Came by on a late Friday night. Only a few other patrons so we were able to find seating easily. Flipped through their extensive drink menu and decided on the sour sop tea, mango yakult, strawberry mojito (virgin), sea salt coffee, a macaroon, and a mousse cake shaped like a chubby hamster. Drinks came out in decent time and were very refreshing! Definitely enjoyed the sour sop tea the most! Plenty of fruit pieces to munch on after you finish your drink as well. The mousse was okay, but I would order again for just the laughs. There was a cute frozen bear on top of our mango yakult drink, which was a nice touch. Would be a regular stop for me if only we lived closer. There were plenty of food options, but we had just came from dinner so we didn't get to try them out.

This place opens late and has a variety of desserts including ice cream, boba tea and dessert cakes. We got the flan, tiramisu, and mousse cakes since they had a buy 3 get 1 free on their cakes. I met up with a friend here early morning for some coffee and girl chat. It was easy to find there is a huge parking lot with plenty of space for you to park your car. There is also plenty of seating inside. The inside of the café is so beautiful and perfect for photos. It's very modern very shake. Service was great. The front desk and cashier was also very helpful in deciding what drink we should get helping us. Look at the menu and recommending their favorites. Go wrong with the Vietnamese egg coffee, and some chill vibes. Will definitely come back.
This place has been my go to for avocado coffee and Vietnamese Coffee. The owner here is consistently nice and welcoming! Their food options are also great and the ambiance is great however I do no think this the place to relax/study as there are a lot of people that comes here to socialize. I highly recommend for you to try this place.
I'm not sure why but I thought the cafe would be bigger from pictures. That's not a big deal but just thought I'd point it out just in case others would think the same haha. Service: I would rate it a 4/5 and that's the main reason the rating is what it is. At first I spoke Vietnamese to the cashier but she didn't seem to understand so I had to speak in English. Then after I ordered, she talked in Vietnamese to the next customer :') I don't blame her though because perhaps it was on me speaking too low or not pronouncing the name of the food well. She recommended a drink for my mom that she said wasn't sour but it was still very sour for her. She was kind enough to offer to make another one or add in extra sugar. Food: It was okay. The egg cream toast is simple, so hard to mess up. It was alright! Creamy and not too sweet with not too overwhelming of an eggy flavor. Mushroom Carbonara was creamy and pretty good. Probably the best thing we ordered out of the three food items! Banh Mi Que was okay. The shredded pork filling, my mom said wasn't good. The bread on the outside is fine. The ham and cheese was loved by my niece! I'm sure if they had the pork belly, my mom would have liked that one. Drinks: Semi-decent. The sakura blossom latte was more milk than anything. I didn't taste enough of the sakura/cherry blossom flavor. Barbie yakult was good but also average and not wow. If you like flavor then the peach orange lemongrass drink is actually really good. My mom just isn't able to handle sour. Overall, I could have given a lower score as it felt disappointing despite the reviews seeming different. I don't think I'd come here again. I leave it at 4 stars, like I said, mainly because I'm at least thankful they seemed so willing to make things better for our drinks if we were not satisfied.
Sundays call for brunch aaannnddd coffee dates. I've had this spot saved for a while and finally got the chance to check it out. Parking: Free parking lot. There's a small/medium parking lot. Finding a spot can be easy. Ambiance/Environment: The interior is very cute. They have a decent amount of indoor seating. There's a small den with a booth-ish seating. There are regular-height tables and chairs and shorter tables and chairs. It's a studious environment but also a nice spot to hangout. Service: The cashier that assisted me was simply efficient. Throughput was quick after ordering. We only waited about 12 min for everything. Drinks & dessert: The menu can be overwhelming. They offer small bites, desserts, milk teas, coffee, fruit teas, teas, yogurt, blended drinks, etc. Although the photos of the drinks look appealing, the presentation doesn't match. I was told they no longer offer drinks in a glass even if you're dining in. All drinks are in to-go cups. I got the Truffle Coffee, Vietnamese Black Coffee (with no sugar), and Egg Cream Toast. If you prefer your drinks strong and bitter, then the Vietnamese Black Coffee will be perfect for you. The bear on top is absolutely cute. Make sure you drink this properly - always let Vietnamese coffee sit and don't slurp it in two gulps. Hence why there's a lot of ice. The Truffle Coffee tasted exactly as it sounds .. I thought the flavors were okay, but I believe truffle should only stay with savory dishes lol. The egg cream itself was thick and creamy. I was expecting some fancy french toast along side with it, but it's literally just toasted white bread. Pricing: More on the expensive side for coffee in OC. I'd come back to try their other drinks bc they all sound appealing. I wouldn't get the egg cream toast again.
Craving dessert randomly late one Tuesday night and stumbled upon this nice dessert cafe while on the area. It's a nice sized store with plenty of tables inside and some stool seating that faces out to a busy street which is always nice to watch cars drive. The vibe was very chill and mellow at the time i went, great for reading a book or bringing your laptop to study. This place offers a variety of teas, coffees, ice creams, cakes, and croffles on their menu to name a few. I went with a single scoop of their Pandan Ice Cream which costs $5.50, but you get 5% off if you pay by cash or venmo. The service was very quick and the server who brought my ice cream out to my table was friendly. The single scoop was a generous portion and it came with oreos which was a nice surprise. The flavor was right on point, not too sweet, but you can still taste the pandan in each bite. I'll have to come back next time to try their other desserts!

