Didn't feel like cooking or fighting the day after Christmas traffic, so we ordered this from Uber Eats. I picked the Chicago Pastrami while my wife picked the French Dip. Mine was messy (meaning that I needed 10 napkins and to be hosed off afterwards), but very good. The combination of bread, pastrami, pickles and mustard was perfect. However, as usual, my wife picked the better sandwich. The French Dip was incredible! The roast beef was sliced super thin and lean with great flavor. They have many options of sandwiches from hot to cold to vegan to special diets. I personally love hot sandwiches so I ordered the Turkey Bacon Melt sandwich which was delicious. My family ordered the BBQ TriTip and the Monterey Chicken Club. The BBQ TriTip was simple and contained alot of pepper, The Monterey chicken club on the other hand was tasty. COVID-19 My mother called in the order. She ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich with no mayo or bacon and a southwestern chicken sandwich with no mayo or honey mustard. The worker was nice and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. We went to get it. The workers were masked. The inside was clean and they had outside seating. The order was ready upon arrival. Workers were nice. My BBQ chicken sandwich without bacon was delicious! The pepper jack added a nice spicy kick! My mother had the southwestern and said it tasted okay. Nothing special to her! When eating in person, the staff has always been friendly and the tables clean. The restaurant itself has a good vibe but if you're eating with more than 4 people, prepare to split up at various tables. Overall, I have nothing really bad to say about this place. Maybe they had a bad day. We won't go back. We have two different Subways in Clovis nearer us, and both offer better food and service for half the price. I have already posted before how they mess up my take out order almost every time. I have called them to ask to refund the money for one of the sandwiches of my $80 bill. I have literally been waiting 4 1/2 weeks and called on at least 4 to 5 occasions to speak with the manager about this. There is always an excuse that he only comes in on Tuesdays or he only comes in on Wednesdays. Then I'm told it will take five days from the time he makes the adjustment until the time it posts on my account. I don't believe it anymore. They will never refund my money. It's not worth the headache to get a hold of the lazy manager. The quality of food has gone down at this place too. If you order a French dip sandwich you are lucky to get enough meat to fill half of the French roll. It is literally rolled up meat and just placed on one side of the bread. Most of that meal is dunking bread in Ajou and getting very little meat. Same for the turkey dip. There are just too many really good restaurants to choose from to settle for this place. This is not a good choice. If you do go you risk not getting what you ordered and not getting your money back. The price you pay at this restaurant is not worth the poor quality of food you will get. I believe something has seriously changed at this place to make it so bad. My guess would be the management. read more

Club Deluxe is what I specifically ate and wow huge portion of meat on the sandwich with fresh ciabatta. Yumm Yumm! From ordering our food to then sitting down and having our food brought to our table, it was a great atmosphere inside this sandwich shop. At over $13, this sandwich just was not worth it and should have been about 8 bucks. This hot beef, Ortega sandwich seemed less substantial than in the past when I bought it. It wasn't nearly as hot as it should have been. Although I like the food here, it's time to try something different. It was if they had a new person making sandwiches and the old person, who made them perfectly, had moved on... It made a difference. Service is good although the parking lot gets really crowded. You can just sense hungry people competing for parking spaces as the smells from all the restaurants breeze over the parking lot. Expect for a soggy bread and be careful while eating it, it can be messy. If you like a sandwich which is salty yet bland due to a lot butter, then the southwestern tri-tip is your type of sandwich.
