Was here for the first time today. When you walk in the shop is clean and very well kept and I love the art painting on the ceiling very nice. I didn't have to wait long and although I only got a pedicure I was quite pleased with the results. The pricing is more than what I am accustomed to in Orange County but i guess it's worth it to pay a little more for quality work. read more

They were clean inside, otherwise it would be a 1 Star. Technician cut my big toe and said nothing about it during the pedicure, and did nothing to fix the bleeding. Then during the manicure, she poured alcohol all over my entire hands, burning the noticeable psoriasis with a chemical that should have only touched my nails. Then, to top off my lovey experience, they refused to accept American Express despite not ONE sign saying they were cash only or only accepted specific cards. I will never go back or recommend. My first love! This has been the only nail shop I have tried so far that just never disappoints. I use to come here more frequently when I lived in the area. But a trip here is worth the trip! So much precision, time, and effort put in to perfecting my nails! A wonderful choice of colors and they use the OPI led dryer for gels, which is so fast and reduces chipping and cracking that I have experienced from previous nail shops. The salon itself is clean and beautiful. Just sit back in one of their extremely cozy chairs and look up. They have some beautiful art on the ceiling!! It took me a few times to catch it. They also leave the door open so there is a nice breeze coming in. All around I love my experience each time! Customer service is great and there is no chitter chatter back and forth with the nail techs that typically happens. Prices are reasonable. For just under $30 they'll clean off your old gel manicure and give you a new fresh coat. I love them! I don't think I'll be going anywhere else anymore. Thanks ladies and gentlemen! read more

I live around 5 minutes always walking distance from this location and have gone to Serenity for about a year now. I LOVE them. I've tried other nail salons and always end up dissatisfied but I've always had an amazing experience at Serenity. This time I got Ray who did an ombré full set for me and I will be asking for him again! He was extremely courteous, asked me if I wanted something to drink, made light conversation, saw the picture I was referencing, and made sure I was happy with what he was doing (he's also good looking and funny so that's always a plus when you have to sit in a chair in front of someone for a while! I know he reads these and will get a kick out of that). But in all honesty, Serenity is a great nail salon and I have never had an issue with pricing or results. Highly recommend any of the talented nail artists but definitely ask for Ray if you get a chance! read more

Being new to the gel life, my friend recommended this place - she loves Tracy. I can see why, she is thorough and great at chrome art. Tracy was busy and so they suggested Andy and he hooked it up! Only guy in the place, he took his time, was very gentle with filing and cuticle cutting. He switched gears happily when I didn't like the first color, he did a great job with chrome AND he was quiet which I appreciated as it was early and I was hung over ;). WORTH A READ. I just had the WORST experience at Serenity. For some back story, I have been going here for 6+ months and have always have Elaine as my nail tech (she is amazing!). Today, she was unavailable so Jenny did my nails. It went really well at first. We were both very friendly and nice to each other in the beginning. I even gave her multiple compliments on how I loved the shape and that she did a great job. But that's where the positive experience ended. JENNY was so unbelievable rude to me. I asked for a French tip almond shape nail. The tips were very uneven and messy so I asked her politely to make them even and clean up the nail a little. She wasn't understanding that the tips were messy and uneven so I just asked her to do all nude instead since I thought it would be easier for everyone. It was clear that she was talking shit with the person next to her. She literally said to me "I just told him never in my 7 years have I had someone complain about my work." It made me so uncomfortable. I said to her "I wasn't complaining, I just wanted the tips more even." As she was finishing up and about to begin the gel clear top coat, the nails still had white polish and my natural nail was peaking through so I asked her to fix that before the top coat. She began to get my frustrated and SLAM the polish brush into the bottle. At this point, I was done and just waited for it to be over. As I was leaving, I let the guy at the front desk know what had happened. His only response was "we'll get you another tech next time." There will NOT be a next time. I am so beyond myself that I was treated SO poorly in a nail salon that I have had nothing but good experiences with in the past. Elaine is a rockstar but the behavior of Jenny is just unacceptable in my book. I still tipped her because I'm a good person but she definitely didn't deserve it. read more