Came here with my dad for some coffee after lunch on his recommendation. Now my dad is very hard to please when it comes to food and drink - particularly Vietnamese coffee. He spoke very highly of this place which is all but a guaranty of quality. Sure enough, I was very satisfied with the coffee, it's on the stronger side which is perfect to me. I had iced while he had the hot. We were helped by Alisha who was very friendly. Very cozy, classic coffee shop vibe. Pay with cash / zelle / venmo for 5% off! September is an adorable cafe with plenty of seating and sweet/savory food options for studying or catching up with friends! The desserts are both made in house, and I'm normally picky about desserts but theirs are light, airy, and not too sweet which I loved. The individual decor on the drinks were the perfect cherry on top. we got their matcha cherry blossom (not too floral), tiramisu coffee (coffee base + cream top) and mango yakult (so refreshing/slightly carbonated). For foods we chose finger foods like the precut cream cheese garlic croissant and bread sticks (ham, cheese, pork belly!) with a crispy exterior. Favorites were the desserts!! I loved the berry choco mousse and passion cheesecake. We also got the oreo and tiramisu bunny since there's a buy 3 get 1 free promo! overall the price is amazing considering everythings made in house, and the staff are so sweet and attentive.

The interior of September is super gorgeous and inviting! They have a wide selection of drinks from coffee, tea, and fruit focused drinks as well as unique desserts. The pandan bac xiu was great! The pandan flavor was prominent and the coffee jelly was good as well. Only wish was for the coffee to be stronger but that's just my personal preference. read more

Been here a few times. It's a nice spot, coffee is STRONG, but my favorite is the Oreo matcha! I recommend mainly going for the drinks as food takes some time. It was a busier day for them, maybe it was just an off day for them with timing, the food still was tasty! Whenever I just got coffee or matcha, possibly a pastry, service is really fast. Staff is always friendly. And the space is beautiful. read more

We stopped by on a Sunday night, and luckily it wasn't too busy. I ordered the Tornado Biscoff Latte while my husband got the Oreo Latte. He actually loved his, which says a lot since he's not even a coffee drinker! My latte was delicious as well, and I'd definitely come back for it again. September is such a cute spot for drinks and desserts! It is located in a plaza in Little Saigon with other restaurants and places for drinks. Parking is plentiful here but can be tough during rush hour. My friend and I came here after dinner on a weeknight and it was pretty busy, but luckily, we were able to find a table. The interior is like a desertscape with cacti decor spread around the interior. It's also light and bright, making it a great place to hang out. The menu is pretty big, and there are a lot of options for coffee, tea, and non-caffinated drinks. Some drinks come with a bear made of frozen fruit puree which is an added bonus. My friend ordered a hot Houjicha Latte and I ordered a Mango Dragon Latte with a Raspberry Bear. We placed our order with the cashier and we were given numbers with cute succulent images and quotes on them. The drinks were brought to us. We both enjoyed our drinks, though they are on the sweeter side. The Mango Dragon Latte had fresh mango in it, and the mango was ripe so it was sweet. I couldn't taste the dragonfruit (it doesn't have a strong flavor to begin with), but it made the drink a pretty pink color. The raspberry bear added some raspberry flavor to the drink. Overall, giving September a 4/5. Ambiance is the star of this spot. The drinks are good, but sweeter than preferred. The staff were friendly and service was quick. Maybe next time we can try the desserts. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cute place to hang out. read more

