky addition! We chose the Pandan, Ube, and Mango ice cream flavors. The ice cream was good, but not the best I've had. We also got a drink because we wanted a bear ice. We chose the Iced Vietnamese Coffee with Condensed Milk. It was super strong, as it should be!! It came with the adorable little bear sitting on top of the regular ice cubes. I read somewhere that you can request a certain shaped ice for your drink. The drink was served on a coaster. The interior consists of a lot of wood, wicker, and cacti. There are some uniquely shaped, handcrafted wood tables. The height of most of the tables are a little lower than you'd normally sit at. It was challenging that the table was barely higher than the seat. There's free parking out back in the parking lot. Although there is a door back there, it isn't an entrance. You need to walk towards the street (Bolsa Ave) and use that door. There is a restroom available for customers, so that's a plus! I will definitely return to try more drinks and other desserts. I was intrigued with the Ice Cream Hot Pot but I will have to return when I haven't eaten a big lunch! read more

We stopped by on a Sunday night, and luckily it wasn't too busy. I ordered the Tornado Biscoff Latte while my husband got the Oreo Latte. He actually loved his, which says a lot since he's not even a coffee drinker! My latte was delicious as well, and I'd definitely come back for it again. September is such a cute spot for drinks and desserts! It is located in a plaza in Little Saigon with other restaurants and places for drinks. Parking is plentiful here but can be tough during rush hour. My friend and I came here after dinner on a weeknight and it was pretty busy, but luckily, we were able to find a table. The interior is like a desertscape with cacti decor spread around the interior. It's also light and bright, making it a great place to hang out. The menu is pretty big, and there are a lot of options for coffee, tea, and non-caffinated drinks. Some drinks come with a bear made of frozen fruit puree which is an added bonus. My friend ordered a hot Houjicha Latte and I ordered a Mango Dragon Latte with a Raspberry Bear. We placed our order with the cashier and we were given numbers with cute succulent images and quotes on them. The drinks were brought to us. We both enjoyed our drinks, though they are on the sweeter side. The Mango Dragon Latte had fresh mango in it, and the mango was ripe so it was sweet. I couldn't taste the dragonfruit (it doesn't have a strong flavor to begin with), but it made the drink a pretty pink color. The raspberry bear added some raspberry flavor to the drink. Overall, giving September a 4/5. Ambiance is the star of this spot. The drinks are good, but sweeter than preferred. The staff were friendly and service was quick. Maybe next time we can try the desserts. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cute place to hang out. read more

This place is more for the aesthetic than the drinks to be honest, however the service was very good. I got a tiramisu latte, which I didn't end up liking and the workers were nice enough to let me change it for a matcha. 4 stars, because the matcha was really goood and my friend got the coconut latte which was another favorite of ours. read more
