Very friendly owner and daughter running one of the last billiard supply and repair shops in Bay Area. I've brought cues for tip changes and played many hours on four of their reclothed tables located at different senior centers. Great job. They have a small table to try out a cue you might be interested in buying. My only gripe is I wish the had more selection, from $200-$800 range. In recovering from my home remodel, I used my basement used for storage, I had to relocate my Brunswick GC3 table (I am the original owner of the table) several times in my basement to accommodate furniture, etc. The table needed a tuned-up: also replace to Super Speed Coushins, reduce the pockets to 4.5 inches, replaced old/new Simonis 860, changed tips on (2) shafts to Kamui Black "S". Sequoia has been there for the past 35/40 years for me since I moved into this home. I came in to get a cue tip replaced. It was a pretty new Kamui tip (which cost around $27 just for the tip) and it had a lot of life still in it so I hated to spend the cash on a new tip. Rafael was able to glue it back on (not the easiest thing to do while keeping it perfectly centered). It's perfect, and he did it for no charge. I'm not certain he wants to do this as a matter of habit for everybody in the Bay Area, but I totally appreciate that he helped me out! He has a great shop, and he and his daughter are both knowledgeable, super nice and always helpful. Oh yeah, it's also true that I said to Rafael, "I SO wish I had room for a pool table." Called yesterday about a cue tip repair. Lady on the phone said that repair person would not be in till 4:30. I came in about 4:45 and the repair guy or owner did not seem notified that I was coming. Sequoia Billiard Supply and it's team is Amazing! I have been is search for a Gold Crown for a while and found one for a decent price in Livermore. I needed to have it moved from Livermore to San Bruno and Called Sequoia Billiard Supply. The table was in bad shape and after doing research I new exactly what I needed done (list below) to bring it back to life. I spoke with Rafael we were able to map a plan of action and I was excited to for the restoration project to begin. There was a slight issue with the available pick up date with the previous owner and Rafael was kind enough to pick it up on a Saturday (they do not usually do pick up's on the Weekend). Once Rafael had the table and was able to work on it he had it done and installed before the deadline. They are truly professionals and I am glad that they are still around. We had a, major fire at our house and our billards table was damaged. Sequoia Billards Supply Company was able to remove the old felt and replace it with new felt. There were also several marks on the wood parts of the table itself and this Co, did a great job in re-covering it in the exact color we wanted. In addition, they stored it in their warehouse for a reasonable monthly fee. And the entire cost, from pick up of table to delivery of table, their actual work to repair the table, storage fees, and delivery of our table was very affordable. We highly recommend this company and its employees. They were understanding of what we wanted, did an amazing job with the new felt, and stored it for us while our house was being rebuilt. Recently did DIY recover on 3'1/2 x 7' Valley coin op table. Pre-cut w/ cushion felt also. Disassemble & install new bed cloth went good. put new rail cloth on,YouTube helps a lot but when it came time to close the ends of the cloth on the rails that's another story, spent quite awhile folding stapling & cutting,removing over & over.finally called Seqouia Biilliards spoke w/ Rafael regarding my problem, I brought them to the shop he did them right there while I waited.