This place is more for the aesthetic than the drinks to be honest, however the service was very good. I got a tiramisu latte, which I didn't end up liking and the workers were nice enough to let me change it for a matcha. 4 stars, because the matcha was really goood and my friend got the coconut latte which was another favorite of ours. read more

One of the few dessert places in the area that's open somewhat later. It's located in a shopping plaza where I have seen the parking get absolutely fisted during the day time, but since we came here with like 40 minutes before closing, there was plenty of parking. September was quite busy when we went with lots of families and groups taking up most of the seating and tables (we managed to get our own though). They have ice cream, coffee, teas, slushes, pastries, cakes, and some sweets that were pre-made out front to purchase. No surprise that they're also the same dessert makers as the Vintage 1979. Very aesthetically pleasing sweet treats. You order and pay at the cashier and they give you a cute, punny cactus number sign so they know to bring your sweets to you. Service was friendly and very welcoming. I got the: 1) Caramelized Coconut Ice Cream: -I believe it's vanilla ice cream with caramelized coconut shavings encasing the scoops. -It comes out on a coconut shell with ice in the bottom to keep your dessert cool and there's condensed milk you can drizzle on top for an extra sweet kick. -You can either eat the ice cream with the cute mini gold spoons provided or you can just pick them up with the impaled popsicle sticks and enjoy it like a lollipop. -Yummy and unique in its presentation. Not too crazy of a dessert either. 2) Barbie Yakult: -This is a Yakult drink with strawberry jam puree and a strawberry bear that melts into your drink. -I really should have asked if this came with adjustments because it was WAY too sweet for me and I had to take it home the next day, wait for the ice to melt, and then semi-dilute it with water since it was so sweet. -Cute for sure, but I'd try something else next time or at least ask for adjustments. The good: I tried a hot egg coffee, the yogurt drink with the frozen Berry bear, coffee mousse cake, coconut Frappuccino, and coconut ice cream. It was all visually dreamy and the flavor delivered as well! The interior was very trendy with a little nook in the front, lounge areas, small tables, and picture-worthy decor. I loved how the juice ice cube bear was covering its eyes. The coconut ice cream came in a coconut shell and had toasted coconut flakes on top. The coconut coffee had coconut icy with coffee poured over. The coffee mousse cake was beautiful! I loved all of the flavor options and its huge menu. The bad: There's no outdoor seating (that I am aware of) unless it was just because it was a rainy day that they put seats away. I don't think there was a baby changing table. The yogurt drink was sweeter than I'd like but it was a hit with my kiddo. The parking lot can get pretty crowded. Visited September after seeing it on Instagram and realized when I got there that it's the same owner as the Vintage 1979. It's located in the plaza right next to Da Vien. I must say, the bac xiu was really good. It's cool that they use reusable cups rather than wasting plastic. I don't know how I feel about the fancy menus, because they do get a bit dirty and I'm a bit of a germaphobe. I'd rather read one on the wall like most drink shops. It's definitely pretty pricey and I noticed some of the macarons they sell (possibly just a valentine's day special?) were from Costco which felt a little scummy. The store is beautiful but can get really loud with the people and the music. My noise cancelling headphones weren't enough so I'm not sure if this would be the best place to study. read more

