The bun was soft and held the contents without things slipping out. The French Fries had a ginormous portion. The fries were not very good because they were undercooked. I used to come here all the time for a good "hangover cure", because everything had the right amount of grease to cure it. But since I don't live near there anymore, I hadn't been there in probably 4 years. I am pleasantly surprised that the Burgers were still really good!! The onion rings and milk shakes were great too! Haven't been here in years. Now I remember why. I ordered the burger with 1,000 island dressing and an order of onion rings. The burger was a joke no taste, the onion rings were just frozen rings. They defrosted them from the heat of the deep frier. They empty them in to the basket above frier and the heat defrosts them. They were worse then jack in the box's rings. I will have to say that over the last couple years the quality of the burgers has gone down. The fries are definitely changed in that they are just kind of middle of the road now. Onion rrings were good. I had my kids there and they felt the same way about the burger. I don't think I raised burgers snobs, but from the mouths of babes comes the truth. Mind you they weren't terrible burgers, they just weren't up to par with the "best of Sonoma County" award on the wall I think the saddest part now is the service. The staff just kind of acted like they didn't care if you were there or not. While standing there waiting for my order I heard the excuse "my boss won't let us do that"three times to customers.