The services I had were a basic pedicure (19), gel manicure (29) and an eyebrow wax(9). My total was $57 which I find totally affordable, especially when you're happy with the service. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to while working. I love the color and the quality of my nails. The salon itself is nicely decorated and clean which is so important. Don't waste your time or money here. This place is right by my house which is the only reason I've been here a few times. This will be my last. I walked in at 4:00 pm on a Sunday and was told they would seat me in 15 minutes (for a pedicure only). 30 minutes later I asked how much longer they would be and sat me 10 minutes after that. My nail technician was awful. She made me bleed from digging one of those metal nail instruments into the side of my big toe, and took FOREVER polishing my toes. The color was uneven and looked like a child polished my toes. I asked her to add another coat so all my toes would look even and she seemed annoyed. Got a mani/pedicure and treated my husband to a pedi - paid $136 for "The Royal" which includes removing calluses because summer sandals and working 12 hour shifts sometimes requires this treatment...the paraffin wax treatment made my feet extra soft but once that wore off later that day I could see that the tech definitely did not remove any callus and made my feet feel extremely rough. I am annoyed that I paid so much and definitely did not get the Royal treatment, and recommend no one go there. read more

Service was good...came in a Tuesday evening and it wasn't busy. Got a mani/delux pedi with design ($51total). Initial encounter: ladies are very nice and polite. Greeted me upon entry as well as those that came in after me. Cleanliness: They use plastic bags in the basin instead of constantly having to clean after each client. A plus in my book. Service: The massage was mediocre and the design is not consistent. One tech was able to do more than just flowers but seemed to not take much pride in artistry. Overall views: decent place but my search continues for a consistant afforadable nail salon. I have only 3 stars for new. Maybe if I try again the experience will be better. We'll see. read more

I had friend recommend this place years ago and finally went today for a pedicure. They had a nice set up outside for COVID. I decided to get the Serenity pedicure that said was 65 minutes long for $50. Jenny did my pedicure and it lasted 35 minutes total! (From time it started to putting my sandals on after nails were painted). That was very disappointing. I decided to let it go for a couple reasons, I was afraid to lean back in the chair as I thought I would fall over so I was uncomfortable and it was getting pretty warm outside so I just wanted it be done. But I don't feel I got my monies worth at all especially when it said it included 15 massage and that didn't happen. Very disappointing. 30 minutes less is a big difference when I paid for a 65 minute pedicure. Maybe if I had paid less, I wouldn't mind, but $50 plus tip is a lot for a pedicure IMO. read more