Came back for some ice cream and nice place to chat and escape from the CA heat love the variety of ice cream flavors though they are a bit on the sweeter side (but super creamy and all flavors were super strong). Tried the almond jasmine tea with 50% sugar. I personally am not a fan of almond extract flavoring so didn't really vibe with the drink. But overall refreshing and perfectly sweetened! Beautiful interior and great cafe to relax, hangout with friends, or do some work but the drinks were mediocre. I ordered the Watermelon Lychee and it looked so refreshing but it was pretty generic. I got the mango boba thinking it would be traditional tapioca that is manga flavored but it was a mango crystal boba - ew! There are plenty of parking spaces, but getting in and out of this lot is very difficult due to traffic. Inside, they have plenty of seats/tables, but may be difficult finding a spot due to how packed it is. I ordered the Matcha Latte, which comes with a Matcha bear. If you want to add a bear to a drink, you can add it also if it normally doesn't come with one. The drink was very matcha-y, but delicious! The bear made the drink look so adorable as well. A very cute and nicely decorated coffee/dessert shop. Come here to satisfy your sweet tooth and chill with friends. They have some food options but I wouldn't say I'd ever come here to eat. Tbh there isn't anything too special about the drinks either and I probably wouldn't come here at all if I wasn't eating at the restaurants nearby. Got the sea salt coffee since it was one of their most popular items and it certainly did not disappoint! Complimented by the space's aesthetic and calming feel, it is the perfect place to get some work and studying done or catch up with friends over some amazing drinks. Notably, the sea salt coffee had the darkest, deepest coffee I've had in a coffee made in this style, with a much more bitter forward flavor profile and for someone like me who likes things sweet, it was quite overpowering but as the drink sat awhile and as I stirred in the top layer of cream, it became much sweeter and balanced itself out. Would definitely recommend giving the coffee itself a try before mixing in the cream layer. We got the Mango Macchiato, Strawberry matcha and the Ube French toast and all of them were yummy. The Mango Macchiato was super refreshing and the strawberry matcha was a good blend of both flavors. Nice cafe with plenty of parking and a big selection of drinks. The selection of dessert is little though, only ice cream. The coconut ice cream was just alright, nothing special. I'm not sure what's "caramelized' about it. The ube latte was rich, thick, and heavy with ube puree. It is actually a full meal too of just how filling it was Overall the service is very nice although the staff forgot to bring us one extra spoon. If you're in OC and want excellent drinks and dessert, then make a note to visit September! The inside of this place is beautifully decorated, and they put a lot of effort into making their drinks and desserts photo friendly. For our visit, my daughter ordered the Matcha Latte, which came with a super cute frozen matcha bear. Take photos first, because you'll want to drown the bear to get the full flavor of the drink! If you like black sesame like I do, then I recommend the Black Sesame Coffee Latte. The freshly ground black sesame is really fragrant and the sea salt foam gives it a nice contrast in flavor. The Sweet Purple Potato Latte was just OK for me, only because I'm not a fan of potatoes (unless they're french fries!!). Boyfriend liked it, because he likes purple sweet potatoes. We loved the Caramelized Coconut Ice Cream! The serving came in 3 lollipops, which was perfect for the 3 of us. The caramelized condensed milk drizzled over the lollipops were heavenly... Our server was very sweet and polite. We ordered and paid at the counter, and everything was delivered to our table. read more

When you go in the environment and atmosphere of this place is amazing. Love the interior but not only that the lady who took my order was super understanding and nice because my older sister was very indecisive about what drink she wanted. NO EXTRA CHARGE ON NON-DAIRY MILKS! Omg I love that so much it should be a law. This place gets more points just for that! The coffee here is super strong so just a heads up for people who like their sugary lattes maybe ask for extra syrups/sweeteners. Other the. That great service, drinks were good though I will be trying another drink since there are so much on the menu! A great place to get a drink/snack & meet up with a friend/family member/co-worker anyone! They open till 10pm too which is great for people who need coffee after 5pm! read more

Everything looks so cute and delicious. I want to go back and try additional treats. The sweet potato latte has chunks of real sweet potato on the bottom. (The purple kind). Flavor is good, but texture is a bit thick, hard to mix, a lot of ice and pricey. The matcha latte comes with a teddy bear on top. Appears to be made out of frozen matcha. Tastes pretty good, but too much ice. Only a little bit of drink. I had to try the little tirmisu mousse bunny. Its so cute. And tastes pretty good. Has all the flavors of tiramisu without you having to worry about inhaling espresso powder. Would buy again. read more

