Truly disappointed to rate them poorly. I ordered a double meat cheeseburger with all the fixings. I didn't order how the meat would be cooked (I prefer MR) and wasn't asked --- which I expect and fine with for drive-up burgers. Oh boy where do I begin. Went to get burgers for my grandbabies and I think this is the worst experience I have ever had at the place. I have been coming here since the 80"s. I ordered 3 Kids hamburger meals and when I got home the burgers were dried out and the buns were stale. I ordered them with pickles on and of course there were none. I am not sure why this place has gone down hill. Let's get to the part where I don't know if I will ever come back..... There was a man in the back not sure if he was the owner/managers but he was back there yelling at the kids working. Very un-professional. I could hear ever word he was saying. Not a good example or experience for a new or old customer. If I were any of those kids I would have walked out off the job after being verbally abused and cussed at. You walk in and you smell the smell of fresh fries and burgers from the back. The shop itself is in a good spot with a store next to it, for anything you need. They are fast especially if you order over the phone first. The shop is nice with one location, so it's local to Sebastopol. They have a nice place with tables and chairs. read more

I ordered the Redwood Burger. It was decent flavor and normal burger size...not as huge as Superburger or Mike's at the Crossroads which was fine by me. The bun was soft and held the contents without things slipping out. The French Fries had a ginormous portion. The fries were not very good because they were undercooked. A longtime Sebastopol staple. I was in town and craving the nostalgia. The "hole in the wall" right off the highway hasn't change a bit in decades and has that small town feel. They are best known for their fresh cut fries and they sure are delicious! The small size could feed an army. Haven't been here in years. Now I remember why. I ordered the burger with 1,000 island dressing and an order of onion rings. The burger was a joke no taste, the onion rings were just frozen rings. They defrosted them from the heat of the deep frier. They empty them in to the basket above frier and the heat defrosts them. They were worse then jack in the box's rings. We visited this place with my friends and it was very unique the fries we gigantic two orders feed six hungry people and about or more. The chicken teriyaki patties are on the small side but very good tasting, I would lean more towards a meat burger next time I come back. The milk shakes are pretty good. Oh how the mighty have fallen. I've been going to sequoia burger for almost 4 decades. It was always a favorite place that my dad would take me after he got off work. I will have to say that over the last couple years the quality of the burgers has gone down. The fries are definitely changed in that they are just kind of middle of the road now.