1st off, the water was freezing cold that they put my hand to soak in...who does that? Every other manicure that I've gotten has been warm water. 2nd, the ambiance was terrible. No music, just the sound of the guy (manager) watching TV with his headphones and laughing and the sound of the woman doing my nails coughing and hacking who was clearly very sick as she did my manicure (I'm sure I will catch her terrible cold & cough thank you!) I specifically was there to clean up my nails. I'd tried to remove dark nail polish & it was still visible and my nails were dirty. When she was done, my nails were still very dirty! I realized I'd just paid someone to do something I could've done a better job on myself! unfortunately the staff here don't realize that people get their nails done for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Not only did my nails look crappy, she rushed through the arm massage and it was not enjoyable in the least.Then the other lady took her time finishing her cellphone call while I was waiting for my eyebrow wax. I told them I was unhappy and they still charged me. Next, they forced me to add my tip on before running my card, and it was awkward to have the girl say, "how much you tipping?", to which I replied, " the credit card receipt doesn't have a tip line?" Mine took two hours to dry completely and it bubbled. My mom went with me and it was the same for hers but worse. This was my first visit to this nail salon and will be my last! I've never felt inclined to write a review and this is my first Yelp review ever and I've had my account for years! This shows just how bad my mother and my service was today! So we had an appointment today. My mom just needed a fill and I was just getting my normal gel mani. When we first walked in I didn't like how we were greeted and how scary and dumbfounded they were acting towards us. We simply stated we had 2 appointments but nobody acted like they could comprehend that and just said "you have an appointment" when we already stated that. When my mom made the appointment she spoke with Dawn and didn't make the appointment with nobody in particular because we never went there before and didn't know who to pick anyway. So since they were confused for whatever reason, we just started looking at what colors we may be interested in. They said Dawn was on her way but we were unaware Dawn was doing our nails since we didn't have a specific person. When Dawn got there she looked lost but was the nicest of them all. She was also 20 min late, since we had an appointment with her that we didn't know about! Dawn called my mom over to her station then started her nails. After Nicole got done with a lady's pedi, Dawn told me that Nicole was ready for me. Nicole never spoke to me, just asked me what color I wanted, and then I asked Dawn what color it was that I chose, and then she told Nicole. I requested to get my cuticles trimmed which was the biggest mistake aside from stepping foot in this salon in the first place. The cuticle trimming seemed to had been going well but then when she got to the last finger which was my left thumb, she clipped a chunk of my skin out with the nail nippers. She put her thumb over it once she realized I was bleeding, then put alcohol on it, then when she saw it wouldn't stop bleeding, she then proceeds to put freaking ACETONE on my wound, and obviously it burned like hell!! I couldn't believe it and should have walked out but I tried to get through it. She never apologized for hurting me and making me bleed!! She kept making mistakes with the gel, she tried to clean up the mistakes but seemed to only make it worse where she had to keep going over her mistakes over and over again. She clearly didn't want to service me and had no clue what she was doing. Then at the end when she put the top coat on, she saw some more mistakes then put color over the clear gel top coat. Ok..what the hell?!! So since she did that, she had to put more top coat over that color, my nails started getting thicker and thicker, and my hands started burning from the UV lamp from having to put my hands in there repeatedly. My end result was a painful lumpy bumpy uneven (both nails and gel polish, she filed the nails crooked and applied the gel thick and uneven), streaky mess. My nails had either bubbles or debris (lumps) in the gel and it's not as shiny as it should be. Just horrible! She also never would acknowledge or answer any of my questions. So there was either a language barrier or she didn't want to be bothered with me period. We are never going back and would recommend nobody going here! I'm going to try to upload some pics of my wound, horribly trimmed cuticles with flaky skin still left over, and overall horrible nail job. Hate to say but it was the worst pedicure I've ever had. The manager did try to fix it but even her paint job is messed up. The nail tech I had barely spoke English and acted like she understood me when she didn't. She ended up redoing my nails maybe 4 times due to not understanding or messing them up and having to fix them. All I wanted was an American style pedicure which they couldn't do in shellac so I said I would do French white tips and find a pale pink to go over it. I even showed a picture a few times to multiple people working there. The callous scrubbing was horrible to, barely scrubbed I left with the skin I came in with. Being a mom of 2 with one a newborn and never having the chance to get my nails done (maybe once a year if lucky) it's very disappointing. Lucky for me today work closed early so I had extra time. I went in wanting shellac pedicure and shellac manicure and walked out over an hour and half later with no manicure and not a shellac pedicure and the worst paint job I've ever had. I wish I hadn't paid or given a tip but I needed to pick up my kids from day care and was so frustrated by the waste of time that I just wanted to get out of there. I should have also looked closer at my nails and refused. And I don't have the time this weekend to even go back to get them to redo it if I wanted. The manager did give me a coupon off a manicure (for a few dollars) but basically it was a $1 cheaper than what they advertise on the banner outside. Sadly too I was hoping to find a neighborhood spot to have to go to when I can go, this is not it. UPDATE- I cane here on a monday about 11:30-12:00 I was highly dissapointed. They were packed so naturally i aske if they had time to see me. They said yes, right away. I waited a few minutes but not long. The young girl filled the tank with cold wate. She was more concerned abou t upselling a pedicure rather than making sure i was taken care of. When i was done i paid her. Gave her the tip and she left ke there for 20 minutes. I left on my own. And my pedicure. Lwta just say it was dissapointing. My bestie calls and says she has a new shop for us to try. My first though was no way I love where we go now. But I gave in. We didn't have a appointment, and we weren't sure idle that was a good idea or not. When we got there it was about 4 pm on a Wednesday and they did have a few people in there having their nails done. But we were able to be seen right away. There basic spa pedicure is $19 ok price. But once you get into the more Felix packages they get very expensive. I was happy with my pedicure, they have a very large assortment of colors to choose from, they staff is friendly, nice and welcoming and the facilities are clean. The parking is hit or miss. The lot is shared with a few other businesses so if they are all busy you have to wait or park across the stree. All in all I would go back, for a basic pedicure. read more

I made an appoijtment they welcome me in and have a seat pick a color, (which they have so many colors). I had a pedicure and a full set, I can tell you both were amazing!! I was referred to Ray for my nails and Jenny for my pedicure. My pedi was amazing! I have ingrown nails and she said, "oh I will take care of that" she did just that my feet felt great and looked amazing. My full set was done by Ray who is amazing. I told him what I wanted plus showed him a picture, he did just that! he took his time on my nails, made sure I was pleased with the length, shape, and color that I had picked out.