The restaurant has a fairly large space because it has three sides that can look outside. They have 2 entrances in the front and back, in addition, they designed the side with glass that can look out to the parking area, making the restaurant space have many directions to receive natural light as well as bright. In the menu, they have a lot of diverse drinks and foods, which can serve different needs such as breakfast, main meals or snacks, desserts. I tried taro ice cream, it has a strong taro flavor and is not too sweet. I drank man cau juice, although the man cau pieces I felt were like the canned kind. But the overall taste is okay. Not too sweet, still has a bit of green tea freshness. The service here is cheerful and smiling with me. After ordering, they even brought it to the table. The service is fast and friendly. If I have another chance to go out with friends, I will return to this restaurant. read more

Cute decoration. Friendly Service. Poor internet connection. It's exciting to see more cute coffee shops coming to OC. I was actually here one Saturday morning sometime in November, but for some reason the shop wasn't opened even though it was during store hours. The menu was huge, and I ended up ordering the Tornado Bischoff Latte with Coffee Bear. The Tornado Bischoff Latte already contains caffeine by default, but if you wish to taste more coffee than definitely add the Coffee Bear. Even with the coffee bear, my drink still ended up on the sweeter side. I would recommend ordering at less sweet unless you have a super sweet tooth (or if you love Bischoff). The tables here are all pretty low. It would not be ideal for studying or working. However, this would make a great spot for a chitchat gathering. read more

When I think of the cutest place for a coffee date, September instantly comes to mind. The interior has the cutest modern woodsy vibes, particularly during Christmas (they have a huge tree). Seating can be rough since this place is so popular, and tables are low so I wouldn't recommend for doing homework but great for chatting. Service is super fast despite the lines. It's particularly busy on weekends but I came on a Friday around 9:30am and it was pretty empty. Now for the drinks. Here are some that I've tried: - ube cloud coffee: super sweet, mild flavor. A bit too sugary but amazing flavor - hot houjicha latte: earthy, toasted flavor and adjustable sweetness. Amazing for a lower caffeine option - egg coffee: If you get it for here, they bring it on a tray with a tea light underneath to keep it hot. Sweet and rich. AMAZING. A bit on the small side - Herbal tea (idk the name): mild flavor and they add in Chinese apples along with some other dried fruits. Fanciest herbal tea I've ever had - Aurora lemonade: yummy but not particularly special flavor, quite sweet and not very tart - matcha latte: a classic, not very strong matcha taste, comes with a tiny little matcha ice bear :) - pandan bac xiu: a white coffee drink. Came here on a late Sunday afternoon to catch up with a friend and nearly every table was taken. We did find one table open, but we made the mistake of going to the counter to order together and another party came and took our spot. Luckily another table became available at the exact same time so we snagged it. So here's a tip-always leave one person at the table! I hadn't planned on leaving a review but after one sip of the black sesame cream latte and one bite of the durian mousse cake, I decided to snap a pic to post this review! The latte was smooth and creamy with the black sesame paste smeared to the bottom of the cup. It wasn't too sweet and more you scrape it and mix it to the drink the better it tastes. The durian mousse cake did not smell like durian at all but it had the full durian flavor from the initial bite. Very nicely presented. It's conveniently located in the same plaza as one of my favorite restaurants so I will be back again. read more

This place is very aesthetically pleasing! There is a good amount of seating so it's perfect to come hangout with family and friends. I came right when they opened on a Sunday morning and it was empty. The employees were very friendly and the service was fast. There is an extensive menu of different coffees, teas, and desserts. This review is solely based on the coffee since that is all I tried. I definitely want to go back and try their desserts. Tiramisu Coffee - 4/5 It's definitely on the sweeter side. A little too sweet for my liking but still delicious and very creamy. Vietnamese Condensed Milk Coffee - 3/5 Taste was okay. Honestly wasn't anything special in my opinion. I went 23 days ago (and left a review) and they still had it then! It was about $30, I believe.
Do you use any peanuts/peanut products in your drinks/food?
We are a peanut free cafe. However we do have almond, so almond was processed in the same facility as peanut.
Good place for studying? Any plugs?
There's a lot of seating that would be great for studying but there are not many outlets.
